Great place for season ski lease, I get my daughters skis here every year.Amazing end of season sales and Labor Day tent sale cant be beat.Very knowledgeable techs both in sales and repair. Most recently these guys hooked me up with a replacement boot buckle that I feared Id be driving all over town for, but glad I started at Blue Zone.

I bounced around a handful of shops and use gear places in town looking for ski poles. This is absolutely the place to come and get some good gear. They have a good selection and variety and the prices were the best that I saw. I ended up buying a pair of used ski poles that are in great shape for a great deal . But even the brand new stuff was awesome prices

Literally walked into the store carrying skis and bindings to get mounted today, and got completely ignored by the staff. Employee served rhe family behind me and sent me to wander around the store some more . This is the 3rd time I have been unable to get any assistance here. Dont waste your time at blue drone sports.

Had a great ski boot fitting experience with Mark. He is very knowledgeable and worked with me for over an hour. I have an extremely low instep so we didnt end up finding the correct boot for me but he was very gracious and even gave me recommendations for specialty boots to look for. Thanks Mark! I will definitely be coming back to the shop for future equipment purchases.

Worst service Ive ever had at ANY business! They cannot even complete the most important task of a ski shop, mounting the ski in the correct place. They did not know how to find the center of the ski and mounted my ski 2cm back from the factory recommended line, making the ski unable to perform. When I came to pick up my skis the employee did not even notice it was incorrect and just handed them over. They then proceeded to give me excuses and lie to me about what they said they would do take care of me. I never got a refund for the mount that day and days later I had to call back to follow up and see what they were going to do. The general manager then proceeded to feed me lies and tell me how they would follow up with me the next day about getting me a new pair of skis to replace my miss-mounted ones. It has now been almost 30 days and I have still never heard from him and he will not answer any of my calls. I have even tried the corporate office, who pretended to sound concerned and told me the CEO would call me back the next day. Never heard back from them and they now wont answer at the office. This is the worst business Ive ever delt with and I will never recommend anyone to blue zone ever again this is just unacceptable. They have no respect for the customer and dont even have the common courtesy to keep me informed or refund me the money for the mount. Severely disappointed.

Having a big foot has usually made it hard for me to buy new ski boots in the past, as sizes are typically limited. Mark at Bluezone was extremely knowledgeable of every boot they sell, and went the extra mile to find me the perfect boot. I don’t typically write reviews, but felt like Mark needed some recognition for his professionalism and expertise. Thank you for taking the time to personalize this experience to make me feel comfortable with a large purchase like this. He even made sure to walk me to the register and inform the cashier to apply the local discount, which now seems like a rarity in this town. Thanks Mark!

My wife and I went to the new Blue Zone Sports in South Lake Tahoe to see if they could help us with a boot fitting. When we walked in the store we spoke to a gentleman named Matt who said he was one of the people who did the boot fitting.We then asked Matt what his experience had been in ski boot fitting since I know some people are more experience with snowboard boots, hiking boots, etc.Matt responded by saying that he didnt have to answer that. I then asked, sorry if we said something wrong, were just curious to know what your experience has been fitting people in ski boots to which he said, yeah, not telling you.The woman behind the counter laughed at us and he snickered back at her. We left feeling terrible, without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had in a retail store.We made the manager aware and he was very understanding so while I hate to give a bad review here I do need to warn other people. If I find out that Matt is no longer at the store I can certainly update my review since this is the only person I had a negative experience with.

Excellent experience purchasing a new ski package. Friendly, knowledgeable, individuals assisted me throughout the entire process of purchasing new skis, boots, bindings and poles. Huge thanks to custom boot fitter Mark, salesman Khalil, and store manager John for your professional expertise and second to none customer service!
