This is one of the most beautiful campuses I have ever been on. It is quite hilly and large too, with so many elevation changes that stairs and elevators are a way of life here. Student parking can be a bit far from class sometimes, since priority was given to foot/ bike travel when this place was built.This community college has many program choices, focusing on STEAM, dental and nursing, with a budding horticulture program that is well worth a visit + a construction program that prepares students for estimating and project management. They run on a semester system.One can simply achieve their standard Associates degree here, e.g. business, liberal arts, etc. or, go after one of the concentration programs. A visit with an academic counselor will help sort that out.The cafeteria offers a few culinary options, such as an internal taqueria station, prepackaged sushi rolls and salads, fresh fruits, a salad bar and regular diner-style foods. There is an over priced cafe in the main quad area, with often sassy workers. Follow the sound of a playlist blasting from a Bluetooth speaker to find it.The culture is very liberal, which can be supportive but exhausting when everyone needs to be a victim that needs to be heard. The campus resources are hit or miss; the NEST is almost worthless, the accessibility center is extremely helpful, the tutoring HUB is a grade-saver when some class subjects are difficult to grasp alone, the bike co-op is a nice idea but doesnt get a lot of use, the veteran support seemed a little lacking, EOPS is very helpful, Guardian Scholars is supportive. There is a daycare center onsite, so parents of little ones have no excuse. There are more, I just cant remember them all. The campus bookstore is recently shutdown, so now all textbook orders are handled online. Not sure I like that part.Ultimately, this is a beautiful place to spend ones day learning and building long lasting skills, networks and friendships.

I have earned several degrees from Cabrillo College over the last 25 years, and I loved almost every class I attended there. The staff, teachers, and students are amazing overall. I also worked there for a number of years. I attended other universities and got my bachelors, but Cabrillo was my favorite college by far. The campus is beautiful and tranquil. Cabrillo College helped me get through the CZU fire, and other disasters and tragedies in my life. They have always been there for me. I am a Seahawk for life!

I went here for three years. Cabrillo’s classes and great professors helped me prepare to transfer to a UC, and for that I’m very grateful! I didn’t have much contact with the counseling department and found my own research for transferring to be far more helpful. The ASC (accessibility support center) was very helpful for my accommodation needs. Reasonable tuition prices. It is a campus where everyone pretty much does their own thing, but I liked it here.

An incredible school. I can only vouch for their STEM department, which is incredible. Infect, people from other colleges often dual enrol with Cabrillo just to do their STEM courses there. Theres plenty of resource on-campus to help you as a student succeed. The college has just about every course youd need to be able to successfully transfer to wherever you want, with high quality education to boot. The school has a great reputation all across California.

Accessible, caring, helpful, committed, community are some of the keywords that come first to mind when thinking of my experience here. I am back in school after nearly 10 years of absence and its great learning again in a supportive environment. Ivy league education for commune prices. Antiracist playful educators. Clean, thank facilities. Safe, thank the Sherrifs. Good food in the cafeteria too. Service dogs, silliness, and differently abled people are welcome here. I put this review up back in November but it ended up under the tennis courts. One star lost for lack of housing, barely any RV/large vehicles parking, and no RV tank dump/water fill for homeless students.

Cabrillo has a beautiful and easily accessible campus with good biking, driving and bus options right at the welcome center steps.I’ve been taking classes here for various programs for 3 years now. Every staff member I have interacted with has been helpful, kind and knowledgeable!There are so many wonderful classes and great professors!Cabrillo is so much cheaper than a big university and offers excellent transfer opportunities!I definitely recommend looking at rate my professor when choosing classes as not every professor is incredible, however, I have never met a bad one.

This is where I did the bulk of my art training. The school is affordable. The teachers are very committed. The Gallery is lovely and has wonderful exhibits that are not only showing student work. I am so grateful for Cabrillo College!

Ive attended two universities and this junior college. This junior college was the best college I ever attended. Just as satisfying and challenging as any state college. This is my second home, the reason for me finding work, and has supported me in every way imaginable.

Best junior college in the state. Beautiful campus minutes away from the beach. Cheap tuition, lots of new buildings, fantastic sports teams and the perfect year round weather
