This location is a hot mess. The outside and the inside. They have a sign Cash Only!! Big red flag. We walked in and there was nobody in the location and no workers in sight only food under warmers. We just walked out and ordered nothing. Sad days. Used to love this place. Ten out of ten do not recommend.

I found this place a few weeks ago and I was so glad because this was the last and only Boston Market in Los Angeles area. However when I got there I saw a notice on the door saying the place was closed. Very sad indeed.

It’s with a saddened heart I have to leave this review. I have tried multiple times to give this Boston Market the benefit of the doubt, but ultimately either this location needs to close down or be taken over by new management, and I’m really hoping the latter.I went to Boston Market a lot when I was young and had high expectations from it since then. I have gone to this location a total of 4 times. The first time, it was perfect; it had everything I wanted and it tasted delicious, which was why I wanted to come back.The second time, it didn’t have the chicken I wanted and I noticed there were a lot of hand written signs covering their menu as to what they didn’t have. I also noticed there was not a single guest in there. Whatever, I ordered something else and was hoping I could come back another time and get what I was hoping for.A few weeks later, I came back with my husband to get the chicken I was waiting for, but again, they were still out of the same things I’ve been wanting. But the thing was, both times they were out of their staple sides as well, like the macaroni and sweet potato casserole. And it wasn’t just a couple things they were out of, they were out of what seemed to be half the menu. At this point, I was upset, and yet again I noticed that there was no one else in this restaurant. My husband said that the restaurant gave him an uncanny feeling, but also because one of the lights was out in the dining area. I could see that, but chose to look past it.The last and final time I will be going to this Boston Market is because on my current attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt, I FINALLY ordered what I wanted: the Parmesan Tuscan chicken with macaroni, sweet potato casserole, and a cornbread. Everything I’ve been waiting for, but all for not 💔 the sweet potato casserole and cornbread are not the recipe I distinctly remember from Boston Market. Everything was cold. They had a sign on their door that said they couldn’t take card payments. Their soda fountain wasn’t working. There was no one in the restaurant. And the worker was on her phone and disinterested.It is pretty sad to see that this restaurant is on it’s last breath and by the looks of it, there is no hope in trying to save it.

The server didnt give me a choice of dark or white meat--she assumed she knew better--the food was a long way from the Boston Market of old (back in the 90s). Too bad, as it was once one of my all-time favorite places. The choices are severely reduced and the food display was not at all appealing. I ordered anyway in case I was wrong--not. I will not return.

Though the side orders were fine, the turkey was raw. I’ve been here in the past and it was one of my favorite places, but now it seems as though it isn’t well taken care of or kept clean. I hope this criticism is taken constructively and improvements can be made so customers can overall have a good experience

Have not checked in with a Boston Market for a while so I decided to check out this location nearby. Ordered a rotisserie chicken with potatoes and veggies. I liked the warmth of the potatoes and the veggies tasted a bit salted but chewy. The chicken did taste like it was left over for a while before being cooked though, so did not have a great time with that. I am a bit concerned of the safety of this location because I did notice a fly roaming around the place, especially headed towards the food counter.

I never do this but I dont live close by this location and now that theres not that many. I tried this place 2 times the first time apparently they were out of electricity witch I totally understand. The second time the following week I went into the restaurant and it smelled pretty bad and saw no employees witch I can understand its hard getting hours for employees but not one employee was in sight I would never go back and that sucks because Ive loved Boston Market. Not very welcoming I would say but hey maybe someone would have better luck than I did.

When we pulled up we saw a store in distress. What this location once was is no longer. Lots of sold out sides and other dishes. So there was little to choose from. What we did get was hot and fresh. The food was surprisingly good. Better than I would have thought. They have Christmas decorations up inside and you can tell it won’t be long that this place will be gone. The staff was nice and friendly as well. Overall we enjoyed the experience. Thank you to the staff for making it a great experience.

I am totally surprise. This place has four stars. Each time I call the phone is always busy and I know this place isn’t that busy? Also, there’s been a couple times about 6:30 PM. I try to order meatloaf and they claim there’s no more. This place needs to shape up a little bit. Or they could go ahead and shut down like Burger King did all your regulars to this location knows what I’m talking about.

This is based on their Thanksgiving Meal Prep while picking up and about the food itself. First off the experience of ordering online was pretty good. I was glad there was still an option to be able to order, a few days before Thanksgiving, compared to many different places that had already been sold out. I ended up getting the Turkey meal that would feed 4-6 people. When I got there, there was someone outside giving meals, but I guess I had to go inside to check in before I was able to redeem my meal. After some confusion I was able to finally go outside to pick up my meal, but they had to still pack my meal. It seems like they were falling behind schedule, but I was happy I was able to get out of there after not too long.Again I ordered the:Complete Boneless Roasted Turkey Breast Meal for 4-6This included:Boneless Roasted Turkey BreastSpinach Artichoke dip and Sesame CrackersVegetable StuffingCranberry Walnut RelishMashed PotatoesGravyDinner RollsApple Pie Whole (You can also choose pumpkin if you wish)I ordered this meal cold, so it was great that it gave instructions on how to heat everything up under 2 hours. I just wished that everything was oven ready, so I could be able to just put everything in the oven, it would be easier.The Turkey was surprisingly not dry, especially with the gravy and Spinach Artichoke. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the Stuffing, or mashed potatoes. Seemed lacking of flavor or was a bit too dry. The Spinach Artichoke and Cranberry were def the favs out of everything.It is good to know that this place does still take orders week of Thanksgiving, but I just hope nothing like what I read on the news would happen. This used to be one of my favorites, but I get the impression like this place is about to close. If its not, then I feel REALLY sorry for them. Past couple of times they were short on many items. The seating area always has boxes all over the place, so its not the most welcoming place to eat. I once ate here when Hall of Fame football player Terrell Owen came in AND ate in. Ive never been there when it was full of eat in customers. Most recently I was in the mens room and it was fifty, leaking sink and a dead roach on the floor.When I got home with my take home order the food was literally disgusting, I couldnt eat it. So sad this place fell apart.

Awful, just awful! Even though this location is an hour away from my home, I came here because I was in the area and just found out the Lawndale one was permanently closed. They had what I wanted which was meatloaf, and it was all right. However, the sides were beyond horrible! The rice was so soggy, it was like eating oatmeal! The stuffing was also super soggy, everything tasted like it was boiled, Ive never had sides this badly cooked before! Even the mashed potatoes were watery.I wasnt sure if I should even write this review because if you look at what everyone else is saying, you can see the consensus is a terrible 1-star. Im really bummed out that the Lawndale location is gone because I have been going there for years and the food over there was usually really good. I didnt realize it but it looks like all Boston Markets are going to be gone soon. And if the food is always going to be like it was today, they should be all closed for good!

I had only had Boston once before, my job got it catered, mind you it was in Monterey Park... so I was looking forward to this food. Mannnn...the mash was watery and bland, the corn bread was cold and the chicken while taste was good, looked like a freaking pheasant, tiny pieces. My husband liked his signature chicken dish with mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing and gravy. He didnt eat his cornbread choosing to take it home. My signature dish on the other hand had sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. I love sweet potatoes, but their sweet potatoes were just a little on the really sweet side. Their steamed broccoli was just a little over steamed. Just wished it was a little crunchier. But I thought the chicken was very moist, flavorful and delicious. I just dont know what happened to the cornbread. I dont remember it being so cold and not tasting like cornbread. I gave it to my husband who will gladly eat it.The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful.

Tried Boston after many years when there were more locations. The wait time was great and food tasted good. However, the food wasnt hot and coke machine wasnt working properly. There was also very limited seating inside due to boxes of supplies on tables. I hope the next time I visit, its a better experience.

Parking, bathroom, entrance and seating are all accessible. Parking setup could be better, but you likely wont have a problem finding parking. In 2021 noticed location seemed to be suffering. This seems to have continued to the present. On my last visit so much was unavailable there really was only 1 option for a meal. I do not recommend this location, suggest you go elsewhere. Imagine it will not remain open much longer.

I was very excited to have Boston Market when I discovered this location as most of them have closed around LA. However, this was a HUGE disappointment! The restaurant was not inviting at all, most of the tables were covered in takeout boxes where they put Togo orders together in the middle of the restaurant, it had a foul sewer smell everywhere, the staff was not very friendly, the cornbread was cold as it’d it just came out of the refrigerator, and we were not asked if we wanted to dine in and our food was automatically wrapped up togo, and the 1/2 chicken that used to be $10 was now $15. Definitely won’t be returning!

LmkI went in an hour before closing the other night. Hardly any food was made and what they did have tasted like it was from the previous day. The meatloaf was a weird color. They also had the bathroom open and it smelled disgusting. Usually Boston market is pretty good so hopefully it was an off night but Im not sure I will dine in again. 3 stars is being generous.Edit: I went in again yesterday (Sept 23) and ordered the mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. The recipes are completely different. They should at least put up a sign.

Had not been to this location since moving but decided to pop in for a late lunch. Was pleasantly surprised food remained hot when served even after selecting and paying. Really like the diversity of Coke products from the dispenser. An excellent way to get just what one wants in a beverage. Forgot to take photo but the food as plated looked as good as it tasted. Pot pie was generously sized and rather filling. Price point really reasonable for quality and quantity received. Staff was nice and cleaned tables quickly.

We left the Boston Market in Rancho cucamonga because of the lack of service they provided. We decided to make the over 20 minute drive to get our dinner. I called this location and placed my order over the phone and by the time I arrived it was packed and ready to go. No hassle no fuss just an easy transaction to get my family dinner. The staff was super friendly, even the cook in the back smiled and acknowledged us. We left spending a bit under $100. We purchased refreshments and was even offered dessert. We got the brownie tray. The food was so tasty and our dinner was delicious. Thank you to the staff at this location. Its a difficult time for businesses right now. There are plenty of choices as to where patrons can spend their money, so its especially important to make sure that the staff you have in your business knows how to take care of its customers ( smile, greet, acknowledge, offer additional add ons, thank the customer and invite them back). This location was on point with all of these. Thank you for giving is great service.

Decided to go the easy route for xmas dinner. Ordered the spiral ham complete dinner that included: spinach artichoke dip, mashed potatoes, gravy, cinnamon apples, sweet potato casserole, rolls, pumpkin & and pies. When I picked up the order, right off the bat they forgot the dip; & didnt have any rolls, so got cornbread; & didnt have anymore pumpkin pies, so gave 2 apple pies. The gravy was oddly bitter tasting; the sweet potatoes were sour & rancid like; & cornbread was super flat & tasteless. Everything else was ok, not sure worth the $170.00 that i paid for it

Ordered food and corn bread but I noticed the girl that is helping customers also run the payment. Yes shes wearing gloves but also been touching customers credit cards and hasnt changed her gloves OR even sanitized it every after running the payments before helping the next customer with their food. Worst experience for Thanksgiving order pick up. Chaos, unorganized, staff don’t know how to use the register. Just excuses about their unorganized situation. Staff went to the back thinking nobody is watching while mocking customers. Total disaster. Online doesn’t mean your food will be ready for pick up, means you still have to get in a 2-3 hour wait to get a receipt for food pick up. Very unnecessary. A short lady staff with a bun only knows just stand there and think by smiling will help the situation. Doesn’t even know how to use the register. Bad service. Top of that water leaks and just a hot mess on the floor. Management needs to train people and be more organize. A text will be helpful so people have the option to know their order is ready, instead of waiting in line. Paying online in advance will be helpful, and just ask for ID and email confirmation should be enough to confirm person for picking up the order.

I was part of the Thanksgiving fiasco here, but considering COVID and the hiring crisis I held no ill will, things happen. However, after words the company did absolutely nothing to make it up the customers and this is why theyll lose my business for life. They sent some half ***ed excuse of a voucher that could only be redeemed in person, I tried redeeming it at this location and the next closest and both stores failed. Either zero staff or were closed except for catering orders.. a week before the holiday? Makes no sense. Voucher expires before the new year so what was the point?

I like Boston Market. I go to the one in San Dimas. I like their chicken pot pies and the 3 piece dark.Here and there I have tried their new items on the menu. I always come back to my favorites.The place is very clean. The staff who works there are very friendly and courteous.The last couple of times I went to Boston Market, staff has let a person come in and out of the restaurant for water or use of the restroom. I have never seen the person buy anything to eat. He comes into the place just to chat and charge his IPad. I could be wrong but it gets a little irrating when person comes in and out, then wipes down his car and takes his dog for walk and then comes back in.

Pre ordered the week before, thinking it would be a less stressful Thanksgiving. Wrong, went in at my scheduled time, the line was out to the side of building. While waiting and talking to others who had already paid they waited an hour just to pay and was still waiting after 15 min for their pre order to be made. ceiling panel fell and water went all over the floor. Even after 15 min noone cleaned the water up so noone would fall. While you were waiting for your order you had to wait outside where staff were putting orders together in the parking lot under easy ups, it was pouring rain. I decided to go across the street to smart and final and go home and fix my family and another family dinner. Will not do this again.
