These guys are real professionals. My car was hit while parked and they took care of me very well. It’s not often you leave with a smile after getting your car smashed. Turn around was super quick and they washed and polished my car. That was a real bonus. Highly recommended.

If you drive a Mercedes, Brooks is the best in the business. They truly did an incredible job. Rhett helped me with my vehicle and we spoke multiple times a week so I knew exactly what was happening. Although they had it for over a month to ensure things were done right, when I got my car back it was immaculate and repaired with the precision and care that had her looking good as new. Customer service and care are not extras at Brooks, they are included in the experience and I deeply appreciated the detail and excellent service I received. All around very happy customer.

I recently had my car fixed at Brooks Motor. I had a very complicated insurance problems with the other driver but my estimator Rhett had been very helpful along the way. He helped me communicate with insurance companies and was very helpful and flexible throughout the process. The repair result is pretty descent as well. Theres nothing much that I could be picky on the paint jobs nor the repairs. I would highly recommend Brooks Motor if you have a Mercedes.

Brooks Motors treats you like a family and will take care of you. My advisor / point of contact, Terry Campbell, is the kindest and caring person. His attention to detail is extraordinary. The damage to my car was due to a plywood impact while on the highway. Multiple damage to the front of my car. Terry and his crew knew that I was in distressed and will do everything they can to ensure a smooth process with transparency. We originally went to the insurance recommended auto body shop. Our car came back a disaster -- the weldings were haphazard and not to spec and the paint job was so bad that our detailer wouldnt touch the car because he was afraid the paint would peel off. Brooks helped me identify and photo the problems and work with our insurance company to have all the work redone. Every last part of the job had to be recompleted. Im very grateful to them, as now my car feels as good as new.

Five stars for Oakland Brooks Motor Cars! From the first moment I stepped into the office for my estimate, I was greeted with such friendliness and professionalism. After a run-in with a parking garage pillar, the rear right panel of our six-month old Tesla was quite damaged and I was feeling quite anxious. Frank immediately put my mind at ease and explained carefully what would need to be done; and reassured me that it would all be fine! Along the way, both Frank and Terry were extremely helpful and communicative, answering all of my questions about the estimates and dealing with insurance. Finally, I picked up the car on Friday, got to see Frank and Terry, and the car looks like new. They even cleaned it thoroughly inside and out. Hopefully, I wont have any more collisions, but if I do, I will DEFINITELY use Brooks again! Many thanks to all of the staff and crew at Brooks!

Brooks did an excellent job fixing my car. My points of contact were Fernando and Frank, who were readily available to address any of my questions and concerns. Generally, it can take some time for the process to be completed depending on extent of repair needed, but theyll make sure everything is done to OEM standards and flawlessly. I would certainly recommend them and use in future as/if needed.

Ive visited Brooks Motor Cars Oakland for a couple times within 14 months. Both experiences are excellent. Quick inspection with great project management. They know exactly what needs to be done to return the car back at the least amount of time by perfectly getting the car repair. Ive work with Frank and Terry the most at both visit. First, the service listing does not have auto body work, only painting. We had both done on my husbands Tesla . This place in Oakland is Tesla certified. They did a great job, and everybody was very nice, helpful and professional. It took 3+ weeks to have the car fixed for various reasons.

It is clear that they value their customers’ opinions, which is something that I respect. Their work is good and they seem to care about their reputation. So up to 4 stars.Leaving original review below for context.************Came for minor body work, replacement of one running board panel and PPF of panel. Estimate was $973.1 week later, price at pickup was almost $1400 (43% increase). Reasons given: original estimate was from someone who said he “was new to this space and that the PPF was the bulk of the increase”. PPF was estimated at $200.Manager said no, he’s not new, and estimates are just estimates and the reason is that prices of parts and labor have changed. Offered $100 off.I argued that a 43% increase is absurd and beyond reasonable overage for an estimate. Negotiated to $1100.One thing that *might* be a factor is wife was originally the one dealing with them.2 stars because they cleaned the car and have mints on the counter.

This is the third time I have had a car repaired at Brooks (yes, I’m a good driver, I just have bad luck - people like to hit my cars 🤷🏼‍♀️). Frank has taken care of me every time, and he delivers great customer service. The crew at Brooks restored my car and had it sparkling clean for pickup. They do a meticulous job repairing damage, and because of this, you have to be patient. They do it right, and the wait is totally worth it when you see your car looking brand new again!

Had an excellent experience here. Communication was never a problem and updates were given when requested. The entire team was professional from the start to the end. As for the quality of the work provided, I am happy and pleased with the results. The paint matches well to the original paint from factory and the repairs were performed as best as could be. Upon pickup, my car was washed and vacuumed and looked stellar. Thank you Frank and the rest of the team for taking care of me and my car. Would definitely bring my car back for future repairs if needed.

I brought my 2018 Tesla 3 to the Oakland shop (near OAK) for repairs of a front end scrape. They fixed everything beautifully, ended up re-aligning the wheels involved on the damaged side, and also were very careful with the inherent computer controls (using a Tesla specialist who came on site to adjust). The result looks more beautiful than new, if one can believe that, and drives better than ever. The job was completed earlier than expected and the attentive staff notified me several times during the process to keep me in the loop. Frank Huff, in particular, was outstanding! Renting a car from nearby Enterprise couldnt be easier (Brooks has a return arrangement that eliminated my needing to go myself to the car rental agency; just left the rental at the body shop). Also, it might as well be a Tesla repair center - there appeared to be a sea of them on the premises - so, inasmuch as experience results in perfection, I think they have this make of car down to a science. There were plenty of luxury vehicles, too, however. But reading the ads might make one infer it was for Ferraris and the like - but they treat you royally even if you drive a more modest car.

My Tesla was first massively damaged by my teenage driver and subsequently lightly damaged by a rear-ending. Both times Brooks did a fantastic job of fixing the car, completing it faster than scheduled, left the car impeccably cleaned and fulled charged, and supplied me with a cold green tea and chocolate snack on the way out. Everyone there is super nice and professional. Ill never go anywhere else for repair work.

Brooks Motor Cars is a great cars repair company which we put our Tesla Model Y Performance for repair after the accident. Frank, the general manager and his professional repair team did a fantastic job on my car. Frank has been helping me dealing with the car insurance regarding what needs to be replaced in safety and required by Tesla standards. The professional repair team was working in the shop diligently on my car to bring it back to the original setting and did a beautiful paint job on my car.We love it when we picked up our car at the BMC yesterday.Upon we arrived, Frank was greeting us in the customer area and the staff were welcoming us with smiles as a valuable customer that makes us feel really happy. In fact not many body shops could or do the same as the BMC. This attitude requires the professional training from the top down and not many shops can do it. I found Brooks Motor Cars when looking online for a collision shop that services Tesla vehicles. The customer service I received every step of the way, from my initial call to picking up my completed vehicle, was excellent. I received frequent updates via email and the team was very patient in answering my questions regarding the repair and insurance payment process. They went above and beyond a few times to advocate for repairs that my insurance had not included on the initial estimate but that obviously needed to be done to make my car whole again. They also worked hard to find backordered parts so that the repairs could proceed as quickly as possible, despite an ongoing COVID surge. Frank, Angela, and Terry were fantastic-- thank you to the whole team for taking great care of me!

My vehicle was in a minor accident when I was going through a fast food drive through. Nice looking shop and they work on some pretty cool cars! I was a bit intimidated dropping my decade-old Mercedes at this shop with like Aston Martins and AMGs but I got excellent customer service just like the high-rollers get. When it was time to pick-up my car, they had it all nicely detailed and ready to go which I definitely appreciated. My wifes Jaguar F-Pace S, which she affectionately named Jack Black due to its Santorini Black Metallic color, was involved in two separate incidents: one involving a client who scraped her car, and the other involving an elderly driver who hit her car. Since we just moved to the East Bay from San Francisco this spring, we had no idea where to take poor Jack Jack. Thank God for Brooks Motor Cars. Frank our advisor, patiently walked her through the claims process with State Farm (thats a whole other review). Brooks took their time to do it right. And did they! Im sure this has been said before: The car came back better than when she purchased it. Truly, it was perfect in that she had purchased it pre-owned from someone who didnt care about keeping the car up. Brooks restored this vehicle to new appearance, and we could not be happier.

When my Porsche Macan Turbo hit a dog on the freeway, I wanted to make sure the car got fixed properly. Brooks Motor Cars repaired my car with OEM parts, and very precise paint matching on the bumper. The car was returned to me with a whole bunch of new front end parts, and although they took longer than I expected, I knew I was getting my Porsche back in a condition even better than pre-accident, so I was okay to wait and let them take their time with the repair.They took care of all of the communications with my insurance company and even reduced my out of pocket bill because the car took so much longer than expected to repair. One may worry when there are but one, if not two authorized body shops for your car in the Bay Area. However, that exclusivity was not an issue with Brooks Motor Cars. From the moment I dropped my Tesla Model S with the shop until the moment I picked it up and even during a later visit afterwards, I was treated with the upmost care and professionalism. My driver side rear panel required replacement after another vehicle side swiped my car. I was anxious about the fact this entailed cutting the panel away to later bond and rivet a new one on. The work was extremely labor intensive and required a lot of detailed work I will not mention here. Yet the work was excellent. I noticed a few issues that needed attention and the crew apologetically addressed each one right away. I really felt valued as a customer. I highly recommend Brooks Motor Cars for Tesla cars which are a real challenge.

Brought my Tesla here after someone rear-ended me. BMC did a super job on my Tesla that had its nose bashed in by a head on collision. Note its not just the frame etc. its also all the computer/electronic gadgets buried in the front end of the Model S. But they got it all it appears on checking out the driving and the electronics. And the car certainly looks new, nary a dent or scratch.The whole process of checking in the car and getting it back after it was finished was flawless. Their check-in people are knowledgeable and polite. There is a reason they have nothing but five star ratings...they deserve it.PS: Alas, I had another nose job; a fender bender this time. But still Brooks did a beautiful job, both giving my Tesla the face lift and handling the paperwork and such. They are still a five star body shop.

The ash fall and debris driven by wind during the forest fires a few months ago completely ruined the paint on my auto. The whole car had to be repainted. The shop is way far and gone, near Oakland airport, but the premises are handsome and spotless, as one might expect of a shop that works on Maseratis (which I believe they do) and Jaguars. The work on my fender bender took a little longer than I expected, but apparently that was due to parts availability. The result was perfect. The price was a shocker, but 1) my car is an expensive one, and 2) State Farm paid it. Id use them again if I had to, but Id prefer a shop closer to me, in Pinole. Of course, I hope not to need a body shop again. Ill be careful, I promise.

Wow. Truly great customer service. Frank and the team were quick to respond and get me scheduled. I stopped by to give them a chance to look at the problem before the scheduled appointment and they took care of the problem on the spot for no charge. They have my business from here on out.
