Smartly-designed and well made kit, yes, but thats only part of the story. Whats more important to me in a brand is their customer support. When you call to find a small screw thats missing from your mattebox of ten years-- and they ship it out same day. A detail that small is what sets great companies apart.

I’m a big fan of Bright Tangerine’s products and customer service. Both are top notch. I own quite of few products for my Dragon-X and V-Raptor. The Manfrotto plate I got with my Raptor Leftfield system did not fit with my Manfrotto style tripod heads. I sent an email to BT customer service, got a response and showed them what the issue was. All the way back in the UK, Andy custom made a Manfrotto plate that only needed minor adjustments and sent it out to the US. Free of charge. The plate now fits seamlessly and I can quickly go from handheld to rod support to tripod to slider, etc. Amazing customer service. Amazing products. They are my goto camera system company for any additional needs that will come up in the future.

Bright Tangerines equipment has always been top-notch.But their customer service is even better. We had a small issue with a rig being used in difficult conditions in Africa. They troubleshot the issue over a video call, and then couriered a replacement, custom-made part out that solved our issue.Great service, and an easy recommendation.

Bright Tangerine makes top notch gear and offers even greater customer support. I bought a dovetail plate for the Red Komodo and DJI RS2 last year, which no longer would fit on the updated RS3 Pro. They worked with me to figure out why the older plate would not fit, then custom made a new plate to solve for the issue. They are an incredible team and have a life-long customer in me.

For me, customer service is nearly as important as the quality of the product. I reached out to Bright Tangerine for help in selecting the perfect matte box for my needs. I was very pleased to receive an email the same day and was able to set up a call where they walked me through all of my options. Stunning customer service! I lost a couple of flag tightening knobs on my Strummer DNA so I dropped Bright Tangerine an email to get a parts number so I could order replacements. Instead of just sending me the part number, they actually called to confirm what I needed and promptly mailed me the knobs. Not just the two I needed but they even included a couple of spares! Not stopping there, they even contacted me to make sure I received the knobs! Bright Tangerine has always made high quality products but now I can add high quality service to the reasons I enjoy using them.

As a small rental company, my equipment takes some wear and tear and occasional small accessories or screws get lost in the chaos of video production. This happened to one of my Bright Tangerine products. I emailed Bright Tangerines customer support expecting the typically basic redirect to information that was already online. What I got in exchange was unparalleled customer support and service.Elaine Withers answered my questions and helped me obtain the pieces I need to get my matte box back out on rentals. Its this level of customer support that all customers and consumers should consider when buying any piece of equipment. Things get misplaced, lost or break. It happens. I have been a fan of Bright Tangerine products ever since their fist matte boxes came out years ago. Their innovation on standard industry products has always been impressive.My recent interaction with them has only solidified my love. 😍 I emailed customer service with a question about an order and within an hour I was getting emails from both the head of sales and head of marketing. 30 minutes later, they asked if they could call! We had a nice chat and quickly clarified my issue. And this was all at 8:00 AT NIGHT, definitely not within regular business hours!The complete opposite of that is that I’ve also recently been dealing with customer service from the biggest player in the film business and to put it mildly, it has been a rocky road and a LONG series of emails over several weeks. They make nice stuff, but if you want great products AND small business-like, personal, helpful service, Bright Tangerine is the only game in town.My camera looks like it was built by Bright Tangerine at this point because I have so many of their products hanging off it.I recently bought a misfit kick matte box and I love it. It’s a super solid, extremely well built, well thought out, quality piece of kit. The attention to detail, quality, functionality and usability at that price point is beyond anything else I’ve seen on the market.The titan 11 arm is the strongest, most versatile arm I’ve ever used.I also have the left field top, bottom, and side plate for the Alexa mini (I’m using it on my mini LF) and I love how minimal and light weight it can make my camera build and that it all integrates with the standard arri stuff as well so you can mix and match.Their drumstix are freakishly light and super strong. I pull stainless steel rods off the other camera on set and dropped it because I wasn’t prepared for how heavy they were compared to what I’m used to, haha.One last thing that really impressed me...I ordered some of their stuff from B&H Photo in New York as well as some stuff directly off the bright tangerine website. I went through B&H because I needed it fast and I thought coming from the UK would delay things a couple days at least since I live in the US. I placed the orders the same night with whatever was the free standard shipping and lo and behold three days later both packages (one from B&H in New York and one from Bright Tangerine in the UK) arrived on my doorstep within an hour of each other!I honestly can’t say enough about the quality of their products and the amazing customer support and service. 👍👍

This company is awesome. Ive purchased their DNA mattebox when it first came out in 2015 and its held up famously. They have been supportive day one, with even a video skype call and shipping out replacement parts with a quick turnaround. They dont hesitate to answer emails and answered all my questions. Thats a company you want to have in your corner when youve got a film production bearing down on you. When I replace my old Chrosziel follow focus, Im going with Bright Tangerine because I know I can count on them.

Not only are their products beautifully designed and made, but they truly stand behind their work.I bought their AXL EVF mount from a 3rd party retailer which arrived out of spec. After contacting BT, Andy and Rob immediately reached out and helped me troubleshoot. After determining the issue, they set up a return and service work order for me back to the UK under warrantee. I got my freshly serviced AXL back in a blazing fast 2 weeks - a 6,000mi international round trip, including repair work!Also, many years ago at a trade show, I met Rob for the first time at the BT booth and mentioned that my beloved BT ‘Rabone’ Tape Measure wind crank had a busted latch, due to an overzealous camera assistant playing with it. Rob immediately offered me a new one from the booth on the spot. He only had two left, but he was willing to give one away. Ultimately I declined the offer, as I thought it should go to an AC who really needed one. Upgraded my cheap plastic follow focus that had lots of play, making subtle focusing next to impossible to achieve. In addition to picking up the Revolvr Atom Follow Focus, I picked up a few accessories as well. Outstanding build quality and thoughtfulness put into all of Bright Tangerines products, so its a no brainer. Also, it was absolutely a pleasure working with Rob. I own the Misfit Atom matte box, and a Titan arm. The matte box has been great so far, but the TITAN is worthy of a review:Theres no contest. Bright Tangerine hit this one out of the park. Ive used a variety of support arms over the years, mainly to hold small monitors mounted to cameras, and all of them had some annoying flaw. Theyd either come loose too easily, strip the threads on the camera, break, etc. The TITAN is a beast, it can hold anything you put on it, and it hasnt damaged any of my gear yet (after 2 years of use).Even better, it has some special tech inside that allows you to still change its orientation (along any axis) even when its not fully tightened, and it still doesnt come loose or fall. Amazing. Only downside: its heavier than other arms. I really hope Bright Tangerine release a smaller model with lighter weight.Customer service has also been top notch.

I knew I would be want more of this quality, so within days I found myself browsing the BrightTangerine website. I know…. I know… :-)After a couple of days I decided to make a purchase. I was so excited to receive my package, then for whatever reason the package did not arrive. The delivery error was because of the delivery carrier, NOT because of BrightTangerine. Nonetheless, I was very upset. So, I decided to send an email early Saturday morning.Within 1 hour of sending the email I received a personal response, from Rob, about my delivery. I had no idea if I would ever get a response, but I did within an hour. I was surprised yet super happy to receive an email so fast.Rob not only responded to me promptly, he was already preparing a replacement package to be resent to me.From the time I lost my package until I received my new package was less than a week. Been using my Titan arm for about a year now and it continues to be one of the items that goes with me everywhere, its super solid, holds the monitor just where i need it but also lets me reposition quickly. in fact the arm is so strong that i can use it as a handle and literally pick up the camera (red gemini) from just the arm, amazing! since then ive added a Bright Tangerine matte box and other accessories, im loving this company, super solid stuff thats built for people who work and travel all the time with their gear.

Encountered a problem with my cloth tape measure (Tape ripped off near the hook). I talked to Elaine, told her that I thought the failure was premature, and she promptly sent me another tape refill with clear directions on how to do the replacement. Great customer service! The quality of the matte boxes aren’t even comparable. However the service department is even better. Blown away at home fast they were to help and get some gear repaired when I needed it.

Top-notch customer service. I wrote them an email inquiring about a niche part that I was having trouble tracking down online. I got a response within minutes, and was on the phone with Rob within the hour. Shortly after that, he was able to find what I was looking for, and sent it via post. These folks went above and beyond, and I would be happy to do business with them again.
