Sean was my technician today. If I could give more then 5 stars, I absolutely would. He came prepared with estimates for a new unit (the last tune up I had I mentioned to the tech that we would be wanting to replace this unit soon). He read those notes before my appointment and came fully prepared with all of the information and pricing we would need. He finished the A/C service quickly and efficiently. Sean was extremely professional and polite. I can not recommend Cabs Heating and Air enough! Best customer service and techs in the industry!!!!

Peter was very thorough and answered all our questions, and gave us several options to replace our old HVAC with a new high efficiency heat pump. He explained everything in detail and was very accommodating to our needs. Amazing customer service, reliable and honest, and very upfront about pros and cons of different solutions. Highly recommend him and his company.

I chose CABS because they were listed on SMUD’s website, had the best reviews on Google and their pricing is fair. First their electrician came out to install an EV car charger in the garage. Then this month the circuit breaker kept tripping and cutting power to my AC unit. They were able to send Alex, their electrician, the next morning. After running some tests he diagnosed the issue and replaced a part in the fuse box right away. Everyone at this company has been very nice, accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable.

I’ve been reading the reviews on CABS and I’m not surprised to see unhappy customers. Peter the owner is a dishonest man. I look at their company as sheep’s in wolfs clothing. They can talk good customer service, but no follow through, but they will beat you with how did we do email, but when you have an issue the emails will stop and when they come for service appointments they do not give written services request. I have asked for written service request report findings and have not receive one nor a reply to my request. I have an issue with the Trane unit they installed. It has a hard turn on and off and it’s loud when using the cooling system. Peter came out for a service call heard the noise made mention that it was loud... He told me that he would get ahold of the manufacture and let them know that the customer has a complaint. I ask him why he don’t tell them the reason instead of a complaining customer. He stated nothing is wrong with the unit that I purchased a KIA and want it to run like a Mercedes that he would not have sold me the unit. I told him his company sold me the unit and he stated Ronnie sold me the unit.Ronnie and what they called was a Trane representative name Aaron came to my house November 7, 2023. They ran extensive test on the unit and made some modifications and informed me prior to leaving that the test would be going to the office and the results will be sent to CABS within a matter of 2 days. It’s going on 3 weeks, I have not received a call regarding the test other than me calling and asking and was finally told that I will get the results when they get them. I want to know who Aaron work for, was he a Trane rep, he had no business card, business car, truck… who did they bring into my home. I gave Ronnie a 5star for his service visit, but he failed to follow-up with a call regarding the test results and failed to reply to my request to put the modifications and updates requested by the Rep in writing.My CO alarm went off and I thought it was the HVAC unit but it was a faulty CO monitor. The CO monitor was still the old monitor and the two smoke detectors are still the old ones without batteries. I just knew CABS had changed then out. I let them know about the monitors and was told that” our company has followed all HVAC guidelines and passed the city inspection”I had reservation about this company because I used them to install my addict installation and the staff that installed was dishonest. Prior to CAB staff showing up I was removing some trash from the addict that was left behind from the room install. I was still removing it when they showed up. They informed me that they would remove the trash, not to worry. They left the trash addict along with the old addict door that they replaced and covered it with insulation. The wife of Peter came out and changed my mind about the company. But like I said wolfs in sheep’s clothing.Also when they installed the Trane HVAC they had a Technician that had been working with them for two months. He was the one checking the registers and installing the drain line on the roof. He not only failed to install properly he laid one of the registers on my wood/glass dining table and put a half inch cut through the wood. Never said he was sorry or anything. Peter said he would replace it but never made a move.Cabs has agreed to remove the unit but only if I sign a legal dococument signing my rights away and if I remove my reviews. CABS refused to service the unit so Im without a HVAC for this summer heat due to the damage Cabs caused to the live wire whitch CABS states was out of their scope of work during the new install. The unit can not handle the heat. It gets louder and louder as it runs but when it gets hot it trips the HVAC braker due to the damaged elecctrical wire.I do not recommend this company

My experience started with Kat helping me with setting an appointment with Sean and Eric the next day. She was very professional, kind and helpful in getting the guys out to my house right away. Sean and Eric were right on time, very professional and knowledgeable with everything I had questions on. They answered all my questions and gave me all the options that was right for my house. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent company from the initial start to finish. All the staff were very professional, polite and answered all my questions. They came highly recommended by two family members who had used them and I was not disappointed. The installers worked very hard and consistently to complete the work. Everything was left clean. Very satisfied with the job. I will highly recommend them to my neighbors.

This is the second time we have gotten services from CABS, my AC went out a few days ago, just as the weather is heating up, I called today and requested a Tech come do a diagnostic. I was told they would be here the next day … I missed a few calls, and they were actually at my house the same day which was PERFECT since temps are hitting 3 digits. Adrian fixed the issue and showed us what the issue was. We signed up to be members. Then Asia (phone rep who scheduled us) called to follow up which I thought was very thoughtful of the company. I was very impressed with the service I received today. Michael was professional, courteous and very thorough. In addition, he was patient when I inquired about what service I would need to resolve my AC issue. He took the time to explain everything. I was quite impressed with his knowledge!

Michael did a great job of keeping my hvac tuned up for best ac/heat. He is knowledgable, and did an indepth analysis of my system. Some things will need replaced but he honestly said I could wait till they go out. I appreciated his honesty and am happy with his service and with CABS. They have taken care of my HVAC needs.
