We are beyond thrilled with our new home office. We needed a zoom-worthy background, combined with desk space, office supply storage, file storage, a library space for our many books, a wardrobe, and a Queen Murphy bed. A lot to ask of one small room! But Lori designed it to perfection, and was with us during every step of the process. A couple of small glitches with install were quickly fixed by her team. We highly recommend Lori and her team at California Closets.

Fabulous experience and product! We had two long closets with so much wasted space. Heidi came in and within an hour or two she had created a digital design layout to maximize the space with a perfect mix of shelving and hanging areas. It was an enjoyable process from initial meeting to install completion. Seamless without any fuss or mess. The closets are functional, beautiful and great quality. Im extremely happy with California Closets. I initially consulted with Closet World and Closet by Design (CBD) and was frustrated with CBD for their lack of response and unprofessionalism.When I found California Closets, it was like night and day! My designer, Shana, is topnotch! Shes courteous, experienced, a master at CAD, excellent communicator, and a true professional! She was able to layout the cabinet design for my office at the first meeting in a short amount of time. The 3D rendering helped me visualize the final product in real time. I was sold!Within a few weeks of production, the technicians came to install the cabinets for my office and the entire closet system for my spare bedroom. The technicians, Byron and Curt, are Master Carpenters. Their attention to details with every corner of the room was impeccable. Their expertise combined with Shanas designs delivered beautiful end products that I was beyond thrilled.The cost is higher than other vendors but trust me, you get what you paid for. California Closets is the best in design, customer service, product quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction. I write very few reviews unless I receive exceptional service, and California Closets is truly exceptional! They are worthy of a 10 stars review!

Celia McManus is the BEST designer. She came up with creative solutions for storage in both our kids rooms. She designed two window bench seats with pull out drawers and shelves, as well as a walk-in closet. She is easy to work with, patient, and most importantly creates functional/practical and attractive designs. Definitely going to use her and California Closets for future projects in our home.

We just had garage cabinets installed and California Closets did a wonderful job! The cabinets look amazing and our designer, Emily Haradon, took so much time planning it out with us and her design and measurements came out perfectly. Bonnie in scheduling was so kind and worked with me when I had a family emergency and needed to postpone our install date. The installers, Ahmed, Mark, and Chris, were very professional and friendly, and worked with me to make sure all aspects of our project were completed. I highly recommend California Closets!

Very happy with our remodeled closet! Every California Closets team member was professional and helpful from the design specialist to the installer. They made sure we were updated throughout the process and understood any next steps. Planning the closet layout was easy with several options to choose from so we got the layout that will work for us. Appreciate that they were also very upfront about their pricing. After getting estimates from other closet companies, CC was the best value and easiest to work with.

Myrna Gallardo is an incredible designer with California Closets (CC). I had never worked with CC before and she made the whole process completely seamless. Even when there were issues with the install, she went out of her way to ensure that everything was corrected in a timely manner, handled all the coordination, and took a hands on approach. She truly had everything under control and answered every one of my text messages/calls with utmost care and concern. I would happily work with Myrna again. She is an excellent designer (the space turned out excellent) and, importantly, she really cares about the experience of her clients. Truly an amazing person to have in your corner.

Myrna followed up throughout and during installation when things werent aligning just right, she coordinated with her team and got their most-tenured installation experts onto our job. The install team came back to fine-tune our wardrobe 3x total which is a great demonstration of the companys commitment to both service and quality. Definitely a 5 star experience!

We had a large closet that was a mess. Shana gave us a great design. After a day or two, we wanted to make changes to the design. Shana was so professional and so easy to work with. California Closets (Huntington Beach) is a great choice as they have an actual showroom you can visit to see closet collections in person and installed, which means you can actually see the different ways doors can open, drawers can slide, etc. And they are open on Saturdays! We were lucky that on our visit the designer on duty was Matias Barrionuevo, as he was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. There wasn’t any aspect of our plan that he didn’t understand, and he supplied detailed digital drawings that made everything clear. We recommend him highly!

Our primary closet needed a major update after we moved in to our new home, so we had been looking around for a while since the closet was a bit awkward to try and redo ourselves. We worked with Kym to reorganized our relatively small space and she worked wonders to help us maximize our closet’s utility! The design process was easy and flexible, Kym really heard our needs and gave us a great demo that fit our style and budget. The install by Ahmed was seamless and Kym was sure to be there day of to make sure everything was exactly how we had mocked it up (and brought us flowers :) ). Truly a great experience all around!

My closet was installed on June 8, 2023 and it immediately looked great but after I was done gawking on how the entire space looked I was very displeased in the actual craftsmanship of the install. They used so much caulk at first that I had to ask the installer to try to remove it. The pictures are of after he removed some of the caulk and I had to paint, even after that there is still a good amount of caulk overlay remaining. The caulk is now changing color that doesn’t match the white and it has only been a couple months since the install. The corner seams of the cabinet doors and drawers are not smooth and looks like the veneer is separating. The piece of crown molding at the very top had to two pieces and you can see the line, caulk used and splotchy painting. Lastly the sales rep never contacted me after the install to see if there were any issues.

The installation was handled professionally, our property was properly protected so nothing was damaged and the end result was exactly what we had hoped for. We’ve been told by guests the memory foam mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. When the bed is closed the desk is perfectly functional. We will always recommend California Closets.

Love our California Closets! We recently moved and downsized from a single family home to a townhome in an active senior community. We received three bids, which also means we had three different designers with three different designs. Linda at California Closets had the best and most effective design by far. Linda took her time to design each space and was very detailed. She checked and double checked her calculations and what our goal was for the space. Linda provided three D renderings of her design for our primary bedroom closet, our entry closet and our guest bedroom where we decided to install a wall bed. We even visited the showroom in Huntington Beach to see their products in person. There are many options, so this is a good idea to take the time to do.When the closet and wall bed was installed, the team that comes out is very professional, they left the rooms in perfect condition. And they swipe down the product after installation. They take pride in their work and it shows. We had one minor issue, and it was taken care of promptly.I highly recommend California Closets and specifically Linda for your organizational needs. I am planning to have them give us a bid for a media center and another area off our dining area. They have solutions for many areas of your home.

I contacted 5 closet installation businesses and California Closets was by far the most professional plus an added bonus these days is they actually have showrooms with the outstanding customer service associates. Lisa was the designer assigned to my project and she was professional, pleasant and easy to work with. Lisa took the time to carefully listen to what I wanted and made great suggestions. After the appointment Lisa followed-up but was kind and never intrusive. Unfortunately in the end I decided stand alone cabinetry was a better fit for us than a built in. However, if I ever need bulit-in cabinets I will call California Closets first and request Lisa.

I was very impressed with my experience with California Closets - my master closet space was not maximized by the builder and the space itself felt a bit challenging. My designer Jennie was SO creative and helpful - she came to my home, took measurements and then put together 3 designs for me while I worked. I couldnt let anymore time pass without giving a big shout out to California Closets and Jade Garcia for the incredible job that was done to transform a bedroom into an incredible functional office and bedroom when needed with the Murphy Bed.A little history for you.....I had spoken to (2) other competitors who came out to my home and neither could do the job due to a curve in the one wall. They didnt know how to keep an even flow of cabinets.From the beginning when Jade came to the home and I told her the dilemma of the other 2 competitors and she immediately said, this is not a problem....it can be done. I was impressed with her enthusiasm and positive attitude after what I had recently experienced with the other two companies.Then visiting your showroom so that I could see the CAD results and all the many displays was most impressive. I liked how Jade showed me on the computer drawings all the various ways we could make changes. I also appreciated her professionalism in following up with me every step of the way with excitement as if it was her office/bedroom that was being redesigned.Working in corporate for 30 years,I know the importance of notes such as this showing appreciation for a job well done and good service. People are quick to complain but seldom share with others their appreciation and happiness for a service. Thank you ever so much for putting Jade on my job. We had a very positive experience with California Closets. We hired California Closets to install a media center/library in our loft. First, we worked with designer Celeste, who was kind, a good listener, and offered useful suggestions.After interviewing several contracters and different companies, we chose California Closets because of their attention to detail in the design process and their competitive pricing.The installation team was great. There were a couple of minor hiccups as there can be with any project, and the installers were great problem solvers, so there were no delays with the installation. The final project is beautiful and exactly what we wanted.

Once we settled on the design I was given and installation date. On the day of install the installer arrived on time and got to work. Just one guy and he cut and customized much of the closet on site. He was very careful not to damage anything in the home and cleaned up well after work. My closets are amazing. I have used them before for my master closet and had a great experience. This time it was just two simple drawers and it took them four tries to get it right. Each time it was something different. First time the measurements were completely incorrect and didn’t fit. We got the wrong plug delivered for the charging dock etc. I think this took over four months. This is not counting the time from the appt and building time. I even got billed in full half way through and I myself had to inform accounting it wasn’t complete yet. I thought they would offer some kind of adjustment or something but at the end I just got a bill and that was it.

They have beautiful designs and products, and excellent customer service, from the design phase through construction completion. Im really happy we had our closet built by California Closets. The whole process went easily and smoothly. Their designer came to our house, measured the closet, and asked us a few questions about what kind of space we need (bar, shelf, drawer, etc). Then using her laptop and their special software, she dragged, dropped, and sized all the components quickly onto a drawing. We discussed special items like jewelry drawer, shoe shelves, belt/tie racks, baskets, laundry hampers, etc. and those were added. She had samples of the wood and cloth to make it easy to pick. She was immediately able to show us a 3D view of the closet and look at it from all angles, as well as the exact cost. We made a few adjustments to the design. We were done in about an hour. The order was placed, and a few weeks later they came out to install our custom closet. They did a very nice installation, and left the site completely clean. It couldnt have been a better experience.

While it was a pleasure working with my sales associate, I was disappointed with the manufacturing of my closet system. I had specific requests that I was told wouldnt be a problem, but werent done when it came time to install. At install, closet options indicated on my contract were not included, hinges on the doors didnt align properly, etc. They had to come out repeatedly to correct these issues. My only disappointment in the product is that the imprecise initial measurement created approximately 2 plus inches on each side of one of the closets between wall and closet. You don’t see it face on because of the facing but on top there is a space on each side where stuff can fall down and never be retrieved. That’s happened already. I really feel if they were going to leave such a space, on each side, that they should have covered it. Otherwise they have created a beautiful product.

I came here to look for ideas for our master closet, we didnt have an appointment nor talked to anyone before heading in . My husband and I were greeted promptly by front desk. As stroll around we were greeted by Valerie as senior designer. Valerie was able to walk us around explaining their promotions as well asking us what we wanted. We set an appointment for an estimate. Valerie remember every detail we were asking about when she came and mapped it out for us. Their system is sophisticated and I love the 3D pictured that helps it really visualize what may go into your closet.So far we have not committed but still exchanging emails to see other options.Friendly and great customer service.

California Closets did our master bedroom closet. Though it wasnt cheap, and there are lots of add ons that you just cant say no to, our closet looks like a million bucks and is so much better organized and fits so much more stuff. It was definitely worth every penny and I would do it again in a heart beat.

Lily, the designer who come out to my house and the installer, Alfredo are so awesome! Lily kept tracking down everything w/ me from time to time till all the works done. She made what I thought in my mind as the real matter into my house(garage closets for shoes, partial closets in the master room, also 2 other partial closets for 2 guest bedrooms). And Alfredo is the best, best installer/contractor Ive ever met so far, answered everything till I understood and he worked so quiet, courteous, gentle and fast.(I dont like ppl who talk a lot and dont do their work properly) Im thinking later my small den to make over a few yrs later according to my budget, then definitely Ill call Lily and Alfredo, again!
