Birds & Animals Unlimited doesnt deserve the negative reputation because of what an animal rights extremist group says. Birds & Animals has actually saved a lot more animals than PETA has, and many of their animals, especially at their main facility in Acton, are either rescues or animals who were relinquished to the facility by zoos, pet owners, etc. I have a lot of respect for Birds & Animals Unlimited, not only for their great work in showing real animals in hundreds of movies, TV shows, and commercials, but also showing respect and love for their animals. The expose of Birds & Animals Unlimiteds facility and the A Dogs Purpose video have defamed and ruin this great companys reputation. Dont let what animal extremist groups tell you Birds & Animals, you keep doing what you do best and help future generations experience real animals in film, television, and commercials. I would love to visit the Acton, California facility and see all the animals there. I absolutely love animals and I hope Birds & Animals Unlimited keeps people intrigued and in awe of the many years of animals in our favorite movies.

Stop it. How many of you have tried to give a dog a bath and they get skittish and you yank them? There was no yanking or pulling on this dog. I have personally worked with this company and they are compassionate and loving. ALL of their dogs are rescue animals and treated with dignity and a better quality of life than most animals in homes. They rescue dogs that would otherwise be put down. They give them life, love, attention and all of their needs are met. They are responsible for some of the most beloved animal characters you know. Einstein from Back to the Future and the owls in Harry Potter. Youre going to boycott those movies too? No one here was on the set that day. But that video does NOT tell the full story. And, as I said, having worked with this company, there are no better animal health advocates than them.

All of the staff and trainers are very friendly and are a lot about animals.A family friend had become aware of a dog owner that was severely neglecting a dog. The dog had never been socialized and was in a very poor health condition and people at Birds and Animals offered to find appropriate housing and care for the dog.This dog was in no condition to be an asset to the company but the compassionate staff still spent valuable time and effort to find accommodations for it. I was very pleased with the service of the company and especially impressed because I am not a person with a big budget movie. I’m just trying to look out for a pup and so were they.

I recently have gotten the chance to work with the amazing trainers over at Birds and Animals Unlimited and I have nothing but incredible things to say about them. From the time they walked on set their love for their job could easily be seen and that they took pride in their profession. The trainers were extremely friendly and professional. You can tell from their work on set that these trainers have a lot of expertise and are very knowledgeable about the industry. Prior to shooting I was invited to their training facility so I was able to see the one on one relationships these animals had with their trainers. These trainers really do love their job and the animals are a reflection of that. These animals are extremely well taken care of and it reflects in the animals work on set. They should show up on set bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to their best! I highly recommend Birds and Animals Unlimited, not only for the amazing work that they do but you know that they truly care for their animals. Would work with them again and again!

Literally the kindest group of people I’ve ever met. They put ALL animals ahead of everything else. The Ranch Manager makes sure every animal’s needs are EXCEEDED and shows genuine love and care to each individual animal. People are quick to judge and project hate, but they have NO IDEA how much care is put into taking care of these animals. My dog is my daughter and I trust them with her life. Amazing group of people.

I recently found out that one of my new neighbors works for this company and was thrilled to hear that she has worked on a number of our favorite films! How cool! After getting to know her and talking about what a neat job she has I found out that almost all of the animals she gets to work with which include cats, dogs, birds and pigs just to name a few all come from rescues which I find highly admirable. Not only do these animals, and trainers have a cool job it is nice to know that when they are not on set they are well taken care of as well. These animals live normal lives just like our animals at home! My family has gone over numerous times to play with these animal movie stars and have gotten to see them in a normal setting swimming in pools, running around the yard and taking long leisurely naps in big comfy beds. I’ve noticed from recent reviews people saying these animals were not taken care of and just wanted to clarify that this is not the case what so ever. These animals are loved and get top year around care. We know how much our neighbor loves her job and now our little girl not only wants to grow up to be an animal trainer, she has been asking us to rescue a dog as well!

If could give negative stars I would. This place is dark and has no business having animals if these animals could speak what would they say. They kill birds pull heads off neglect and starve also give no medical care when NEEDED. Animals suffer. Period point ANIMALS DONOT BELONG IN FILMS COMMERCIALS TV ETC CIRCUS ENTERTAINMENT THEY BELONG FREE TO LIVE NOT IN ENSLAVED CAGES DOGS BELONG ON THE COUCH WITH HUMAN NOT LOCKED IN CAGE ALONG

The review about the dog being forced to jump into water was edited by peta to make it seem like that’s what they were doing. Look up the REAL video of that they weren’t abusing that dog at all or forcing it in the water. I LOVE all the animals you’ve trained Larry! Also, for those saying they abuse the animals that’s not true. Each animal has to pass a weight requirement and health inspection and they sure do pass which is why this company is not shut down nor will it be! Awesome job with the animals !

I have seen the establishments facilities and am very pleased with the care and attention the animals receive by the trainers and staff. The many movies (first Harry Potter movie) I have seen them participate in are well done and a lot of love and care are taken when training and working these animals.

I have never met a more caring team. They’re all very compassionate about the well being of their animals. They’re all so sweet and helpful.The animals are healthy, and I can see the joy in their faces. 100% love this place.
