Nice park to stop at to have a meal or just have a wide open space. Just busy enough to feel lively but not overwhelming. Plenty of grass space to run and trails to walk on.Could really use a bathroom upgrade, incredibly filthy, and the other one was closed. Hard to tell what the buildings are from a distance so it could be good to add clearer signs, too.

Beautiful park lots of squirrels and they also had peacocks. They do charge $5 on weekends and holidays, free during the week. Only down was the restrooms were closed but it could be because of Covid-19.

My family and I were looking for Hiddenbrooke park for a trail and Google Maps took us to a private road that whose entrance had a do not enter sign, but said to go a 1/4 mile down the road. The blue rock springs park is nice. The only problem is there is a gate on the trail that you have to sort of sneak through so its hard to tell where the path is supposed to go with all of the fences and things. Beautiful view.

Stop by here whenever I can, its a big part of.my life.Always well maintained. Still miss the bird aviary there, and all the animals that use to be there.Theres only like 1 peacock there now, when I was there yesterday I had to keep telling some kids to leave it alone, they were chasing it trying to hit it with sticks, and throwing rocks.And a adult was just watching this going on.I asked him to please control his kids.This is the animals are gone there, from being abused, and even killed.

Did not spend any time in the park/picnic area here. We hiked up the hill. (* Warning the trail up to the hill is currently surrounded by nettles - where long pants! *) It is a very short hike to a wonderful view spot just above the park. Or you can head up the trail a mile or so to where the paragliders take off from. The start of the hike is pretty steep, but after that it is mostly level. Not many different trails to take but a nice walk.We just went back yesterday, and the Peacocks where back. There were at least 6 males and 2 females.

This is a really nice park in Vallejo! Its kid safe and has a nice playground for them. My family calls it the Peacock Park because youre sure to see some when you go.

Great place for a private BBQ and very kid-friendly. I was hired to take family photos and found the setting to be very quiet with plenty of options for creative looks including two bridges, a small lake, and a solid playground for the kids. The $5 entry fee didn’t make any sense but that’s okay.

The one thing that really bothered me is that there parking was filled up but yet they still charged you to get in even though there was no parking. We were there for a birthday party and people were just parking whichever way they wanted too.

Quiet park and a good location for a family BBQ. I was hired as a photographer to take family portraits and found the park to be kid friendly with plenty of options for creative backdrops. The $5 entry fee was annoying but otherwise it was a nice park.

Beautiful park. I love the playground they put in a few years back. I reserve my events here whenever i can. If you want the lake view location book it a few weeks in advance as i think its the most popular to reserve. I love seeing the peacocks and i do try to hike up that california trail in the back. They will also allow permits for alcohol and jumpers

This park is awesome! The parking is only $5 (usually) and there is plenty of open space. They have grills for you to use and some of them are close to a nice playground for the children to have fun in. They also have a trail you can walk, its beautiful and there are peacocks roaming around sometimes. Theres lots of open space to play games or to bring your own lawn chairs or awnings.

Great park that is easy to recommend to anyone. There are ample picnic tables, grills, and open spaces. We saw 4 resident peacocks that were walking around the park. The playground its huge and has all age groups covered. We went on a short hike to the top of the ridge above the park. The view from the top was better than youd expect and the park service mows the trail to keep is very wide and clear. We went in April, and there were tons of ticks on the trail. Basically every single plant that had something hanging over the trail had one or many trucks eating to grab us. They are fairly easy to spot and the trail maintenance gave us enough room to avoid getting any at all, but be aware. Note: no dogs allowed at the park because of the free-roaming peacocks.

Nice park for a day outdoors. Great little playground for kids, water refill stations & tables around the park that were perfect for picnics or BBQs. There were some nice little areas to walk around the creek, with bridges that eventually lead to a pond with turtles and tiny fish. It was a great little place to adventure. The only down is the sulfur smell near the creek but its pretty much limited too that area. Overall nice spot for a family outing or just to go walking in the sunshine.

This is a very nice park but it is not maintained when it comes to the restrooms. There was no toilet paper no seat covers the floors were nasty and theres only one rest room but the whole park. Also they need more parking this park is huge and you dont tell me I have to park by Miles Away on walk. Not good. So if you want to visit this park get there early and claim your parking space.

Beautiful, the park is awesome! Theres even a variety of wildlife, mostly birds such as peacocks, turkeys, hawks, and even a single rooster 😉. It could use a changing table for babies and little ones in diapers but other than that its kept up pretty good. Costs $5 to drive in on the weekends but its free weekdays. Worth it in my opinion.

It was a beautiful park.With lots of trees and green grass for the Children and everyone to enjoy. There was a large playground structure. There were wild turkeys. The only bad spot I noticed was near the parking area, down by the creek when it it really hot there are some benches you should not pick as your picnic area. The smell from the creek is horrible. Other than that its beautiful.😊

My mom got married here this month. The grounds are gorgeous and clean. Lots of stuff for the kids to do and a chill place for the parents. Only downside, I had to deal with a staff that was directing us to out reserved spot and the lady was clearly under the influence of something. Over all a great place. Dont let high Park attendants detour you from this awesome place. Will be returning

This place is pretty cool, it has two different skate parks, 1. Has a huge skate Bowl and 2. Thee other has rails and half pipes but must obey the rules, as they both arent open simultaneously. They open one on odd days and on even days the other is unlocked and open. Happy Rollin!!!

I came here with my son, on a weekend to go to their Park. We tend to call it the eucalyptus Park, due to all the eucalyptus trees that are around the whole area. Theres also a very tall slide, that he loves to go down, as well as a fun rock climbing wall. The only downside, is that some weekends you have to pay for parking. There are certain times that you dont have to pay, I just dont know all the details on when those are.

Space was secluded from the rest of the BBQ areas so it was just our family. Tables were great and easy to clean. Pits need some serious work as they are nasty and broken but we made do. Bring lots of foil. Another issue is the bathrooms are a bit away from our site and they are nasty as well. You might want to order a couple of portapots. The trail is a 4 difficulty where there are salamanders, flowers, snakes and Mountain Lion area. Fun walk and the park is wonderful.

Rented an area at the park for a birthday party. It was a fairly simple process to rent a spot on a non holiday weekend Saturday. The people for the City of Vallejo I dealt with were very helpful. Had a great party there. I took off one star because they do charge a fee to park and because we had to clean up trash in the area we had reserved. Recommend getting there early because they will allow you to drive out to your site or very close to it depending on spot to make unloading easy. May have to wait til 5:00 to be able drive in to load up.

On vacation and the sun is up until 9pm, so, I called to see if I could get on twilight. Frank said come on down! I got there at 4pm and was finished by 7:15pm. Played the West Course with a member and had fun. $25 for 18 on a FRI? Nice!Green were in good shape, rough is fair and fairways can take a divot. Bunkers are a little hard, but, pick it clean and youll be fine. Electric carts are quiet.If you are in the area and sitting in traffic, stop by for a twilight round and still be home by 8pm.

They charged $5.00 to get in, no dogs were allowed in the park, we had to go to the parking lot to smoke, and they wouldnt let us fish or go crabbing. They really messed up many years ago when they renovated the park and started charging.

Checked out this easy hiking spot. First time here. Great view of the golf course, but will not come back. I gave it two stars because for 75% of my the time on the trail, I had to deal with ticks, those pesky thorny prickly weed plant that is growing on both sides of the trail, and fox tails trying to crawl anywhere and everywhere in my shoes and sox.If you decide to check the trail out, wear long solid color pants and long sleeve shirt so you can spot the white grey ticks and long sox to avoid those prickly plants and fox tails. Bring a weed wacker if you can!Side note: I did see that someone brought their dog along and didnt bother to clean after it on the trail. I would not recommend bringing your dog on this trail.

This park offers you the opportunity to celebrate birthdays with jumpers for the kids or adults lol i did it but got winded (too old haha) and plenty of park table benches with bbq grills, plenty of playground to play with other kids in the park for the kids, even though i myself went down the big slide hahaha super fun, and on occasions you will get the splendid perk of getting to see a peacock or two sometimes, it depends, then there is a pond passing a little bridge that has turtles in it or on tree stumps, sun bathing, after a satisfying bbq with the fam you can burn off the calories taking a beautiful site seeing hike ( beware of possible snakes mind you even though i have not seen any ...YET!) Up a hill behind a gate that once on top of the hill you get ro see Vallejo in all its beautiful splendor and best part there are benches at every corner of hill so if you are a lil out of shape (Like me lol) you can take a kittle breather and rest up a bit so as to continue on to the next bench and the next bench then on top take beautiful photos of the view for your facebook or instagram, snapchat, twitter. All in all this place is a great place to spend with the family or if you have no kids like me, just you and the hubby and to add a little bit more fun add some friends. Enjoy.

Not the best place to go with your dogs you have to walk across the park that is not accessible to your dogs then the climb up the hill is a little bit of a puffer if your as old as I the view is Awesome from the Top If you get out there in the early mornings or as sunset comes otherwise during the day all you see is houses

You can take a 6 mile round trip hike from Hanns Park to Blue Rock Springs Park. Only bummer is that part of the corridor trail is right next to golf course. Or you can do 4 mile round trip from Hanns Park to Columbus Parkway.
