We could not have been happier with the excellent service from Leo H. And Brody Pennell. From start to finish, his professionalism, communication, and quality of customer service made us feel valued as customers and appreciative to find a reliable and trustworthy service technician. Leo H. guided us through the work he completed, showing us before & after pictures, and also provided some recommendations on additional work we could elect to complete. They were so professional and thorough! I had David M. who came out to do the initial diagnostics and basically we have to replace the whole A/C unit (which I already kind of knew in the back of my head but wanted to make sure). He reached out to see if he could get another colleague to come out to give us an estimate. And Ashton (with trainee Ariel) were able to come out to us quickly. I like how transparent they all were with us. And they will be coming out next week to install everything. Highly recommend them!

Called about an issue with our HVAC and they were able to send a tech the next day. David M was super thorough and took helpful pictures and videos to describe the issues we were having, since our unit is on the roof. When we decided that we needed to escalate to potentially replacing our unit, supervisor Fabio was able to come out within half an hour and provide us with our options for replacement. He was super accommodating and was even able to fit us into his schedule for the following week! Great experience all around.

Ashton and Juan Molina were great in explaining what needed to be fixed and what options I had. My AC unit was not blowing cold air, and the machine was over heating - the unit was at the end of its life expectancy and suggested it be replaced, as even repairing it would only be a short term fix, which he showed me what temperature it would still be at if we did replace. Everything was communicative and quick process. Would recommend. Thank you both!

He came to do maintenance on my air conditioning unit and spent 7+ hours thoroughly checking every part to make sure it was working effectively and efficiently as we approach summer. The semiannual inspection of my HVAC system was very thorough, and they went through every single finding, explaining its meaning. Juan Molina came to service my central A/C. He was very professional and took great caution not to scratch or dirty my floor. He wore shoe covers, placed a mat at the door entrance and protected my floor from getting scuffed by his ladder as he examined the attic unit. He explained everything he did and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He took lots of pictures to show what he had found. Due to the age of my unit he gave me several options and recommendations on how to approach the repairs that are needed. Overall it was a good experience.

Freddy and Anthony Manzo from Brody Pennell came for scheduled maintenance and they were very professional and patient explaining me all details about our system and what they do to keep it clean and functional. They asked if I am interested to install air scrubber and explain me the benefits. This is something we did not think before and asked them to send us details so that we can make informed decision later. I am glad that they did not push us to buy stuff and give us opportunity to learn more. Overall, they are the guy you would want them to come and check out your unit before winter or summer to make sure your air conditioner is working properly.

I really enjoy the service guys here. David and Alex were really lovely and the last time Benny was so great. I was already planning on getting a new unit. Wasn’t a huge fan of the particular supervisor I dealt with in terms of sales, but we were able to finalize with Michael and I would like to believe we all have bad days. So I had a terrible experience with another company and decided try Brody Pennell. Since the last experience, I felt very uncomfortable and on guard. Anthony Manzo came on time and called me. I let him tell me what his diagnostic evaluation was. (I already suspected what I needed and had already ordered the replacement part) I was floored by how honest from the beginning he was. He didn’t try to price gauge me or hustle me in any way. He was great. I signed up for for their annual maintenance service because he has now earned my trust. The service was quick, and thorough. I feel the price was affordable and fair. I thank you from the bottom of my heart because in this day and age, everyone is just trying to not only make money, but take advantage when they feel you may be unknowledgeable. Anthony Manzo is a blessing and Brody Pennell is fortunate to have him.Btw. The other company tried to charge me a ridiculous fee of almost 2 thousand dollars for a deep cleaning of unit and coils, and replacing a simple capacitor. They try to say the capacitor was a “Turbo” capacitor so that is why it would cost me so much. Shame on them !

He explained everything in great detail and advised us about further maintenance without pressuring us to get it done. We have a two mini-split units which can be really tricky to work on, but Steven was ultra-knowledgable and took extra time to work on the roof venting/connections. Unfortunately my experience was not good. Expensive pricing for maintenance, and not that knowledgeable of technicians. The biggest reason for my rating is the fact that I scheduled my appointment with the clerk and confirmed that they were able to work on my system (Daikin ductless minisplit). However, the technician sent out for the day did not have the right equipment to work on my system. They still charged me $99 for the dispatch.The only good part that is that the technicians seemed considerate of my home and wore booties in my home without me having to ask.

I scheduled a routine tune up maintenance on my packaged HVAC system. Richie Salazar with Brody Pennell was the service technician who responded and conducted the tune up and maintenance inspection. Richie was very friendly and professional throughout the visit and took the time to explain the process. He also laid down a floor mat and placed shoe covers on his shoes before entering my home. He was very thorough taking the time to inspect the entire system and providing images of his findings and recommendations. I had purchased the Brody Comfort Club but forgot to use it until today. They initially scheduled me for tomorrow, but there was a last minute cancellation and so James and Phil were able to come by earlier today.There was an issue where my heater was just pumping out cold air, though as soon as the technicians got here and tested the system, it started working again. I was joking that maybe the system knew that the technicians were here.There was still an issue with the temperature differential being too low. I am taking back my positive review. If I could give negative stars, I would.Where are all these positive reviews coming from?? They have to be bots from Russia. This company and their techs are all frauds.I contacted them to replace an old HVAC system in the upstairs unit of a duplex. The duplex was between renters and was empty and had just been renovated when we discovered the old unit wouldn’t turn on.First, Fabio told me that the installation of a new heat pump would quality for a $2000 federal tax credit, and for a few other reasons, I decided to go that route and signed to have the work done. However, I did some research later and found that I was NOT eligible for the tax credit. I tried to cancel the job through Fabio so I could weigh other options. He got really pushy and didn’t want me to cancel so he said Brody Penney would give me the $2000 discount. I had a strange feeling because of how pushy he was being but agreed anyway.So then the guys start the work. I just had the unit cleaned as part of the renovation but was assured they would leave it just as clean as they found it. By the time they left, they had scratched up walls and woodwork. Urinated all over both bathrooms (floors and seats) and didn’t even flush. Bathroom sinks were covered in filth. And they had put two huge scratches in the brand new kitchen sink. It was so bad they had to send their contractor over to repaint. Unfortunately he couldn’t fix the sink, but I still had the invoice from my contractor so I knew exactly how much it cost. It was a bit of a fight, but I got Brody Pennell to reimburse me.Then they had to come back because they had fried a circuit board or something on the unit and it wouldn’t turn on again. And then they said they forgot to install a cover that it needed on the outside and had to come back again. So a one day project was now taking three days. However they ended up calling and saying they were wrong, it didn’t actually need the cover. How could they be so unsure about something like that?But wait! There’s more!They came a couple weeks later to do annual maintenance on the system in the lower unit, but only because I had a service contract with them and thought maybe the prior bad experience was a one off. The lower unit’s system WAS working perfectly fine before the BP tech came, and was totally fried by the time he left. In fact, he left my house with the unit running and UNABLE TO TURN OFF. He didn’t even say anything about the issue. He just left. I discovered after some time that the unit wasn’t turning off AND the thermostat was busted. So they had to send the tech AND a supervisor back out that night. It took them hours, but they finally got it working again. Before the supervisor left, he also tried to upsell me on a bunch of other work they could do. IS THIS GUY FOR REAL?So now, about four weeks after the system in the upper unit was installed, I have tenants again. Yay. Unfortunately the tenants ran the AC for the FIRST TIME, and now there is water pouring out of the indoor component of the system and dripping through the ceiling and into the lower unit.I am now waiting for a tech to come between 9 pm and MIDNIGHT. When I have to be up for work at 6:30 am. I can only imagine what fresh hell awaits.

Daniel B. went above and beyond fixing my air conditioning equipment today. He explained everything to me and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing throughout the process. My issue was tricky and he was able to figure it out and fix everything. Daniel is also incredibly kind and personable and made the process easy for me. I am completely satisfied with the service and will be contacting Daniel again for all my HVAC needs!

I just had David Mares here to service the A/C system that they installed 2 years ago. David was great at explaining all the pertinent information about the function and cleaning of my A/C / heating system. He took pictures to show me whatever potential issues there may be down the road. I would highly recommend Brody Pennell for the A/C / heating system and specifically David Mares as a technician.

This is a class A team.. Alessandro A, Rafael B, Rosendo V and Brian G... The team was knowledgeable, punctual, professional and high performing. They worked as one unit and removed and installed a 3.5 ton system seamlessly. I would be remiss is I didnt mention the Crane Driver, he is amazing !!!.Alessandro took the time to address additional concerns that my tenant had and even returned to take care of the breaker that tripped.If you need a HVAC system replaced, I would not only use Brody Penell, but request this team!!!Thank you, TEAM A ( Alessandro, Rafael, Rosendo and Brian).

I had to take the time to update my review and thank and compliment Ashton K. and his team of installers Mike, Raul, Elario, and Juan DS who installed our new furnace. Ashton’s knowledge and follow up has been fantastic. The installers workmanship was excellent. They were all professional and respectful and kept our home neat and clean after they finished the installation. The furnace is working perfectly. Our follow up appointments with Jose Rivera, Jonathan A. and Ramiro S. were also handled with the same professionalism.I would highly recommend Brody Pennell. The quality of their furnaces and workmanship are excellent.Juan Molina and Ashton K provided me with great service today. They were both very thorough and detailed in explaining the technical problems that were occurring with my heater. I was very pleased with their high level of service and professionalism.

This guy driving on the 134 freeway this morning for their company was road raging, cutting other drivers off while speed and not letting people in other lanes while it was raining . He shouldn’t be in a company vehicle representing their company. I have it all on my dash cam as well as my rear camera. 6B414P3 license plate. Hope the company does something about it cause I am going to send the video to highway patrol!

Incredible, fabulous customer service. I called for routine maintenance on our ancient furnace. Spencer was so great. I asked if he could give me an estimate on a new HVAC system, too, and though he couldn’t, he tracked down a supervisor that was available so I could get everything done in one appointment. His supervisor, Michael, was equally great. They explained the issues with my system really clearly, answered all of my questions, and were just happy people to be around.

We had our first ever duct cleaning service today. Enrique D., Danny P., and Gerson were careful to keep a multi hour job as least intrusive as possible, and they used tarps and plastic sheeting to keep our house clean. Enrique also explained the whole process to us before starting the service. We would definitely recommend this team.

Updating my previous review.I signed up for a membership last year and am finding it well worth it as it offers a solid discount on all of the work. Had a maintenance visit today with Anthony Manzo and Angel O to service my AC unit. They went about their work efficiently and were very transparent in describing the condition of everything they found with thorough explanations and pictures. There were a few parts that were getting a little older, but they were honest in saying none of it had to be done today. No hard sell. Nevertheless, I decided to replace the alternator as that was using extra electricity to start up our AC (which we use pretty heavily) and was taxing the other parts. All in all, a very good visit by their technicians. I renewed my membership out my satisfaction. Thank you Brody Pennell!old review:Very good experience with air conditioning and heater servicing. All of these reviews must be fake. This company sent a very nice guy out the first day who wasn’t able to locate my ac unit. The second day they sent two guys, they still weren’t able to locate my ac unit ( I live in a condo, I guess it’s very hard to locate) The thing that I have a problem with is management. I called asking to schedule a third day even though that’s beyond ridiculous and shouldn’t be needed and the office staff was pretty rude. Mind you the office should have been the one to call me not the other way around. They said one of the two managers would call me which has yet to happen. After the second day being another bust I would have respected if the manager or even office called to apologize and tell me my options. Now I’m going through another company because these people don’t value their customers enough to give them a call to discuss their own failures and how they can make them right.

Can’t say enough good things about Brody Pennell and David Mares, our service technician who came out. He was INCREDIBLY thorough and took the time explain everything. Felt he really cared like it was his own HVAC system. He’s super knowledgeable too. He brought a lead tech, Brett Turner out the next day to do an even more thorough inspection on our 24 yo HVAC. JUAN MOLINA was very thorough in his assessment of three Air Conditioning units across three apartments. It was a routine service. He pointed out issues in one particular unit that could help save energy, bills and not burn out the unit since it is an older one. He showed me pictures, explained things carefully and patiently. I am very happy with the service he provided. Thank you Juan.MARCO came by to service three AC units across three different apartments. He was very kind, professional and extremely thorough in his assessment of the health of each AC/Heating unit. I felt like I was in good hands with him because he was transparent about any issues and pointed out how we can improve the units. Hope he returns here again for seasonal maintenance in the Spring. The air conditioning was not cooling and he discovered a leak. We set up a time to get an estimate for installing a new unit after twelve years with this one.

Juan Romo checked my heater in great detail today and gave me a full report on its welfare. He has suggested the repair of the heat exchanger due to wear and tear . We’d worked with three different HVAC companies prior to Brody Pennell (BP). We were told about a ton of issues and expensive fixes, including replacing the unit which is only 5 years old.We worked with Spencer from BP and he was great, helping us understand why the air had a faint odor. He was super thorough, took photos and videos explaining the work, and echoed what we knew about our unit - it’s not old, but it needs regular maintenance.Spencer triple cleaned our machine and the smell is gone. He wasn’t trying to sell us on work we didn’t need. It was affordable and effective which is really what’s important, he’s also an amiable guy.Five stars. I recommend.

They not only checked to make sure everything in the heating system was in good shape, but I asked if there was a fan mode (with no heating or cooling) and they showed me how to turn it on and off. When on, I could feel the air, but only a small amount, so I asked and they made the fan blow a bit more strongly to where I wanted it. Great job!

My husband and I both experienced vertigo and headaches. We found out carbon monoxide was in our AC and Heating Unit and we wanted to get a replacement asap because of our health.
