Butte Home Health and Hospices exceptional care for my mom went well beyond medical attention. They embodied a profound commitment to her holistic well-being, and provided support for the whole family. From the moment Mom entered their care, a team of dedicated professionals enveloped her in compassion and expertise, ensuring every aspect of her journey was met with sensitivity and understanding. Their unwavering dedication to her comfort and dignity became evident in the meticulous attention to detail, whether it was managing her pain or fostering an environment of emotional support and tranquility for mom, and the whole family.Beyond the clinical realm, the hospice staff was there every step of the way. They provided everything we thought we needed, and more. As her daughter, I anticipated they would help care for my dear mother. I did not anticipate the care they provided me. From the person who answered the phone to the person who showed up at the door, I was always met with patience, understanding and genuine desire to help.Hospices unwavering support extended to my entire family, offering guidance and comfort as we navigated this deeply emotional journey. Hospice recognized the connection between moms well-being with the well-being of those who loved her,. Hospice provided invaluable resources and counseling to help us cope with the grief and pain from mom’s passing. My mom wished to pass at home, with family surrounding her. Without Hospice, we could not have honored her final wish.Thank you Butte Home Health and Hospice!

I wanted to say that the care that my father-in-law received both prior to and while in hospice was exceptional. This grumpy old man was very wary about in-home care - hed had a less than wonderful experience with skilled nursing facilities. Not only did each nurse and home health aide listen to him, they put his mind at ease and he actually enjoyed their visits. Nurse Jordan knew exactly how to get him to relax and even joke with her. The 2 different health aides that came to bathe him made him feel wonderful, too. He passed in our home on Christmas Day and the nurse who came out (sorry, most names are all a blur) treated him with such respect and tender care and we are so grateful. I also wanted to say that everyone at Butte Home & Hospice listened and addressed all of our questions, no matter the day or time we called. We truly cant thank them all enough!

Butte Home Health Is amazing. We had their nurses take care of my grandmother and they were phenomenal. The office staff is very helpful and kind. If you want your family taken care of like they are supposed to be, call Butte Home Health.

Working for Butte Home Health was a great pleasure. If it wasn’t for my geographical location I’d still be there. They are organized and very professional and treated me with nothing but respect. With a job that requires a lot of autonomy I always felt very supported by all staff members. The schedule is very flexible and they will work with you if you have a hectic one. They tend to their patients needs with care and precision. I was always told by my patients how pleased they were that we were able to be their for them in such a trying time. A Great place to work and a great place to receive care.

I would highly recommend this organization to a friend or a family member! Butte Home Health and Hospice is by far one of the best companies I have been employed. I enjoyed working here so much I extended my travel contract 3 different times! Rob and Corrie truly care about the employees and are always dependable. Under their leadership, it was an incredibly positive environment where I felt I could truly perform at my highest potential. I’ve witnessed the growth in this company and I foresee it continuing to thrive and improve in the future.

I strongly support Butte Home Health and Hospices work. The management team truly values each patient and family served and the clinicians value the care they can provide to those patients. The company thrives on being a tight knit group to provide the best care for their patients and they aspire to continue to learn and grow by looking inward at how they can improve current workflows, analyzing the most up-to-date research and thoughts from other organizations, as well as taking in feedback from former patients and family members.

I interned here for the intake department and had the opportunity to also shadow the home health and hospice nurses in the field. I also worked with the executive director Robert Love and the director of operations Corrie Logan. Such kind-hearted and driven people! I owe it to my mentor Shay, in the intake department who took me under her wing and taught me everything I know. The sweetest person ever.I had such a great experience here. Let me tell you, the work culture here is AMAZING! The entire office is full of compassionate healthcare workers who love their job and the environment is welcoming and everyone is happy to be there. Patient satisfaction? Amazing as well. The nurses Janice (in home health) and Pia (in hospice) are so hardworking and compassionate. The healthcare workers at Butte Home Health & Hospice want to see their patients thrive and want to be there in the process of developing the best plan of care for their patients. I have never been apart of such an amazing organization. They really do treat their employees and interns! There are weekly Grab-And-Gos and we get treated with Panera, Taco-Trucks, Pizza, and more!

I have worked for Butte Home Health and Hospice for 27 years now. Some of my loved ones have been on services for Home Health and Hospice. There is always changes going on in the world, but the one constant is the way our staff take care of our patients and the caregivers. So many times I see a staff member go above and beyond to meet a patient and caregiver need. Way to Butte Home Health and Hospice. It is great working for such a great group of people.

The last few months have been challenging to say the very least and without the support of everyone at Butte Home Health & Hospice, I have no idea how I would have made it through. The selfless, loving, care given to my father, the support, and advocacy for my dads comfort - I am forever grateful. From the nurses to the Chaplain, and the Social Worker, I always felt heard, comforted, and cared for just as much as you all comforted and cared for my dad.Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have worked for Butte Home Health and Hospice since 2016. I love my job as a hospice nurse and feel I have found my calling. The best part of my job is getting to know the patients and their families and helping to guide them through a challenging transition with some sense of peace and comfort.

The staff at Butte Home Health have been amazing. My mother was on Hospice care for 2 months last year; all of the nursing and support staff were caring, attentive, helpful, whether it was a wellness check, assisting with personal care (shower and bathing), coordinating supplies (hospital bed, portable commode, etc) or counseling. I was also her primary caregiver for a few weeks, and their support to me during that time was invaluable. Talking me thru the process of dying and grieving, what I could expect to happen, returning calls late at night for assistance. And following up on my mental health even 6 months after my moms passing. They are truly wonderful people, and I cannot say enough good things about them.

Easy to communicate and coordinate with other disciplines to discuss and schedule patients. Company is very invested in their employees, always ensuring the staff is taken care of. I have had personal experience with Butte Home Health and Hospice: with my mother-in-laws passing, my fathers passing, and most recently with my mothers almost passing.These hospice workers and angels in real life. More specifically, they were with us in crisis, helping us make sense of end of life, providing in come practical care, and a friend to cry with.May the Lord bless these messengers of hope and grace.

5 star rating from a physical therapist.I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and medical contractor of 5 years. I have traveled for 4 of those years and have worked at 3-4 facilities per year. Butte Home Health is my favorite out of all of them and is the only place I have worked my max of 1 year as a traveler.The main two reasons are the companys priority of patient care/satisfaction and employee satisfaction. These are reflected in a few ways -- First is continuity of care with the same clinician/s. This means less confusion and more familiar faces throughout the day and is a huge impact on both mine and the patients preference. Two, is decreased productivity which means I can actually spend up to an hour with my patients vs a rushed 20 minutes. This is huge for those patients with CHF or Stroke that need more time for extra education and more rest between working exercises. Finally, there is no pressure from management for only 3 visits per patient. Many HH agencies are putting an internal visit cap on the amount we can see a patient in order to make a massive profit after the recent Medicare payment changes in 2020. Butte Home Health is one of the few agencies that does not limit their clinicians and I believe this is reflected in their customer service reviews (some areas in the Medicare report are 100% which is absolutely unheard of).BHH is an excellent company and I feel this really shows in the care for this patient population. This area treats patients a decade older than the national average and are very sick compared to the other areas I have worked. They are medically complicated and challenged me as a clinician with many dynamic and moving parts within the patients needs. Because of this, I dont recommend this area to a burned-out clinician, or a clinician that is not ready to be challenged and to grow within their career.BHH is a small and growing team with a strong family feel. It is a non-profit agency bringing advanced business ideas (like the tech industry) into healthcare. I never felt like an outsider and was very welcomed at the weekly/celebratory meals. If you like the small team feel with strong accountability and absence of micro-management -- you will love it here as a worker. This is also why I would recommend any patient in need of Home Health to BHH because of the strong team dynamic. If my family lived here, this is where I would send my parents and grandparents.

Exceptional quality service and support. The staff is amazing. They took excellent care of my mother in her last days. She was beyond pleased with the loving and professional support she got. Terra is amazing. She stayed connected with me for grief counseling.I am currently attending Terras grief group with 6 others. We all commented last meeting how much we have all benefited from this group.

Butte Home Health and Hospice was awesome! I am not just saying this because my wife is a nurse there.A couple months ago my stepmom was placed on hospice services. The staff that came to our house were always caring and wanting to know if they could do anything for us. They would ask the same question again when they left.The nurses, therapists and aides genuinely cared for my stepmom and us as well. Every time they would come to the house they would take a minute to say hi and talk to our little ones. They were all just amazing and beyond helpful. Always giving us the honest truth in letting us know what was happening or going to happen. Always asking if we needed anything else from them before they leave.The social worker was always caring and making sure we didn’t get care giver burnout. Always letting us know of things we could do or try differently. She was always sweet when she talked to my stepmom. You can see that she truly loves her job.The chaplain we were a little hesitant on at first when they said one would be coming out Turns out he wasn’t so bad. He got to really know a little more about my stepmom and our family.Hospice is more than what people think and it helped my stepmom to be able to stay at home surrounded by her family every day. We are all so grateful for Bitte Home Health and Hospice and the wonderful staff they have and I can’t thank them all enough!

This organization is such a blessing in our community! They care for their staff almost as good as they care for their patients. They are adaptable, flexible (even during a pandemic) and always have the patients best interest at the core of all decision making. I have seen first hand the positive impact they have on so many families in butte, glenn and colusa counties!
