First of, I would like to say that the Big Brand Tire shop in Porterville is hands down the best! From customer service, to the tire selection, and most importantly the job done by the technicians is superb. Before I went to Big Brand I had gone to another tire shop in town by Home Depot. I received horrible service from the manager there. I decided to go to Big Brand and it was the best decision. Mr. Art, helped get the tires and brand I was looking for. Honestly he needs a raise because if you are looking for great customer service, and someone knowledgeable then why look any further! I am extremely happy with my new Toyo tires for my truck.

I went in for a simple airing up on my tires,, and I was told my two tires where bad. Not only did they give me a great deal on new tires, but they replaced them that very day. They where so courteous and informative. I am definitely going back. I recommend Big Brand tires. 👍👍

Wouldnt recommend went for a simple oil change and had an appointment still waited for almost 2 hours to get it done. People were walking in without appointments and getting done before my vehicle. Some of the staff dont know much about filters because the gentleman was telling me I needed a new air filter and when I told him mine was I washable lifetime warranty K&N filter he said they dont make them like that umm Ive had my car 5 years and bought the filter when I first bought my car I think I would know my car by now. The only reason I went in was today online they had a 50% off oil change. I wont be going back

I went here for an oil change. It was my first time and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. They have monitors as soon as you walk in to see the appointments and the prices of different services. The staff are very friendly and have wonderful customer service. If I could give them a 0 I would! I set up an appointment for all new tires and chose the tires that were listed as “in stock” I go to my appt the guy who helped was so rude and dismissive he never apologized for not having them in stock or for the inconvenience for going all the way down there he told me I should’ve called after I made the appt to ensure the tires are available as if I’m supposed to know that! He said he would order them right in that moment and give me an appt for the following morning as of now never got a call back or confirmation. Called Pacific Tire and immediately they were so friendly and caring and replaced all 4 tires with excellent customer service! Do better big brand not everyone especially females are tire experts!

I had a blow out on my truck while pulling my trailer. My insurance carrier had Big Brands come out to change the tire. Bot only did they do it quickly they also had me come back to the shop to move the spare tire to the back since it is best to have matching tires on the front. FYI it was the front drivers side tire that blew. AND for no fee to me!! Thanks! Great service.

Why too expensive give the public a break. Big Brand was going to charge me $120 and a discount $99 for an oil change for one vehicle I wanted to do two vehicles. But I went to AutoZone got the same synthetic oil for two vehicles and two air filters for only $85.19,,,, look at the difference between $99.dollars for one vehicle $85.19 for two vehicles,,,, I like Big Brand tires when I got extra money

We had exceptional service at the Porterville location. We ran into the center divider one night and pulled into an adjoining parking lot. We left the vehicle overnight and the next morning Art went next door, put a spare on our vehicle and drove it back to their store. Went in for a plug on a flat truck tire cuz of a screw stuck in the tread. They got us in well before the hour wait time was up, offered us bottles of water and even water for our dog! Ordered tires/made appointment a week in advance. On the date of service, they claimed to not have the tires in when my wife dropped off the car. I called, they changed their minds and said they had the tires, just hadnt updated the computer. No problem, mistakes happen.They install the tires, my wife pays and picks it up. The cost is $30+ more than the estimate. Send wife back to inquire, they offer her a $50 oil change in exchange. I called again and declined, they refunded the difference in cash even thought the original payment was on a credit card....?Look, I can accept mistakes but come on, none of this was my fault. They erred twice on the same transaction and I had to note, take my time and fix their error twice. To top it off, they didnt even offer me any discount above what Id originally agreed to pay. Apparently their quality control are their customers.Ive had good luck with them prior to this however Ill pass them by next time, no need to deal with problems they create.

The employees I dealt with on 3 visits were very professional and polite abd friendly. They were able to evaluate my car within 15 minutes of my arrival and found the problem- a drywall nail! I went to another tire shop (Les Schawb) to get a free repair of my tire, which had a screw in it. They told me that they couldn’t repair it and that the tire needed to be replaced. The screw was a small one, and not on a side, but directly in the tread. I knew they were lying to me, so I took it to Big Brand; they scheduled an appointment for later in the day because they were swamped. I brought it back 30 minutes before my appointment, as I sat and waited, I saw a bay come open, and they pulled my car in. 20 minutes later they were done. The worker said it was just a small screw. This Porterville location is the only BigBrand location I go to. I live in Visalia now but will drive down anyways for their great service. Excellent! I took my car after getting the run around from the Chevrolet dealer in Porterville AND Delano AND a local mechanic. After the local mechanic saw my car, he speculated that it MAY BE my transmission. My car was making a whirring/humming/wooing noise whenever I drove it which increased in noise but slowed down whenever I decreased my speed and vice versa. After the mechanic, I decided to take it to the Porterville dealer which I was not very fond of due to the low ratings and because I always took my car to the Delano dealer.The Porterville dealer told me the noise was not my transmission but actually my front right wheel bearing. Which in turn we checked and found no play but since my car is tiny, the wheel bearing shouldnt have any play to begin with. Moving on back to the mechanic in which he told me vehemently it is not the wheel bearing. So took it to the Delano dealer in which they said it was my front left wheel bearing and that it showed play. Took it back home and decided to try Big Brand.Big Brand did an amazing job getting me in on a quick notice since it seemed they were busy. They were able to diagnose my vehicle and let me know that it is in fact my wheel bearing. Their deals are AMAZING. They were the only ones around who gave me a great price and even have the free alignment check in which my car did need. They answered all my questions and even showed me personally why my tire should not have play. They were respectful and patient with my babbling and also gave us a ride home while they took in my car the same day to fix.I got my car back happy that the car drove smoothly again and there was no noise! I did have to take it back right after though due to a new noise I heard but they took me in automatically and fixed it for me, they said it was a screw or flap that may have gotten in the way so they fixed it at no charge.It has been about a month since then and my car is running great! Would highly recommend Big Brand.
