I found Bimmer and Benz Specialists while calling around looking for someone who could quickly repair a busted module in a Mini Cooper I had already listed for sale. I had left it at a local dealership, and they had just quoted me for repairs at almost as much as the value of the car. I was in a tough spot, as I dont live in the area, but the car did. While speaking to the proprietor, Rocky, about my situation, he made a compelling offer: he would pick up the car from the dealership I had left it at, and Bimmer and Benz Specialists would perform an inspection and make an offer to buy the car from me themselves.There were a lot of unknowns about this situation, but I agreed to it as Rocky was a genial guy and this was a very convenient solution. Throughout the process, Rocky was communicative, accommodating, and honest to a degree that I am frankly not familiar with in this field. All-told, he made a fair offer, which I accepted, and he held to his word until our deal was completely closed. It was a fantastic experience that relieved me of a lot of stress, given the circumstances. Rocky and his team come highly recommended.

My BMW was overheating and Rocky was able to give me a full run down of everything related to the issue through email with pictures and an itemized expense report, including things I didnt know were in need of tune ups/fixing. He gave me an all in quote but since I was looking to get a new car anyway he was able to fix exactly what the issue was in order to trade in the car at a dealership. I wish I found them sooner, would have been much better long term maintenance than what I was getting elsewhere. Work was done quickly, affordably and communication was prompt. 10/10

Third time here. Glass smooth experience with Rocky. Ive been abusing my car in the past 8 month but Rocky and his team did a great job restoring the car. I would say this shop is a time machine. The whole front bumper is restored and the control arms are refreshed. They really brought back what the car was supposed to be like. Will still be my go to place for many years.

Rocky has been taking car of my car for several years. He really knows his stuff! He has chased problems, prioritized repairs, and kept my ride running smoothly. I’m in field sales, so no car means no work. I moved out of the area about a year ago. Rocky still helps me out! He even diagnosed a recent problem when a local mechanic near my new home was trying to rip me off with a needless diagnostic test. Rocky has a huge heart and a lot of passion for what he does. I sent out a request for a pre-sale inspection and heard back relatively quickly via an automated system which allowed me to verify the date and availability of the shop. A thorough inspection was done and provided (via email link) through a very clean and easy to navigate online page where I could access the vehicle scan, photos taken, and estimation invoice. I was better informed of the conditions of the vehicle and was able to act on next steps. Rocky was very personable and informative and gave me a lovely introduction to himself, the location, what they do, warranty policy, and the quality they strive for. He was accommodating in a request I made that took a little time out of his day outside the realm of what the inspection was, and was informative in the response he received from a third party. If this vehicle works out, I look forward to returning to this location for services as needed.////One Year+ Update: Reviews does not allow more than one review on the same business, but what I have to say is all phenomenal regarding my experience in the 1.5 years I have been going to Bimmer and Benz. They always go above and beyond. Rocky was away on holidays, the shop was closed, and I had a flat and he still made the effort to reach out to another shop (reaching out from Europe!) and handled my flat tire that same day! What?! Amazing. You cant beat that kind of customer service and quality of persons working here. 1000% trust them to take care of my vehicle needs. Glad to find a Bosch service center in Costa Mesa/Newport for my BMW and Mercedes when I moved out here. Bosch = training, parts, warranty. I was very pleased with the service Rocky and his team provided. Prompt, thorough, took time to explain and show me what needed attention and what could wait, reasonable rate. When my schedule changed that day, Rocky was able to provide me a loaner (at the last moment!) so I could go about my job - that’s service! He then followed up the next week to make sure I didn’t have any problems or questions.If you’re going to drive German cars (and why would you drive anything else!), you need to find a great mechanic. Rocky was kind enough to drive a few blocks to pick up my car from me and had the repairs done within 24 hours. I am pretty clueless when it comes to cars and rocky was incredibly patient and thorough when explaining what i needed done. Been with Rocky now for a couple of years now. Fair and transparent pricing. I knew what I was paying before work was started, and am kept in the loop as the work is done. Exceptional work, very informative and detail oriented in helping me understand what work and why, I was never not in the know. Recently had my X5 in for oil, brakes, topped off some fluids, software update and discussed future service needs. Everyone is required to wear a mask, social distancing was practiced and a complete interior sanitization of my vehicle was done before it was returned to me. Shop is very clean and organized, big windows that allow you to see into the shop. Rocky is very outgoing and fun loving. Makes you feel at ease the minute you meet him, treats you with respect and professional courtesy that is so hard to find these days. He values your time as well and will go above and beyond to ensure that your time is not wasted. He does this by offering a free loaner car and/or will even pick you up or drop you off if needed. His shop is close to the 55 freeway and in a nice part of the neighborhood, walking distance to a couple of good places to eat and get coffee if one wished. Bottom line is if you want quality service with a smile and the confidence to know its been done right the first time without breaking the bank, then Rocky and his team at Bimmer and Benz is the place to go.

I’ve taken my car here a few times now, Rocky & his team go above and beyond and always do quality work.As an example, each time I had to leave my car with him at the shop, he has offered to personally drive me back to my house which I have never experienced at any shop before, regardless of how close I lived. Most recently, he repaired the camshaft sensor in my 04 325i in order for me to get a smog test. He helped get me setup with an OBD app and showed me how to use it in order to monitor emissions related tests, which allowed me to get my car smogged the same day he was done working on it.Definitely recommend!

As I am used to having my car serviced by the dealer, I decided to give these guys a try as they were closer to my home. That was three years ago, my experience each and every time has been top notch. They are transparent, honest and truly interested in earning and keeping your business. The best thing unlike the dealer is that you have the same person Rocky who handles all of your issues. My 02 SLK engine light went on after a rough morning start. Having checked Bimmer and Benz on line, over a month before I moved in the area. I drove there the next morning and I was greeted by Rocky Khamenian. They did a complete inspection and e-mailed me a detailed list with the results including photos, etc. They solved the problem by replacing the sparkplugs and ignition coil. There are other issues to be taken care of and I feel that this shop is a great option for someone who doesnt want to use a dealership service. Rocky is very personable and even followed with a phone call a few days later.

We recently moved to Costa Mesa and I needed service on our Mercedes GLA250. We usually use only Mercedes service but we drove by Bimmer and Benz and looked up the ratings and based on that we tried it. I have to say I was very happy with the service. In fact the car seems to run better now then it ever has plus they cleaned it up really well and I was able to get a loaner while the car was being serviced. Have known Rocky for many years. He has worked on 2 other Mercedes we have owned in the past. A local mechanic was unable to repair the AC, which is when I thought of Rocky. Rocky is great, knows his stuff. BMW n54 oil filter and oil cooler housing gaskets were leaking, they replaced them quickly and even cleaned my interior. I brought up walnut blasting my intake and he reached out to me that since the intake needs to come off to replace the gaskets, he could add that on and cut down on the labor costs. He also gave me advice on other work that I was going to do myself, very knowledgeable and would definitely recommend to any bmw owners.

Synthetic oil is ordered from Europe to ensure its contents, technicians are smart and well-trained, and pricing is incredibly reasonable.You might shop around and find that you can get an equivalent job done for cheaper somewhere else, but when it comes to cars, you get what you pay for. At Bimmer and Benz, youre paying for unequaled care and attention, plus smiles and pleasantries when you walk into the place.As I mentioned, Rocky is really the linchpin that holds the operation together. Rocky and his shop have worked on my 2006 Z4M twice and both times have detected and repaired problems that are natural for a 14 year old car. Each time a problem is spotted, he sends an inspection report with photos identifying the issue along with a detailed repair quote. The work is not done until it is authorized. Was making sales calls in Newport Beach last week for a couple of days, on my last day there before I return to the Bay Area, my Mercedes engine completely turned off. I was in heavy Morning traffic at a stop light when my car went dead. Was able to star it again and pulled into a mall parking lot when it died again. I called a few local Mercedez repair garages, everyone was booked and nobody could see me until the next day. On my fifth call to Bimmer and Benz, Rocky the owner said he would be able to look at it if I had it towed to his place. Triple A towed it to him he said go have lunch and I’ll call you in a couple of hours. When he called me back he said he found the problem could fix it and get me on my way. He was able to find the sensor that I needed and replaced it. When I arrived at his place I was a nervous wreck, he was calm, cool and professional. I settled down after talking him and he said everything would be find. I wished he had a shop in Silicon Valley where I live, I would use and recommend him to all my friends. Very pleased with my visit here. Went in for a pre-sale inspection of my car, and they were very thorough. They emailed me the results with pictures of everything, and I was able to select what services I wanted done through the cool program they use. The staff were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were even able to diagnose and fix an A/C fan annoyance that stumped the BMW dealership, saving me a considerable amount of money.

All I requested was a battery was a new battery and an oil change. I agreed to that on line and their charges then Rocky called me and said if I did not agree with all they other thousands of dollars in work they recommended there would be an additional $300 inspection fee. When I told Rocky all I wanted was the new battery and oil change he got nasty and told me to take my car out of there if that is all I wanted. This place is a nightmare.

Rocky had diagnosed a failing blower motor regulator as the cause of fluctuations in AC air volume. Before having this repair performed, I was at Crevier Mini having the sunroof checked & serviced. Crevier checked the car and said that the Alternator was weak and was causing the problem!!!! Of course they offered to replace it for about $900! . Subsequently Rocky replaced the regulator, which fixed the problem and for MUCH less than $900.So my feedback... Bimmer & Benz = 5 stars....Crevier Mini Service = 2 stars. and not worth the free car wash! Bottom line: Why would you go anywhere other than Bimmer & Benz?!

I wish I could give no stars. They ruined my 2011 335i by using gasket maker instead of OEM seals on my oil cooler gasket. This caused oil to seep into my cooling system and destroy it. When the car was taken back to them after oil was found in the coolant AGAIN they just drained the coolant and refilled it! Instead of fixing their $10 job that they charged $4200 for in total! After calling to let them know that they ruined my car, he still wanted me to bring the car back for him to “warranty” it, would that consist of adding more gasket maker and refilling the coolant??? Don’t ever bring your car to these scam artists, save yourself the penny and peace of mind! The service writer was Jerry Arauz and I spoke to “Rocky” on the phone.
