It was very pleasant to work with a professional of this caliber. Inspector arrived on time and was extremely thorough, spending the necessary time to fully inspect the home. The knowledge & experience he had regarding manufactured homes made me feel comfortable that my prospective purchase was in good condition and with correction of the few items it needed would bring it to great condition. He even provided recommendations on who to contact to have those corrections made, which I researched and found to be top notch tradesmen with stellar reviews and long work histories in my area. You can trust Cal-Spec to be on your side and have your best interest in mind when they inspect a home.

Jerry was everything a buyer would want in a Home Inspector: thorough, communicative, and experienced with an out-going personality (even over the phone!) As an out-of-town buyer I was not able to be present at the inspection. No problem! The detailed reports that Jerry sent via e-mail with equally detailed photographs and accompanying excellent explanations put my mind at ease over any concerns I had. I would recommend Jerry 100% for any of your home inspection needs!! Thank you Jerry! I hope never to move again, but should the need arise I will be calling you.

I highly recommend CalSpecInc. Because Vera was very thorough and professional, my tile man was replacing a cracked tile by the shower head and found a leak, we had him tear down the one wall by the shower head to find out if we had mold, the 2by4’s were rotted and we saw some black stains on the wood, we hired Vera to do a mold test and once she got the lab results back it was positive that we had mold, then Vera recommended I hire a mold remediation company and I hired Kings remediation and they came and sealed everything off and spent all day cleaning the mold a fumigated the bathroom for 24 hours, when they were done they advised me to do another mold test before I rebuild the shower to make sure the mold was removed, they recommended I use someone else which I did and and the test was negative, I was happy with their service but I have to say Vera was more thorough and tested all over the house and outside and documented everything with pictures. I also recommend to go through your home owner’s insurance because everything cost me about $15,000 and I could have probably saved a lot of money. Edwin

Jerry was great! He was super quick to respond, on time and very patient with my schedule. He was thorough and quick. The inspection report was awesome! Clear and easy to read, and most importantly didn’t overwhelm my clients! I will definitely be using Cal-Spec again

Jerry Campbell of Cal Spec Inc. was recommended to me by two friends he’d done work for. I was impressed by his overall knowledge regarding home construction. He has been in the contracting business since he was a teenager and that experience was apparent as he detailed what was good and bad about the condition of my home. Some special qualities made Jerry stand out. The attention and care he paid to the problems with this home made me feel as if he was treating it with the same respect as he would his own home.
