Incredible selection of books, guides, info and anything you can think of for the entire building industry. Architecture, Contractors, electricians, landscapers, inspectors, literally everyone who is in it wants to more about construction can find useful resources here. I was surprised by the quantity of stocked items for learners and experienced veterans of any trade alike.The staff was friendly and quite knowledgeable and helpful to me while I was looking for recommendations and suggestions for books. I am new contractor with a growing business and I was looking to expand my horizons and get an edge over my peers. The attitude and work I will have to put in, but the information is definitely all available in this quaint little place on Canoga.Would recommend. Even for DIYers and homeowners looking for professional info and books. 👍🏼

I purchased lots of material from various Internet suppliers, and your company is excellent. Last week I tried purchasing from another Internet supplier for materials you carried. They seem better because their prices were pretty low so I placed an order for about $1200. Then I contacted them to give them my tax exempt resale certificate, but they wouldn’t take it and wanted to charge me sales tax. When I questioned them, they canceled my order, but didn’t tell me? I figured it out a week later and asked if I could re-order the material and pay for the sales tax as well. They told me to take my business elsewhere and I am so glad they did. They also didn’t have the telephone number, nor would they call me back, but only would email me. I called your company, the girl answered immediately, and helped me on the spot and told me to send a list of materials I needed, then gave me a discount and did not charge me sales tax after providing my tax exempt resale certificate. Your company did everything right. More companies need to learn from you.

I am very thankful with Paul Lucente and the Builders Book store for their study guide books. I just went to take the Law and Business exam and C-54 trade exam and I passed both of them on my first try. Without the books and audios I bought from the Builders Book store, it wouldnt have been possible to pass the exams. I highly recommend them.

Ordered the Quickpass California Contractors License Law and Business exam study guide, and found the information was out dated and incorrect (min wage $8 and lots of other incorrect info). They wont refund me. Offered to send me an updated version when it becomes available. Not happy. Had to spend another couple hundred dollars on a course from a different company. Dont waste your money.

The owners of the store has the most extensive library of construction trades, architectural and building codes books and related materials to mention a just a small portion of the store. I have done business with this store for more than 12 years and I refer people to this store when ever I can. The owner has good suggestions and has saved me a lot of money in the past. I feel a debt of gratitude and will continue to shop there when ever I need building code materials.

This place is amazing for anyone try to study get knowledge of almost anything in building landscaping masonry etc. This place from what I saw has every trade possible. Study guides videos . You got to check it out for yourself

Have just about every Engineering code book you would ever need. The employee here was super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back here when I need yo buy a updated Engineering coee book
