I ordered 6 custom floral arrangements with sliced lemons in the jar for my daughters bridal shower. Her theme was She found her main squeeze. The arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! Everyone at the shower complimented on how beautiful the centerpieces looked. I was amazed at the great job that Renni did with this floral arrangement!This was my first time working with Bixby Knolls Florist, but you can bet it will not be my last. I was very impressed from the beginning when I got on a call with Renni, her customer service was excellent! She was so sweet and kind to work with. I was totally sold when Renni told me that she would send me a replica of the arrangement that I would receive. When we received the arrangements at the venue, it was exactly like the photo she had sent to me. I was running a little late to the venue, but when I arrived the beautiful floral arrangements were setup on the tables, it was breathtaking!Also, I ordered an arrangement of yellow Gladiolus in a tall vase to sit on the dessert table. Ordered a Valentines arrangement that arrived sooner than expected and was perfect for the occasion.Flowers were fresh and looked amazing. Ordered online near closing time on Saturday for a Monday delivery. I appreciated the email notification Monday afternoon that the bouquet was delivered. It was my moms 94th birthday, I needed same day delivery and my usual florist was not available which was a huge disappointment. I called around to a few local places an no one could make it happen, I almost gave up. Bixby Knolls Florist and Miss Reny are amazing!!! They delivered a beautiful flower arrangement early morning on my friends birthday but there were no balloons included per the order. There was a mixup on the part of 1800flowers and instead of fixing it, 1800flowers incorrectly tried to cancel my order and take my friends flowers back!! I called Bixby Knolls Florist and got the best customer service from Reny!! She apologized for the mistake that wasn’t even hers! And to make things better she added a lovely box of chocolates to the balloons for my friends birthday gift! The price gouging is out of control here. $90 for an otherwise $15 bouquet on Valentine’s Day. Do yourself a favor and get one off the freeway exit, same quality, same quantity. And since you decided to respond so kindly I will add that I’ve been in your grungy store numerous times and have always thought your prices are too high. In addition was SO uncomfortable when presumably you came to the counter and started berating your sales woman for not charging enough for a phone order in front of all the customers, it’s not her fault your “sales are low”. Treat your customers and your employees better and you will have better results. Maybe you just can’t afford to do business. You should free up the real estate so a thriving business can operate in that space.

I recently ordered an arrangement of flowers for a funeral. This was my first time ordering for a funeral and they made it super easy for me. They made a beautiful arrangement and I was very happy with how it turned out. As you can see in the picture, there was a misspelling on the ribbon. I was a little disappointed from it, but it was an easy fix to just remove it. Not a big deal to me.The communication was great, they gave advice when it was needed, everything was done over the phone or via text message, and she sent pictures of the final look. When I saw it at the ceremony, it brightened up the room during this difficult time and I know our family appreciated the thoughtfulness.I will definitely use them again in the future!

I needed some flowers sent last minute. Ms. Rennie took care of me personally. She was very understanding over the phone and went the extra mile. She had the flowers delivered the next day. I was so impressed by her customer service and quality of work, that I called on her a second time. I think this florist is a hidden gem in Long Beach. They are outstanding at what they do and at how they do it. I have sent flowers many times in my life, but this was the first unique time where the sender and recipient both felt comforted.

I made an order online for sympathy flowers to be delivered to my best friend today. Using the website was very easy to navigate and gives you the option to send card message and specific instructions to the delivery driver. The flower arrangement was beautiful and was delivered before noon the next day. I received an email confirming the flowers were delivered. However I did have 2 issues with my order:1) Message on the card did not exactly match what I wrote in my order. My name was misspelled and there was a missing word in the message. This comes off as a rushed order and not professional.2) Although the flowers were delivered, my friend never received a phone call scheduling the delivery. She lives in an apartment complex in Long Beach. I was worried that the flowers were going to be left outside her door/gate like a previous post had mentioned. Luckily her roommate was home that day.The reason Im giving this company 4 stars is because I emailed the owner the issues with my order and she quickly responded with an apology and promise to double check future orders to avoid mistakes. She also said she would waive the delivery fee for a future order. Admitting to a mistake and trying to make up for it is good customer service.Buuut one thing I do want to mention is she spelled my name wrong AGAIN when she wrote me back in the email lol. Ill probably order just the flowers without a card message next time ha.EDIT: I changed my review to 5 stars because Rennie responded with an apology note and chocolates early the next day. Ive lived in long while life. Born and raised here. For years I used the same flower shop that, I will keep nameless, and recently had a horrible experience. I left the state of CA for work in WA, and as a result I didnt get to see my wife for those special days (birthday, valentines day, etc.) I told the local flower shop--my preferred flower shop for years--this and they delivered to my home beyond subpar, horrible dead or dying flowers in the arrangement. Sure I understand its last minute, you ran out, but to spend several hundreds? That was inexcusable. Thus for a while now Ive been looking for a new favorite. I have to say, having given this shop their first chance? WOW doesnt even begin to cover it. The owner more than exceeded my expectations, and went far and beyond for me. I am a staunch believer in supporting local small business in your community, and love the effort people put in to their work as an expression of their professionalism, and their drive to satisfy their customers. To me this is something that is lacking in our day to day, and larger business, but when someone does the best...the VERY VERY BEST for you to earn your confidence it speaks volumes. I will be returning repeatedly for more, and cant wait to continue to surprise wife and family with these arrangements. If you dont believe me, at me. The flowers are fresh and beautiful nothing like you would get anywhere else . Then my arrangement came with a gift bag. Not like any gift bag. It had small thoughtful items I can enjoy for myself like face mask, candles, bath salts and bath bombs and thats just to name a few because it also came with savory sweet snacks. I dont think Ive seen any of these item gifts at target either, so I had to do my research and it appears that the gift items came from a company in Hawaii that serves a bigger purpose in saving the animal wild life on Hawaiian Islands . The thought and detail to not only the arrangement but the gift is really sweet. Opening up the gift bag just to be surprised by all these smaller gifts 🎁 was my favorite part . I highly recommend this place .

For one of the arrangements that I purchased I had seen it on their website with pink flowers, but I asked Rennie if she could change it to blue, and she assured me that it could be done and she will make it look beautiful. They wanted to deliver it 2 days after the fact with an arrangement that was not presentable. I never thought to order flowers in the neighborhood. When I called Bixby Knolls florist, a woman named Anna took my order. She was absolutely wonderful after I explained my situation. This woman and I feel so bad because I forgot her name suggested a new trend of a planter box and I trusted her to make it without seeing it in person. She went as far as after she made it to text me pictures and it was beautiful. She also gave me a text message when my arrangement was delivered to my friend. Then my friend posted a picture on Facebook and let me tell you it was beautiful! Being from another state I had no idea I was not ordering from Bixby Florist directly when I placed my order online. What was ordered was delivered but was not my full order. I called number that was on back of card and spoke with Grace. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful she was in explaining to me that I ordered from a teleflorist and they are who messed the order up and she was so apologetic even though it was not communicated to her correctly.
