Cannot thank Buckley Heating and Air enough. I wanted a second opinion on my home unit which had caught fire as I was told, and was referred to Buckley’s. I was called within an hour of them opening after receiving my message, and they had someone dispatched by around noon the same day. They had my unit fixed and parts on order for further job completion and saved me what I had thought would be a miserable 3 weeks without AC. My two year old can sleep comfortably, and they saved me money and so much stress by being honest, upfront, knowledgeable and sincere in truly doing what’s best for the costumer without compromising safety. They have now gained a customer for life, I asked about maintenance programs and was happy to sign up for 3 years. I highly recommend them, and will be referring them to anyone I know who could use their help.I had the pleasure today of working with Lori and Jake and they are both top notch in service, knowledge and kindness. Got a few quotes from different HVAC installers, and went with Buckley due to the time they spent to understand my needs and build options that matched. There was no pressure to add any upgrades to the system I wanted, just a great experience all around. Ive had my system for over a year now, and the annual inspection they provided was excellent as well. Ive recommended Buckley to anyone looking for a new system.

We have been using Buckley Heat Air for over two years for our HVAC maintenance in Citrus Heights. Our preferred tech is Johnny Velasquez and he is very knowledgeable, provides great advice, and options for our aging system. Johnny Velasquez is able to address and resolve this issue. Their annual maintenance contract is definitely recommended. While giving peace of mind with a full system check, it also discounts any repairs that are needed.

Both highly professional and personable. My condenser broke down, Jake and his tech were both our trying to figure out a way to get a little more life into it to no avail. We had to get a new system and he gave us an honest price with duct work and some adjustments to the filter. He was able to get it installed for us a few days later and even though there were some more difficulties he couldnt foresee they didnt come back and gouge us for extra money. Instead he stuck by his price and take care of everything.We really appreciate such a fine service, especially going into the heat of summer.

I highly recommend this company. They are so honest and skilled. A truly rare quality to find in any industry. They also knew exactly what to do. This was my third try at getting something fixed. I got prices anywhere from 1000 to 2000 and it was a misdiagnosis. Benjamin was the one who came out and he is incredible. He fixed it for around $200. It was not a motherboard as the other people were saying. It was faulty wiring. The other companies were either clueless or wanted to make money or both Benjamin was neither. He knows Heating And Air, and he is honest. This was my second time of using them. The first time was just as good, but that was at my car wash. I will not use anyone other than these people

Called for an appointment to check house furnace malfunctioning. Tech arrived next day and replaced inoperative gas control valve. Took about 1.5 hours and system now works normally. I had them replace an old failing HVAC system with a U.S.A. made highly rated Trane heat pump. They also recommend replacing ductwork that was leaking which I had them do. Couldn’t be happier. Buckley Heat Air Solar performed an excellent job when my out-dated heat pump needed a new unit. My old unit was many years beyond the warranty. Jake Buckley showed me that if they fixed the old unit, that it would likely fail again within a year (so that would be money lost).There was no pressure to install the new unit. Jake Buckley simply showcased the mathematics of the replacement cost. My new unit would cost about $10,000 to install, and the heat pump would receive an affordable loan from S.M.U.D., the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. My monthly payment is only about $125.00, and there is no pre-payment penalty. SMUD wants their residential customers to have modern high-efficiency units that use less electricity. This is a win-win situation.My SMUD load was approved immediately with minimal paperwork.Buckley quickly obtained a building permit from Sacramento County, so the installation was legal. The new high-efficiency heat pump was installed in one day by 5 very experienced Buckley crewmen. My old unit was taken away to be recycled and melted-down by a separate vendor who specializes in these HVAC units.A week later, the Sacramento County Building Inspector arrived, and checked everything carefully. He knew and respected Buckley as a professional HVAC contractor, so the county inspection went well.My new heat-pump was installed in late-September, which is the off-season in Autumn during favorable weather. Do not wait for bitter cold of Winter, or burning heat of Summer for your HVAC unit to fail. Cleverly use the Autumn or Spring seasons to make an upgrade. Buckley was able to give me a large financial discount for a fair-weather installation in Autumn. In that manner, they can keep their experienced crews fully employed year-around, including the off-seasons.My detailed report is meant to back-up the my reason for giving Buckley a 5-Star rating. They have been my HVAC contractors for 31 years, and we have a respected professional history.

Back in March, we started getting estimates on HVAC systems. We knew we needed to get it done ahead of summer. We had four companies come out and bid. Kenny from Buckley Heat Air & Solar was the only guy out of the four who actually interviewed us to determine how our old system performed (or rather underperformed), what we were looking for from a new system, etc. He spent significant time in the attic, and when he finished he had several suggestions for duct work revisions that he felt would increase our satisfaction with our new system and would not cost a lot. The other 3 estimates were varying degrees of disappointing, with one company not even bothering to looking in the attic or at the unit outside before telling us which system we should buy. Another representative told us some things which sounded false, and upon doing minimal investigation online, were easily verified as incorrect.Buckley was not the lowest bid, but we definitely felt the most comfortable with them, so we went forward with Kennys proposal. We have not been disappointed. The installation went smoothly, the crew was courteous and protected our house well. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. Most importantly, we have been quite comfortable during this very hot summer. Our electric bill has come down a little bit over last summer, but we also have a larger system than we originally had, so we feel like thats a win.We definitely recommend Buckley!

To solve an air conditioning or heating issue, I give my strongest recommendation to Buckley Heat Air Solar, a small local family owned company. Last month, they did a superb job of installing a new central heat and air conditioning system along with new ducting at my residence. Every phase went smoothly; the bid preparation and no pressure presentation, the on-time crew, complete floor and wall protection, workplace cleanliness, and professional equipment installation. While other bidders quoted a two day installation, Jake Buckley and his crew finished by 5 pm the first day. During installation, my detailed discussions and examinations convinced me the quality of Buckley workmanship is at least comparable (if not superior) to the other bidders. After completion, Jake spent an hour with me to make sure I knew how to operate the equipment and thermostat. Then, the independent system test occurred the next morning and the building inspector signed off the following day; three days start to finish. In contrast, another system that a large company installed for me last year at a rental took three weeks. Further, I am totally pleased with how quiet Buckley personnel made the system operate, their free extended warranty, and their continual strong orientation to customer satisfaction. They filed the SMUD rebate forms for me and provided a notebook with all of the associated paperwork. And I forgot to mention, they were the lowest of four bidders. You wont be sorry you dealt with Buckley Heat Air Solar!

I have used the services of this company for a number of years. A year ago I had to replace my HVAC and my first and only choice was Buckley based upon my prior experience. I obtained good financing with a low interest rate. The installation was very good and the crew cleaned up everything. The nice thing about Buckley is the free maintenance inspection and the attempt to send the same service person who is familiar with the layout of the home and the equipment. All staff is professional, courteous and friendly. Wish there were more companies like this.

All the staff at Buckley operate at the far upper end of the scale. From initial contact to installation to finalizing all the small details the folks at Buckley are working at a superior level of service. This install was the second in our home within 2 years. Our old air conditioner/heater unit went out during the heat wave in 2019. Buckley came to our rescue! I appreciated that they have a real person who answered their business phone immediately and scheduled a service person to come to my home in a timely manner. The Buckley family and their employees are very professional. They worked around our schedules to accommodate us. Our initial service call, about nine months ago, lasted until 11pm as the technician wanted to make sure our unit, at the time, worked and was going to work until we replace it. We were able to squeeze out 20 years of life out of our old HVAC. We decided to replace it in 2020 because we wanted something good this year! After seeking five quotes to replace and relocate our HVAC, I choose Buckley Heat Air Solar. They were not the cheapest quote but I could not get over the fact that there are no negative reviews of their service, quality and commitment to their clients. We have had our system now for three months and it is amazing. I cannot hear it even when standing close to it. I have been a customer of Buckley Heat and Solar since 1989. I bought an old home that was originally built in 1926 and Buckley installed the buildings first central heat and air system. At the time of installation, they also did some upgrading of the electrical. I recently needed to replace my HVAC system. In addition to it being nearly 19 years old, I also had some damage to several ducts, presumably by rodents that had intruded in my crawl space. Our house never had central air conditioning or heating. Buckley staff installed duct work throughout the whole house with vents into all the rooms and installed a TRANE heat pump on our roof. They had an electrician put in a new electric panel with greater electrical capacity, upgrading our whole electrical system. The warranties are excellent. Everything about our HVAC system replacement with Buckley was excellent. Last summer, we bought a house with a 30 year old system. Brian met with us and clearly discussed all aspects of the best options for our needs. We selected a Trane system and Buckley sent a great team to begin the work. We changed from a floor ducting system to an attic/ceiling system, moved out the old unit in a closet and installed our new unit on our roof. All the old registers were sealed off and the new ones were sealed up to eliminate air leaks into the attic. Jake and his team were here working thoroughly, quietly, quickly and carefully. Everyone who came in our house was professional, easy to communicate with, hard working and just excellent. It was hot weather and they were in narrow crawl spaces and hot attic spaces...clearly they are very experienced and managed this big job beautifully. Our new thermostat gives us amazing control and was easy to learn to use. We can even adjust it from our cell phones! Buckleys team took the time to answer our questions, raise any of their own questions for us to make decisions about, and taught us about using our new system. With a little uneven temperatures in various rooms throughout our 1600 sq. ft. 3 bed/2 ba 1958 single story house, we realized it could indeed be adjusted and I called Buckley again. Taking all safety precautions during the COVID pandemic, Jake and Steven arrived today on time, fully equipped and ready do several things that are already helping even out the temperatures from living spaces to bedrooms. They put in an additional sensor in one of the bedrooms that was staying too warm, and they also adjusted the dampers in all our new attic ducts. Within an hour, I already noticed our cold dining room was comfortable, and our warm bedroom (its mid 90s today) is cool! Jake and Steven, as before, were on time, professional, pleasant, easy to communicate with, polite and clearly experienced! They had good ideas and implemented them for us. Buckley recently replaced the HVAC in our home. Access to the system had been through the master bedroom closet which was difficult and inconvenient for technicians and also generally made a mess in the closet. When I got estimates for HVAC replacement 2 other companies said they would need to take apart the closet inserts to do the job. We were not excited about that prospect. Buckley decided to build a catwalk from the other attic access in the garage to get to the HVAC area.They went through the garage, did a great job installing the new system and now nobody ever has to go through the closet again. Buckleys did the original replacement in 2015 of both furnace & condenser as well as determining that a second return air duct was needed based on a prior remodel to keep the temperature constant on the far side of the house. This is the second time I have used Buckley heating and air. My air conditioning went south when we were having 106,107 degrees. I phoned them and they came out the same day in the afternoon. Was told that they could not guarantee a repair because of location of where the repair was needed. I then asked if I decide to get a new unit cost and when can I have it installed. They said one and half days later.. rather then nickel and dime repairs I decided to put in a new unit. They came at 7a.m. And by 1 p.m. unit installed and working. Buckley Heat Air and Solar is wonderful. Most recently they installed a Trane HVAC system to replace our swamp cooler and wall furnace. Brian took all the time we needed to explain how the system works and helped us select the appropriate equipment; the prices were comparable with other bids. Jake and his installation crew were extremely efficient, friendly, and answered all of our many questions. They took extreme care to keep our house clean during the work. The job did require some sheetrock work which they subcontracted to another wonderful company that did a great job and again kept our house clean! The job was completed in early summer and since then, through 100+ temperatures outside, inside has never been as comfortable. Cooler weather has arrived and the heat has turned on and all of the rooms have an even, warm temperature for the first time in the 40+ years we’ve lived in our home. We had a problem with water around our 21 year old Trane system so we called Buckley H&A to find and repair the problem plus check the entire system out. John Buckley found and took care of a drain blockage and found wires misplaced on the blower caused by a visit from another company that could have caused bigger problems. In the process of repairing leaky duct work, Jake and his crew noticed that my AC/furnace had not been installed correctly. Another contractor who installed it 10 years ago had not enlarged the supply air opening to match the size of the new unit. My AC/furnace was blowing air through an opening that was only half as big as it should be. For 10 years every time I turned on my heat or AC, it sounded like a jet plane was warming up in the garage. After Jake enlarged the opening, my unit is soooo much quieter. The difference in noise level is really amazing. And his crew really busted their buns crawling under the house to repair all of the leaky ducts. The house comes up to temperature a lot faster with the repaired duct work. For the first time in 10 years, my AC/furnace works the way that it should and purrs like a kitten. Wolf in sheeps clothing. I find it extremely hard to believe that this company can get away with charging over a thousand dollars an hour for labor alone. We had an estimate done today and the kid was a garbage salesman. The estimate was not itemized and he could not tell me the labor cost even after pressing him 3 times. Had to do the research myself. He tried to close us by saying if we signed up today, hed knock off some money. Also mentioned they only use Trane products and that when they are shipped from Texas, they are banged around and most likely will leak within a few years requiring us to pay for a 10 year labor guarantee. Excuse me? When I mentioned this to Trane, they flipped as I expected. Ive been in service and sales for over 2 decades and this company is out here slamming the good people of Sacramento county simply because they can. We live in Orangevale and that type of ethic doesnt fly out here. Will be filing complaints within BBB, Angies, Yelp and Consumer Reports for unfair business practice. Skip these snakes and go with another company and save yourself a FEW grand. Buckley HVAC makes me sick.

Very professional! We have regular servicing done and they show up when promised, were very thorough checking our equipment and explained everything very clearly on what they found. For years have had great experience with this company and will continue to use. Highly recommend!

They have installed our new AirCondition in 1 day and if there is any complain, they would address and fix the issue as soon as they available. Also Brian would follow up after it was installed and provide us the manuals of the unit.
