Fantastic service! I was on my way back to Los Angeles when I stopped in Paso Robles for a late lunch with my daughter and friends. On the way to get gas I discovered my tire pressure was low. My friend noticed the bolt in my tire. She looked up repair locations and found Big Brand Tire. I made it just in time prior to closing and the fix took about 20 minutes. To my surprise I wasnt charged and Dennis explained its their policy to fix flats for FREE. Honestly, after the weekend I had this literally made my trip home so much better and it wasnt an April Fools joke either. Thank you Dennis for your professionalism and thank you Big Brand Tire for the amazing fix. I will be shopping at Big Brand Tire now for all my tire needs.

We were visiting Paso Robles from the Bay Area and unfortunately got a nail puncture. The good people at Big Brand welcomed us to drop in and within short time they had it fixed, wheel balanced etc. On pickup we found that there would be no charge for this work. What great service and help we received from this company. I cannot recommend them enough for their friendliness and great service. Thank you guys.

We were on our way to the Central Valley with three hours ahead of us when the coolant red light started flashing. After triaging our car, we made our way to Big Brand Tire & Service. We were lucky they were open on Sunday with a mechanic on site. They ran a diagnostic test and gave us the results including two required recommendations for our vehicle to work properly, and a suggestion that only an experienced mechanic would know. Our car stayed in the shop until the next day. They kept us informed every step of the way including when there was a delay in the delivery of parts. We appreciate the exceptional customer service.

Big Brand Tire in Paso is awesome! I called in the afternoon and made an appointment for the next day to have my tires replaced. They were able to accommodate a time change to an earlier time on the day of my appointment. They have tables with chairs to work at or eat. They also have computer desks with or without computers and they also have chairs for reading a book or magazine.. Very accommodating. I was able to get a lot of work done on my Laptop. The time required to complete the tire change was spot on. I’ve used this location for all my tire needs for many years and have always had a positive outcome.

I had 2 tires installed a few weeks ago and then came back to have another 2 put on the car. They were friendly want helpful. I requested a brake inspection and they said I had 60 and 70 percent so i was still good. They let me know that my tow hitch was bent or something, which makes sense after Id been towing a trailer in my crv for a few weeks. They took care of it for $100. In all I spend around 350. Totally trainable and fair in my eyes.

They suck. And if you look down at all the low reviews you will see the complaints are very similar. And as much as they say we want to improve and sorry. Look back 3 to 5 years in there ratings. Nothing has changed. So obviously its all just talk. No improvement has been made. And no Im not contacting Henry. I think he is busy enough with all the other complaints. You guys need to step it up or close it up!

Complimentary flat tire repair done same day with an appointment. Saved us a lot of time as we drive north back to WA State. Highly recommend! Ended up only adding an additional hour to our drive due to their efficiency.We woke up to a flat tire at our hotel and I was easily able to make a same day appointment online. So thankful!!!

Thanks for a basic tire store where you go in they order your tires and The only thing expected of you is to pay you don’t have to do their ordering. You don’t have to have the tires shipped to your home and then bring the tires to the store. You don’t have to do any of that great place.

I came here to get my tires rotated and one of the guys came out and told me that my brakes were at 1mm and it would cost me over $400 to get them replaced. This instantly threw a red flag to me because I had just replaced my brakes about a year prior. I politely declined and had my husband check them when I got home and they were still half full.This was very stereotypical for them to see a girl come in for one thing and try to scam her into thinking she needed something else.Otherwise the staff was nice and they were quick and didn’t argue with me when I said no thank you to the brakes.Have them show proof before you accept a service that might not be needed!!!

So they would have gotten five stars had it not taken 4 hours to do 4 tires and an alignment. There was a miscommunication about the alignment and me having camber plates on the front but that kind of thing happens. What matters the most is they took care of it, where completely professional about it and did good work. Mistakes happen how they fix them is what matters the most. And the technician did verry good and made sure it was right the second time. Just wish it hadnt taken so long.Update 20240628Sadly today they just earned there rating dropping to 1 star. Took 1.5 hours to mount one tire on my spare wheel and swapping that onto the car. I asked them to put the wheel they took off in the back seat so I could use it as the spare and to inflate new tire to 35psi Realized when i was checking out I forgot to tell them what to do about the tpms. If they had followed my instructions they should have asked me what to do buuut they didnt. They took the tpms off the wheel on the car left it flat with no valve stem and tossed it in the backseat with no bag or anything. And only inflated the new tire to 32psi. I think Im done with this place.

I wasn’t greeted as I stood there while they were on their pcs, someone could have said “Hi, we’ll be right with you” as as good customer service. Plan on being there for an hour and a half if you have made an appointment for an oil change. They have a TV on the wall, but didn’t have it turned on. They have a refrigerator and it used to have water in it for customers, but it was empty. They changed my oil and sent me on my way and when I got home I looked at the paperwork and they had checked off that I had fluid leaking, but nobody talked to me about that at all. A little disconcerting.

I would definitely recommend Big Brand Tire & service if you are in Paso or near Paro Robles and need assistance with your car. I’m literally shocked at the five star ratings I’ve seen on for this business. We took our car in to get two new tires and and an alignment and I was told it would take an hour and a half. When I came back I realized they hadn’t even started yet. Apparently, they didn’t have the tires!! I had set up an appointment three days prior and if they needed these tires they should’ve ordered the tires to have them when I showed up three days later .We had to wait until they had someone go over to their other store to get different tires that would fit and then another hour and a half wait. During this whole time, they never called me on my cell phone to let me know what was going on and finally they threw the spare tire in the back instead of reinstalling it. it would’ve been a nice gesture considering all of the trouble they put us through to at least put the spare tire back. We won’t be returning and fair warning to you out there to avoid this place.

Definitely never coming back for services here. They wanted to charge me $650 for all brakes and rotors when they didn’t need changed. We received Excellent and speedy care for our car’s sudden flat tire !! Though it was near closing time on Monday, 11/30/23, a helpful young technician checked air pressure on all 4 tires. I called to set an early appointment to have the bad tire (which had a nail in it !), and my Husband got it in and fixed in less than an hour Tues am, before we had to drive from Paso Robles to Fallbrook, CA !! Not my best experience. Expected more of Big Brand tires. Not much of a greeting when I got there. No questions were asked about what type of oil to be used. I had a tire that had a slow leak. This tire had a flat repair a couple years ago. They said they can’t fix a flat tire that was already repaired but would still look at it for me. Turns out it was just the valve stem was leaking. They changed out the valve stem and sealed it for free.

Really nice guys, how ever... I went there for a tire going down on the right front. The tech that pulled the tire off and checked it said he couldnt find a leak and sent us on our way. We went to breakfast, afterwards we got to the car and the tire was half flat. We found a different tire store and the tech pulled the tire, put more air in it and immediately found the leak. It was in the sidewall so I had to replace the tire. In short your tire tech needs a little more training and a spray bottle of soapy water.ThanksDoug Gandy & Cindy Rogers

I recently had Big Brand replace my entire engine for well over $5,000. My air conditioner worked one day. I took it back in to have it fixed, $1282.99! The compressor cost $375 at auto parts store, they quoted the same part cost $880.17, claiming they have a markup. I was a huge fan of Big Brand before today but I am very disappointed. Be careful of their quotes, I’ll take the heat in Paso as I can’t afford this added cost as I am still paying off the new (used) engine.

Total rip off artists! Saw my son coming from a mile away!Overcharged for a simple spark plug issue and the car still wasnt working. They marked up 25$ worth of plugs to $100! They 175 to install. I showed them loose bolts on my suspension that I could not tighten by hand. They told me multiple times it was fine after a diagnosis. Quoted $1468 for ball joints that were not related to the issue. I noticed in the middle of a road trip to Oregon. It could have caused a very serious accident if I had trusted them. They did not make any effort to actually diagnose my trucks issues that were extremely unsafe to keep driving with. I’m just happy to be alive and grateful I did not trust their effortless diagnosis.

Was having some womp-womp-womp noises after hitting some deep potholes in town. Had to replace two front tires due to tire damage. Typically the cause of this type of noise is: Stone Trapping, Foreign Object Damage,Broken or Separated Belts, A Bent Wheel, Unbalanced Tires, and wheel bearings. Paid only $23 for a detailed check of the above issues at Big Brand Tires in Paso Robles. Everything checked out Sat but found one wheel without any balancing weights. They added the weights and corrected the problem!!! I had taken it to another very affordable tire place (where I purchased the original tires and the two replacement tires) and they could not determine the cause. Great service provided by Baily who convinced his boss to let him stay late due to the rotors being the wrong ones that I supplied. I had to drive to Santa Maria to get a pair, and by the time I got back due to an accident on the way down and another bad one on the way back, Bailey and his supervisor stayed an hour and a half to accomodate my return an hour and a half after closing. Great customer service and a great management decision because I will be back again.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received. The service technician Jordan at the Paso Robles office is not only rude but also a liar. I was told my car would receive service “ in a couple hours “. I returned to the office after a few hours only to find my car still sitting. Both times the staff was friendly and the wait-time wasn’t too bad. Was overall very unhappy with experience. Started well ended bad. Was in for tires and brakes. Left in the morning and was told by afternoon should get back. Had contacted the fleet company to authorize repairs, I specifically asked the front desk person give me a call if any hesitation he replied he will. It was about closing time when I called store and asked if completed, the desk person whom helped stated he sent all the info but never got a reply. I was upset and contacted fleet. Was advised they (big brand)sent info and they approved work 30 min after receiving quoted work. Called Big Brand back and told them this was approved 30 min after it had been sent. Long story short big brand employee lied stating to me that quoted work was approved the next day when it indeed was not. Work was completed a day and a half later. Missed 2 days of work. And thats why I gave 2 stars. Other than that work performed looked to be great. Was just not happy with the desk employee.

Alignment done on my Mercedes and the alignment turned out to be as bad as when I got to the shop. The only difference was it now pulled the opposite direction and was actually a little bit worse. I called the guys back the next day and they said that they had no record of me going and left it at that. I wasnt sure if I still had my receipt thankfully I did or else they would have just brushed me off. I was lucky enough to get scheduled to come in the following day at 4:00 and when I got there they told me that the tires were bad and that they were busy and I could wait.but should come In and following day. The guy at the front desk just gave me the runaround because he didnt want to accept that they botched my alignment. Instead this guy tells me that my recently purchased tires are now bad and was very persistent that that was the problem now. Why didnt they mention this when I was there previously? Big Brand tire basically messed this up in four or five different ways and until the very end tried to maintain their position and not just simply fix the alignment. Thats not one of my favorite tactics when a sales person tries to discredit the customer (or my vehicle in this case) in order to deflect responsibility for their work. Its animalistic.

He apparently moved on so I started buying tires here again. Well I dropped off 2 tires with nails. I received $450 In invoices. Amanda greeted me and she listened to my story patiently. She offered to check my tire pressures personally. I drove around to the back where she was waiting and that made it easy to find where to pull in. She then carefully double checked each tire and adjusted the pressure down. Staff is so awesome. Dean went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of right before the holidays. Everyone really is polite, and kind. Not pushy and staff explains everything thoroughly.

Do not trust them. I left my car for 3 hours to get an oil change and alignment. When I got my car back the paint had been eaten through by carb cleaner or some other solvent they had around the shop. They did not accept responsibility and said paint wears off over time. Not in 3 hours was my issue. They were tremendously unresponsive and have yet to correct the damage they did. Do not trust them to do the right thing or look after your vehicle.

It used to be that Big Brands was the best for quality, price, and customer service, not anymore. Price on the phone wasnt price at the shop. Over $800 for brakes and alignment seemed way too much. Quoted me $600 for shocks that would take minutes to put on and even the best shocks only cost $300.

Made an appointment for 8 am. They called at 445pm to let me know it was ready. When I asked why it took all day when I had a 8am appointment I was told that that was just a drop off time and when I got my truck back after spending 2k the steering wheel was clocked the the 11 o clock position. Yes they did an alignment but neglected to center everything. Now I have to go back. How long will it take this time.

Pricy oil change but pricy oil, it seems. The service and time estimate was spot on and I appreciated the free tire rotation. Big Brand has become my local “go to” tire service center.

Excellent service. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was that I had to wait an extra hour because tires were delayed in delivery from Santa Maria.

Had an emergency brake repair on the way to work. I was able to limp my truck into the shop and they got me in immediately and had the work done before the end of the day. Great bunch of people. Would recommend!

I had a flat tire and they fixed it for free in less than an hour. Courteous staff and great customer service.
