I just finished my training with Rufus, we went over many important things about being a Notary Public. Despite the fact that I am a Notary Public in a different state and Rufus being a Notary Public in the Los Angeles we shared many different experiences regarding Notary Public work and he gave me much insight. Before finding Rufus on YouTube, my brother and I were struggling for months trying to figure out how to find a notary in the L.A. area that spoke French. The French Consulate in Los Angeles explained to me that if I needed to complete paperwork urgently, I should consider Californias Apostille program where you dont HAVE to find someone who speaks the language the official document is written in as long as it is notarized correctly by a qualified Notary and gets a stamp of approval from the Secretary of State Office to certify that the document is legitimate and legally valid in the country it needs to be sent to.Since YouTube has the answers to every question you could ever ask - with real experts explaining what they specialize in doing - so I searched the words Apostille Notary Los Angeles and immediately found Rufus YouYube channel and his videos explaining how he routinely sees people at the Secretary of States office in Downtown L.A. that get denied the stamp/seal of approval for a multitude of reasons and for anyone needing help with the process to call his personal cell phone number. I called him to set up a meeting with my brother and I in Downtown L.A. last month and we were able to get our paperwork notarized and immediately approved by the Secretary of States Office. It was such a huge relief to get everything done in less than an hour! Rufus services were executed professionally and promptly. He is punctual, professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of all things Apostille related (including the different laws, rules, and exceptions for different legal/common documents). He is a great communicator and even printed out the documents I emailed him before our meeting! I was having problems with getting my documents notarized at a different notary who then referred me to Rufus. Rufus was very knowledgeable with notarizing my legal documents from a foreign country. Due to an error by our legal advisor, I got late notice that the notary services were not needed after all. Rufus is a gem within the notary community. I am a newer notary, soaking up all of the information and knowledge I can find. I was scrolling on Tik Tok and came across his videos. He is straight forward, honest and always informative. What I really like about Rufus is the fact that he isnt going to give you any fluff or waste your time. I took his Apostille Course and it was nothing but simple and informative. All 90 minutes were packed with everything I was wondering, and every question I had was answered before I could even ask it. I needed a document notarized in order to get a new birth certificate so I called this place and spoke with Rufus, the business owner/notary, and scheduled an appointment that same day. Got there and signed my documents in his presence as was mandatory, had a little chit chat, paid $15 cash for the service and was on my way. I wanted to look for a service that would do Apostille and most of them are mobile. Mobile service charge is based on distance and time of service for which may or may not be a good idea when it comes to doing Apostille. Ive decided to go with a brick and mortar store instead, which I think is a better option, as you do not need to worry about paying extra if you exceed a time limit.The service given at Bulldog Notary & Apostille was excellent. Rufus made sure everything was written down correctly and every step was followed. Just be aware that when doing Apostille, the document must also be notarized. Its a good thing I was already at the Notary, very convenient.Another thing that I like about Bulldog Notary & Apostille is that they can receive your document(s) on a return service and hold it for you. As in my example, Ill be out of the country during the return mail and wont be able to receive it. Im unsure if Mobile Notary/Apostille charges extra for that or even offers that service.I would like to also mention, since I wanted to send out the document through FedEx, Rufus made a phone call to see how long that process would take (after Ive already left the store). He was told 5-6 weeks so he actually went to Downtown L.A. and dropped off the document at the satellite office, which would be quicker. I went to Bulldog Investigations in los Angeles Off E. Garvey Ave. I needed an investigation because I was applying to Sun Clinical Laboratory and Sun Imaging. I met with Ed over at Bulldog Investigations and I asked him to search for information about legal, financial, and personal matters regarding my future employment. Ed told me that A private investigator has several different names often abbreviated to PI and informally called a private eye, a private detective, or inquiry agent. Private investigators often work for attorneys in civil and criminal cases but in this case I just needed a Private investigator before I applied for this job at Sun Clinical Laboratory here in los Angeles.
