I have been a member of BNI Ventura County for years. If you want to take your business to the next level then I would highly recommend exploring one of the local BNI groups. This is more than a networking group. Its an organization where business professionals build relationships with each other and help each other grow.
I started with BNI about 20 years ago, I was a part of a huge company and I found that the product I was selling was very hard to talk about.When I attended the BNI Group Meeting, I found not only several different ways of selling, but also ways of marketing and advertising.The Group was about 35 to 40 people, and they all became my marketing and advertising firm. Instead of me going out and selling, I shared with the group who and what I was and I then had 40 people selling for me. The concept is AMAZING, and more important is that it works!By the way, Ray Gonzales was our President of that group and he not only helped create a group of leaders, but very successful professionals that work as a family.
Ive been involved with BNI for the past year and Ive noticed two things (1) great referrals and (2) even better people. I was looking for a way to grow my business. A co- worker told me about a new chapter forming in Oxnard, CA. He explained that it works because it allows only 1 person per profession. BNI has given me a safe place for referrals, friendships and professional individuals who support each other’s businesses. The trust and expertise and helpfulness these people have given me has been a blessing. The only reason I moved on was due to moving out of the area. I own my own plumbing business and joining BNI has been an effective affordable way to increase my business. The comradership and community within the group is a life lasting relationship. It was a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by like minded individuals with the same visions and passions for success. 2020-06-21 21:11:58I was introduced to BNI 11 years ago while I assisted my boss. When my boss was no longer a member I was hooked and wondered how I could belong to BNI myself. A few years later I was able to start my own business and I immediately remembered the BNI. As I am currently an active BNI member my business has another very effective way of marketing. Being referred by people who know your work and trust you, is invaluable since it allows you to grow your business.When I met Ray Gonzalez with that endless energy and sharing his wisdom in business, I realized that growing my business through BNI was the right move.
