We hired Cali Coast to install pendant lights, ceiling speakers and TV cabling for a projector. They took time to get the lights right and the speakers perfectly placed. The owner Cody was super nice, honest and easy to work compared to all the other estimates. Elliot and Daniel showed up on time and were really nice, very professional and did excellent work. They were very patient, clearly explained everything and answered all our questions. We needed a good electrician and will definitely recommend and use them again if needed!

Great experience. Cali Coast Electric installed our car charger outlet in garage, installed a custom outlet within the home and installed 2 ceiling fans. Andrew and Elliot were great, professional and answered questions. They took the time to put weights on our ceiling fan blades, just so that it would run smooth at high setting speeds. Highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

We had our 240 volt NEMA 14-50 outlet with 50A breaker installed in our garage. It requires a Tesla home 240 volt adapter for charging. Elliott our electrician provided a great installation and tip top customer service.I met with Owner Cody also due to a miscommunication between us. Cali Coast Electric is now our go to for any electrical work needed for our home. They changed out 4 wall outlets, a wall switch and wired/installed a fan in one of our bedrooms all in about 2 hours +/-. They did a fantastic job! They were friendly and professional. Moved to a home with quite a lot of electrical work needing done. Luckily, I found Cali Coast!! They have been a true life saver! Dont let Codys youthful appearance fool you. He owns the company, his focus in on the customer, he is very fair with his pricing, and has one heck of a hard work ethic!He built us a second panel and charging station for our electric car, which has saved us a ton of money! They changed out just about every ceiling fan and light fixture in the entire house. They installed a whole house fan as well. They have upgraded our home to smart switches that are paired with our cellphone, its great! I could go on and on!! They also did a lot of work outside, our sprinkler system was a mess! The prior owner had it running on an orange cord! Cody fixed all that, and thats no joke we have over 40 sprinkler stations. Whew!! They are wonderful to work with, neat, clean and organized. Always respectful of my home. We are so grateful for all their help and hard work. Big job, small job- Hire this company, you wont be disappointed!!

I bought my house in 2017. It has custom wiring work on the outside from the previous owner. I went out and messed with a transformer where all this custom work is. Then the outlets near the transformer stopped working. The outside light and fountain switches also stopped. I went through and checked the GFIs and the circuit breakers, but found nothing tripped.I called Cali Coast Electric. Cody came out and looked at the problem stuff. He found a GFI outside that I totally missed. He reset it, and everything worked again. He somewhat predicted this during our initial phone conversation.I was starting to ask him what I owed him for the visit. He said there was no charge because he was there only a few minutes, and asked that if I needed any electrical work in the future, that I call him up.I am extremely happy with the service he provided, and will be calling him soon to check out my mothers house with the guaranteed electrical problems it has!

I think I’ve used them a total of four times now. They crush it at everything and the last two times I tried to shop around just to make sure I was getting the best deal. The next closest bid came in double what they quoted and it was going to take them a week or two to get the job done. Cali Coast electric scheduled it two days later I got it done the same day. Very straightforward. And very good at what they do. I have another electrician that I’ve used for some properties and after getting bids from Cali Coast, he even told me that it would be hard for anyone to beat or even meet his prices.

I tripped my garage GFI while installing a hose reel for the front yard. Not knowing much about electricity besides the fact it’s dangerous to play with, I wanted someone reliable and dependable. I saw a Cali Coast Truck in my neighborhood and chased them down to get the number to call for service. From the initial call to the finalization of the service I was impressed. My breaker box was vandalized overnight. I had zero power and a very confused, agitated family. Called a few “emergency” places to no avail. Enter Cody from this company. Looked at the pics, gave me a rundown and calmed everyone down. The switch in the guest bathroom needed to be replaced. I called Cody and they happened to have a same day appointment. I don’t write reviews often, so the fact that I’m writing this is testament to the fantastic job done by Cali Coast Electric. We hired Cody Harstock from Cali Coast Electric to run power out to our landscaping project, run conduit and outlets inside our patio structure, wire and install some outlets on our BBQ island, install a ceiling fan box and wire our water feature. They also did a bunch of other stuff, but all that doesn’t matter. What does matter is the top notch service they provided. Cody was prompt to respond to our request for a quote and his prices were very competitive. We had contacted several electricians to request quotes and Cody was the only one to reach out to our landscaper to get a better idea of what we really needed. Cody came out and walked the site before the project was started to ensure things ran smoothly on install day. Their work was clean, professional and done on time and on budget. They thought they would have to cut our drywall to install one of the fans. Yay. Hiring a contractor. But they were able to do it without any holes or damage at all!! Called several other companies but only got answering machine or answering service. Called Cody and he picked up his own phone. Even heard his little ones playing in the background. I had an emergency electrical need at a rental property that I had just inherited. After checking some reviews, I gave Cali Coast a call fairly late in the day. Cody answered, asked some questions, and said he would be out early the next morning. I had been warned by a friend that any electrician would try to rip me off. But Cali Coast not only came out on short notice, they fixed the problem promptly and charged a very fair price. I then asked if they would install a ceiling fan at my house. (A handy man had tried to install one but couldn’t in my older mobile home.) the next week Cody and Jay came out and had the fan up and running in no time at a good price. Today, Cali Coast Electric installed FIVE Ring Floodlight Cameras Wired Pro on the outside of my single-storied house.They were Fast and Efficient -- they really KNOW what they are doing. Update:Cody came out today, because our microwave stopped working and the appliance company said it was due to electrical problems. I think overall the job seemed rushed and therefore lacked a little precision. I wasnt happy with the placement of a few cameras and an extra hole in my stucco as a result. I really at first didnt want to give a review but felt I should.I feel that when having asked Cody to come back to fix a crooked camera that wasnt straight in the front, I felt he was more dismissive than anything else and really didnt want to fix because it looked fine to him.All of the work done in the inside, such as mounting TVs was completed just fine. There was a hole in my wall that was put there when running one of my cables and I was not asked or called before that happened. So now that needs to be patched.I guess you cant make everyone happy, I will leave it at that. I feel I didnt get the quality of work I thought I would receive from a company with 5 star reviews.

Cody and the guys from Cali Coast Electric were absutely awesome. I had a devastating fire in my house, everything was removed down to the studs and the entire house had to be re wired. Dealing with contractors was a nightmare, but Codys team made it all much more bearable. They did a tertific quality job in a timely manner, very professional and informative. Not only i have my electricity on, but I also have learned a lot from them about how it all works. It was a pleasure working with them.Furthermore, Cody helped me out even after his job was done. The drywall people that the contractor hired were absolutely terrible, among many other things they did wrong, the electrical curcuits were damaged, walls had to be broken once again and the contractor did not wish to deal with it. However, Cody came to my rescue. He fixed everything, and also got his friend to come and repair drywall free of charge. He did not have to do it at all, it was a general contractors responsibility. I was very impressed, you dont often expect diecency from contractors, but clearly Cody is a rare treasure. Not only he is a solid professional but also a fantastic human being.I highly recommend Cali Coast Electric, they realy are the best.

My expectations for an electrician arent very high given past experiences, but from the first contact with Cody at Cali Coast Electric - I now have a new high standard for any contractor. Codys interactions with me thru messages was courteous, professional and educational. He even offered to do a virtual walkthrough for convenience and safety during the Covid-19 stay at home order. We had been quoted by a few other electricians who had great yelp reviews - but after talking with Cody - Who we found thru yelp - we both realized the other quotes were not looking at the most efficient way to provide the work we needed. Cody saw ways to optimize the installation so there wasnt unnecessary work and equipment. Basically he saved us from having to have a new sub panel installed and ugly exterior conduits.Day of install - Cody let me know when he was on his way. He laid out their plan at the beginning of the install and then walked us thru what they had done at the end. The whole process was easy and quick on our end and were enjoying our brand new hot tub two weeks earlier than the other electricians had quoted us.Cali coast electric is licensed, bonded, insured and did a stellar job.
