2017-06-28 00:53:26Can improve on providing more courses to the cs students.it would be nice if they remove 2 course cs rule.and you would get view point of bay area from csueb campus.

2023-07-13 17:16:37So I went there for the orientation Day. CSU East Bays orientation day is a great way to get started on your college journey. The day is packed with information about the university, its resources, and how to succeed in college. Youll also have the chance to meet other new students and get involved in campus life. One of the things I loved most about CSU East Bays orientation day was the welcoming atmosphere. The staff and students were all so friendly and helpful, and they really made me feel like I belonged. I also appreciated the fact that the day was well-organized and informative. I learned a lot about the university and how to succeed in college.Funfact: Theyre building Science building #3. I am so excited, hope you check it out.CSU East Bay is located in Hayward, California, a city in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. The university has two campuses: the Hayward campus and the Concord campus. The Hayward campus is located in the hills above Hayward, with views of the San Francisco Bay and the surrounding area which is where the orientation Day happened. The campus is home to most of the universitys academic and administrative buildings, as well as the student union, the library, and the athletic facilities. The location of CSU East Bay is a major draw for me. The university is close to both San Francisco and Oakland, and it is also easily accessible by public transportation. The campus is also surrounded by a variety of parks and open space, which makes it a great place to live and study.

2023-06-11 22:45:11Accreditation is meaningless. The administration violates ferpa laws left and right so they shouldnt be receicing federal funds and the math and cs department are the most unintelligent and incompetent teachers in the country. If you still enjoy academics, dont go here because they will ruin that for you. I think a criminal record would look better on a resume than csu eastbay

2013-07-25 21:04:37Its a great school. The professors on campus in the major I was in for my undergraduates were all great. The student live is also good. Made a lot of good friends. The only downside is sometimes the administration sucks. They lack a lot in customer service sometimes. But they are dedicated and when they work, boy do they work great! I wish there was more fluidity among the admin staff, but they work hard and are under pressure a lot too.Plan on coming back for a masters program which I am looking forward to. I lived in hayward my whole life, and despite East Bay always being here, it is not a bad school at all.

2016-11-15 03:32:16Its a nice looking school but if you drop a class and ask for a refund GOOD LUCK! That money is gone, youll never see it again.I dropped a class that I paid over $900 for and according to their website youre entitled to a percentage refund depending on when you drop it. Their website said I would be entitled to 82% of this money back because I dropped after 2 weeks. Then when I go to the cashiers office the lady says it doesnt make a difference Im like yes it does Im out all this money for a class Im no longer taking. Shes like but youre still taking more than 6 units. You only get a refund if you drop and are only take less than 6 units. Then she just kept saying okay? okay? shoving my refund request form back to me, to get rid of me. The website doesnt say anything about me having to take less than 6 units in order to get a refund. I felt scammed and ripped off.Im a new transfer student and this is how they treat me for picking their school.

2013-07-21 19:41:10This is a great school. I transferred here from community college to major in Construction Management and was one of the few lucky students to start when the program first began. I am happy with the general classes in poli-sciences, accounting, management, physics, construction materials & methods, risk management and building codes, for they provide many of the foundation knowledge in my career. The faculty is willing to work with me as long as they know I am exerting effort to do well in their courses. I tried as best as I could, joined the programs club, participated in extra-curricular activities, went to the ASC competition and worked with the engineering students in various events.Ive been reading reviews and hearing peoples complaints about how the student administration staff are not easy to deal with, well my reply to them would be if you are polite and courteous then chances are people will reciprocate. Just dont expect top notch service, if you are not willing to do the leg work to get things done, otherwise complaining wont get you anything except the satisfaction of venting.Going back to my current enrollment in the program, I have just a little over two months to graduate with a Bachelor of Science. As of to date, I have an internship that I got through a university job advertisement in construction and will strive for a permanent position as soon as I graduate. All in all, for people who are looking to achieve a degree from an accredited university that is affordable, taught by knowledgeable professors, and is willing to work hard, study and apply what is learned then consider this campus to be an excellent investment for you to make.

2013-08-22 23:43:23Fantastic School. I am so glad I came here! I had previously attended UC Berkeley and found it a good school, but it was so focused on graduate students so much more than undergrads, that I felt those of us going for a bachelors degree were really just overwhelmed by sheer numbers of students in class and lack of actual instruction by real teachers. CSUEB is great in that the class sizes are small, and virtually all are taught by professors, rather than students like it was at UCB.Academics here are world-class in my opinion, especially in some areas that are not so well known, such as geology and environmental science. As I said, Im so happy to be attending and will be sad when I graduate next year. Maybe Ill go for my MBA here, since the business program has been highly ranked. The only slight downside here is the administration. Generally good, but sometimes they could be a little more helpful.Overall, a great university!

2013-04-10 01:27:37This is my third quarter here in CSU East Bay and I am really loving my experience here. This is a campus that has both diverse students and faculty members. I am a business major and have really enjoyed almost all the classes I have taken here. Most teachers are very helpful and will help you during their office hours/ by email and even through the phone.Regarding the administration, I have never had any problems with them. I think it depends on you really. If you check you mycsueb regularly it has all the administrative information you need. They have a to-do list, with phone numbers to respective departments if youre having trouble. They even send out email as reminders if youre missing a document or something else. You can easily make appointments if you wish to meet with a counselor. Also, they are pretty good about answering your questions through the phone as well..Overall a very good campus, at least it has been for me for the past 7 months.

2013-08-27 22:33:31I love CSUEB! Ive never had much of a problem. I will admit sometimes administration and financial aid can be a pain but classes, professors, the people here have made me love my experience! I also dorm and it isnt too crazy just because its a commuter campus but ive still had some of the best nights at the dorms. It is what you make it, but there is a lot of fun and good times up on this hill! :)
