I complaint to Dr. Jackson about my erratic blood pressure readings. He looked at my palms and asked me to pulled out my drivers license to see my picture on the drivers license then he told me I have a condition of growth hormone disorder, or acromegaly. I am very lucky to have him as my cardiologist. He is an expert on the treatment to work with UCLA neurosurgical team to treat this problem. The surgery to remove non-cancerous tumor from my pituitary gland was a success to lower my growth hormone level to where it should be for my age. Now he is working on my open heart surgery to replace the aortic valve to fix the severe regurgitation problem. He has ordered an angiogram procedure to evaluate the condition of my artery. He suggested a tissue replacement valve instead of a mechanical valve due to the concern of the blood thinner that I have to take for life. I am sure there are many good cardiologists. For sure, he is one of them to go to. Very professional experienced that you need and fun to talk to. Strongly recommend!!
