Food is exceptional. Picked up an order mid-day about 2. The girl out front that takes your order when you walk up had a great attitude,she made sure I had a bag, utensils etc. It was hot as a Mississippi swamp,but she was really attentive and nice. Food came out in maybe 4 min and I was on my way. Chicken and Waffle sandwich and the custard are the things to try. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Eatery that Uses Waffles 🧇 as buns or as creative wraps. Found on corner of Palm & Glassell opposite of Chapman University this unique Chicken 🐔 & Waffle joint has been able 2 sustain/maintain such #Yummy food w/ true $ value since opening. Saying a lot when competing w/ over 40 more ( atleast) restaurants less than 0.5 miles away & in walkN distance in heart 🧡 of Orange 🍊 County Cali. If you’re looking for unconventional hot chicken this is the spot. I got a waffle sandwich with the Nashville style hot chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was not too spicy but had a good amount of kick. It pairs great with honey. The fries were nice and crispy but not overdone. They did a good job of keeping the tables clean and had the space heaters on during a chilly afternoon which was a plus.

They do a great job here with the fried boneless chicken breast. The additional seasonings they add are great too. I tried the original which is a their most popular and I can see why.The waffle is a bit dry for my taste. I wish it were a bit fluffier and less crispy. This location only has a handful of parking spots and only one restroom. Only outdoor seating is available.

Their chicken is seasoned nicely but a bit dry. We ordered only two items and it took 20 minutes. Their waffles could be a little crispier as well. All in all, I enjoyed the experience but I am not super hyped about returning. However, the staff are friendly and helpful with questions.

There was a line... its gotta be good...?My mouth was already watering as I was walking toward the line. There was a worker talking to each group in line to give recommendations and take questions. I really enjoyed that because it was my first time.Holy Chicken-- PERFECT waffle. (Well-- all the waffles were made to perfection) PERFECT amount of sweet, hint spice and the flavors mixed well. This came highly recommended-- and yes you want it.Fresh strawberry milkshake was amazing. Just get it.Loaded tots-- HUGE portion. Had to take some home for sure. Great for sharing.Nutella & strawberry and added bananas waffle was the sweet we needed. Again, waffle made to perfection. Great amount of crunch and soft.Can I give this a 6 out of 5?

Absolutely the BEST chicken and waffles Ive ever had! They have a decent menu selection from sandwiches to salads. We had the waffle chicken sandwich in original and Nashville hot options. Both tasted great! The honey chili was perfect on the original. And portion size was just right. The outside dining area was nice and the staff really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Was watching the channel 5 morning news and they were celebrating waffle day on Saturday. Well I did a survey and was hungry typed in waffles and they popped up. What 1.3 miles away yes I had to try them. Bruxie you didnt disappoint me at all! Ordered the original chicken sandwich combo and spent about 20 dollars and some change plus a tip. I didnt have a chance to eat it right away so it got cold. But when you can eat a cold chicken waffle sandwich and its 🔥. Baby, I will be back without a doubt. Season perfectly and had a little crunch still on the end of the chicken. The waffle and coleslaw plus the honey sauce just make it so yummy 😋. Not too many places have good chicken and Waffles. I got a buttermilk fried chicken salad, a 4 piece chicken and fries and a pumpkin shake. The menu is neat and easy to read. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean neat eating area. Plenty of seating even though it is located across the street from Chapman University. I ordered around 12pm on a mon and waited about 15 minutes. The seating area is shaded so its a nice place to eat when the weather isnt great.

Staff at the counter is really helpful with recommending what to have based on your dietary preference. Their Holy Chicken is the most popular item on the menu and it’s easy to see why it’s so. Chicken is juicy and sweet from the maple syrup and the waffle is crispy enough but still soft and fluffy. Their homemade slaw is good and they have an unsweetened iced tea for those who don’t want a fountain drink.

A couple days I went with my wife and turned out they totally gave us the wrong order 3 times, for some reason I’m not sure if they are mentally right or even allowed to work .. it was a simple order from the menu. Really unprofessional wasn’t even hungry at that point anymore they also forgot the fries I ordered I didn’t even bother to ask. Also asked for ranch at the end and got Baffulo sauce. They also didn’t give us forks knifes or napkins I had to go get them myself twice. From what I remember it was a Hispanic server and and Asian female. I miss the old employees! definitely won’t be a regular here anymore. Food is amazing ! Servers are the worst!

For about 25$ for the 2 dishes it was a great value for the portions and taste. Will definitely be coming back to this Bruxie location for when we want chicken and waffles!

For sides we got the waffle fries and Angry Mac & Cheese which were both very good. Our favorite part was adding the syrup to our breakfast waffle sandwich. Customer service was beyond excellent. They were all prompt, friendly, and caring. The line was long but they kept it moving fast and had an employee walking around checking in with everybody. Food presentation was on point. I wasnt expecting my food to be as visually appealing as their photos, but to my surprise, all my food was nicely presented and equally delicious. Totally satisfied!

This place has incredibly good tasting chicken! I love the flavor of the new wings they added to the menu! The glazed wings are great and taste amazing! The area is extremely clean and the parking was easy. The staff was extremely friendly and the outdoor seating is nice to enjoy some chicken and some fresh air! The el jefe chicken sandwich also hit the spot. If you are a true chicken lover, look no further!

Very delicious, got the waffle burger, Spiced Tots, and their Red White & Blue shake! Everything was very delicious, the waffle was nice and soft yet firm, and the tots were very soft too and the seasoning tasted like Fritos (a bit spicy actually). The shake was also really good, had real berry sauce swirled inside and real strawberries and blueberries on top. My mom also got a kids waffles meal. Came out to $27 without tip, not bad for what you get. Totally recommend this place.

Ive lived in Southern California all my life and today I discovered @bruxiewafflesOrdered the fried chicken and waffles and my son got the chicken tenders and waffle fries. This chicken is flavorful, juicy and so crispy. It has the right amount of spices and who wouldnt fall in love with their mini maple syrup bottle! I ordered a chocolate custard shake too. I splurged because its a Monday and I finally have some time to treat myself. They practice excellent social distancing in their outdoor dining area and staff were super friendly. I will return!

Lately, Bruxie has been one of my biggest disappointments. The fried chicken is still good but most everything else has declined and I am wondering why. Its a waffle and chicken place but the waffle has gone down the drain.They used to have pretty decent vegetarian options - even if limited - but they are also gone. You can only get a plain waffle (maybe an egg), tots/fries, and sweet waffles. The salad and sandwich are gone - but why?The drinks are alright - the Arnold Palmer is too sweet and the coffee is just a notch above diner coffee but for twice the price.I like eating out and the atmosphere is great but the decline in food quality has been unbearable. I just get some tenders from time to time to satisfy the fried chicken urge. Not really recommended anymore.

My only regret was not eating it while it was fresh, but even while warm, the food was incredible! I need more food like this in my life, although my doctor might disagree.I had the original and the chipotle honey sauce drizzled over the sandwich was divine and added the perfect spicy to the sweet. Crunch on the chicken was there, and meshed with the full flavor of the waffle so well. Tater tots were good but probably better when fresh (my fault). Because everything sounds so delicious. Deciding is the chore. Do you want savory? Do you want sweet? Or both? I went with both. I knew what I wanted until I looked at the menu. Seriously, Bruxie makes the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had that every time I come to the LA area I make it a point to come here. I’ve been eating here for 10 years. Quality has gone down considerably recently. We ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken had a very unpleasant smell, possibly old stock or left out for too long. The coke is usually very watered down in the morning. We had a long history with this particular Bruxie but we likely won’t come back for a while.

Great food, great atmosphere and really friendly service. Parking can be a bit tricky, even more so on a busy day. Worth the extra minutes looking for parking if you ask me.

Typical street side cafe milkshakes are good, not a huge fan of the actual food, there seems to be a lot of fried foods but not a lot of other alternatives. Service was hit and miss. You g talk guy working was great and engaging and attentive, however the three ladies working all three seemed to be some version of Regina George from mean girls. Not friendly. Not polite, seemed asThough everyone was in their way and creating an inconvenience for them who were more interested in discussion around the weekend d plans than they were to the tasks at hand. I actually have even witnessed them on three additional occasions talking down to customers who are of a minority background. Not cool at all. Hope someone reals them in before it’s too late for this place it has a lot of potential.

Another Waffle place! It has both breakfast and lunch options, a good brunch place! As a fan of spicy foods, I got their Nashville Hot chicken with lettuce, pickles, and their sauce.For me, it was too saucy so I think I will ask them for the sauce on the side next time. I think the excess sauce may have made it a bit too salty for my tastes. The good news is,, the chicken is juicy and not dry! I think it has a good kick to it. I thought it would be spicier, but this was easy for me.I didnt get a combo but I think the sandwich alone is a good portion for me especially since this was my lunch. There are also water cups available! And theyre iced cold water!I saw outside and they had those water mist along the sides and it was refreshing! Definitely helped this hot weather.

Id never dine in at this restaurant before but it did help me pinpoint the location of Chapman university when I first started driving around the area. Hopefully one day Ill dine here, perhaps take my friends and family, and make it wonderful. Also as someone that loves both waffles and chicken and other kinds of well-made food. Great establishment, from the food to the people had a great experience. Ive been to other Bruxies, however this is the original and its beautiful, tucked away in a quiet residential area with lots of seating. I didnt get the name of who greeted us but she was very nice and funny, even though we came in within an hour of them closing. Ive been coming here for years, but my last experience was so bad, it made me never want to come to this location.I ordered online ahead of time. Got to the restaurant when my order was estimated to be ready. Except my food wasnt ready and I had to wait. Which is totally understandable.But I ended up waiting another 30 minutes. Other guests were also getting really upset at the wait.Then a lady came up wanting hot coffee since it was pretty chilly that night.When the expo guy gave her the coffee, she gave it back right away because it was room temperature. THEN, it turned out that they had run out of coffee, and the expo guy told her she had to wait 15 minutes for fresh coffee. Poor lady. The look on her face was one of disbelief and annoyance.The worst part is that the manager or lead for this Bruxie location was just standing outside next to the expo guy. Doing nothing. How about you go inside and tell your kitchen staff to get their act together?I waited about 45 minutes in total for my food. And my food wasnt even hot. God only knows how long the others waited that night.Really disappointed by the service I got that night. Especially for how expensive Bruxie has become.That kitchen staff was slacking hard.

This sweet little place is a couple blocks from where our son and daughter in law live. I came across it on a walk the day after Thanksgiving and as wife and I headed home we stopped.we both had their classic chicken and waffle sandwich and it was wonderful. Not at all what we expected. Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning during pandemic times. The thing that stood out to me apart from the great food was that the 2 lady servers were really helpful. Just stand next to one of them and theyll automatically ask what they can do for you and I appreciated that. Ordered the original chicken and the nashville hot chicken. If you dont want your chicken sweet then dont get the original as it has a sweet sauce but for me its a good balance of sweet and salty. The nashville hot chicken was awesome and it wasnt too spicy. Strange to be eating chicken on a waffle at first but it works. Will definitely go back for more.

The spiced tater tots were not that impressive based off the name but I give kudos for trying.The sandwich was a joyous moment for my all of my senses (but hearing). It felt, looked, smelled and tasted like a masterpiece. I got the bruxie burger and subbed it for chicken.The wait was long but definitely worth it. We all know the food at Bruxie has always been really good. When you need some comfort food, its hard to beat. Its delicious, its filling, and its fast.But what sets this place apart is the service, especially when it comes to the general manager at this location. When we expressed our disappointment about the removal of the mushroom and goat cheese waffle from the menu (which is already extremely limited for vegetarians), the GM truly went above and beyond. If youre a customer, that should be enough; the rest of the review is really for Bruxie management.Not only did the GM explain how others had complained and why he would again be speaking with his boss about our complaint; not only did he detail the context behind the items removal and that he was already taking steps to serve it again and what day we should come back to order it (to help prove to management that it or at least some vegetarian option should be on the menu); not only through all this did he listen openly, speak candidly, and even provide us his phone number so we could check in on our complaint; but he went even further by immediately going to speak with the kitchen staff to see if there was anything else they could use to make us a savory vegetarian waffle. And while they didnt have all of the ingredients, they did still have most, and the GM came out to our table to let us know something close to the item could be made specially for us. On top of all this, I made a mistake ordering something with cream (I can only have small amounts of lactose), and he didnt miss a beat when I had to send it back to be remade.He didnt try to simply placate us with promises — he followed through with actions to show us he meant what he said. He treated us like people instead of some annoyance, while also demonstrating his self-respect by remaining calm, kind, and professional when faced with a complaint. His goal is very clearly to do whats right by balancing the customers input, the financial health of the company, and the overall quality and appeal of the menu, and he demonstrated his ability to navigate these muddy waters and find solutions to problems without clear answers.Bruxie: youre doing something right to have hired this GM. He earned two loyal customers who were close to not returning (at least not even close to as frequently) and he also earned this review. I wanted to love this place. The vibe and location is great, staff is great, it is clean and well maintained. The food unfortunately was just mediocre at best. The chicken tasted processed and frozen and the waffle had literally no flavor at all. I wish I could say that it was amazing, however my son and I drove close to 30 minutes to get here and we were both really disappointed.

I love their chicken sandwiches, ordered a breakfast one to change it up. Perfectly balanced in my honest opinion. Their coffee iced brew is pretty strong, for my taste. Still good :) husband was all messy with his waffle sandwich, and their new wings are heavenly. Very nice staff even on a busy day, saw us struggling with the wings and gave us napkins. Thank you and sorry for making u do that when I could of stood up to do it myself 🙏 made sure to clean up after ourselves before heading out.parking is kinda tricky forgot to mention that, make sure u find one outside or around.

Our new favorite Fried Chicken spot, we have been to this location and the one near Hollywood….Love, Love, Love. Only word of advise the spicier version of the sandwich was no joke (not the buffalo).

At first, I was addicted to this place.The food was good and the environment and outside area is amazing.Later on, I started to feel that the chicken is Spicy, when I gave this comment to the team they were like “this is not spicy”.Well, the last 3 times I couldn’t handle the level of spice of the fried chicken and decided not to go there anymore because of the poor experience caused by the food recipe.I hope you guys take it into consideration.I’ve introduced your restaurant to at least 20 people.

Great food youd come to expect from a Bruxie, though the location by comparison to many of the other restaurants in the chain weve visited its significantly more rustic, more resembling an outdoor diner than its casual and comfortable sister locations.Two handfuls of outdoor seating with varying amounts of shade and poor line management can result in a long, jumbled line of patrons spilling into the street. Parking is vest done on adjacent streets and walking to this location, as the parking lot hidden behind the shack is undersized and often full.To be clear, there is nothing wrong with the quality of food or service here. This location just suffers from that malady... its own location.

The food is amazing and pretty filling. I had the BAMF (chicken on waffle with bacon Mac n cheese and peppers) tasted great and so were the spicy tots. Good service. Okay for outdoor only seating, its covered and makes it tolerable. I have to take a star down for the terrible parking. Four spots in the back, plus one handicap. Street is either full with residents or Chapman students. The food is good, but the prices arent competitive enough that Im going to spend 15 minutes finding parking and then walk half a mile to get there.

This was the first time my family of four patronized this chicken spot. We were thoroughly impressed! Both my daughters ordered the 3 pc buffalo tenders with the ranch (good), Carolina bbq (vinegary) and chili honey (good) sauces. My hubby ordered The Original w/ spiced tots, he said it slapped! I ordered the Kickin Nashville Hot w/spiced tots, it was great! We each got the strawberry lemonade (free refills), it was so fresh and tart.

I have never been to this spot particularly. I live around the Diamond Bar/Chino Hills area and I was bummed out that the location closed due to Covid. It has been about 2 years since I last went to a Bruxie. I have decided to take my buddy from High School to this location last weekend. Pretty much an outdoor dining spot right by Old Town Orange. Employees were friendly, checking up on us, food quality, and arrival time was amazing. Will be returning to this place again.

The juiciest chicken!! The waffle is sturdy and not super fluffy. Have tried this combo (chicken & waffle) all over the states and this one is by far the best one. Even though its kind of outside/inside, they have heaters by the tables. My husband and I are always cold and it is comfortable. So worth it! We come here anytime we are near LA!!

Very good food. Service is friendly but lines can sometimes be long. There is outdoor seating, so its nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather, assuming its a nice day. Parking can sometimes be tricky, but Ive never really struggled to much when coming to eat here

As my first time experience there it was awesome! I enjoyed my meal its a great little spot..it was a drive for me but its Okie I been wanting to try it. Love the fact that not also do they have savory but also sweet waffles desserts. I have a sweet tooth..they also have great service! I recommend it :)

I wont be returning here again. Complete disappointment. I ordered two chicken and waffles and 3 kids Mac n cheese which took way too long to prepare. Every other table was served and my family and I were still waiting ( even though we were first to arrive and order). By the time the food was brought out only my husband and myself was served - we still had to wait even more time for our kids food.

This was so very good. I didnt try the waffles but the chicken was hot, fresh, crunchy and spiced just right. The outdoor space was pleasant and had outdoor heaters if needed. It will be a place Ill want to go back to the next time Im up in Orange County

Absolutely delicious! Had the original bruxie sandwich, their chicken is absolutely amazing especially with the house sauce.. Their chicken puts kfc to shame right amount of spices / crispness and tenderness. Not over cooked or too chewy. Made a returning customer out of me.Their breakfast items are also as delicious, apple wood smoked bacon goes good on any sandwich as well.

Waffles are amazing! They can be plain or wrapped around your favorites, theyll just melt in your mouth. Mac-n-cheese is a little spicey even the kids choice. The loaded fries are perfect, just the right mix of cheese and goodies. Looking forward to popping in again soon.

I told my brother who likes to eat out this place will be a hit! He lives in our local mountains and coming down to visit the Circle of Orange means enjoying a meal together. Theres many restaurants in this neighborhood so between the college and people that want to visit the circle of orange stores theres many restaurants to choose from. This place makes chicken like no one else, I dont know how the waffles are so light and airy, the real maple syrup is completely delicious, its just a really good meal!

I do like their food, but there is always a line. They have very limited seating. I am a fan of their seasonal sandwiches and salads. Their other items are good, as well. The waffles are a bit oily, so be ready for that. Their waffles are just average. Overall, their sandwiches remind me of a panini with some more interesting flavor combinations.

I love this location because the staff is really friendly, its a outdoor location but has heaters when its cold. The food is great but I really like the sweet waffles, Nutella with bananas and strawberries is the absolute best!
