Cal-Coast Window & Doors service was exemplary from start to finish. Sal came out first and was informative, personable and easy to work with. He was great with communications all along the way during the project. We were super impressed with the installation team. My wife and I had fun calling them The Daniels.A father and son team that was polite, professional and knew their craft from top to bottom. We felt very fortunate to have such an amazing experience with the Cal -Coast team. We highly recommend their services.

We worked with Cal Coast to replace all of our single pane, aluminum windows and a sliding patio door. We had such a great experience from start to finish. We met JT first and we appreciated how honest he was with us. He didnt give off the used car salesman vibe like some other companies we got quotes from. He was responsive via text and email throughout the whole ordering process. And our windows and doors came sooner than expected.Our installation team consisted of Daniel and Danny and we are so thankful they were assigned to our project. They were very respectful of our home - wearing booties around the house or laying a tarp down wherever they worked. I have two young kids who needed to nap in their rooms throughout the day and Daniel offered to work around our kids nap schedule. They also did an amazing job with the installation. We ran into an issue where our original door frame was crooked. It took some extra work to fix it on Daniels part but he was thorough and efficient, and it looks great. They even wiped down all of our windows and tracks when they were finished and showed us how to operate everything.Overall Cal Coast is a pleasure to work with and we are so happy with our new windows.Tip: If you have the opportunity, ask for Daniels crew for your installation!

We had Cal Coast Windows do our job in 2018 and called back out this year for phase 2. The install went great the first time and we never had problems. We also like that we have seen them grow and get even more stable in the Eastbay market where we live. We are having them install phase 2 next month and would recommend them.

I cant say enough good things about Rob, JT, and the entire crew at Cal Coast. I needed a replacement door for an older set of French doors that were installed incorrectly, allowing water intrusion and dry rot. Rob and JT researched it and recommended a slider to fit the not so common opening. This solution is actually better. Their install crew was A+ and they flashed in some tough spots considering the gutter just above it. They also removed the dry rot and reframed the king studs. What an incredible company and solution. I work in Real Estate and will be recommending them to everyone I meet that needs new windows or similar solutions.

This is the second time Ive contacted Cal Coast to bid on replacement windows, and both times Ive been so impressed by the companys responsiveness and expertise. Sal was an awesome person to work with, and we feel very lucky to have benefited from his knowledge and patience. We ended up not going with Cal Coast this time due to special circumstances, but our decision had nothing to do with the company. In the process of building an ADU, I reached out to Milgard to bid on Windows for it. They suggested working with Jaime Ledesma. Over a period of 2-3 weeks I peppered Jaime with questions, size of windows, options for glass, and finally was able to get the pricing. He was always ready to satisfy my request and always with a smile. Jaime came with a very competitive price but since I was also buying skylights and glass blocks, I ended up buying from a supplier who provided all of the items. My experience working with Cal Coast Windows, and Jaime specifically, was positive so when my windows in my other house are up for replacement, Jaime will be there person I call.

JT, Gary, Lorna, and the whole crew at Cal Coast Window + Door were great to work with! After buying our old 1924 craftsman fixer-upper, I consulted with five different companies to get quotes on window replacement. Cal Coast gave us the best price....... by a long shot. Not only did we get 17 high-quality Milgard Tuscany windows (with a classic Craftsman grid pattern) for a low price, but the customer service was great. JT was a knowledgeable sales rep who was super responsive, solutions-oriented, and professional but not pushy like other companies sales reps. Gary came out to take measurements and was excellent. The crew did an excellent job with removing some pretty damaged windows and frames and installing my new windows. Were really happy with the workmanship and the affordability, but most of all the customer service. I highly recommend JT and the crew at Cal Coast.

My project was delayed and they did a great job of being patient with me and helping me change window materials to better fit with the rest of our home and our budget. CalCoast replaced an original sliding glass door and 15 original gridded windows in our house, including several clerestory windows around and above doors. Sal at CalCoast did a great job working with us to finalize our window choices and give us an estimate that was spot-on. Our house is such a better living space now with those wonderful Milgard windows and door! We are absolutely thrilled with the results. The installation crew did a great job and took all the necessary social distancing precautions. We had a couple of cracked windows, so we called Cal Coast Window and Door to get them replaced. The room where we replaced these windows was previously very bright and hot, as it gets afternoon sun. After the replacement, the room is much cooler now since the windows are tinted and heat resistant. We also had a sliding glass door where the seal had failed, and boy are we glad we had them replace it. The failed glass we had been living with looked like a Petri dish. Now it is beautiful and slides smoothly like a sled over snow.

I highly recommend Cal Coast for your window and door needs. My experience with them was extremely positive, and seeing their average 4.9 star ranking, clearly Im not the only one that is impressed with their service. I purchased a set of windows and doors via a contractor that sadly didnt purchase from Cal Coast a couple of years ago. I also had a contractor-induced problem that needed to be rectified with said windows. I stopped by Cal Coast and they went well above and beyond my expectations to take care of me. Cal Coast just finished installing retrofit windows and new construction doors in my new home. I contacted them via their website and was contacted by the next day to set up an appointment to view my home and window needs. Sal was great; he explained my window options (retrofit or new construction) and the pros/cons of each. I asked a lot of questions and reviewed a lot of material about the Anlin windows that were suggested and Im very happy with my choice. During the whole process, Sal was always available for my questions and easy to get a hold of if needed. Koba and his installation team were wonderful, making sure I was happy with how the windows were installed and explaining how they had to cut away the stucco. They reinstalled new trim inside and outside and always asked how I wanted it completed before moving forward so nothing had to be redone. Koba showed me how to open and close my new large sliders and how to bolt them in place. Victor came out and stuccoed the new construction windows and even the spot were we removed a window. He made everything match my current stucco pattern. Im very happy with the entire process.

We had old, single pane windows in our townhouse that were causing our energy bill to go crazy during winter months. We called Cal Coast to help us get them replaced, and couldnt be happier with the results.Everyone we worked with throughout the process was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating - from the initial estimate, to ordering materials, scheduling the work, and doing the installation. Dave at Cal Coast Windows was a real pleasure to work with. We upgraded 4 old windows original to our 60s home. Wow what a difference the new Milgard windows made! Now that the nights are in the low 30s you can absolutely feel the massive difference new windows have made. The old windows seemed to amplify and radiate freezing cold air into the home, but these new windows shut that out and seal in the warmth indoors. Such a night and day difference!The installers were professional and proficient, and the new window molding is absolutely stunning.We have done many jobs around our new home since moving in, and when doing projects sometimes problems occur. We did have one issue during installation where the screens did not fit well for the upstairs window. Cal Coast immediately rectified the issue and had new screens installed quickly, no questions asked. It was clear to me that there was nothing that would stand in their way of providing 5 star service!If you are considering new windows, definitely contact Dave. Their pricing is competitive, their products offered are top quality, installation was excellent, and the service is second to none. We just had our seven windows and sliding door replaced by Cal Coast Window & Door. The bid process and replacement work could not have gone better. Personnel were on-time, kept us well informed, everyone was courteous and professional, and the work exemplary. The mitered corners for the new wood trim work on the inside and outside of the sliding door were done perfectly. After the work was completed in less than a day, all glass was thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and the work site was left in a cleaner state than when they arrived. The pricing was within a couple hundred dollars of the low bid, but was for the upgraded Milgard product line, not the lower quality Milgard line bid by the other companies. Cal Coast & Window knocked it out of the park! I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

We selected CCW to install Milgard Quietline windows after an extensive search for installers in late 2019. CCW was a certified Migard partner and came highly recommended. Our house was located a few blocks from the 680 freeway in Danville and the new windows eliminated ALL of the traffic noise. The timeline from ordering to final install took a while due to the long lead time from Milgard, but the wait was worth it. My wife and I were incredibly pleased with the final results. The entire team at CCW, including Rob, Tim, and Kalya were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Everyone at Cal Coast was tremendous. From the initial quote through the final check, top notch professionals.Santiago and Max were fantastic on site. They communicated clearly to set expectations on what was happening and how long they’d be on site each day. The two were respectful of the property and kept the site clean. Also, their work was excellently done. Especially the matching of the stucco texture, and attention to detail on the custom trim work. I had a great experience with Cal Coast Window & Door! They installed 18 Anlin Catalina windows and 1 Anlin Malibu sliding door. It is a significant upgrade for energy efficiency, sound reduction, and appearance, compared to the original windows that were more than 30 years old.JT was great to work with when getting a quote. I didn’t feel pressured, and he provided educational resources to help me learn about the various features and options. The quote was also significantly less than a quote from another vendor that used high pressure tactics.The installers were efficient and clean and even vacuumed the filters on my air purifiers! I covered my furniture with dust covers before installation, which made it easy to unpack afterwards. They also resolved multiple manufacturing issues (incorrect sizes and cracked glass) at no additional cost to me.

First of all, they gave me the most comprehensive estimate plans of my 5-window, 1 door replacements project among a dozen contractors I contacted. Then, they followed up with answering all the questions I had in timely manner. They consistently picked up my calls and texted me back. I was very impressed by that. I like to thank Cal Coast Windows and Door for the great job they did in replacing my windows and sliding door. I initially talked to Chris to get a quote. He came over, gave me different options, and explained the differences between windows. Their bid was competitive and fair. He was very responsive to get me updated quotes as I pushed this out for a bit. When I finally pulled the trigger, Manny and his team stopped and knocked it out in about 6-8 hours. We worked through some supply chain delays with the window manufacturer which was not in their control, and we appreciated Cal Coast’s diligence in following up with the manufacturer on ETA of product. Every encounter with the staff exceeded my expectations. The estimator, JT was so knowledgeable. He facilitated the warranty to replace two Milgard windows previously installed 15 years ago. The factory sent out their installer did a perfect job. The office staff was so flexible with the installation time and day. I had to reschedule a couple times no problem for them. Then Fernando and his crew installed a patio door and two windows upstairs. He consulted with me at each part of the installation. I am very impressed with his skills and communication. The installers were courteous and did a nice job protecting the house & cleaning up after each window. The other owner (Tim) stopped by a couple times during the job and completed a final walk through before the job ended.The biggest compliment I can give - is that we will use Cal Coast again for the windows on the backside of our house when were ready. JT was very professional and knowledgeable about replacing my old windows. He suggested that I get new construction windows as the previous windows I had were installed improperly. That was the smartest decision I made.I previously got a quote from Home Depot who suggested that I get retro-fit windows however after speaking with JT, he highly suggested otherwise as it would simply be a band aid to my window problem versus actually fixing the issue. Furthermore, after getting the Home Depot estimate, they quoted me almost the same price as getting new construction. So that made my decision even easier!When it came to installation, I had the pleasure of working with Juan and his team. Let me tell you, Juan and his team were extremely professional and courteous. Theyre craftsmanship was excellent and beautiful. I previously remodeled my house and know what great craftsmanship vs lackluster craftsmanship is and I assure you, Juan and his team did a phenomenal job.Everyday after each installation, Juan and his team would make sure to clean up after their mess and make my house cleaner than the day before. In September 2022, an order for windows was placed with Cal Coast Windows and Doors. On November 30th, the windows were installed. My wife and I could not be happier. The product is as advertised, the estimator/sales staff, Chris, was right on time when meeting us and provided very good information regarding the window selection, and, in my case, the company price matched a competitors bid.The information provided by Chris and staff was right on point to include the delivery timeline of the windows.The installation team was the best and did an excellent job in removing the old windows and replacing them with the new - I purchased new construction window instead of the replacements. The replacement was no small feat, and when we finish the painting of the trim, nobody will know there had been a window replacement. I would like to cheer on Cal Coast Window & Door Pleasanton!Our project involved 34 windows installations and 2 patio doors. Our home had the original, 44-year-old black, aluminum-framed windows which were not very efficient in terms of temperature isolation.JT Godby, the sales rep came by our house for a free consultation. JT was professional, showed us the alternatives, and gave his insights. He was on time giving us a quote, and we also came to the showroom in Pleasanton so we could make final decisions on the patio door handles, and glass type in some of the rooms. Their offer was also relatively attractive compared to the other options that we checked.We got Anlins white vinyl retrofit windows across our 2-story home in Livermore. After accurate measurements, the windows were ordered and were ready in the time they estimated.I had some schedule limitations and JT was able to squeeze us in to get the installation in time.Josh, Amir and Justins installation team was really awesome! They spent 5 whole days working on our windows project. They were professional, kind, and with a really nice, positive attitude! They also had a great music playlist :-)They worked neat, cleaned after them, and hauled away all the debris. I was debating about replacing my windows and was shopping around for a company to do the job. By luck, I came across cal coast window and door. I’m so Thankful I went with them. The entire process was straightforward and their communication style is superb. I’m a huge germ freak and have newborns so I was worried about the dust and also having booties be worn during the project. Lorna was VERY communicative and made sure to communicate my concerns to Manny (my window replacement specialist). Lorna updated me every step of the way to make sure I was aware of what to expect and any changes. Manny and his crew showed up and got the job done much quicker than expected. Manny and his crew was super respectful of my concerns and made sure to tape off my baby room so that the debris didn’t affect them. We Contacted Rob and the Team to help us retrofit 5 windows and install a new window . They came in a couple of times to give us a quote and were very responsive during this process. They were upfront on what needs to be done and what couldnt. The Job was completed with a slight delay with no issues. The Windows were in good condition. The Crew was very professional and clean. They also moved an electrical outlet and competed the stucco work. They informed us beforehand that painting would not be included. In early 2020, I needed some insight on Milgard windows for our bathroom remodel and went to Cal Coast as it was listed on Milgard’s website. Sal was very willing to assist me even though we already had a contractor who would be getting our window else where and he knew that! Because of his service, I reached out again earlier this year once we were ready to replace all of the windows in our home. Sal had great communication (I ask too many questions) and worked us out a really good deal.Finally our installation came around. Cal Coast sent out Marco and his crew who all were extremely understanding and polite in regard to the direction we needed the windows to be installed due to having 2 little ones and 2 dogs that we had to move around with each day. As mentioned, we had some other work done earlier this year and we’ve had much experience working with home renovations and different construction crews. Marco’s was by far the most quietest. I was shocked! Maybe windows replacements don’t make a lot of sound but I really appreciated their cleanliness, communication and agility. 10 windows (including 1 very large window and 1 garden window) and a massive patio door took them 4 days including the trimming and stucco (windows actually finished in 3 days, stucco needed a 4th). So impressed! I highly recommend Cal Coast and would go back if we needed to.Update 2 months later: We had a few minor hiccups here and there which is inevitable with any large job and it does require following up and having someone come back out to fix the issues. In our experience, when this happens, we get so unlucky because its like the business fell of the face of the earth. Communication is either nonexistent or extremely hard to get a hold of. I am happy to say it was not like that at all with Cal Coast. Shawn with the team kept constant communication and followed up periodically to make sure we were set until we were 100% satisfied. Summary: honest and thorough estimate with the most competitive pricing and the friendliest, hardest working crew Ive seenRob came out to estimate replacement windows in our house and in my in-laws recently purchased house across the street + sliding glass doors and was able to get things measured quickly. He pointed out mold on the old aluminum frame windows at my in-laws place, recommending new construction rather than retrofit windows. Also, Cal Coast was the only place that offered full in-house service to not only replace the sliding glass doors, but also expand the opening (including framing, moving electrical, patching, etc.) so we could install larger glass doors. Rob was friendly and thorough, and I really appreciated his straightforward desire to be integrous demonstrated by his workers comp certificate. As we were looking to move quickly with our decision, it was awesome to have Rob whip out his laptop, punch in the window and door dimensions, immediately quote me an exact price and email me the estimate on the spot. On top of that, when Rob and I discussed ways to stay within our planned budget, he was not pushy at all, providing a few different options (combinations of new construction vs. retrofit, different Milgard lines at various price points), which was really helpful.I felt very comfortable with Rob and had no doubt that he and his team would deliver an excellent service and product, but I wanted to see where the other estimates ended up. I was actually a bit surprised that their estimate was the most competitive and the easiest for us (to not have to hire separate contractors for the expanded door framing, electrical, and door installation), so it was a pretty easy decision to move forward with Cal Coast. Tim came by to get final measurements, and he was also very friendly, professional and easy to work with.I worked with Patricia and Kayla to schedule the estimate and installations. They were both super friendly and helpful. I loved that I was receiving email confirmations immediately after or even while on the phone. Manny and Manuel arrived early the first day of installation and were punctual about their arrival times but stayed late a few days. Im not exaggerating when I say they are some of the hardest working guys Ive seen. They were very conscientious about moving our furniture and putting down drop cloths to protect our home interior. They were considerate of our friendly but sometimes nosy dog, making sure to shut the door so she couldnt run into the street. The windows were installed impeccably with the project finishing a full day earlier than anticipated due to the considerable effort by Manny, Manuel and another crew member. Clean-up was super thorough as well.Communication with Manny was always super pleasant and clear. He let me know that since they needed to move the exterior light while expanding the sliding glass door opening, if I could provide a new light, he was happy to install the new one. All of the windows and doors were installed exactly as agreed, and I couldnt be happier with my experience working with everyone at Cal Coast Window & Door. The only negative thing I want to point out (and this is true for most window installations) is that the blinds were not re-installed after the windows were finished. Some of the caulking was still wet, and a few of the plastic valance clips were broken, but $5 on Amazon and a Youtube tutorial equipped me to replace the broken valance clips and put the blinds back after everything had dried. I pulled the owner permits myself, and the inspector finaled the windows during a ~10 minute inspection without any issues (make sure to keep your window stickers for the inspection!).

These guys were great, we replaced 9 windows in our house in SF. There were a couple challenges that we had and Cal Coast and the team was flexible, professional and really helped make windows replacement smooth. The first one was the building department in SF have several aesthetic rules that are mandated in order to get a permit. In our case the windows facing the street must have ogee lugs. Which is this little wooden piece that is barely noticeable, Long story short, the team at Cal Coast gave me 3 different options to present to the city to get approval for a permit, which helped get over that challenge. The second challenge was there was some damage to the house from a leaky window. They went above and beyond to repair that damage to the window which the exterior looks great. Also these repairs and window replacement was completed on the first day construction was allowed during the shelter in place order. The installers that came wore masks, practiced social distancing, wore booties over shoes and it was handled very well considering the times and that we were all at home. They didnt leave any trace of trash, dust or construction debris. Took all of the old windows with them. it was a good experience and were really happy with the results.

Based on neighbors high satisfaction, I also chose Cal Coast for new Milgard bedroom windows - didnt bother getting other bids because of high quality installation by experienced professional workmen. I had 2 teams: father/son Marco&Alex for interior/exterior window tear out/install; then Victor/Jesus for exterior stucco/cement work around windows. These work teams pay attention to detail & noticed previous water damage & repaired it. CalCoast doesnt cut corners, followed building inspectors suggestion to use quick dry/better quality cement.Neat & cleaned up all debris indoors/outdoors.Office staff (Mgr David S., Lorna, Gary, owner Rob replied promptly to questions/close communication/explained construction process/compliance to building codes.
