So! I took possession of my Brand New, 2024, Mini COOPER F56 yesterday. Love the car! But, that’s not what this rating is about….it’s about the Mini Team at the dealership. Everyone, and I mean everyone was open, honest, forthright….and frankly made the buying experience perfect. There is no hard sale with Mini’s…..the price is the price. But, the team can creatively work with you to get it to fit your budget.Next: SHOUT OUT TO JACINDA! (Sales) I ordered mine from England. She knew the process, and set realistic expectations of how it was going to go. Always has a smile on her face, and positive attitude. Called me with updates, and frankly? She put up with my weirdness as a Miniac!Also a shout out to Chris and Frank……cause they we helpful too. They didn’t treat me like a customer, per se. But got the deal done. Hawaii (Big Island) appreciates Miklos for all the professional assistance he, Frank, and Jacinda provided in purchasing our new Mini Clubman. Its not an easy task buying in Cali and shipping to the Big Island but, Bob Smith and more importantly Miklos, made it happen. Yes, there is paperwork, DMV, and Safety inspections that need to be coordinated along with the shipper (Pasha). The most important piece is Communication. Miklos and BS Mini were very prompt and followed through on every aspect of the process (just like they promised).Weve likely all experienced a decline in Customer Service due to more efficient computer chat and virtual assistance. With BS Mini, you deal directly with a live person who takes care of your particular process. It is the same experience I had with their Service Department. This is why going directly to the Dealer is worth the visit versus second, or third parties.A Big Island Mahalo to Miklos and Team BS Mini!

Fantastic experience. My salesperson, Jacinda Olivas, is the best. Even though Jacinda knew from the start we were just looking, she took the time to answer all our questions. Most importantly, NO hard sell. We left the dealership to talk it over with my 18 year old daughter, Abby, the buyer. She really wanted to buy the Mini Cooper so we returned about an hour later and purchased the car from Jacinda. Who, by the way, happens to own the same model Mini Cooper. Figure the odds! After the finalization and receiving the keys, Jacinda again took extra time with my daughter to link my daughter’s phone to the car and explain all the buttons to her. (So many buttons!) As I said at the beginning, what a fantastic experience. Thank you Jacinda, you are the greatest!!

Process is slow, but that’s normal for any car your are getting. The employees were nice and let me go on a rocking test drive to really get comfortable with my car. If you like Mini Cooper this place is great and has a decent selection of new and used.

Bad experience. For one I called three times just to be transferred to a sales person and then be on hold over six minutes each time. Eventually, I left a voicemail to the manager and when he finally called back the attitude wasn’t the best and a bunch of excuses that they’re understaffed, etc.Bottom line is, I wanted to buy a Mini and they had one I liked, but somehow because they just got it into their used inventory they weren’t willing to move at all on the price. Since I had been talking to several dealers, I had several quotes which I provided to be transparent and I asked them if they can be competitive but somehow there was zero willingness to work with me on price and the best they could do was OVER $40 more monthly than any of the other ones even though the cars were pretty much the same. Then I got a big text lecture from the amateur sales woman about how all the cars are different and the cost of blah blah etc even though this is my 20th car I’m buying. The strangest thing was her saying how the other dealers have hundreds of these, but here they only have a few which then left me baffled as to “well, don’t you want to sell the car?” I don’t understand what you having less cars on the lot has to do with anything, aren’t you car dealership?I then told her that I am a real buyer pulling the trigger today one way or another after a week of looking and if they can at least come close we have a deal. Their car had Apple CarPlay, but 10,000 miles more than the other one I’m looking at which was the exact same car but without the Apple CarPlay, but somehow they couldn’t even come close. Even though they had SAME asking price as the other dealers. You would think a dealer would be all over me to make this work like all the other ones, but I can tell you I’m not impressed at all and at this point I wouldn’t even consider this dealer. My wife and I have now decided to go to downtown tonight and buy the mini there just because the experience is way better.Way to lose a sale and a loyal client for a long-term, as me and my wife are first time buyers for this brand and would’ve probably bought many more cars down the line there.I guess congratulations, now you have one more car on the lot and more inventory lol

I just bought my 30th car, Bob Smith is one of the best dealers ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Jacinda was amazing, i ordered a vehicle, and she updated me throughout the whole process. I live 2 hours away, I was able to do the whole order process remotely, and when the car showed up, i went to pick it up and sign a few documents.I really really like the One Person experience. Bob smith doesnt play the games where you are pushed back and forth to a finance department and sales manager to finish your purchase, the sales person handles the whole thing, from test drive to handing you the documents and your keys.There are two closer BMW dealerships (SLO and Santa Maria) and i would drive 2.5 hours past either one of those to go to bob smith.

If you lease your Mini, dont return it here you will get taken advantage of. Per the Mini Cooper Lease Return Guidelines, any ding / dent is acceptable as long as its under 2 inches. The lease coordinator Shane inspected my Mini and said I have many door dings on the passenger side along with a 4 crease. Thus, I was going to get a 300.00 bill. Knowing that dealerships typically charge way more than other repair shops I took my car to 3 different ding repair guys, all three could only find one door ding on the entire car and they all said it was well under 2 inches. So I emailed the General Manager of Bob Smith. All I got was that the lease coordinator says you have a 4 crease in your door and she is standing by her inspection. (see photo for the 4 inch crease) So I took it over to Valencia where two Mangers did an inspection. Manager - the car looks great, you have one door ding on the passenger side but its under 4 so we dont charge for that. I literally hugged the guy. Thank you sir for knowing how to use a ruler. Maybe the lease coordinator gets a kick back for every dollar she can get out of lease returns. Either way... take it to Valencia.Also, I did take my Mini for service at Bob Smith, I asked them to do a tire rotation... they wanted to charge me over 100.00, other Mini dealers the cost is 25.00. Just a heads up.

Our experience at Bob Smith BMW, with Jacinda on the MINI side, was phenomenal. Buying a car can be nervewracking and stressful, but this was a much more pleasant experience than Ive had in the past.More importantly, I was given the opportunity for a proper test drive (none of this once around the block stuff), and even able to look at a car which hadnt been through detailing yet because I wanted to see the color combination in person.Even after the decision was made and payments done, Jacinda took the extra time to show us the ins and outs of the features because I was unfamiliar with the nav system. And she followed up two days later to see if there were any questions.I dont plan on getting another car for quite some time, but when I do, I know Ill be looking up Bob Smith once again.

But I needed a smaller vehicle and on Saturday my husband and I ventured from Ojai To Bob Smith Mini in Calabasas… dreading the whole sales person test drive event…We were both just astounded by the knowledge, kindness and non pressure of sales associate Jacinda Olivia’s!!!We left telling her we needed to think about it…not once did she say “this car will be sold so don’t take too long to make a decision.” Such a turn off comment!Before we were out of the dealership drive .., I turned to my husband and said …”I want to give Jacinda the sale and I loved the Mini Clubman…it was even taken out of the showroom for me to drive..Monday morning my husband drove. down to calabasas and closed the deal!!!Tuesday when I went to pick up the car…a huge bow wassitting on the mini… SUCH A SPECIAL TOUCH…. This was my first experience with Bob Smith Mini, but certainly not my first experience buying a car. Let me tell you, these guys get it right! I started by looking online and asking questions about a Mini Cooper SE (electric). They are hard to come by. I received very prompt replies from Rockstar and Frank and when they had one in stock for me to test drive, I was informed immediately. There was ZERO pressure from these guys. Just friendly and helpful. It felt more like borrowing a tool from neighbor than buying a car. I took the plunge and placed my order and sooner than expected, my new Mini had arrived! The car was detailed...not just washed, and when my daughter asked about removing the warning sticker on the side window, Chris, the General Sales Manager, took care of it right away, also noticing a small spot on the inside of the windshield that needed cleaning. This group truly goes above and beyond to make you happy. Rockstar even snuck outside and put a big red bow on the car to surprise my daughter, without any prompting. Just genuinely nice people with so much attention to detail. This is what buying a car should be like...fun! Were loving our new Mini and have the nice experience to remember. Thanks guys!

I have had two great service experiences at Bob Smith’s Mini Cooper in Calabasas thanks to my service technician, Matthew Bull. The first was a tire that went flat during a holiday weekend. I had some trouble getting through all the phone prompts, but once I got a hold of Matthew, it was a breeze. My car was ready in just a few hours and sparkling clean to boot! Yesterday, I took my car in for a regular service, while they were making the repair, Matthew sent me a video, and I noticed my rims were very scratched. At first, he told me it might take a few days to repair, but then Matthew was able to push it through to pick up the next day even though it was his day off. Exceptional service!

Shes an outstanding, professional salesperson who kept us informed regarding the status of our MINI throughout the time it was ordered and delivered. She even gave us the Marine Traffic website so that we could enjoy our MINIs journey from Oxford, England/Bremerhaven, Germany to Port Hueneme, California. My service experiences at Bob Smith MINI have been excellent. My most recent experience in March 2014 with Josh Gates, Service Advisor, was no exception. Oil change, review warranty issue with convertible top (glass window abrasion wear) and car wash in less than 60 minutes! Thats service. Josh was also very helpful regarding advice on long-term warranty extension plans. 10s all aroundMy most recent service visit in April 2015 with Sue Bolger was also excellent. I was experiencing an intermittent electrical problem with my convertible top and alarm system. The service team isolated the problem to raising the convertible top when the engine was not running and advised me accordingly. Current service requirements were also evaluated and updated. My MINI was washed and I was on my way. Bob Smith MINI is the BOMB!Most recent service visit was December 6, 2017, primarily for engine light. Josh Gates, Service Advisor, always provides excellent service, scheduled needed maintenance & provided a loaner as well. Problem resolved & service completed in 1 afternoon.Bob Smith MINI is the best!

I just leased an awesome 2 door hardtop Mini Cooper S from these guys. Everyone there was wonderful and helpful. A special shout out to Christopher Conway the sales manager who leased me the car, and also to Robert (Rockstar) Justis who showed me how everything works and Karen the Finance Manager who was patient and showed me what I was signing and explained it. Im glad she offered me other upgrades to help with lease end costs and lo-jack if my car was ever stolen but never pressured me into anything. Theyre honest and always willing to work with me. We finally got our first Mini (all-black Countryman S). I appreciate the work that Mikolas and Christopher did for us. At first, my wife did not like the all-black color that we got the offer from Mikolas, so we went to another Mini dealership to get a White silver metallic countryman S but had the worst experience ever there. I explained the whole situation to Chris, and Chris helped us a lot. He was very professional and there was never any pressure for anything. I had a few concerns and wanted the vehicle thoroughly checked in case I needed to return it. (I was also experiencing a little buyers remorse). I must say my experience at Bob Smith this week was perhaps the best Ive had visiting a dealership in recent memory. I wish I could remember the names of the three employees who helped (including the very nice gentleman at the entrance who identified my appointment, and had the paperwork ready for me to give the service rep.) My mum enjoyed her time watching the golf in their customer area. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Just a great experience overall. One of the worst experiences of my life. That is how I can describe it. One star is even too much for the service I received in this dealership. The FINANCE department is the worst. Do not finance your car with them unless you know everything and have done your homework in advance. They will try to sell you all kinds of insurance and tell you you can cancel anytime, but they don’t tell you any time is not really anytime.It is 30 to 45 days in order for you to get your money refunded. Caveat Emptor.Bob Smith had run an ad saying, bring your BMW in, well give it a look over, tell you if it needs service and wash it for you. Good deal and a smart business move.They told me I needed to replace brake pads on all 4 wheels and quoted me $900 for the job. The advisor was pretty specific as he told me I had 3mm left in back and 2mm in front, so I needed to do it soon. The $900 sounded high, so I took it to an independent shop to verify.The quote I got from the independent was for $550. I was shocked when the independent told me I had 80% of the pad left in front and 90% in back. No need for new brakes anytime soon.Ive been going to Bob Smith for years, as my wife and I have owned 4 BMWs over the years. I will NEVER go back to them again.I should have known this dealer service was a scam when they were peddling fuel injector cleaner service. Cars dont typically need that type of service ever, as gasoline has become better. And yet, these guys are pushing it on cars that are 3 years old.

At 4 pm on a busy Saturday, I had the unfortunate experience of my vehicle breaking down about 30 miles from home. Being alone at the time, this was an extremely stressful situation but that all changed with a single call to Bob Smith BMW. BEWARE: Incompetent techs and team members summarize my continued experience. Hello Catherine,I have had my car into your dealership twice for the same issue. This last time the individual who checked me in did not document all of the details I provided and thus the service techs diagnosis was again not accurate. They stated the ignition coils had mysteriously lifted themselves up...even though your team was the last to install them after replacing the plugs 6 weeks earlier. Well, here we are again... this morning the Mini struggled to start on a cold start, smelled like fuel and then threw misfire codes for cylinder 3 (resulting in a check engine light). These are the same symptoms the last two times I have had it in the dealership. Just to ensure that somehow the ignition coil did not magically dislodge themselves again, I took photos when I picked up the mini from your dealership and immediately after the incident this morning. They are identical and the coils have not moved at all (I now have photographic evidence in case your tech does not believe me). Every single time the issue resides on cylinder 3 misfiring... and both the coils and plugs have been replaced.I am at a loss with how to deal with Mini at this point.Please do not respond with a canned response stating someone call the dealership if they want to discuss...that does not create a good customer experience. Take responsibility, proactively reach out to your customers, find a way to make it right. I bought a car back in 2011 from Bob Smith. I had it serviced at Bob Smith until I moved out of the area in eraly 2012. I had been going there since 2009 with the older BMW I had and Gilbert, my service advisor, was always fantastic. Now, a couple of weeks ago I open my garage at home on a Saturday morning and - my car is gone! I call BMW Roadside assistance and they say that they could track the car, but the transponder was never activated. I call Chris Smith, the sales rep at Bob Smith who sold me the car. I tell him my problem and he resolves it in minutes. The guy was great. He just took control of the situation on his end and made it happen. Sort of that old idea of competence mixed with professionalism that lots of businesses promise. Several days later, no thanks to the hapless Los Angeles Police Dept., BMW kept sending the cops GPS positions on the car telling them where it was (they failed to find it 3 times before another department finally got it). During this whole process I found my over priced insurance company was weak and slow to act and the the cops were all but useless. However, at every step, BMW came through. Having bought a car at Bob Smith and having had 2 cars serviced there I can say, without reservation, they actually walk the talk you get on BMWs. Ive been to other dealers that I like as well, but whether it was getting a repair finished on time or helping me recover my lost car Bob Smith stands head above the rest.

3 weeks ago, my husband and I walked into Bob Smith Mini to test drive the Countryman for the 2nd time. We were pretty much sold on getting one (not necessarily from Bob Smith...) and just wanted to take a drive one more time before moving forward. JC Reznikoff met us at the door, very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us out and in no time, we felt like we were in very good hands. While he was relatively new to Mini, it seemed like he had been there for years. He know everything about the Mini and Bob Smith dealership and was so great to be around. We knew we wanted to buy the car from him. While I was very fickle about the color, JC was so patient and accommodating. We thought it would be 6-8 weeks to build our mini and within the week, he found one for us. We had a do a few minor adjustments with the wheels and again, he was patient and kept us informed along the way. Once our mini was complete, I think he was as excited to see us in it as we were. Obviously they do not want my business. Bob Smith has been the only company that has serviced my vehicle since I bought it in 2011and before now I was very pleased. Before they combined with BMW. they treated you like you mattered. Now unless you want to drop 5k they want nothing to do with you. My vehicle is a 2011 mini Clubman S 50th anniversary edition with less than 50k miles. I brought it in for oil change, the engine light came on and 1 light out. I got a call from the service person Christina L. The engine light was some pressure converter that failed once all checked and it is working perfectly not to worry, quoted $860 but not necessary. Explained I had 2 light out the front quoted $40 and they would replace(they didnt do it and said I refused it) the other light was a backup light they wanted $450 to fix. This didnt make since the bulb is less than $10. I said no. When I got the car a whole list of problems was listed that were never discussed. The paper work showed I refused a cracked belt repair (hello might be dangerous if I didnt repair) no quote given. Seeping valve cover after much engagement got a quote of over $1400. Intake pipe starting to leak I couldnt get a quote. Christina was not available and was to call me the next day to clear up. I never got that phone call. It seems as thou they dont care about the mini service because I am sure it doesnt pull in the income that the BMW repairs do. Very disappointing. I need to find a reliable mini repair shop. I didnt mind spending the extra for going to the dealer but this is really bad.

I paid full in cash and they did not even offer to flatbed the car, tinstead hey drove it all the way and put 115 miles on the car. A couple days after we walk into Bob Smith Calabasas just to find Lori helping out another customer! What kind of BS is this? SInce having the car only a year Ive been in the dealership multiple times for many different reasons. 1. my drivers door handle melted 2.my window motor broke 3.My passenger visor mirror cover broke twice. Everytime I came in I felt very unwanted as the service reps are very rude and one-worded. Also my parents had bought me this car and everytime I walk in they treat me like a little spoiled girl. I went to Bob Smith one day to get my car serviced about leaking coolant and my broken mirror visor, only to find out that the sensor to indicate the temperature of the car enhgine was being recalled. Josh, the service rep, had told me he would call me back when my car is ready. 4 hours later and still no call I call Bob Smith to find out my cars been ready for 2 hours! I drive over there and actually talk to Josh about the situation as he decides to lie to my face and say what?! My service from the beginning was horrible. Since I didn’t have an appointment I was told that I Wpuld have to wait till the two people in front of me were checked in and this was at 8am when the service dept opened. Once the advisor was available she came over and did the inbound inspection and asked what the issue was with my car. I proceeded to show her the extended warranty paperwork showing that the issue my car was experiencing was covered under warranty and what I had come moneyed and diagnosed on the car. Please keep in mind I have over 25 years of equipment repair experience. She shunned the information and told me that the only way it would be covered under warranty is if the check engine light was on. I told her that’s the reason I’m here. She responded and said well leave that up to the technician. She never noted it on the service write up. Two days later she calls and lets me know the tech had diagnosed the issue and it will cost 1100.00 to fix. I politely excused myself and mentioned that this is the same diagnosed and alerted you about. This took your tech 2 days to figure out? Also this repair is covered under warranty, if you remember I presented the proper paper work at the time of check in but you didn’t want to listen to me. This advisor also never returned my phone calls or did I ever receive regular updates on the progress of my car. I had to keep calling until I got ahold of her, which I never did. I ended up speaking with the shop foreman to get the updates. Once the job was complete the same advisor called to let me know that now my turbo needed to be replace due to codes and this would fix all my issues. Again I spoke with the shop Forman to find out that my car issues were resolved and covered under warranty! Due to the mileage on the car he is recommending the turbo be swapped out. So I asked why the advisor told me it needed to be replaced due to logged codes. Well guess what. There were no logged codes and she was trying to up sell me a turbo. Look out for these guys. The will try cheat you out of non necessary repairs. Shame on you guys. My suggestion is to go to a different dealership for any service needs. Warranty or not.

He is a gentleman and so low pressure. He really just wants to help you find or build the car that suits your needs. Make a reservation is easy, good PR, service advisors very good, and helpful. walking around the dealer is not fun, feels a cold environment.My last service my front brakes were done, except that when I got home, I was cleaning my wheels and noticed that two nut were left loose, Thanks to the Almighty I got home safe, some one has to check the final product of service before they deliver the car to the customer, is a major problem is some one will have an accident for the negligence of the service mechanics, other then that the mini cooper staff operator and the advisors are doing a good job. Darlene at Bob Smith Mini is quite frankly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of NOT meeting! Let me explain. I leased a Mini Clubman for my wife from Bob Smith. We’ve since moved to the Phoenix area and the three-year lease came due. Well, I went to a local dealer and they tried to tack on some inexplicable fees that added up to about 3K! Not to mention they tried to get us into a new Mini on the spot. And not surprisingly followed up quite incessantly! Well, we love the Clubman and after 3 years it had only 9200 miles on it. I called Bob Smith only to learn that my rep had moved on. Darlene answered and I must admit I have rarely talked to someone — if ever — who sounded so genuinely friendly and sincere. I immediately felt like we were friends! And I consider myself a strict judge of character. Darlene made some suggestions and offered to investigate further. As it turned out, she learned that I could simply call the Lease company and ask them directly to finance the Mini as the lease was just about over. I did exactly that and got a wonderful loan agreement with Mini!! And didn’t have a 3K incidental fee on top of everything! I would have not known had it not been for Darlene!!! Thank you Darlene!! I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. I sent an email late Friday evening with an offer and received a reply very quickly, saying that they could match my offer. Justin was instructive and engaging as a sales rep. I cannot say enough about Ryan Amico who took the lets get to know one another and communicate in negotiations, so I could get this second Mini in a month. Kristin in finance broke down all the details, listened to what I wanted and NEEDed and then worked the numbers to get me there. I HAD FUN buying this car, even under the stress and amidst insurance and lawyers. I actually came away feeling like people cared and I could finally breathe. Ive never dealt with a team of such authentic and capable individuals working with cars. Oh yes, I drove away in Mini Heather Rosei on St. Patricks Day, My Lucky Day now being part of Bob Smith Mini family!!!

If you live around the Universal Mini, I would recommend you go to the Calabasas. Bob Smith Mini location, they were able to identify what was really wrong with my mini that Uni. Mini couldnt. This is my second Mini. I love the Countryman. I brought it in for service which is covered by a service agreement. From the first scheduling call to the precise estimate of time it would take to complete, Josh was very informative and accurate. The service was fast and neat. Mixed emotions - they were really fast at checking in my car and having my loner ready. I am letting the time slide on how long it took them to fix my car (week) because we had to play phone tag. However, when I went to pick it up they couldnt find it at first and then didnt wash it. I didnt just have my oil change, i dropped a couple thousand and they still didnt was my car. Then to top it off the car is still having problems.

This is the fourth BMW if have bought from Bob Smith through Dave Prince my Salesman. Dave has been such an honest and upfront guy to us!! I came in here because of the great reviews they have so i had faith. i shouldnt have trusted them. yea i got a great deal but probably because they knew i was going to have to spend more on getting new parts for my car. i purchased a used 2013 toyota & i was told by the salesman that the car has to go thru tests & be serviced properly before it can be sold. he assured me that the tires had to be at a certain level but after my purchase of the car. the same day i was hearing loud road noise with a constant flapping sound. my brake pedals & steering wheel would vibrate at times when slowing down from fast speeds (freeway.) i took it to a tire specialist on friday but they werent able to check my car because they were too busy so i took it on saturday. (i purchased the vehicle thursday at night.) the tire specialist told me that my tires were cupped making them irregular causing the flapping noise. as for the vibrating he said it was a balancing issue or brakes but he didnt check the brakes. he told me to go straight to the dealership i bought it from and tell them because it should have been taken care of before selling it. i did just that and when i got there this guy who i am assuming is the boss named chris came out to check out the car. when i told them what the tire specialist had told me he made a remark about the tire place trying to sell me new tires. right away i knew he was not going to try & help me in any way. he goes out to check on my tires and he rubs two fingers on one or two spots on each tire & then says with confidence that none of the tires are cupped. the man at the tire place ran his whole hand around each tire, you could obviously tell chris wasnt trying to even make an effort. the whole management team are acting confused as if they dont know why the car is doing this. chris drove the car & i rode passenger. i told him multiple times that the nosies and vibrations are more common on the freeway but he ignored me each time and just stayed driving on the streets. you could hear the flapping noise with the window down but chris kept claiming it was the tire quality because theyre entry level tires which have loud road noise. the tire specialist told me the tires WERE cheap tires but that it SHOULDNT be cupped which is causing the flapping sound. chris just kept denying the flapping sound. the sale was very smooth i have to give them that but its because theyre liars and tell you that everything was serviced and had to go through tests but if that was the case then why would they sell me a car with tires that are irregular? they either have bad standards for their tests or they liars. they pull out the documents stating the car is sold as is & because i signed the contract which stated that it wasnt serviced because its not a bmw or mini cooper that there is nothing they can do. chris even stated, hey the car was priced at 10,00 & you got it at 8,600 so thats a good deal. like seriously??? could you make it any more obvious that you knew about the cars issues. i take fault for signing that contract without fully reading it. MAKE SURE YOU DO but they salesman assured me more than once it was. trash

Worst dealer ever. They made us jump thru some many hoops to purchase an X5 cash and even after we did everything they said it was never enough. After paying them cash and taking delivery of our car, 40 days later they had done nothing with our dmv paperwork, still all at the dealer, no taxes paid, no registration or license plates, nothing. when I called to asked they asked why I was upset. This was normal to them. I will never go back or refer anyone to them. Buy your BMW at Rusnak or Van Nuys, even if the price is higher. Whatever Bob Smith tells you is not going to be true and you can never make them happy. An easy cash purchase has turned into a 4 week nightmare.

Not only did the customer service people hook me up with a great loaner for the time it took to get Geico to come look at car until it was fixed, the communication was great, payment was easy via the internet, and my car was waiting for me when I got there. I brought my mini cooper in for routine maintenance, only to get it back with a huge problem. I was losing power and the idle was very rough. When I got home I opened the hood to find the vacuum hose had been disconnected and broken off at the clamp. Their service tech told me to duct tape it and bring it back.After they repaired it they said the hose was leaking and that I needed to drive with premium fuel, which I do. But the hose wasnt leaking, it was completely disconnected and I took pictures to prove it.I can only conclude their service techs are poorly trained. I dont recommend you bring your mini here for service.

We traveled here to look---only. U know to see how the mini cars up front look. Very nice, able to sit in the seats. And they are very comfortable and totally adjustable, driver and passenger. We met salesman named robert rockstar justis. And that he is!!!! You want a mini then you diffently need rockstar, he will make it all come true!! Pre owned sale price more incredible then you can imagine. Now the hands on drivers lesson from the rockstar(because he raced) for paddle shifting sooo much funI get it!! Took my Mini for Brake inspection. less than an hour later they were finished. I waited in the lobby they had hot coffee, hot chocolate, Donuts and TV. Computers to use while waiting. Nice, fresh and clean inside the lobby.

This review is based only on the horrible phone system the Courtesy vehicles.My issues:-I received conflicting information regarding when my courtesy car needed to be returned to avoid additional fees.-It was next to impossible to speak to a someone in service when calling directly to clear up the conflicting info that I was given. The answering system would hang up on you after waiting on hold for a few minutes.-I was given a dirty courtesy car. The car was not even vacuumed out from the previous customer. Unfortunately, when I realized how dirty the car was, I had no time make a switch and had to rush off back to work.Very unprofessional...I will now drive further down the 101FWY to the other MINI dealer.

I went to Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas with my girlfriend, so she could test drive a certified pre-owned BMW. She had previously communicated with Rodger through email and he was able to show her what cars he had at the time that were close to the model/price she wanted. We went on a test drive with Rodger in a 128i. Then we went on another test drive in a 2009 BMW 135i Convertible. During the test drives Rodger answered our questions with very detail oriented responses with information about the cars.My girlfriend was very impressed with the 135is power and she fell in love with the red leather interior. Rodger treated us really respectfully and even made the extra effort to try and lower the selling price of the car and was able to save my girlfriend money! She bought the car right there on the spot! After filling out all the paperwork Rodger took the time to show my girlfriend all the features of the car and walked her through the BMW idrive navigation/information system. He answered all our questions and put in the extra effort to make sure my girlfriend felt comfortable with the technology in the car.

The worst dealership experience in all of my years of being a MINI driver - and a previous MINI customer Service Manager - having moved MINI from their own location under the roof of BMW obviously took its toll on the MINI service all around - tasks are not fulfilled and on top of all things a very personal item that I had left on my key chain was missing when I picked up my car - no apology- no comment of management - my phone is no longer linking to my car after it left the Bob Smith MINI service - I sent messages - wrote a Yelp review but zero reaction - what an arrogant attitude of a supposedly customer service oriented business - kudos to Bob Smith MINI for failing their job big time !
