This theatre is so dirty. There is never soap in the bathrooms, the chairs are falling apart and dirty, there is always a huge mess at the condiment stations. Prices are crazy. Something needs to be done. Maybe new management. Just nasty!

Dont get to the movies very much anymore, I was shocked at how roached out the seats are. I had to put my coat down because I didnt want my head aginst the cracked out and what ever the black crud was.Does Brendans model not think that keeping up on the equipment is important? What about some sort of removable covers that could be pulled between viewings?Whatever, reminds me why I dont get to the movies much.

Im an avid movie-goer and this theater is usually where I go, unless I have to leave town for an limited release. But after these last two weekends, I cannot fathom coming back here in good conscience. The lack of attention to the horrifyingly disgusting bathrooms is insane, making me question what in the absolute hell is the staff doing? There are stalls in the mens room with literal feces smeared all over the floor, walls, & toilet seats. People who do that in public bathrooms deserve the hottest seat in hell.

Absolutely filthy from the ground up! This establishment feels like one giant truck stop bathroom that hasnt been cleaned in years. Zero regard for cleanliness in any and every area. Floors, concessions, doors, seats, glass, filth everywhere. We tried taking our kids to the restroom during the movie. There were FECES on the floor in one, zero soap in the other, and HOT AIR blowing hard throughout both. Front kiosks create immediate congestion as soon as you enter. Not worth the money, at all.

Update We were so disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience. We bought 8 tickets to only be disappointed that half of the recliners were broken and not working. Then my husband had to inform them that the surround sound was not on while the movie was starting. Then we went to refill our popcorn bin and our large soda and werent told they stopped doing refills 6 months ago. Each popcorn bin is $10 and the Large drink $7 and if you want to refill you need to repurchase both popcorn and soda so additional $17.The bathroom weas dirty, the stalls leaking, 1-2 dispenser for soap. So overall it was just gross and very disappointing. We usually choose this theater over Edwards for the quality of service and experience. I doubt we will be returning.My experience was absolutely amazing with all the staff. They are alot more expensive than Edwards but you get what you pay for. You have to pay for your refills for Popcorn and the drink $2 each. On the plus side the reclining chairs are so comfortable and there is so much space from others. The staff was very kind and helpful after I accidentally spilled my drink all over me and the chair. They came and assisted me by cleaning up the mess immdetialy. Again you get what you pay for a more upscale movie theater. I would definitely go back.

Been going here since it opened. Better than going to Edwards in Fairfield, yuck! Brenden its clean 90% of the time and everyone is friendly. The recliner chairs are super nice and comfy. Some are pretty worn on the headrest part. There has been a few times where the recliner didnt work BUT they fixed it, moved me or gave me a free movie ticket for the inconvenience. By the way they have Fentons Ice Cream there!!! (And bear and margaritas if thats your thing.) When there busy it gets a little messy and bathrooms need attention but for the most part they have plenty of people there working who are on it pretty quickly.

You can just walk in without anyone checking your ticket now apparently. They’re letting 8-10 year olds just come into R rated movies. Ruined the entire movie experience cause they would not be quiet. Great use of $30 for tickets.

Very unclean and unorganized theater. No one even looked at my ticket, I could have easily just walked in and watched a movie for free . The theater itself was dirty—the floor was sticky and I had to dust off my seat to sit down. The reclining seats are nice and the snacks seemed to be an average price.Update : i decided to give it another try for lack of another option: it was worse . The snack bar was literally out of everything, again no one checked my ticket and it wasn’t any cleaner. There were about 6 workers behind the snack bar standing around talking. I wouldn’t be surprised if this theater closes if someone doesn’t change the culture

The reclining chairs and stuffed cushions were excellent! They could use some protective, machine-washable cloth covers for the head rests, like they have on airplanes. The wear and tear they endure is quite noticable. The noise from the neighbor screens was so loud at times that it became detrimental to hearing our own movie, ruining quieter dramatic moments. The floors everywhere were pretty dirty, especially in the lobby and bathroom, but the staff were friendly and helpful!

Dated, Overpriced, and Disgusting Theater. I generally do not write 1 star reviews but after my visit to the theater I thought it deserved one. To start you have to use a self check in kiosk which is very glitchy (should have known since the theaters website to book tickets was also very glitchy). Next the concession stand looks like it is still stuck in the 2000’s with limited options. Additionally I went to use the restroom and there was a dirty cleaning rag left siting there on the sink. Once in the theater we were greeted with a very gross smell along with the lights turned on fully lighting up the full theater (theater 8). To my horror it showed full stains of soda or blood who knows at this point on the wall and not to mention the gross deteriorating seats that were literally peeling off red flakes as you sat in them. Also those bright lights they had on were left on through the beginning part of the movie (as pictured) and we had to ask them to turn them off. Luckily the movie was great which deterred me from thinking about how gross the theater was. We just moved from Vallejo and Brendan theaters has to take some notes from the century theater in vallejo because it’s 1000x better.

The seats were comfortable. We paid $80 for 4 people, and the place was filthy. The bathrooms were not clean. The carpet had sticky residue that stuck to my sons sneakers, and the trash cans were overflowing.

Great popcorn! You even have the option of beer, wine and frozen Margheritas. Hot dogs, nachos and I believe I saw an advertisement for street tacos. Seats are super comfy! Leather recliners. The only complaint I have about those are I get hot sitting in those things. That could be just me though.

TheReclining chairs would not fully recline for the first half hour of the movie and at the end of the movie. They wouldnt come back up. Whole place is short of shabby and rundown.

BEWARE!!!! If you are like us, and reeeeeeally looking forward to a grown-up date night at the movies with MARGARITAS, be aware that the entire bar is CLOSED during the week. I havent been out to see a movie in nearly ten years. Ridiculous, right? And the whole reason we picked this theater was the frozen margaritas we heard about. Its hard to describe the heartbreak when the attendant at the food counter broke the news (quite insensitively, I might add). If this theater charges a set price for their experience advertised to include liquor, its pretty disappointing that you pay the same price on weeknights but dont get the same experience. Especially when you can see that the margarita machine is still full and on behind the counter. Oh well, we made do and the movie was cool....After we went and told the manager that somebody needed to turn the movie on in our screen-room lol. Yeah, since we were the only people who were there to watch this particular movie, nobody bothered to turn it on until we had to ask management for help. BUT the manager did immediately turn the movie on when asked, and the seats were comfortable, and luckily, the movie was good. So well try again (hopefully before another ten years goes by) on a weekend so we can get the full experience were paying for.

This is such an incredible theater. I absolutely love it; however, my last couple of times have been total disasters. On the first of my recent visits a woman’s phone shot a direct line of light right into my face and she was on the phone the entire time, so why was she even in the theater.The second one had a couple to my left three seats away who talked the entire time. I was absolutely livid with all of this lunacy. (If you’re not going to go to the theater and keep your mouth shut and your phone off ~stay home please!!! )

This is a fantastic local, family-owned movie theater. The awesome and comfy reclining seats, delicious popcorn, and ice cream make for a delightful movie experience. They also display calorie counts, showing their consideration for patrons health. With friendly staff and a great atmosphere, this top-notch theater is a must-visit for enjoyable film outings. I come here both on weekends and week days and I am usually always avle to find parking too, so thats a plus. Highly recommend.

I have been here many times before. The reclining seats are nothing new to me. Everything seemed very clean. We used to take our grandkids here buying the big bucket deal. Now the big bucket is a separate deal. Today I went alone to see The Sound of Freedom. Any parent or grandparent needs to see this movie. We know how precious these innocent souls are.

Pretty good movie theatre. Reclining chairs, huge bathrooms, great sound system, plenty of snacks to choose from including alcohol. Wouldn’t recommend sitting on the secluded two reclining chairs in the sides of theaters though. Your view will be blocked by the railing and if the movie is fully booked you have no other option.

I had to change seats because my seat didnt recline. If I hadnt been to a mostly empty showing where most/all seats were reserved, that might have been a problem. I also found the food prices pretty high, but to be fair, I hadnt been to a movie in person for many months, so maybe all theaters are that high now.

My friends and I went to go see the NEW trolls movie in theaters. The movie was suppose to start at 6pm but the movie still didnt start even 45 minutes later, no ads or anything. Just a blank screen. We ended up leaving in the end.. Cant believe it, Brenden Theaters needs to step it up

Horrible movie theater. When show ended we were trapped in our seats. Electronic seats!!!!!There must of been 20 people stuck. When finally crawled out and seat would not go down and had to crawl out with assistance from a stranger I headed to customer service.The woman there said they are aware of issue and battery old and when all put seat down at end of movie they get stuck 5 to 10 mins . For real🥴How does one sell seats if are aware of issue and what if a fire?Never again this theater!

Came tonight to watch Barbie in theater #10 and it was not cleaned after the last movie! Table trays are dirty, popcorn everywhere, butter marks on the floor that werent mopped or wiped up (wonderful trip and fall sue situation just waiting) and the seats are dingy, goodluck if you get a seat that works, and overpriced. Rundown, dirty, and nasty theatre.

I have not been to the movies in a really really long time and I cannot tell you how great the experience was. They have fully reclining seats which are super plush and comfortable. They have food trays that slide over so that you dont have to hold everything in your hands and the sound system was amazing!

I live one town over, but always come here instead of my local movie theater. They have reclining seats which is my favorite. Expensive snacks & limited selection (no warm foods; just pretzels, popcorn, and hot dogs) but that is pretty standard now. Steady heating & cooling inside the theater. And Ive always encountered kind and good workers. They also serve alcohol & sodas.

Let customer service know it was really warm in the theater, response was that nothing changed including temp according to thermostat…that doesn’t change how hot it was in there, wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Try listening to your customers to give them a great experience instead of saying the temp hadn’t changed.

One of the most expensive theaters in the area, and there are always issues, usually with the sound. It always sounds like only the front speakers are on, there is no bass, and it pierces your ears. Also, the keep the lights on for the previews. Who does that?? Sure, they have recliner seats, but Id gladly sit in old theater seats for a better screen and sound experience.

Honestly, Vacaville Brenden seems to have gone downhill, sadly. The bathrooms were a mess. We had to wait to go in because they were *cleaning* the theater, yet there was popcorn and trash around. My husbands recliner didnt work, and when they played the previews, there was audio but no video. For the price charged, Brenden Vacaville needs to step up. Otherwise, we could just stay home and stream.

I really like having a theater in the same town I live in. I almost always go to the mattinee. Always get a large popcorn and spilt it. Nine times out of ten, the butter is not hot. This makes the popcorn taste weird.I gave the theater 3 stars, because after the movie, the seat would not recline down. I had to have assistance getting up. Glad my brother was there. I noticed in the theater, that there were a lot of chairs not reclined down. Seems Luke they should regularly test them, to make sure they work.

Finally got to see Top Gun! First time in this theater. Large wide open corridors. Reasonable snack prices. Comfortable seats. Wide aisles. Would have liked to see the credits without the house lights going on. It seemed like they wanted to rush us out. Show had good crowd for being out 3 weeks.

Very small theaters...that is a good thing! Only 5 or 6 rows, so not super crowded. Reserved seats and seriously awesome electric fully reclining seats! It even has a swivel table for your snacks, and the arm rests between every 2 seats lift up so you can cuddle. So comfortable and luxurious. My new favorite theater.

They finally did it. They phased out the original Large popcorn, replacing the Large size with the existing Medium, and raising the price of both options as well. Sheesh. All to push their new cinema club deal with a plastic bucket you can keep and get discounted refills on for the year.Edit 7/23/2023:Purchased mission impossible tickets on fandango...Apparently fandango double booked the seats and we happened to miss out by just a few minutes because somebody was in our seats when we arrived. We had already purchased our concessions so Fandango really screwed us over. Fortunately, the MOD, Bree, helped us out and gave us ReAdmission for another day. Then she went a step above and beyond and refunded our concessions since we couldnt enjoy them with our movie.Fandango ruined our movie experience today, but fortunately Brenden Theatres provided an amazing customer service representative to help us deal with this inconvenience. Thanks again, Bree!Cant wait to use our tickets to watch the new MI flick!

They need to work on the cleanliness of this theater. On a slow Thursday night the straw and butter for the popcorn area absolutely a mess and no one on the hallway. It happens a lot. Also, the carpet full of popcorn in the hallway… baths absolutely dirty. The photos attached are from the men’s bathroom. Dust in the bathrooms over the urinals is so bad. Ive been going here for a long time and was so happy to see some of the renovations the had to seats. They still have that original feel but more comfortable, better spacing and even a lid for the popcorn so I can shake it when I put salt and butter in and I was so happy! Brenden theatre in Vacaville is our family “go to” theatre. Been going there for almost 4 years. Always clean and comfortable throughout the entire complex. The staff is Disney level customer service. The Assistant Manager Zach is a true professional. As well as Brian and Doug are always friendly and help my family find our right theatre. I could go on about the staff, thank you all for the enjoyable experience every time we visit!

It feels like the convenience fee is mainly convenient for the merchant selling the ticket and the theater, not the customer. I feel bad for the workers. One complained about how understaffed they are and have multiple theaters to clean in between. Then at the end of the movie one worker came in at the credits and yelled ITS OVER and stared at everyone with a rude face to whoever decided to wait at the end credits. Do better.

I absolutely love this theatre. The reclining chairs, awesome sound system, screen is a good size and its comfortable. The food here is probably the best theatre food. I bought a pretzel one time and was surprised on how good it was. Only 2 complaints I have are no IMAX and you dont have the option to pull up the arm rest to cuddle up with a significant other.

This theater is very nice. All the seats in the theater recline, except for the ones in the very back row. Even if you use the back row you have a great view. The lobby is clean, the prices arent that bad, and matinee pricing is only $8. Definitely worth it. And they have a wide variety of movies

What really caught me off guard were some of the little details, the lid for the popcorn bucket for example. Ive been going to this movie theater for almost 14 years now and Ive never had any complaints. We always buy tickets in advance and I love the fact that Brenden Theaters has reserved seating. Makes it very convenient so you dont have to rush to find the best seats. Another great feature is the fact that they have a self-buttering station and if youre a butter-lover like me, this is definitely a necessity to a perfect movie-watching experience! One last thing I can add is that they have reclining seats with a small swing table! So you can adjust your seat to a comfortable position AND you dont have to worry about any drippy drinks or oily popcorn getting all over your clothes! Hope you enjoy your movie! (Dont worry. Yay for reserved seating! The seats are so nice now, and you dont have to worry about getting there 30 minutes early. The seats have a good foot of space to walk to get to seats, so you arent stepping on peoples feet, and can clearly see where youre going. They fully recline and have a little tray that swings in front of you for your food stuffs. They just opened up a part of concessions that serves beer, with a little area blocked off to drink it in. I visit family here several times a year and we all like movies. Seats are great! Staff very friendly. My only complaint is with the concessions. Way over priced. Popcorn pre-bagged. Have to put your own butter on it and no matter how much you put on, you are going to run out of butter way before you run out of popcorn. So, you either have to get up during the movie to add more or do without. The theaters I usually go to will fill the container when you order and layer the popcorn and butter as they go..much better. Unfortunately, we went to see the new James bond movie. (Good Movie) I wont tell you anything about it now. The lack of staff was very evident, the theater itself was very dirty. This theater had been fully upgraded over the past year! They now offer push-button reclining leather seats in all the auditoriums. The seats also come with tray attachments to enjoy your refreshments. The surround sound is amazing and you can feel the rumble of the subwoofer, which fully immerses you into the movie. I highly suggest you pre-purchase tickets in Fandango to reserve your seats, which in my opinion is better than first come first serve. You can avoid the convenience fee if you buy at the box office, but you risk the chance of not getting the seats you like since its all reserved seating.

I talked to the manager and he said he would send over security and they never showed up. So I don’t know where the disconnect was, but I’m very disappointed in this experience. Three people in the front, literally the first row, were on their phones the whole movie! It sucks because I generally prefer this theatre because of the super comfortable reclining seats. Nice theater. You can reserve seats, has new seats that recline with swiveling table. Popcorn was good and the employees seemed to actually know what they were doing at the concession stand unlike most theaters

This was a really awesome theater experience. Loved that they serve beer and wine and the reclining seats were amazing, and new for me. Really made it comfortable to watch movies here. It is better than my former favorite theater. Wish the popcorn was cheaper, but a t lwast it had self-buttering stations available for customers. The location is also nearly perfect and was very easy to reach and to find parking. I hope to come back to this theater manjy times!

I love their new seats! I can actually enjoy a movie now that I can lay back and put my feet up in a comfy chair. They even have trays attached to the seats for you to put your food and drinks on

Theater is pretty old and you can definitely tell, but they are trying to renovate and make it better. The new recliner seats are definitely a plus. If they continue with these changes, I would say its a 4 star theater!

Open! Open! Open! Oh how I love the movies. The seats recline, and the spacing is great. You will always get a fantastic view of the screen. The snacks and soda are always there for you if you dont hide your own in your wife purse. You have to get there popcorn. You can get as much butter as you want because you do it yourself, but make sure that you get another box to put about ½ of the popcorn into it so you can layer the butter in. I like a bit of extra salt as well, layered in of course. The only thing I dont like is getting the tickets online and that silly convenience fee Enjoy the movies

Ive always liked this theatre. But the new assigned seating with recliners isnt doing it for me. Same as other places like century 14 Vallejo. They are not that comfortable imo. Material makes you get hot easy and sweat. Recliner makes me want to sleep and 10- 20$ wasted to nap at your theatre is redonkulous. Nice enough theatre, bad choice seating!

This theater is really good as far as the amenities. The customer service needs a little work. When there is a long line, I feel as if everyone back there should man a register to help. The reserved seating and reclining chairs are a definite plus.

Electric Leather Recliners, Beer and reserved seating are pretty much perfect. They got 4 stars because they did not upgrade their SCREENS when they renovated. Some are marred or have a scratch which is hard to ignore when are watching a movie.

I love this theater, yes it is a couple years old and it shows here and there, but all in all, great service, Brenden employees so far have been great, place is pretty clean and kept up, great place to take a family. do not know why the other person wrote thug element, no! Yes a variety of people. But no problems like other cities. People come here to enjoy a good movie,. yes one down fall for me they only carry one Diet soda, Pepsi, and that is it, have asked that they have 50/50 selection. but so far has not changed. Prices are average. but yes concession prices a bit high for popcorn, but prices average as other theaters prices also. so not big differences. I still stay all theaters prices on concessions are high. Convenient, close to freeway, different types of restaurants, ice cream shops. But Brenden thank you for the great times, (yes multitude and will continue going here) at your theater.

Brenden Theaters is one of my favorite places to go for a date night! The theaters with reclining seats and reserved seating has been an awesome new experience. They recently also added an adult section to the snack bar and it now serves beer and wine. Snack prices are comprable to any other movie theater snack prices and I personally enjoy the hot soft pretzels.

I just saw Avengers Infinity War on their JBX sound system and it seems the same as the regular surround. The 7.1 system left me wanting more as if it wasnt calibrated very well. Nice theatre although the recliner seats always hurt my back even after multiple visits!

With reserved seating, you can plan your movie with assurance. I am not a fan of them charging full price for new movies even before 6 p.m. but matinee pricing begins again after the initial weekend.

Crowded. But passes from over a decade ago were still honored without the bat of an eye... Massive parking lot stuffed to the gills with land-yachts of every make and model which in turn were packed like clown cars with folks going to town at eateries prior to filling up on the good ol colon cleansing combo of soda and oil laden Popcorn. Film was great when not taking into account 37 minutes of projection issues, seats were amazing in spite of being the last ones an hour and a half prior to previews beginning. I understand cost efficient advertising for local businesses, but the theater could have chosen not to take $ and not run effervescent but slightly uncouth religious ads.

Came here to watch captain marvel! I love the seats they have! I hadnt been to see a movie in theaters since dr strange came out and wow have things changed! Super comfortable even though I was up at the screen.

We have been going here since I was a child, and I worked here for 6 months in college. Great movie selection, RIDICULOUSLY comfortable reclining seating, great concessions, theyre more snacks, my favorite thing to eat is 2 lightly salted pretzels with 4 sides of nacho cheese, and my Momma gets popcorn. We always have a good time here, and if you dont like the movie or cant watch it (I had a family come in to see Gran Torino when I worked there and they had their 12 year old daughter with them, I was the ticket taker that day and the mother and daughter came up and explained she couldnt allow her daughter to watch it, I found them a movie appropriate for her child to see and escorted them in) they will accommodate your needs. If you need help carrying concessions, ask them and theyll help you (I always did).

Brenden theatres is in a convenient location right off the interstate and theres an ice skating rink right around the corner (in the same parking lot) which is great for birthday parties. The staff is courteous and friendly and the screens are a decent size. Popcorn refills are a buck and the concessions, apart from being pricey like any other movie theater, tastes good.

Wow! Great and comfortable seats, I have a favorite movie theater now. Tonight was my first time here at the Brenden Theater, I usually go to Fairfields theater Edwards theater, but I must say the seats are more enjoyable and relaxing and that is very important for me especially when it comes to watching movies. Thank you Brenden Theaters for a fun night out when one of my friends Chris Wiegand- a teacher at Armijo High School and and Author of the Gift Bringer- a Christmas book on saint Nicolas.We saw Maleficent 2 tonight, what an excellent movie. Beautiful story about unity, acceptance, and love, as well as evolving. Very inspiring and I definitely look forward to seeing more great movies here at the Brenden Movie theater. We enjoyed some delicious popcorn, red vines, and large drinks. What a fabulous time we had. I am truly grateful thank you. I highly recommend this theater because the seats and its super clean inside the theater a must come bring all your friends and family and wow! Nice clean theater. Electric leather recliners in all screen rooms. Screen 12 does have this black mark on the screen. Its on the right middle of the screen. Once you see it, you cant unsee it until your brain subconsciously ignores it.

Hot dogs came up short, literally and figuratively. Buns were way dried out and awaiting burial. So dont get the dogs, tacos better a option. However, the seat recliners are roomy and good.
