My regular Dr. told me I needed to see an ophthalmologist. He called California Eye Professionals and they got me an appointment in 1 hour. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, efficient, and seemed genuinely concerned with my well being. Dr. Barr was very thorough and explained a lot about my eye and the problem I was having. They also have a complete optometry department so I will start going there for my glasses from now on. This will be my one stop shop from now on for anything eye related.

I had a horrible eye injury due to one of my children scratching me in the eyeball. My first stop was to urgent care where I was informed that I would need to see an ophthalmologist immediately the pain. The pain was indescribable. I would not wish that type of pain on anyone. I called Dr. Barr’s office and luckily was able to be seen quickly. Dr. Barr Quickly assist the situation and treated my eye. He was very Professional and knowledgeable of the situation. He treated My eye and within two days it was back to normal. I would definitely recommend Doctor Barr and his office To everyone!

During my initial visit, which included a comprehensive eye exam and retinal photos, every staff member I met was professional and kind. The Doctor of Optometry that examined me (Debra) was extremely skilled and had the right level of OCD to spend enough time to find a best possible correction for my vision issues. I quickly felt cared for and listened to like I would with a long time family doctor. I was a person and not just a number. Time stood still for him while I got my questions and concerns answered and my eyes looked at. It was the same with the office staff. They always greet me by my first name when I appear in the waiting room with other patients. I look forward to communication with them in person, on the phone or email.

My service is scheduled for May 1, 2024. Thank you to the person who picked up my call. I was experiencing an eye emergency and was advised to see an ophthalmologist. As I was unable to see in my left eye, that progress to a severe eye pain that felt like sand was poured into it. After explaining my condition, she put me on hold to speak with her supervisor, by then I was approved to be seen right away.

Wow! So unorganized. Called me 3 days before surgery and said we need your money. I paid 2 weeks ago.. Do you have my EKG and doctors release, if you dont have my funding? Im sure they do. Well they didnt. Surgery got canceled. Im out $125 in medications that I am not going to use. Nor will I ever recommend California Eye Professionals again. Twice they denied me prescription glasses and pressured me into getting cataract surgery. I went to VSP. I have new glasses. Save your time and your money go elsewhere.

I was greeted with a very friendly staff, and it did not take long for a series of eye tests that were administered by the tech. She was very nice and pleasant. Dr. Bar was the specialist who examined my eyes. He seemed very professional with a caring bed side manner. My experience there was quite pleasant for the circumstances. Will definitely look forward to seeing them again because of their hospitality.

When calling 30 minutes prior to closing no one answers or it automatically goes on hold and then disconnects. 🤔I waited for a week still no one returned my call. I have been a patient of Eye Pros in Temecula several times over ten years. They work with me quickly and in a friendly way. On my last visit, the optometrist identified a medical problem and immediately referred me to a separate practice of retinal specialists. I have chosen to buy my eyeglasses and frames there also as they have a good selection with varying prices, giving discounts on frames and lenses with all the bells and whistles. Yes, I would recommend them.

Excellent experience from all the professions at California Eye Professionals. Dr. Burns has performed my Cataract extraction and a IOL implant. The results have been excellent. Dr. Burns is very patient oriented and an expert surgeon. I totally would recommend him for your eye needs and surgery. Also the staff at Temecula Valley Day Surgery were very attentive and made my Surgery Day an easy process. A five plus star rating for Dr. Burns and his staff.

I recently went for a consultation with Dr Michael A. Warnerfor my drooping eye lids, this doctor, was terrible. He never even looked at my eyes, he gave me two choices the first one was covered by insurance, he asked his office manager to show me these disgusting poor quality pictures with 1/2 semi circle scars about 3/4 - 1 above the eyes. The poor guy in the photo looked like Coco the clown, the only other alternate was to offer me a brow lift at my hair line. Approximate costs being about $7500.I started to think how my surgery could be done better?Could they not try cutting near my eye brows to avoid seeing the scars? But Im a shipbuilder, what the feck would I know.Turns out my wife looked this up and this is a method used by real doctors.Dont pay co-payment for $85 for 2 mins of this Money grabber.Jim Smith

My parents had worse experience ever with one of the ladies that work in the department were they try on their glasses. Since then my parents refused to go there. Doctors are very nice besides the issue my mom an dad had with one on the ladies that works there. My mom said she was very rude. I had cataract surgeries on both eyes this summer with Dr Richard Burns. I choose the Laser surgery & no more glasses. I was scared of any eye surgery, but Dr. Burns reassured me I would not feel anything & I would be relaxed. He is a man of his word & I thank him for giving me my sight back along with other adjustments to my sight. The personnel here are very friendly! I’ve been here twice (2years) for my annual check. First doctor I had was great and the one I had this last visit (Dr McIntyre) was also great.It does put you back a little when you first walk in because it is usually pretty crowded in the waiting room. So far though I’ve never had to wait very long before being called.They also seem to have the latest technology for checking your eyes.

I had an awful experience with the front desk clerks at this office! I was visiting for the first time for a glaucoma consultation. My insurance is Aetna PPO. I confirmed with the insurance company before I booked the appointment that the doctor is in their network. After checking in, the clerk called me to the front desk and claimed that their billing does not take my insurance so If I want to see the doctor, I have to pay by cash. I told her I already confirmed with the insurance company that the doctor does take my insurance and asked her to please call them. She refused to call my insurance company and kept insisting I had to pay cash. I had to cancel the appointment and left the office without seeing the doctor. I had waited to see this doctor for 2 months! After I cancelled, I called my insurance company and once again confirmed that this doctor is in my network and they would cover my treatment. Ridiculous!Also, with another clerk, I asked if they take my insurance for optical (glasses) and gave her my insurance card for vision and dental. The clerk claimed that “this is dental insurance.” She did not take the time to look at the card which clearly states it’s for both vision and dental.All in all, everyone I spoke to at this office were both rude and incompetent. Considering how poorly trained the staff are, I would never trust this doctor or his office to competently handle my medical treatment.

It was VERY easy to make an appointment, the wait was a normal wait time, the waiting room was cool and there was plenty of seating (even with social distancing) and they even had a small refrigerator with cool water bottles for patients. The staff is friendly and well versed. I came in with a very serious condition and Dr. MacIntyre was Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I felt that she understood my situation perfectly, her recommendations were spot on and Greatly Appreciated, especially during a really rough time, for my family and I. Dr Burns is my fathers cataract surgeon and he’s one of the best in California. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and my dad and did not try to rush the surgery. I appreciate his professionalism and all of his hard work. His technician named Nate was very professional and helpful with getting my father in ASAP he was very kind and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied. Both my daughter and I went in for an eye exam. The office was really busy and it was extremely windy outside!!! And the receptionist needs to find a new job, she definitely isnt front office/receptionist quality. You could really tell she hated being there. First we saw a technician, then the physician. I have Davis Insurance through my employer and this was the very FIRST TIME I received a pair of glasses for FREE!!! Both the Doctor and the Eye Exam Technician were courteous and professional!!! Look forward to visiting them next year!!! Recommended my fiancee to this office for her exam!!!

Initially hard to get someone on the phone who could answer questions regarding my cataract surgery. I wanted to narrow my field of potential surgeons to 2-3.Once contact was made everyone was helpful and professional. This surgeon has several of the best available lenses to choose from and he also offers laser surgery.I will be having my surgery the end of May 2019.

Made an urgent appointment as a first time patient on a Saturday morning. Understandably, many people would rather be elsewhere than at work on Saturday morning, but its not necessary to be quite as transparent about it as they were here. The receptionist was clearly short-tempered and double-charged me my co-pay. The person who did all these tests on my eyes, who I thought was the doctor, was the nicest of all, never gave me her name and seemed like she was miserable. After she was done with me, I stayed in the exam room forever. Dr. Wilson came in and never asked me any questions, like how long things have been going on, for example. She just seemed shut off and cold. After looking at my eyes, she gave me a prescription for $600 eye drops and said to come back in a month. After that, we walked up to the front. At that point, I spoke to the lady who schedules appointments and she told me that I have no insurance! I told her that I do have insurance and she said that another girl, who wasnt standing there at the time, called the insurance company and they said it expired and that we talked about it and I knew about it. I said that it wasnt correct and I waited for the other girl to come back so that I could talk to her. This didnt sit well with this lady. She asked me to leave and said that they dont call insurance companies on the weekend anyway. What? I left and went home to call the insurance company. As I knew it, everything was fine and I called Eye Pros to tell them. I was told that they dont call insurance companies on the weekend and that they would call them again on Monday. Nobody has ever followed through with me, either. What is up with this place?

Recently, I had to have cataract surgery due to medication, and I was referred to Dr Burns at California Eye Professionals. Dr Burns is awesome! He explained to me my options, told me what to expect, and the day of surgery was fast and painless. I went to Cal Eye Professionals to have my laser retina surgery checked. The procedure was performed by two other doctors at a different clinic and when I became eligible for medicare, I was no longer covered by those two doctors. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by CEP. The admin staff was friendly, courteous and informative. All of the pre-testing before seeing a doctor was done quickly and efficiently by a very nice technician. Dr. Ulibarri was outstanding. He explained what he was looking for and in detail how a retinal tear could cause damage to eye sight. He was friendly, very informative and extremely professional. Horrible experience. I was scheduled an appointment for Monday for pain in my eye. When I got there they told me it was scheduled for the following day. My referral said urgent so they let me see the doctor. Doctor Willson seemed upset, and didnt want to hear anything I had to say. She didnt ask me any questions about what was going on with my eye. She told me it was allergies and gave me a prescription for eye drops. When I tried to tell her it was a sharp pain in my eye when I look down, she told me not to look down then... I tried the eye drops for about 2 weeks with no help. I called back to make another appointment and was told I cant be seen for a month.

My experience was wonderful.The staff ate very friendly and knowledgeable. The doctors are on their A game. They treat their clients with with some of the most advance technology and medical skills. Even though they did not perform my original surgery. California Eye Pro gave me back my sight and my life. I could have lost my sight from my pressure and not being able to come down and I could not come out in day time for months. My doctor at the hospital blew me off couple days after the surgery with it will get better.I had optical nerve migraine in my eye and head. My pressure was going up to 160 and 170 from eye pain. I was back in the office every week and emergency room 2 times because of eye from cataract surgery know one at this hospital was doing anything but increase medicine that was not working.I felt hopeless that I could not drive and could not go out in daylight w/o two set of sunglasses and a ball cap.Every time I move my eye it felt like sand rubbing my pupil and it felt like the lens would slide. My medical doctor told me to try Ca Eye Pro when I was in her office and one of these optical migraine came on.I call them in excruciating pain they told me to come in and they will work me in. This was the best thing in the world that could have happened to me my pressure was so high and I had problems in the other eye that I didnt even know thats the doctor at the hospital didnt even addressed. I could have gotten glaucoma if my pressure stay high like that. California Eye Pro work diligently to find the solution to get my eyes are under control. They gave me new and different medicine within a few days I got relief from the sand paper feel evertime I move my eye. The blood red eye was turning white again. I could only make it a few miles and pull over and wait 15 to 20 minutes before I could drive a little more.I could not deal w lights of on coming cars or look out side windows or taillights in front of me. CALIFORNIA EYE PRO find the solution w driving glasses. I can not speak highly enough about the doctors the staff or facility there. They are the state of the art facility that stay up on the most advance procedures to ensure the best possible out come for their patients. I give them A ++++ rating. It was easy to make an appt. They accomidated us when I didnt have my daughter insurance card on hand. They tested her and kept in mind shes 6yrs so she may not understand what shes being asked to do.
