The team at Bluewater have been providing me with excellent service for years. Our most recent trip to the Philippines was a mix of LiveaBoards and resorts.Bluewater helped with literally everything. They know the best places and people. I finally saw some Hairy Frogfish and pygmy seahorses! The Philippines is a divers paradise and Bluewater made it an easy breezy 3 week adventure.

I recently returned from a 5 week trip to Australia and Palau including a 10 day live-aboard on the Palau Siren. Laura my Travel Advisor was FABULOUS attending to every detail of the trip. The trip and excellent service exceeded my expectations. The diving was excellent with 3+ dives most days in great locations. We experienced lots of mantas, sharks, schools of fish, wrecks, turtles, and beautiful hard and soft coral. I highly recommend Laura and Bluewater Travel for your next diving adventure. Thank you

Above and beyond service by my travel agent Anne Rucquoi and Bluewater Travel!!! I highly recommend them to anyone considering traveling to Indonesia or elsewhere for diving excursions or other fun in the sun. I spent 4 weeks in May, 2024, traveling in Indonesia, with stays in Bali, Labuan Bajo, and Sorong before, between, and after back-to-back live-aboard diving trips in Komodo (7 nights on the Neptune One) and Raja Ampat (11 nights on the Calico Jack). The resorts Anne booked me at when not on the live-aboards were all immaculate (Kuta Seaview in Bali, Sudamala Resort in Labuan Bajo, and the Aston in Sorong). Anne arranged for all of my international and domestic air flights, transfers to and from airports and hotels, and to the live-aboard vessels, as well as coordinating my live-aboard reservations. She also was extremely helpful answering my questions about visa requirements and etiquette and customs to be aware of in the areas of Indonesia I visited. The entire trip went perfectly, exactly as planned, with no problems or complications. And whenever I had a question, Anne or another Bluewater agent responded within minutes. Im already planning my next diving adventure and will certainly work with Anne and Bluewater Travel again. They are 5 Stars all the way and I recommend them highly and without question!

Our dive trip to Fakarava with Tim Yeo from Bluewater Travel was truly memorable. Thanks to Tim the trip ran very smoothly. We saw not only a huge variety of sharks (grey, lemon, blackfin, blacktips, tiger…) - but in huge quantities as well: see the video frame. The accommodations were fantastic, with Havaiki Lodge offering comfort and Motu Aito providing a peaceful retreat. A perfect mix of exciting dives and great lodging made this an unforgettable adventure. We highly recommend trips with Tim and Bluewater Travel in general.

I would reccomend Simon 100%. Simon helped out on all the details on this trip(minus air travel). We did run into a few problems, but Simon helped us resolve the issues a quickly as possible and we had a great stay at the Iberostar Bayahibe hotel (picture of one of the many birds on the hotel grounds attached). and the Dressel dive shop(several members of staff pictured). was excellent in all respects. We took several dive excursions to Soana Island(pictures of Soana Is. and and a favorite resident attached). The overall trip was a great value and is highly recomended.

Can’t say enough about Bluewater Travel and our agent, Laura. She answered all the many questions we had in a timely manner after booking the Indo Siren for a February 2024 trip to Raja Ampat. She really came through when the Indo Siren suffered a catastrophic fire, getting us a full refund after originally we were told to “wait”while they tried to find another boat. Laura immediately had another, even better, boat lined up, plus 3 days at a land resort so we could keep our flights unchanged. The detailed itinerary provided of the updated trip was so helpful. If we hadn’t had someone to advocate for us, who knows what boat we would ended up on, if one at all. Clients for life.

May 2024 Review: Solomon Islands LiveAboard with the Bilikiki. We just had a 10 day magical trip in the Solomon’s. The crew of the Bilikiki was amazing and the dive sites specially Tulagi, the mangroves and devil’s highway were epic. Best hard corals I have seen in my live. The diversity of marine live is incredible and the people from the Solomon’s are just amazing. It was a wonderful and humbling experience visiting the Solomon Islands.December 2023 Review: We just had a magical diving trip to Xcalak, Banco Chinchorro and Tulum (Cenotes). We saw hundreds of Tarpons, Manatee, eagle rays in Xcalak; We saw nurse sharks, pristine corals and got lucky to see a pod of 12 dolphins and 4 salts water crocs. The Cenotes were amazing!. Thanks to Bluewater and XTC diving ….we had a grand adventure…can wait for our next trip with Bluewater!

I was looking for a travel agency that specializes in scuba diving trips as there are many little steps to organize for the hotel, food, dives, equipment more than other travel sites. It was a great experience to have one dedicated agent to move through all those steps, answer questions and be involved in the travel plan experience. Outstanding ServiceI have now planned two complex Indonesia dive trips with Bluewater Travel and have received personalized service to tailor the trips to our specific needs. The time, care, and attention I received planning the trips was top-notch. But where Bluewater really shines is with their assistance during the trip when flight schedules and the best-laid plans go sideways. Across the Pacific Ocean and multiple time zones, Jessie at Bluewater not only knew of flight cancellations prior to me learning of them, but she booked new travel arrangements quickly and saved me the hassle and lost time while in-country. For that alone, Bluewater deserves 6 stars!

Honestly, what I should do is leave a one star review and tell everyone to avoid Bluewater like the plague. Then I won’t have to battle the hordes of other divers in making my future bookings.But, that would be slightly unethical. So here goes:I have nothing but good things to say about Bluewater Travel and my coordinator Jaime Smith. This was my first use of Bluewater Toravel, and my experience was excellent Jasmine there was very responsive, she timely took care of everything, and was a pleasure to work with. Their site is a good source to search for scuba liveaboard trips. My trip to the Maldives did not disappoint, and had lots of variety. The reefs appeared very healthy and interesting, with lots of schools of yellow snapper and other fish, some dives with lots of sharks and rays, we saw manta rays and octopus, and got to snorkel with a whale shark. The Maldives Aggressor II and its crew were great.

I went on a trip to Romblon, and Romblon was a place with a lot of questions that were not solved by internet research. Particularly concerning was the unconfirmed transportation.Everyone will have a lot of questions about the first place they visit. It was BlueWater Travel that solved those questions quickly and accurately. In particular, I was very moved by Anne Lucquois sincere service for helping me with my reservation. In spite of the variable transportation, or the somewhat sudden reservation inquiry, she proceeded with sincerity, and she helped me to be sure and confirm all the elements of the travel reservation.I am well aware of the importance of the reservation process because I run the resort. I think her service was a very good example not only for users but also for the resort, which is a partner. I have never used a dive travel agency to plan my dive trips until I stumbled upon Blue Water Travel. I was skeptical at first, but Jessie our travel advisor quickly put me at ease and did an excellent job working with me to plan our trip to Raja Ampat and post dive stay in Ubud. She was very easy to work with and made it an enjoyable collaborative experience. Her follow-up was excellent and attention to details ensured all the pieces lined up so the trip went smoothly without a hitch. I had the pleasure of working with Jessie Hug, who helped me arrange a school trip to get a group of my students dive certified in Cozumel. Needless to say, there were a lot of moving pieces and complications involved when bringing a group of kids on an international trip, and Jessie was so helpful and responsive to all of my questions/concerns before, during, and after the trip. She even helped me communicate with the insurance, airlines, and dive shop when I needed to file claims for reimbursement (and this was no easy task!)Overall, Im so pleased and grateful for her help. Weve just returned from a month of diving in North Sulawesi. Having no experience using Blue Water Travel I reached out to the team on a cold call. I was quickly directed to Sandrine, an agent with experience in the area we wanted to visit. With keen attention to our list of hopes and wishes she designed a three destination trip that checked all the boxes. We began in Manado at the Murex resort and it was clear that Blue Water Travel was our agent. We were given the white glove treatment, for the next 3 weeks my wife and I had our own personal dive guide. We dove many of the Bunaken National Marine Park/ Manadotua sites for a week of wall diving at its finest. When an issue arose requiring three days of construction work to a damaged jetty at the resort Sandrine arranged for boat diving in the afternoon at no cost. Next stop was Bangka where our deluxe hillside room was not only very private but also newly upgraded. We left the walls of Bunaken for what turned out to be a great mix of macro diving and more beautiful reefs. After 7 days on Bangka we were transfered by boat to the Lembeh straits, we did 2 dives along the way (an added bonus). The resort that Sandrine had suggested for accomodations was the Lembeh Resort, they collaborate with Critters at Lembeh that runs the dive operation side of the house. At each step of our adventure Sandrine was available to us by email, phone, and text. Her commitment to customer satisfaction did not end when we paid the balance for the trip. Always willing to take the next step with us she even arranged for us to dive Nusa Penida in Bali after we left Sulawesi. The team at Blue Water Travel is professional and patient...actually thoughtful in every detail. Thank to Sandrine, Tim and the rest of the team for helping to make our trip an incredible experience.

You can find adventures all across the globe in one single spot and don’t have to spend hours doing any research at all.I went swimming with Orcas in Norway and diving in Galapagos, Equador all in one month and there’s no way I would have done that on my own.The super easy website navigation, customer service guidance and the easy booking process at BT helped free up a lot of my time. I’ve always loved joining liveaboards, but sometimes it gets tricky trusting a boat and booking directly. I’ve had my fair share of issues dealing with boats canceling multiple times, having leaks, and unprofessional staff. Nobody wants to spoil a dive holiday. Thankfully, I met Tim of Blue Water when he visited the Philippines. Now booking a liveaboard just got easier as Blue Water can help me filter out the good boats, and decide on the best months for my dive destinations. There is after sales in Blue Water too, as they can recommend nearby hotels, etc.All things said, I am very much satisfied with the service of Blue Water. Every crew member was gracious and courteous, taking great care of our equipment and our needs. The pre-dive information was well prepared and described by the divemasters. Accommodations were very comfortable with great air conditioning. The small number of divers allows for longer dives. Great organization! Our trip to Raja Ampat included a week’s stay at Dive Raja Ampat.I was trying to book internal air (complicated by time changes and small airports in cities unknown to me) when I found Laura at Bluewater Travel. She responded immediately and helped us book our stay at Dive Raja Ampat which offered great diving and food was good.We are divers and birders and excited to hike to leks where two species of birds of Paradise were active. The hike was difficult for me but I was rewarded with life birds.

Great trip to Belize on Aggressor IV through Bluewater Travel, Gillian was awesome with helping me getting it booked just five to six weeks before the start date. Traveling during Covid isn’t easy for a lot of people these days but Gillian and Bluewater made sure every minor to major detail was well addressed long before the trip departed. The video and photo workshops on this trip run by Todd Kortte and Mike Chiado were incredible. I had virtually no experience with underwater videoing or with a GoPro in general before this trip. After just one of Todd’s lectures focusing on the GoPro, I felt better prepared and more confident that I could go out and get some decent shots. Hopefully Bluewater puts together another dive trip/workshop focusing on GoPro videoing, I would highly recommend attending if you have even the slightest bit of interest in plunging into the beautiful world of underwater videoing and or photography. I can’t wait to book my next trip through Bluewater.

My brother and I arranged a 4 day dive trip in La Paz Mexico through Bluewater and have only good things to report. We worked with Jessie Hug, who was knowledgable, friendly and efficient. She set us up with a great hotel (Costa Baja) and dive operator, Mexico Travel Adventure. Everything came through without a hitch, and in fact, we couldnt have asked for better. It was so helpful to work with someone who knows the area and was able to put source us the best operators. Jessie was also a fantastic communicator, proactive and reactive. She knows her stuff and was good to deal with.

This is not a travel organization. These are criminals. My party booked a week-long vacation, and they did not have the dive, even though we paid. Edit: I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars since the founder of Bluewater Travel reached out personally. My husband and I have been very impressed with the effort they have put into making this right. We are currently reconsidering future travel with them.Horrible customer service. We have been ignored and lied to on multiple occasions. We booked a trip but had to cancel. We did so well in advance and followed the cancelation guidelines. They, however, did not. They owed us a portion of our money back and said they would let us know right away how it would be refunded and then disappeared. Communication has been sparce with them just giving us the run around. It has been months and we still have no clue how or if they are planning on issue us the refund. Stay away!

My experience aboard Avalon IV at the Jardines de la Reina, Cuba was excellent - above expectations. I was surprised at the roominess of the accommodation and common areas, more like a floating resort.In fact, the food was better than Ive had in upscale resorts. It included what I would call conventional American items as well as seafood expertly prepared. We had lobstermany nights, tender and tasty.Prebooking was an efficient and thorough process. The instructions included a walkthrough of the various forms required for travel to Cuba that made it as easy as travel toany other foreign country. It helped that the Cuban officials were friendly, efficient, and welcoming of Americans.As for diving, its for pelagics. I didnt see anything on a macro scale, although some fellow divers did report sightings. Macro may have been better if I had had a personal guide; butthat was not the purpose of this trip. By pelagics, I mean lots of grey reef sharks that cruised around us like pets. I believe they were looking for lion fish handouts as the guidesspeared them as often as possible and offered them to the sharks. The hit of the show were the giant groupers, larger than myself, that we saw on many of the dives. And again, I thinkthey appeared because the guides fed them lobster that were abundant.The reefs were not that colorful, and the walls were usually grey, holding large fans and sponges, Many of the sandy bottoms were not that deep and the sunlight lit them well.All in all, the Cuba trip was great, well beyond expectations; and as a result, I personally feel rejuvenated. We enjoyed a private van tour with English speaking guides from airport to circumnavigate the island of Bali to visit 5 - 3 start resorts with 26 epic SCUBA dives and 4 cultural land tours & back to airport in 15 days. Bluewater Travel, Aqua-Marine Divers and other local tour services were very accommodating to coordinate different arrival days for our group and our requested changes as the trip progressed. Drivers & guides were always early and ready for each days adventure with spare time to stop for photos, refreshments and answer questions about Bali Culture. Dive sites included great interaction with Manta, Mola Mola, Octopus, Cuttle Fish, walls and muck dives with a dozen other critters Ive yet to ID, and impressive artificial reefs and a topiary coral garden. Katie is AWESOME!! It was a lengthy booking process as we went through many options for Raja Ampat. She is super knowledgeable about the area/options and helped me choose the perfect one. Then a few monts later I decided to add another week somewhere else and she helped me choose Sulawesi for flight convenience so I didn’t have to overnight anywhere. OUR LIFELINE AFTER DISASTER! Weve been on several dive trips, but this was the first dive trip through a travel agent. Using Bluewater Travel was one of the best choices Ive ever made. We were on board the Indo Siren which caught fire and sank during our Indonesia trip in November 2023. The fire started during a dive so we lost everything except our dive gear and what the crew grabbed: our passports, shoes, and a couple of shirts. Our phones, credit cards, cash, clothes were all gone. Katie at Blue Water worked with the boats owner, Master Liveaboards, to help us get what we needed. Master Liveaboards got us immediate needs like transportation to a city with an airport, clothing, food, a temporary phone, and a hotel room. Then Katie helped us book a new flight out and made hotel reservations in Bali. Katie worked with Bluewaters worldwide connections to get cash to us when we arrived in Bali so that we could continue our vacation. That alone was a minor miracle and involved countless hours and people. Katie never complained even though it happened on her birthday and she missed her own birthday dinner. I could not be more grateful for what she did. Katie was our lifeline when we needed it most and the emotional relief of having someone taking care of us was priceless. I travelled to Belize for a week of diving on the Belize Aggressor IV. from June 24th to July 1st. This was my first time using Bluewater Dive Travel based on reviews that I found online. Unfortunately, the air travel with United down to Belize was a disaster with delayed flights and cancelled flights resulting in a delay of more than a day and a half in my arrival. Jaime, my Bluewater Dive Travel Advisor, was there all along the way communicating with Aggressor about my ever changing travel plans due to the flight issues and even suggesting other flight options. She arranged with Aggressor to have one of their staff pick me up at the airport to get me to the dock and ultimately on the boat resulting in losing only one day of my trip. This was my first time using any travel agency and I will never not travel abroad again without one. Bluewater Travel organized an epic safari experience that exceeded my expectations. I got very well informed and helped by Laura. My 3 month trip was very flexible and I didnt know where to go yet, but Laura helped me to truly the best spots. Even after booking she kept in touch to make sure everything was good. Also important to mention is that the prices are the same, so there is no commission or something like that. The only thing to mention maybe is that the resorts and liveaboards advised are mid to high in terms of quality and price. So the cheaper options should be found somewhere else. That being sad its still 5 stars from me!

The February 2023 Socorro Bluewater Trip on the Rocio del Mar was an excellent experience. My second time on this trip and both time its been wonderful with memorable encounters with pelagic marine life. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have opportunities to be in the water with mantas, sharks, and possibly dolphins and whales. Bluewater provides an excellent photography workshop opportunity with like minded underwater photographers and videographers.

Upon arrival in Chuuk, our liveaboard boat trip was cancelled due to engine problems. We had to fly back to Guam and re-group. Two options: Go straight home or arrange for another dive trip elsewhere.We got in touch with Anne and Bluewater Travel who set us up for a 5-day land-based dive trip on Palau with Sams Tours. The package included a total of 13 dives (we went out on skiffs with between 10 and 12 people: 2 dives in the morning, 1 dive in the afternoon on 3 of the days -- 2 dives on the remainder of the days), as well as 7 days in the Palasia Hotel, a lovely place to stay. The dive shop picked us up from the hotel daily, and dropped us off afterwards.We were so appreciative of Anne at Bluewater Travel saving our dive trip. We loved our week on the Tiburon. Katie answered all my questions up front and helped with the details to get there and back. Everything on the boat was amazing. I recently used Laura Taylor at Bluewater Travel for the second time. This time we traveled to the Philippines for one month. We had already decided to visit Anilao as it is nirvana for nudi lovers. She suggested Solitude Acacia resort when others were full and we could not have been happier. A beautiful small resort with very attentive staff. The diving was spectacular if you want to see nudis . Laura then suggested we travel to Dauin for the next two weeks and said she should be able to find us a room at Atmosphere Resort. The diving was different but just as amazing (more frogfish, octopus, seahorses). The water was warmer in Dauin, which was more to my liking.Atmosphere Resort is a larger hotel with bungalows spread about lush grounds. We spent an unforgettable month in the Philippines and I give my highest praise to Laura for helping us find, making the reservations, helping with special requests, and steering us away from places that probably would not have suited us well.

I still cant get over the incredible week we just had snorkeling with humpback whales in Moorea, French Polynesia! Thank you Bluewater Travel for organizing this amazing tour! We got to observe a nice mix of whales: moms with calves, juvenile whales, a mom, calf and escort, as well as a playful calf encounter and listening to/seeing male singers. That left me speechless! I highly recommend this trip … the Damai II (ship) hosting 12 divers exceeded our expectations with its experienced crew, team leaders, dive masters, the over-the-top high-end cuisine and accommodations. Raja Ampat’s 85-deg underwater paradise did not disappoint. You will see otherworldly creatures that are unimaginably beautiful. Ive been on dive trips with a bunch of different tour groups, and Bluewater Travel was absolutely one of the best.The trip I just got back from was with another group, and it made me realize how SPOILED I was by Bluewaters communication and individualized attention.The price was very reasonable, and the trip was to La Paz, Mexico, which means... SEA LIONS! I was so excited.BEFORE THE TRIP:They were fast to reply and gave you all the information you needed to know. Our trip leader and photography expert was Nirupam Nigan (see my review for Bluewater Photos store). Ahead of time he organized a zoom to explain everything wed need to know and to answer the barrage of questions we all had.We were traveling during the pandemic of course (Oct/Nov 2021) so we had to follow all the proper protocols which Bluewater made clear to us and then facilitated testing once we got to the location.They made everything easy, which... apparently not the case with all dive travel groups.DURING THE TRIP:This was not only a dive trip but also a wide angle photography workshop. I came away with photos I was so proud of, when all my other previous wide-angle shots were simply an exercise in frustration.Also from Bluewater on the trip was Mike (whose last name I forget) who was equally as great. If youve dived with UW photographers then you know how much gear we have. Well, we all had gear questions and other things demanding attention and I have no idea how Mike & Nirupaum dealt with our constant needs.It wasnt just things like can you help me get this port off? or my strobe is down, can you help? but also questions on good restaurants, best parts of the dive sites, how to get the sea lions to come over to you, etc... And we did it all happily and safely during the middle of a pandemic.The hotel and dive operation were fantastic. The group was just the right size, and I met great people on the trip that I still talk to.AND THE SEA LIONS! Oh my god. I just fell in love. I mean, we all did. I cannot recommend this trip enough -- Im looking forward to going on another trip with Bluewater Travel when my schedule allows!

This was my 3rd trip with Bluewater. I signed up for a photo workshop in Socorro/Revillagigedo on the Rocio del Mar liveaboard.Excellent all the way around. Best diving of my life. Cant wait to go back.I will definitely continue to join Bluewater photo trips, great value, excellent trip leaders, phenomenal destinations.Nirupam and Gill provide exceptional customer service.Couldnt have been better.

My first BWT trip in 2016 to the Maldives was my introduction to the group liveaboard dive experience. Initially apprehensive and uncertain, I quickly found the ease of booking and absence of effort researching trip logistics, itineraries and charters refreshing. I quickly booked another trip to Guadalupe in Sept 2016 for their Great White Shark adventure (a trip that solidified my allegiance to BWT). Being impressed by both experiences (BWT trips are well organized, conservationally minded, welcoming and fun) encouraged me to book two more trips - French Polynesia in Sept 2017 & Galapagos in May 2018. Each of these trips, in their entirety, far exceeded my expectations. I found the excellence of boat, crew, dive masters and guides that BWT utilizes comforting. I am now booked on two future trips with BWT to PNG in Sept 2018 and Raja Ampat in Mar 2019, confident that I will again be given the opportunity to witness the best that these destinations have to offer - without requiring the usual legwork and uncertainties on my part.Although destination travel is full of complications, the staff at BWT is remarkably capable of putting these trips together. I know that if I get myself to the assigned meeting point, I can be assured that all other details regarding my dive trip will have been addressed. No small feat considering the many foreign destinations BWT offers and one that I fully appreciate. It’s relieving to know I have BWT working for me.BWT delivers high-quality professional service and experiences that are worth my valuable investment of time and money. I look forward to exploring many more future destinations with BWT. I can’t thank or recommend BWT enough, and Katie Yonker in particular, who has thoroughly and thoughtfully led all my trips to date.

This was a great trip, really exceeding expectations especially in terms of the service provided by Dan, Bobbie, Josh, Simon, Carlos, Xavi and Louis. Really worked well together as a team on a schedule that was pretty tough. Lots of diving (some of our party did all 5 / day every day) and my young son esp enjoyed the excitedment of diving with sharks at night

Katie Yonker (and BWDT) is my go-to resource for dive trips, and I can recommend them unequivocally! Buddies and I have booked several trips through Katie, and could not be happier! Those trips include Guadalupe for great white sharks (which Katie led and where I met her), Cayman Aggressor, Cuba, and multiple Philippines trips, one led by Katie and several where I chartered an entire liveaboard for my dive group through BWDT (and five more future charters scheduled).In planning all of my trips, the BWDT website has especially been a wealth of information! It has extensive information about virtually every dive destination in the world, as well as all major resorts and liveaboards at each.Whether its just a trip for my buddy and me, or chartering an entire liveaboard, I get the same 5-star service from BWDT. Katie worked hard for us even before COVID-19, but dealing with COVID-related trip cancellations in the Philippines, her dedication really shined through - she worked hundreds of extra hours (for no extra income) sorting out details for every person in my group (about 20 of us!).Katie is also knowledgeable enough to have insights and research on each destination...to help me make decisions and ensure that each trip goes as planned! In several instances, Katie has made suggestions that saved us considerable money (despite her and BWDT making LESS), so I totally trust that she has my best interests, not her own, at the forefront. Sadly, nowadays its hard to find people/companies about which one can say that...but Katie/BWDT fits that rare mold!
