Its one of those old but very nice theaters. This was my first time visiting, and I was not expecting much, but once I entered the building, it took me back in time. Parking is in the front and in the back. We parked in the back

Great theater! I love the old fashioned craftsmanship of the building circa 1918 or so. They kept the old world charm while integrating modern climate control and sound system technologies. Truly a wonderful experience and so many plays, concerts, etc. throughout the year

Dont be fooled by the exterior appearance! This theater isnt situated in what looks like a decent area, but once inside, the esthetics change everything and make the experience of Broadway come alive!

I was very impressed with the theater. Its well maintained in practically every way (as far as an outsider like me knows of course).The only negative thing would be the neighborhood. Just be aware of everything around you. Seriously. Especially at night.The parking structure is just across the street and relatively well lit. Just watch your back.The venues are pretty cool, we went and saw the Blue Man Group. Despite it being a smaller show they still put on a fun performance. Was kinda let down a bit but I was just going off from what Ive seen in videos and the shows Ive seen there are from Vegas so my expectations were a bit too high. Had fun nonetheless.The theatre:The staff are professional, polite and welcoming. Overall this place is awesome and Ill be coming back again as soon as I find a venue.

I took my daughters to see the Nutcracker. The venue is stunningly gorgeous! Very clean... I cant imagine dusting this place, but it was cleaned very well. The restrooms were well stocked and also clean, there was plenty of stalls and sinks to wash your hands. The neighborhood and surrounding area outside of the theatre was a little sketch, but the actual theatre and staff themselves were very kind and nice. I would consider going back here to watch a play or performance again. OH and parking, we parked across the street in the parking garage!

This theater is well preserved. There were a couple of things I hope will improve; the first being parking, there is an abandoned lot located across the street, but it looks unsafe, so we decided to park in the small lot behind the theater, which filled up quickly. The other issue I had was the long lines for the concession stands. It would have been helpful to have several staff helping those of us who wanted to purchase drinks & snacks.

I have been a season-ticket holder at the California theater in the past. All of my experiences until yesterday have been so good.My friend and I got tickets to see the sound of music yesterday, which I was really looking forward to since I just had a total knee replacement, and was happy to get out of the house. The sound of music is one of my favorite performances and I was so looking forward to it.The performance was excellent. All the actors were good the singing was excellent. However, the behavior of the people in the theater was appalling. People were getting up during the performance standing in the aisle so that you couldn’t see the stage. People were making noise eating in the theater. The family across from us had a child with flashing lights on their shoes, which was like a strobe light on the right side of my face continuously throughout the show. People were talking and just overall being rude.I have been to other theaters and this theater in the past and have never experienced anything like this. I don’t understand why people were behaving like this.It was a Sunday afternoon matinee. There were lots of children. They were talking and moving around eating and going in and out of the theater during the performance which I don’t think should be allowed.I have tickets to see Greece in a couple of weeks. I certainly hope that there is a different crowd at that performance.Very very disappointed.

I went with my family and we had a lovely time. The show was fantastic. This was quite the experience. Im most definitely going back
