The absolute best care and service for me and my truck !!! Honest, fair price for top quality service. Down to earth, easy going, and informative. Didnt leave a question to ask . I was highly impressed with the quality service and the willingness of the establishment to go the extra mile for the customer. Because I have just one vehicle at the present, I needed a ride back to my house while they inspected the car. The owner himself, Bill Garcia brought me home and picked me up when the car ( Mazda SUV) was finished. The estimate on the service was fair, and the digital printout of the recommended repairs or adjustments was also fair and reasonable. Bills Quality auto Care has been the best investment I have made in my vehicles for the past 12 years!!!!!!!!

I came to Bill’s because of their superb reviews on Yelp and I was NOT disappointed! Alex was 100% up front and honest with me about all of the issues with my car, and fixed everything perfectly within my budget. I have never had such excellent customer service and care from an auto shop in my 46 years. I will recommend Bill’s to anyone and everyone who needs amazing work done on their vehicle. I brought them a mess and they gave me my Cadillac back. A previous vendor had my car and worked on it for over two and a half weeks and after $3,500 plus worth of repairs it still ran the same (continuously misfiring). Alex and his team were able to quickly diagnose the issue, gave me an honest and clear description of the problem, and a reasonable estimate of the cost. I approved the work and my car runs like it always did which is smooth and quiet. They discovered a number of mistakes the previous vendor had made that was causing the ongoing issue. They gave me documentation to support their findings so I could follow up with the other vendor. They also fixed a number of minor things with my car for no charge, charged my battery which was low from sitting for so long, and cleaned up the grease prints left all over my car from the last vendor. They always kept in touch with me. I never felt like anything was less than above board. Plus the final invoice came in almost $300 less than the estimate. I am extremely happy with the final result. My father used to always say Penny Wise Pound Foolish. There couldnt be a better example. If your car means something to you, take it where you know its going to get expert care.

Extremely professional and very friendly. I felt like I was listened to and respected. They asked good questions and kept me up to date on the repairs needed and their progress toward completing them. Estimates of cost and time were clear and accurate, no surprises. We have taken our cars and motorhome to Bills Quality Auto Care for a few years, They have always been so fair and helpful when explaining what our vehicles need. The most recent is when we took in our Jeep and they recommended a BG Fuel System Service. We were so amazed that we gained almost 2 1/2 - 3 miles per gallon. In this day and age and the out of control gas prices, that is truly something to be thankful for. We recommend Bills to everyone we do business with that need mechanical expertise, as we are a Mobile RV Inspection and Repair service. Bill, Adam and Alex, and all the staff are the best. As a female taking my vehicle to get repaired can be an incredibly stressful situation. Beyond oil changes and general maintenance I am relatively clueless to the terminology and verbiage used when assessing a vehicle.My Tacoma was not in good shape after a couple months of vigorous vibration and shaking I finally decided it was time to get it looked at. Adam walked me though the diagnostic procedure and told me that by the end of the day they would send me a link with photos and descriptions of what needed repair. They then offered a courtesy shuttle to get me home and within a couple of hours the link was in my text messages.The link they sent me covered items from dirty cabin filter, a cracked drive belt to my main issue, a damaged drive shaft and u-joint. Within minutes of receiving the link Adam was calling me to discuss what I was looking at in the images. He was incredibly patient, honest and provided much needed help. We discussed the repairs that needed to be done he provided cost and timeline. I dropped my vehicle off late afternoon Tuesday and by Thursday at 12 I had it back driving a smoothly as the day I bought it back in 2005.The quality at Bills is beyond expectation however their customer service is truly what every repair shop should aim to provide. They have found a forever costumer in me and I will continue to send my friends and family there for all their vehicle needs. Trust is such a huge component when dealing with auto repair and Bills goes above and beyond to let Thor customer know the service they are providing is honest and true.Lastly I have ALWAYS purchased my tires at Costco. As affordability and availability seemed unmatched. I was long overdue for a set of tires but procrastinating as the expense is typically pretty great. Bills notified me of the status of my tires and offered to replace them with the same tires I was currently using for…less that what I pay at Costco. This of course was great news in itself. However, Adam informed me that the BF Goodrich off-roading tires I had been using for the past 10 plus years wear down quickly with regular street driving (which is only what the vehicle is used for). He suggested a longer lasting tire that was also approx $300 less in total. I am always very hesitant to trust the recommendations from auto shops as it’s very easy to get oversold, or taken advantage of. Bills alleviates any of that concern and does an incredible job repairing the vehicle as well.

I usually do not do reviews, i feel the need to let people know Bill’s Quality Auto Care is my new go to Auto Care for my car service. I had a battery issue. When i walked in the door the staff welcomed you and made you feel like you are the most important person in the room, i actually got to finish my sentence. When trying to explain what was happening to the tech i never felt rushed. I would take my car to the dealer and always felt like a number a different person to talk to every time. Bill’s Quality fixed my problem without trying to add on services that i did not need. A true gem in Simi Valley. I highly recommend you will not be disappointed. No more dealer for routine service it will always be Bill’s Quality.

Bill’s fixed a problem that they found to have a service bulletin for that common problem. They repaired and replaced one part and charged me very fairly compared to the dealer service which wanted to replace everything for a total of 6 times more money.Very happy with the auto service and customer service. Will now use Bill’s for all my auto servicing.

Id give less stars if i could, Alex gives some of the worst advisement Ive ever received. bills seems to charge a lot more than other shops, so if youre older and dont care about spending all your savings. Alex lied to me telling me that he told me I needed new control arm bushings months ago, and that was %100 a lie because I would have bought the part and I wouldnt have had to leave my car at your shop for so long? Bills cant get in special parts. Alex wanted me to basically pay 2,200 to have bushings replaced on each control arm... A set of control arms is $200 lmao these guys used to be open on Saturday and now they make so much money they take Saturday off. just cuz they seem nice doesnt mean they wont twist the blade once its through your back. ive been coming here almost a decade. the longer you come here the more they will charge you, heck if they find out youre a Dr. they will charge you more. they told me to keep driving my car when it had damaged bushings. (At the time I didnt know this) Alex told me it was safe. and he wanted my steering and suspension to suffer, so i would be back about 8 years early for a new steering rack and pinion, (bills replaced my steering rack and pinion only 2 years ago, last 1 lasted 10yrs bills double charges you to look at what they couldnt figure out the last time... plus if the labor is SO high to do bushings should have just recommended new control arms. idk this guy Alex needs to step it up and Bill needs to stop buying Teslas. Better prices for labor they will take advantage of who they can

This is the second time that Ive had to go to Bills and both times have been great experiences. I had to have my truck towed in and could not accompany my vehicle. I called ahead and they were very easy to work with. They inspected my truck and found that the alternator went bad. They talked me through my options and even suggested cheaper options so I wasnt spending a lot of money. Their customer service is top notch as they take their time to talk and explain everything. I would definitely go back, even for simple maintenance.

In todays world it seems like good customer service is hard to find. Bills Quality Auto Care far exceeded my expectations. Their office/lobby was clean and neat, and the receptionist was very attentive and took my information promptly. I needed major maintenance/repairs to my Ford F-150 and Alex explained all work that needed to be done with a detailed estimate. The mechanic, Kyle, was very thorough and completed the repairs as though he was working on his own vehicle. The job was completed as promised and cost less than the estimate. I will be back for all future repairs.

Since the first time I went there, i feel they have really treated me and my vehicle with the right care and respect needed. my first vehicle was a Ford Expedition, i went in there with engine problems. The guys there hooked up to it and showed me and told me what the issue was and there was a few. I didnt have the money at the time. So we sat down and discussed what we could do to keep my vehicle running and I was very satisfied. Now I bring in my 2012 Scion XB, ask them about having some things done and they recommended I wait in tell the time was right. Which in my opinion was the right thing to do. So i waited tell it was time to do the service needed and had it done. they checked a couple things I didnt realize they were going to. showed me exactly what the results were and gave me there recommendation. after all was said and done, I couldnt be any happier. What they said would happen has. Any question you ask they will answer it. After everything was done, I feel it was worth every penny spent. I recommend if you are having a issue with your vehicle go to Bills Quality Auto Care. I promise you wont regret it at all.Everyone there is aimed to please!

I went to Bill’s for a general checkup before traveling 25 hours across the country and they helped get my car into tip top shape (as it was FAR from that after not using it for months due to COVID). I found Bills on Yelp and they had the best local rating for both auto service as well as brake service. I was able to call and get my car in on a Saturday, they dropped us off at the house and picked us up when the car was done. The price was exactly what they estimated and they only did the required work. Even though my rear brakes were in need of replacement, they were very honest in telling me that my front brakes were in perfect condition and didnt need work. Fair prices, good service and quality. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I recently brought my Chevy Silverado in for basic maintenance, and was thrilled at how friendly, efficient, and skilled the folks at Bills were at addressing my needs. I was in Simi Valley on August 21st and was supposed to be driving home to Washington state. The night prior, I discovered my power steering had gone out. I tried several shops the next morning, including a local dealership. Everyone was booked and it would be days to weeks before they could look at my car.I called Bills and spoke with Alex. He listened to my situation and offered to help. I was so grateful. Less than an hour later, they had my car in a bay and were able to show me where rodents had chewed through some of my wiring. Before I knew it, they had my car fixed and I was able to get on the road.I listened to Alex conduct business while I was waiting. He was professional, courteous, and genuinely concerned for each customers experience.Bottom line, they really helped me when it didnt seem like anyone else could. The service visit itself was fine. I appreciate that they offer a ride back after you drop off your car, but the shuttle driver was incredibly rude. He and another passenger got into a political discussion with me stuck in the backseat forced to listen. After a good 15 minutes of forced listening of their opinions they seemed to realize another person existed in the world and apologized. And then proceeded to continue their political discussion, including some pretty offensive comments. After the other passenger was dropped off the driver tried to make small talk with me. Um, no way dude. Will seriously reconsider future business here. Definitely dont want to get into a car with this driver again. It would seem to be common sense to avoid sensitive topics like this but apparently not here. Too bad since otherwise it would be 4 stars.ETA: I updated the review to 4 stars. Bills called me shortly after seeing this review to apologize, and to advise they had spoken to the driver in question and assured me this would not happen again. I came to Bills Quality for a pre-purchase inspection on a pickup truck I was thinking of buying from a private seller. Right from the very beginning I felt I was in good hands. Erica, the receptionist, was so kind and courteous when I asked about their services and setting up an appointment. The actual pre-purchase inspection was very thorough and professional. They gave me a detailed report with photos of the inspected truck and all its checked parts. I love going here to have work done on our cars. They are clean professional and take the time to really explain what is being done and why. I also feel that they truly have your best interests in mind instead of their bottom line.My recent experience with them was to have some work done on our Highlander Hybrid. Bob who took care of us both efficiently and with a great attitude made it a priority to keep us in the loop and informed every step of the way. Ive been here twice for smog checks. The person on the phone was professional, pleasant, and got me in right away. I was there only about 15 minutes and they were finished! What impressed me the most, though, was listening to the clientele they have. Both men who were either dropping off or picking up a car at this auto shop were VERY knowledgeable about cars, and they were bringing their car here to be fixed! Ive known these guys for years. I actually used to work for a software company that dealt primarily with Auto Repair shops all over North America. Ive met some of the best shop owners in the US and what they have in common is they have integrity and are passionate about what they do. This industry can get a bad rep for sure but 90%+ of these guys are honest hardworking people like you and me. Some people think that when a shop makes a recommendation theyre simply trying to get more money from you. That couldnt be further from the truth. They inspect your car and tell you what needs to be fixed and what will need to be fixed in the near future. They will tell you what could happen if you choose to not fix it now. Its not a scare tactic its just the truth. None of us like shelling out money to maintain our vehicles but its necessary unless we want to spend more later when something bad happens. I recently had them fix a suspension problem my 2012 Audi Q5 was having. It came out of nowhere and I was not happy I had to pay to get it fixed. They also recommended I get my rear brakes done soon. I told them lets wait on the brakes until next month because I didnt have the money to do it all now. Yesterday I came back and had them do the brakes. They did it for a great price and they got it done fast. They also have a free shuttle that took me to work in Thousand Oaks both times. Very convenient. The shop is very clean and the folks at the front are very nice people. Joe and Bill are awesome! If you want someone to do the job right, for a good price & be honest with you about your vehicle then this is the place to go.

I recently took my Land Rover here for a milestone service, preventative maintenance and oil change. The Land Rover dealership quoted me 2,000 for this service (not including any parts, if needed) and an overnight stay; Bills completed the service and replaced the water pump for under $700 + AAA discount. They took me to look at my vehicle to go over the work and that made me feel pretty good. In addition, they guaranteed the work for 2 years. Its difficult to find a good, honest place to work on your car, but I feel pretty confident that I found one. I would recommend Bills to people who have European vehicles.

Very expensive. I took my wifes 2020 Camry there because rats chewed some wires. I didnt want to get ripped off by the dealer so I tried something new. They charged more than the dealer! $170.00 an HR for labor is crazy! After I got the car back I was gonna spray the engine with peppermint oil to deter the rats, and noticed that one of the emissions line was disconnected and smashed in the airbox lid, so the air filter lid wasnt even seated properly. Nothing major, but the guy that helped me( Alex) was trying to explain the outrageous labor charges and said they have the best mechanics in the business. Yeah I dont think so! I usually go to Shortees. Should have gone to Shortees! I would not recommend this place unless you want to Pay prices higher than the dealer!

I went to Bills to fix a problem with the charging system on my Jeep after it broke down 400 miles away from home (I live in SF).Customer service (Alex) was excellent, diagnosis was done promptly and accurately. An electrical problem had fried part of the wiring harness and the engine computer (PCM) so the repair was extensive and complex. Bills went out of their way to get the parts ordered and everything sorted out very quickly (obviously I was stranded in LA until the Jeep could be fixed) and they worked very hard to get me mobile again as as soon as possible.There were some unexpected problems which were explained to me and addressed and the cost I was quoted initially was the cost I paid. I spent a long time looking for a good local shop (phone and internet) before choosing Bills and I was not disappointed. I generally fix my own vehicles but this was not possible in this instance. I would recommend Bills. If you need a rental (as I did) there is a nearby Enterprise who will pick you up and drop you off as well as providing a car at a reasonable price.I drove the Jeep back to SF immediately after picking it up from Bills (I was apprehensive about starting a journey that long after a major repair but had no choice). It ran smoothly and well all the way home and continues to run better than when I took it in.Steve

One of the recommended items was windshield wiper replacement, which I was billed, and payed for. Discovered halfway back to Texas that the wipers had not been replaced. Took my Expedition to check a leak, got an estimate from Alex over phone for $2900 along with very high pressure sales job. My advice for anyone new to this area: DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE.My girlfriend and I just moved to Simi area and were looking for a place to get the oil in her car changed (a relatively simple, pain free procedure). After dropping off the car right after they opened, they told us to come back in 2 hours (a little long for an oil change). Anyway, when we returned they told us we had a temp plug in a oil pan which had to be replaced IMMEDIATELY, or else we risk our engine completely dying. So we believed the service manager at Bills and asked for a quote for a new plug/oil pan (if the pan needed to be replaced). Sure enough, he calls back the following Monday saying the pan is now cracked and they need $1300 to replace it. This seemed like a COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS PRICE to replace an oil pan that may not even need replacing. So we took the car to another shop in Simi for another opinion only to find out that the plug and the pan are completely fine. The other mechanic said that if the oil leaks at all, we can just replace the cap for cheap and be fine.Moral of the story, these people At Bills Quality Auto Care are CROOKS all the way who will lie to you saying you need extremely expensive service, thus STEALING YOUR MONEY.

I took my car there and I told him the problem in my car and the history off it. The charged me for diagnostic 109.98 and they told the same what I told them so basically I paid them to say it back to me. And the coat I got its more than the Honda dealer and they dont gaurantee solving the problem. So its fantasy shop with shuttle if you have money and you enjoy riding the shuttle go there but the job never will be done

I have an old 2011 Toyota RAV-4 and have taken it to a few mechanics over the past year who couldnt identify the cause of a rickety sound and sensation when steering my wheel. Went in for an oil change and tire change. The lady asked one if the guys for coupon. His response was mercedes has no coupon. RED FLAG. Ive been here twice and wasnt happy the first time. The guys are always saying well its a mercedes and you should protect your investment. RED FLAG. I know what kind of car I drive. I dont need the reminder. They try to justify over excessive maintenance with well its a mercedes. RED FLAG. They wanted to add on transmission flush, and rear differential to an oil change. Just had the transmission flushed. RED FLAG. Add on after add on with these guys. I dont need a .50 candy bar to justify over excessive maintenance.

They made me spend money to tow my car there twice, to fix it, only to tell me that it was going to cost $5000 to fix my truck. I had to tow it again to my other mechanic who fixed the problem and charged me $1500. So I basically wasted 2 days and $250 for a bunk diagnosis by these guys that was never fixed.
