When it comes to festivals, nothing can top BottleRock. The cost versus the quality is better than them all. 3 days of great music, seeing bands you love and discovering new favorites. 3 days of endless choices in great food and drink. It is a perfect blend of music and culinary greatness. If you have never been, try a 1 day GA pass. Odds are, you’ll get the 3 day next time :)

The event itself was amazing! Wish there wouldve been better traffic control to get out. Leaving after the concert was over was a nightmare. Lesson learned! Other than that, it was a great experience and they had lots of fun areas to go explore for those that wanted to take a break or didnt like those on stage earlier in the day. Worth renting a locker to keep things safe and in 1 spot. Food was rather expensive, so Id recommend eating before coming in. If youre attending in the summer time, hydrate well and bring a fan/some form of shade to stay cool in this 80° heat. Bring a blanket or collapsible stool to sit on to help reduce fatigue.

Super hot. Bring your own empty water bottle. Bring a hat. And be aware of the overpriced food at small portion sizes. The lineup and music are incredible though and it is such a good deal for the bands and performers you get to see.

Love this venue. Plenty of room to get around from stage to stage. No riff raff, drunk shenanigans, or hooligans to spoil the show. Plenty of amazing food and drink options. Tons of sun. Lots of area to spread out a blanket. And above all, great bands!

Went on Sunday for Queens of the Stone Age specifically #lovethem! It was overall a good day but wish there were more interactive items and cool areas to walkthru like at outside lands. As it seems most is geared to needing to pay for the VIP areas. Even the portapotty speakeasy wasnt there to check out. Or more cool ways to support local wineries or give more opportunities to do specialized tastings to give more business to them.

I attended La Onda, and it was an amazing experience. The setup is great. I will definitely come back. The vendors presentation was great. Especially I had the privilege to try the Mexican American wines, and I was happy to support them. Great selection of wines. The food was also amazing.

By far the best outdoor music festival I’ve been to. Nothing bad to say except that it’s getting busier every year. First year was GA and every year after done VIP. Festival has artificial turf and wonderful seating areas. So many things to do and visit. This is a highly recommended event. Always torn what to see on each stage being that the big acts are not really staggered schedule wise. If you can get ahold of tickets do it!

Great experience and an amazing line up. There were enough water stations across the concert and the toilets were clean. Overall the 3 day experience was fantastic and I would definitely recommend the VIP experience. The VIP village private shows were more intimate and the relaxing seating options made it even better. Celebrities openly walked in the VIP village and is a great way to snap a picture with your favorite headliner.

Music selection was great but the organization and overall layout of the festival was disappointing. First, it is way too crowded for the space, people were trampling over others and walking on top of blankets on the ground. There are absolutely no shade areas near the stages, which is horrible when there is high heat and sun. The only areas where there was shade, was by the side of some of the gates, but security kept moving people away from the area. The organization at the JAMPAD stage was an absolute nightmare - difficult to get around, the sound system was a fail as you could barely hear the performances from the small stage, and simply chaotic with people unable to move around this area. I was super excited to attend this festival, but after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

A great venue with lots of what youre looking for. Alcohol everywhere. Beautiful people all around. The sound system could be better but it was great for what it was. I had the deep fried Twinkie. Sounded great but tasted blah. Too much oil in the twinkie. So many more choices. Just go. You will be happy you did.

Well ....I have worked this festival since its beginning. The hosts and production team really listen to the locals and patrons. Discovering new bands is so much fun and when the night falls its magical. Yeah it gets crowded... But only at certain points of day. I feel they have captured the essence of Napa Valleys and set the bar pretty high for other festivals. The Culinary Stage line up is just as impressive as the talent they bring in! Bottlerock is a really fun music festival. We enjoyed the lineup. The food was overpriced. The drinks are fairly easy to get to but also expensive. The crowds are why Im giving 4 stars and wont be back. It was SO crowded. People push, shove and leave a massive mess. Sadly we were standing in a mountain of trash by the end of the night.

Went on a Sunday for the first time. The event was so well set up with the placement off all the food, water, stages and sales tents. We ate at the new England lobster and crab shack. The lobster roll was delicious BUT the truffle fries were OUTSTANDING. The perfect crunch and flavor beyond belief we went back for seconds

I worked the festival the first year it happened and didnt get paid for 9 months. This was my first year back since then and let me tell you they team from Latitude 38 has done an amazing job. Buying your tickets in advance is key here! VIP seems to be the way to go. Food was awesome here & music as well. Not to many souvenir shops but tons of food & beer/cocktail vendors galore! Parking was smooth for us but can be a bit difficult if you come late. Lines are long to get in. Be Early!

Attended the 2022 festival for one day (Saturday) and it was lots of fun! We came with 2 young kids while I was 9 months pregnant (I know... Crazy) and it was surprisingly easy to get by and very kid friendly. They also had some good vegan food options. And of course the concerts were great, especially Rainbow Kitten Surprise.

They are a horrible company stay away from them. Purchased tickets and had a work change less than 48 hours after. Got no response for weeks then told us have to wait to try to even resell tickets can’t list them yet but wait they claim it is sold out - so then why can’t we resell our tickets so someone else can go - man this is very shady and horrible customer service

Consecutive my Husband and I have attended every year and we love it, this year we were so excited to see Pitbull and I wish they bring more Latin rock bands for next year so we can continue to invite more friends. Best Napa Valley wine food and music festival, 3 days of fun plus many of our friends and clients actually do a couple of wine tastings before heading to the venue and having lunch at one of the nice restaurants we have in Napa downtown. This festival is held usually the last weekend of may and perfect weather but you do have to plan ahead as hotels sell out fast. You will have the time of your life!

This was my 1st time going to Bottlerock - a festival for that matter.Logistics - everything was amazing. I expected chaos, people getting thrown out, gross bathrooms, and just stress from the crowd. I can honestly say, that was not the case. The group that put this event together did an excellent job. The food was incredible, very delicious and diverse. The security was very kind and professional - even in events with the disorderly. The bathrooms were well kept and clean. The way the bands were spread out allowed the crowd to be spread out so it felt less stressful as a customer.The music:Imagine Dragons was epic. Awesome show and performance.Skylar Grey was another great show and performance.I highly recommend this venue and would really like to go back!!!

We attend Bottlerock every year and probably will be going as long as they are doing it. What a great lineup every year. We always have a great time and enjoy all the music and the vibe of Napa. Its been getting more and more crowded and thats a challenge at times. They are all starting to really crack down on bringing anything into the venue. Hotels are very expensive nearby, so we usually try to stay in Benicia or Cordelia. Its a challenge at times to work around all the crowds and logistics, but its always worth it in the end.Update for 2019. BottleRock is still going strong. We love this event year after year. This year had the addition of the Porta Party bar sponsored by Monkey Shoulder. Such fun!!They really stepped up their game with the new restrooms. Flush toilets is a HUGE plus and the attendants were super helpful.Great music and bands, although I think they’ve been better in previous years. This year it took much longer to sell out. One Republic, AJR and Bishop Briggs were awesome. I’m sure we will be back again!

The best concert experience! They mostly had actual flushing toilets instead of porta potties. They had walkways that were guided by security so that the congestion wasnt so bad while trying to walk from the Jam Cellars stage to the Verizon stage. There was a good variety of food from Chinese, American, Mediterranean, BBQ, Mexican, baked goods, and Thai. They also have different food trucks on the premises. There were people picking up trash, so it was cleaner than other musical festivals. The official bus shuttles from each town were nice. They had a bathroom on board and had porta potties when you exited the bus. If you take the bus, its a bit of a walk but manageable. They always have a good lineup. You get old school with new school and artists who are just starting. This lineup included Duran Duran, Los Lobos, War, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Strings, etc.

I was asked to compare standouts from each experience, Bottlerock and Coachella, I outline my highlights below. The sheer size of Coachella on every scale is part of what makes it great, but also what makes it a nightmare. The hard costs for each, while similar on the surface...vary greatly on the delivery of value of the experience on the back end.If you dont want to read more, then having been to both events in the same year on multiple occasions, I can say that the value is infinitely better at Bottlerock, hands down and lights out. Having said that, you still need to experience both and how amazing they are in their own right.The music talent at both is stellar, but at Bottlerock, theres more genres of music represented across more eras.The physical size of the venue is ~ 1/5 the size of Coachella at Empire Polo Grounds. At Coachella, you have to really map out your itinerary because zig zagging across the Polo Grounds is not an option if you care about time or sore feet. Bottlerock is similarly laid out with stages in opposing directions, but with simple and clearly identifiable paths to each. The time spent not walking at Bottlerock is spent checking out the ridiculous food options at every turn and in every nook and cranny.One might expect an event in Napa to excel in culinary offerings..and Bottlerock delivers. The vendors make the event in between performers. Bottlerock has something for everyone, short lines and new things to try. Coachella, offers less variety, but similar high event costs. I didnt see anything amazingly unique at Coachella, but I was amazed by the variety at Bottlerock.The vendors and amenities at Bottlerock are not as diverse or interactive as Spectra tower or the ferris wheel at Coachella, but it doesnt bill itself as an art show. Massive merchandising machines are present at both events, but again, size hurts Coachella here. Coachellas warehouse sized merchandise area comes with warehouse sized lines, wait times, and inventory shortages. Bottlerock had a similar merchandising process, but was not nearly as crowded and was sensibly located at the entrance.The lines to get in were non existent at Bottlerock, especially the VIP. It was a breeze and overall a safe, simple process with plenty of law enforcement and security personnel nearby. Coachella was a convoluted nightmare and resulted in lines for days, even at the VIP entrance, and especially at night after close.The app for each is a necessity for navigation and should be your go to tour guide. You are really going to struggle and miss a lot of either experience if you dont use their respective app. Both apps are very similar, however Bottlerocks app appeared much more polished and interactive than Coachellas app. The map feature worked fantastically and saved much time and frustration.Parking and transportation at Bottlerock wins hands down. This could be the result of its smaller size, but Coachella is still a well documented nightmare. The hour drive from Palm Springs via rideshare, if you can get one, is sullied by the excessive traffic control around the entire city of Coachella. By contrast, Bottlerock in Napa is in a suburban area, within walking distance (under a mile) from downtown hotels. Some, rideshare was operating seamlessly and without surge pricing as you might expect. Theres a ton of parking around the Bottlerock venue, and even at private residences where you can park in peoples yard if you make arrangements to do so. At Bottlerock, the parking can be used as a case study on price gouging by the profiteering parking lot conglomerates. The private parking costs had nothing to do with the venue, to be fair. There is adequate first come first serve public parking for free in lots around downtown Napa by the river front area. At Coachella, there is no parking other than in the venue. Good luck with that...take the bus at Coachella, at all costs. It sucks and is inconvenient, but nothing is more inconvenient than driving or ride share at Coachella. Trust me.Hydrate and be safe!

2018 bottlerock ! Really loved this years line up. I attended the Saturday performances mainly to see Jacob banks, e40 and Snoop Dogg.This year it seems that they would not let you bring camping chairs which was really odd.Overall bottlerock 2018 was really fun ! They had a a silent disco and an indoor space located beside it. There were a lot of spa vendor booths,y favorite was the lush booth that offered free arm massages and bath bombs!

Best music festival I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot). That said, it’s still a music festival. Food & drinks are way overpriced. It’s so frustrating because we spend so much money on tickets already, they should offer more affordable food and drink options. There were also too many people and felt over crowded on the last day, but at least the crowd was chill and there was minimal pushing and shoving and everyone was very chill and polite. For the stellar lineup and all the bands I saw, I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth for a 3 day GA pass.

The concert goers piss in our yards when they arrive and leave soiled toilet paper, when they leave, we are blessed with puke in our yards. The noise levels are unacceptable, I live a mile away up the hill and it rattles my windows. And, I wont even mention the quality of music ..or lack of quality. The groups they have just pollute the air with musical diarrhea its unbelievable that they even have a following. Bottlerock is a zero star event.

The crowds were insane. It’s kind of like going to Disneyland that way, with people standing in queues everywhere, waiting for food, merch, or other vendors. The best toilets are in the back corner of the Verizon stage area (second biggest stage) and near the Truly stage (small stage near the food garden). If you can arrive before noon, you can park in the front row of your lot, which will let you exit faster. Also, bring a blanket and place it at the front of the Jam Cellars seating area, then you can walk around and have a place reserved for the big acts.

Bottlerock was an insanely awesome experience. We went day 3 for RHCP and we got inside right when they opened. Staff was pleasant and fun, plenty of places to eat and drink. Be prepared for the restrooms to get insane by the end of the day as most guests arrive later. Will absolutely go again but will purchase VIP tickets for an elevated seat to see bands, with the plus of having a closer restroom.

My personal experience was great but Saturday was too crowded and they ran out of places for blankets. Then made people who had put blankets in a safe place against the wall, stand up. I was literally seated with my 2 1/2 year old grandson on my lap, feeding him rice, no blanket and the came and told me to stand up! I was like, I will when hes done...they tried to continue to harass but I ignored them. He was done literally 2 minutes later. So unnecessary! Not my fault there was no where to sit and against the wall was the safest place! Thats on you BottleRock. Sold too many tickets!

10 year Anniversary 2023! Have been several years and live locally. They do a great job, and it is well run with a few critiques. Food and beverage is $$$ local food trucks and purveyors. Expect $20-$30 per food items and $14-17 beer, $17-$30 wine. There are a few less expensive options. Cashless bracelet provided with tickets.Bring a blanket for getting off your feet or just finding a place to chill. BottleRock Napa Valley is always a good time. Great music, delicious food, and stellar drink options. I know the cost of everything has gone up however, after paying alot of $ for the tickets, and you have to eat sometime (cant bring your own) one would think that a reasonable price for food could be expected (unfortunatley that was wishful thinking on my part). But not being able to get to the popular acts because the crowds were so big is unfair. I will rethink my attendance next year.

Loved this but I dont want to tell anyone else about it because it is so crowded. Awesome atmosphere, food and drink vendors, musical talent, and choices of what to see, hear, eat, and drink. Only issue is that some top names play at the same time on different stages. They even provide sunscreen in pump stations around the event. Overall an amazing experience but there are a few things they could work on. Food is SUPER expensive and mostly tiny portions. We spent $90 on a crab cake sandwich and a lobster roll...no sides, no drinks, just those 2 items + tip. I get that its a captive audience but that was a bit much. Well it’s a great event, I have been coming here every year since it started. My feed back for this year would be better crowed control . It looked to be way over sold this time around. It was a job to get through the crowds to go to the restroom. There was more hostility’s going on between people this year then I have ever seen in the past. Once it gets this crowded the fun factor drops a bit. We’ll definitely be back but I hope the issues are improved next year.

Reasonably well organized and really liked how almost all ground was covered in pavement, artificial grass or gravel. That, with all of the large trees, kept temperatures cooler and made a nicer environment than some other fairgrounds. They put a lot of thought into keeping garbage picked up and dud a pretty good job. Great variety of food, but quality was less than I expected and prices were high. The prices were near $20 per cocktail and my group agreed that the alcohol content was very low🤨.One of the main acts cancelled before event and the replacement cancelled the day of due to illness.After dark, the main restroom area had lights in the portapotties, but not in the handicapped portapotties.The event had a crowd of all ages and various types of people. Great energy and atmosphere! It was always easy to find someone when you had a question.

Friday was the perfect amount of people. Saturday, waits at any point in the afternoon were an hour to get in (we were part of a large group that entered at staggered times) and the place felt like it was over capacity. People shoving, pushing, stepping on our shoes outside and inside the venue... it got pretty old pretty fast. VIP line wasnt really moving along either. The dust was pretty bad too. Bring sunglasses. They should water the grass in the AM on the hot days to keep the dust down. We didnt bother to stay around for Sunday. For the cost of this music festival, they should be on point with every attention to detail. They were not. Two years ago, this event had much better execution.

The BottleRock Festival is worth going annually. They always have a great lineup and besides, where else can you get great food and wine and see multiple artists? I have been to Coachella and I will say this is a much more upscale enjoyable experience. They keep the entire venue and all bathrooms very clean which is very appreciated! The various vendor buildings that offer some shade and good beer/wine are also appreciated. The people that attend are respectful and also contribute to the nice vibe of this festival - very few idiot drunks, which is always refreshing! My only complaint was on the third day, I felt the venue oversold tickets. It was way too crowded and honestly not even safe to be in the audience for Bruno Mars.. After getting stepped on and pushed, I had enough and went to the culinary area which had him on all three screens so we finished watching there.. A bit of a bummer, but it worked. I live locally and plan to make this an annual event for me! Nice way to kick off summer!!

Wasnt bottle rock it was home and garden show. Vendors were good but venue was not ADA safe nor compliant unless you drove and suffered the false advertisement of free parking. Then it was near impossible to get from the handicap parking into the event otherwise and those ticket takers werent even paying attention to their job. Water refill stations were a complete mess and borderline health violation with people putting their finger all over the dispensers and touching their cups to the faucets. Very limited seating, limited merch for artists with long lines. Listed arts and crafts and very little shade for a hot day. The food wasnt bad and the drinks were decent but ridiculously expensive. I mean really expensive... In any case, the venue delivered on cleanish restrooms and okay music delivery. Some issues with the quality of the microphones seemed to cause issues with the singers. And the security that they have come help for some of the larger events like bottlerock, they work hard in the hot sun for hours, and they are just trying to do their jobs of searching bags and sometimes the patrons (only if the mags go off) to make sure the venue stays safe and they have been treated so poorly by some of the concert goers in line. I think they should be recognized for their hard work.

Great artists, but the sound system, for the second year in a row, on the big Jam Cellar stage, was horrendously bad. Unless you succeeded to elbow yourself up to 20 yards from the stage, the sound was so so bad. And they are paying no attention to safety, emergency exits were blocked, the exit pathways were filled with people and the security guards were more focused on smoking and taking videos. almost a stampede when the Tom Petty concert was over. Great artists and food though, and fun to see happy people. We were just at Levis Stadium a couple of weeks ago listening to U2, like night and day - fantastic sound system at the U2 concert.

It caused me to stand outside of the entire area of the band I wanted to watch and could barely see them. And yes I was wearing earplugs and it was still way too loud. The concert was so fantastic, this being the first festival I have attended without my daughter. We usually go to Outside Lands and Hardly Strictly or Strawberry Music Fest. Being that those are all significantly less expensive or free I would argue that $80 a day (I scored on my weekend pass) should allow for enough porta potties or temporary indoor restrooms in Napa. I appreciated the sunscreen and water which was provided as it was a huge open space with very little shade. The LineUp warranted the high price but to have nearly zero seating under shade and be prevented from bringing in food forces music lovers to purchase food inside. $20 for a four oz pour of wine and $20 for a gyro. I ate before I came on day 2. The place was spatially designed well and everyone was accommodated which is a challenge considering the crowd was upwards of $500,000. Water lines moved quickly. We greatly enjoyed Soul Rebel Brass Band and Mystic Hippy Shake! Being exposed to these lesser known groups was a game changer and Santana’s performance was historic— every person on stage was musically trained on two instruments! Such an opportunity to hear the Legendary Santana Live! We went over to hear Mumford & Sons for the tail end of the performance but the sound was so loud at that stage and my ears were ringing for days after. The security was helpful and kind. More seating and restrooms next year would be much appreciated BottleRock. For $100 we would be so grateful to have these amenities provided, perhaps a free beverage in a branded cup as well. Michael Franti remarked that we brought the sunshine on Sunday as the rain clouds loomed overhead but graciously held off. A rainbow appeared after Citizen Cope and all was well at Bottle Rock 2019! This is my 5th year at Bottlerock and as a 55 year old local, I was very unhappy with the insane, young crowds this year. This event used to be a fun, relaxing, classy experience but has turned into a teeny bopper madhouse that is more than extremely stressful. The crowds were so extreme, when we needed water and restroom, we were trapped and could not get out. We had to ask someone at the VIP area for water. It was not set up for emergent situations. There were fewer throw back bands for older crowd, except loved Earth, Wind and Fire.I would have loved VIP tickets but they sold out immediately.This will be my last year at Bottlerock as it has morphed into a Coachella.Truly stressful and disappointing.

The best concerts ever ☺️😜 I love the music the food and drinks are ok. The only think is that the food and drinks are overrated 🤣 and a little over priced

Great festival venue, great music. More of a picnic feeling than a rock festival. Very civilized.

I had fun. Bling bling dumpling, Lydias and vegan pizzas are my favorite food. Great singers.
