2024-02-08 18:41:36Arrived at 7:30am and there were 4 other people in line. When the doors opened up 8:00am the friendly security guards organized everyone in a line. I was seen within 10 minutes. Staff was very welcoming, thorough, and helpful and helped solved my PFL problem in a time efficient manner. No complaints here. The one star reviews are mostly in regards to their phone experience and not this specific location. It’s too bad these negative reviews affect the overall score. I would give them more 5 star reviews if I could.

2024-05-13 00:14:41Compared to other EDD office, this 1 is alot better. Less people. But you do have to wait, for your call back though.

2023-11-14 16:23:28They obviously need to hire more staff. It’s always a wait and they are rude. We won’t even talk about the phone situation, you never can get in touch with anyone on the phone. They have an answering machine that they set up in order not to answer the phone directing you to go online. Which online is impossible because they make you go through a third party entity, which is impossible to get through. The government/system is just ridiculous. They definitely need to learn customer care, customer service.. as well As an overall new approach to how they operate.. it’s sickening..

2023-06-06 14:26:15Its hit or miss you think youre being helped, and they didnt help solve the bigger issue . Sometimes they automatically stop your automatic payments so you have to stop in, in order for them to release your check . The other day I was there, there was a white guy employee I never saw before, he was the fastest and the most effective to everyone he helped including myself. Just remember if you have to sign in, the number thats next to your name is the number they call out for . And they might have a line so be prepared to wait, during busier times. I went on a Friday around 10 am and it was practically empty, first time I could just walk right in ! I know its because of that new employee, been there numerous other times and its never this fast .

2022-06-10 22:42:20I have to say going to the Chino Hills office was a pleasant experience. I was dreading going after reading the reviews. It was a positive experience under the circumstances. Everyone there is polite and helpful.the security guards were welcoming and helpful. Yes, you have to wait a while but that is life.I waited about an hour at the most. I had a drink, read my book and waited. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful. He explained everything in detail and clarified what I didnt understand the first time he said it. I get it, it can be an unnerving experience when you dont know what to expect or arent sure if youre filling out the forms properly. They are there to help. I did go back on other occasion again everyone there was helpful and respectful to everyone. Different people but the same good customer service. I did see a couple of people with rude attitudes. They kept their calm and explained what needed to be done. Please dont go in there with a rude and entitled attitude. There is no need to make their job harder. They are doing the best they can with their staffing.

2023-07-12 21:19:37Came here to help a family member. Its busy and saturated (I came on a Wednesday Afternoon). When you step in there are 2 security officers. Dont talk to the thinning male security officer. He is RedTape-y, particular with rules, contradicts his coworkers, and will fumble everything you need (please dont be mean to him though, hes just slow and aloof). Just pick up the small slip next to the door before you enter and give it to the female security officer. The younger female officer knows what she is doing. Also, mark both phone and in-person so you get service quicker. I got a phone call from a representative that is working remotely (Thank you Jose for your help over the phone)!
