What has continually WOWed me throughout 2+ years as a student here is how my coaches have always gone the extra mile.My writing lab coach, Christina, has frequently gone overtime with me, graciously giving more than our scheduled hour to finish up essays. Shes such a genuine listener; and in drafting essays, her attention shows when she hears your thoughts, then strings a sentence to better convey it, whilst always keeping the original essence. Being able to work with her for a year has been tremendously instrumental in attaining college admissions and scholarships, and an absolute pleasure every session.The greatest support in my past two years from BTC has been from Coach Dee. Coach Dee is always one text away, one call away, willing to hear and help during tough times, and share the happy moments. Astute at recognizing peoples situations for what they are, shes also always been honest in pointing out slack. Many times, shes called me out for not giving my full effort; simultaneously, she perfectly harmonizes criticism and encouragement everytime. Shes continually motivated me during our conversations over phone, or in her office, or even at lunch together.Writing this from my college dorm as an incoming freshman, Im immensely grateful that Breakthrough has not only helped me enter one of my dream universities with scholarship, but has helped me feel confident about succeeding here moving forward.

My daughter has attended this program for five years now, starting with the middle school speech class and entrepreneurshup program. From these experiences, shes learned so many skills not only about writing but also how to interact as a team and be a leader. The coaches there are very professional in their writing and speech but also very kind and considerate for every single student. We are very grateful to have found this program.

I am a student of BTC, and my experience here? Terrific.The workshops are amazing - coaches give you one on one time for things you want to work on. Every. Single. Week. (if you want)Not to mention that the coaches are all talented in different fields, allowing us to gain insight from many angles.The classes are also amazing too! Essay class teaches you the methods of writing - yes, different from English classes.And the entrepreneurship class have coaches and guests, working in different fields and dealing with different markets, to offer us advices as to how we will manage our own projects. Personally, it was the first time I dealt with proposal and leading a team, so I had much to learn.Tl;dr: Great coaches, great classes, highly recommended.

I have been in the Breakthrough Training Center for four years. In 2020, I start my college application progress with coaches in Breakthrough. Nearly finished all the steps it takes, I felt it help me a lot. The only problem was during the COVID time there is some hardness in doing a class online and writing. Despite that from the writing class, entrepreneurship, college application class I have taken it was a great and amazing experience. I am a shy person the participation in these class help me build confidence and I am more open and able to speak out. Overall, this place worth the time you spent in it.

This school will be of great benefit to your university process, and all coaches will do their best to provide teaching and guidance for you to write a college thesis. I have been a student at breakthrough center for close to 4 years. I think that the classes are very useful and I have learned a lot from attending the classes. My writing and presentation skills have improved a lot and the coaches are very friendly. Breakthrough offers many different classes for different age groups that are useful for childrens future development and I think the amount of money spent will come back more to me in the future with the skills Ive learned.

Joining BTC is one of the wisest decisions Ive ever made. It not only taught me the skills I need to be admitted to and survive the university of my dreams, but gave me versatile tools that I can employ throughout my professional career. BTC is so far the best and only supplemental course I would recommend to middle school and high school students.

I’ve been more confident in writing and speaking. Coaches really care about every student. They always encourage us, which makes me feel like I can do better. I’m really glad that I have them by my side to teach me important skills, and I’m grateful for that.

As a new immigrant, my English is not good, I don’t know much about the American education system, and I know nothing about applying to American universities. After my child entered the 10th grade, during the epidemic, my child was taking online classes, and I began to worry about his going to college. After consulting several college admissions guidance agencies, I have a certain understanding of how to go to college in the United States, but I still have some doubts and feel that there is still something missing. Until I met Director Zhou, and in a short 45-minute conversation with her, she answered all my questions and made me suddenly enlightened. Haojie not only helps students plan for further studies and guides college essays, but also cultivates students with strong writing, communication, leadership skills, and humanistic qualities, allowing students to strive for admission to top private universities in the United States and obtain high scholarships. My daughter entered the Hero Training Center in grade 10. Three years of study made her make great progress in all aspects. In the entrepreneur training course, her presentation skills, teamwork spirit, creativity and other aspects were continuously improved during her studies; in the university application course, her writing and communication skills were effectively trained; in the interview training at Coach Daisy Zhongyou constantly improves herself and enhances her self-confidence. I am very lucky to know Director Zhou. My two children have received her guidance and help. My son participated in their writing class in grade 10. He felt that Director Zhou was different from other teachers. She was both a teacher and a friend. He would first understand the childrens ideas and then give them suggestions. The child didnt know about Boston University at first. Director Zhou felt that this school was very suitable for him, so he encouraged him to visit the school. After my son went there, he liked that school very much and regarded it as his favorite university. After he came back, he wrote his thesis seriously. My son started taking college application courses and entrepreneurship courses at the Hero Training Center in grade 12. In these two courses, I saw his change and growth.As a first-generation immigrant, I have no entrepreneurial experience or background. The Hero Entrepreneurship Course taught my children how to build a brand, conduct market research, market products, and participate in entrepreneurship competitions at UCLA.When I saw him and other kids in the class, who were originally young and fearful, but after training, they bravely stood on the UCLA stage to promote their brand and talk, my mother sitting in the audience almost burst into tears.My son has now successfully entered university. Let me talk about what my daughter has gained in the past few years in Hero. We are new immigrants. When my daughter was in grade 9, I accidentally listened to the radio and heard Director Zhou introduce the philosophy of Hero. It gave me a refreshing feeling. It was different from what I had heard before. The sound was different, so I made an appointment and wanted to give it a try. After my daughter chatted with Coach Daisy, she told me that she liked it here. I started taking Haojiesou courses, writing courses - entrepreneur courses - college application courses. Through these training courses, my daughters writing and expression skills improved very quickly, especially the entrepreneur courses, which improved the child faster. From the beginning From participating in the teams of other students to being the leader of my own team, I saw my daughter go from being shy to being generous when giving speeches. Unknowingly, her independent thinking and leadership skills were improved. It’s a pity that I couldn’t take an entrepreneurship course this year because my 12th grade students were busy applying for universities. Hero’s series of course training does not mean that you can see immediate results in the last session. The cultivation of abilities requires a period of absorption and precipitation.
