Love this place. We’ve been eating many times with my wife. What makes this restaurant unique is surely the dedication and love with which every meal is cooked. Carmen & Aurelian are great hosts and make you feel comfortable and taken care of. We will surely come back and bring friends and family. When you miss the flavors and taste of Mediterranean cuisine, Bravo Avo is the way to go! Tip: ask for the Saganaki and see Aurelian himself light it up in front of you at the sound of Opa!!!!!

We have dined in twice and this last time was not a great experience. It’s no wonder most of their business appears to be take out.Pros: friendly servers, everything tasted delicious, cozy restaurant, nice server. Best grilled eggplant (baba ganoush) in town. My son enjoyed the robot server.Cons:1. Service is slow. The first time we went at around 4p on a weekday to enjoy a bite before picking up our son. The service was so slow we had to take our entree to go so we didn’t miss pickup. Not sure why because we were the only ones there. The second time our second entree was completely missed after sitting at the table waiting for at least 30 minutes since ordering. When I first asked about it, it was explained that takeout orders are prioritized over dine in (which I don’t agree with). When I asked again it turns out that the machine did not print out the ticket machine did not print my order. The fact that my dish was on the online menu but not the printed one in the restaurant should have been a red flag. However this was not discovered until I asked a second time and she said that the kitchen said they were all done and asked if we wanted dessert? Not exactly sure why you would take the kitchen’s word over the starving customers with no food in front of them? After an hour our order was still not correct (see #2 below) and we had to leave to put my son to bed.2. Undercooked seafood. This was the worst offense. Came back a second time also on a weekday during dinner. Ordered the shrimp and salmon combo (the one that was super delayed - see #1). Not sure if it was the haste to bring out the meal quickly from being delayed or if that’s how it’s made but the shrimp was barely pink and translucent. Sent it back and I could hear the kitchen yelling about it. It came back exactly the same but with more sauce and vegetables on it. We did not eat it due to safety concerns because I was 6 months pregnant. Even my husband said he would not eat it and he eats everything ha. Was still charged the full $21 despite my dish basically missing half of the protein. The dish was meant to serve me and my son - both of us were starving and still left kind of hungry. It was the thing my son wanted most.3. Fries are an appetizer and not a side. This needs to be corrected as it doesn’t make sense. 99.9% of restaurants offer fries as a side. I shouldn’t have to buy a whole new appetizer for this.Overall we really want to support our local restaurants but instances like the above make it hard to justify. We were comped some baklava while we were waiting but not on our check which is disappointing. I would maybe try dining in one more time during weekend dinner which seems to be a focus or take out. We tried to be understanding about the situation but I do not feel comfortable recommending this place to anyone else or bringing anyone else until I see more consistent service and delivery.

Not big on Mediterranean/Greek food, but wife wanted to eat something healthy, so here I am. But I must say the food was great and very fresh. The pita bread was amazing and the chicken kabobs are the best I ever had. The chicken was marinated and cooked perfectly. My wife loved the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. And the salad was fresh and cold. This is definitely a family owned business. The owner was working the cash register and I believe his wife(?) was doing the cooking and she did a great job! We ordered the family meal deal and all the food was great. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I really liked the environment of the place. Also the cute curly head chef made my pita bread very well. Also the owners are very nice and sweet.

Surprisingly good for a place all the way up in Foothill Ranch. Their pita bread was soft, warm. The rice was very unique and tasty. The yogurt tzatziki was okay. The meats were also good. Tasted the lamb, beef, and chicken. Service was relatively fast and good.

This used to be our go to place for some good Greek food when we were in South Orange County. But the food servings have shrunk and the dine in atmosphere is not pleasant. Over priced food. We will not be going back!

Wonderful atmosphere, organic, delicious food,selected wines, impeccable service and educated and civilized owners. In conclusion, a special place, with good music and more than decent prices, which I wholeheartedly recommend!

Food was delicious. Rice was flavored perfectly, Chicken and steak was cooked perfectly. 1st timer will deffinetly be coming back!! Love the food!

Keto and Diabetic friendly dishes. This is a family business. The owner was very nice about customizing my order to fit dietary needs. Kebob combo with vegetables and double salad. No carbs, so no rice and no pita bread (by request). It was a bit pricey for the portion size, like $18. For that price, I would want at least one more Kebob since it doesnt have the rice and bread filler. However, the food was fresh. The salad had mixed greens, including baby Spinach...which you cant get anywhere these days.
