Wide selection of desserts. Cakes are not too sweet, and they have options for those with special diet preferences like keto and vegan. If they get too busy, have a little patience to wait til you get served, but staff are nice and trying to accommodate everyone. If you are a self entitled customer, maybe not the right place for you. First come, first serve...of course.

Came to know about this bakery via a coworker who brought in a huge mango cake for a party. Visited it today and got their burnt almond cake, Bamieh and Napoleon. They all have rose water in them and the taste is strong. The cream in between the cake layers are light, smooth and have the right amount of sweetness. Will be coming back for their whole cakes!

I ordered a cake with very clear instructions by using examples of the existing cake in the store. I was given a blank cake and when I told them it was to look like another cake on display they rushed the job and handed it to me. This cake was $130 and I expected it to look like something other than something I could have gotten at Safeway...I called the manager and was brushed off and told to bring it back and have the staff fix it. Im never one to complain about anything but this was horrible. I have included pictures for reference of how the decorations and design of the cake should have looked and what I actually received.

Have to get there early, or all the good stuff will be sold out! The second choice items are still tempting, so extreme self-control is required. Be sure to leave your credit cards home and carry cash per budget!

This is a great place for coffee and sharing your favorite desserts. Our friend could not have sweets so he opted for a Turkish coffee and we chose various treats for the table and take home. The decaf latte was out first, it was great with the raisin cookies (perfectly crisp and chewy at the same time) and pear almond tart (great almond flavor). The Turkish coffee was a fun taste, the coffee grinds at the bottom reminded me of cowboy coffee. We took home a box of mixed cookies for one household as well as a small fruit tart for another household. There are tables outside and a couple inside to enjoy your treats. Service is friendly and efficient.

I used to come here often when this place was under the name of Bijan bakery. I noticed this place is now under new ownership and thought they no longer sell the usual goodies anymore. I just visited them last Saturday and they still sell the all the goodies they used to sell under the previous owner. Man their cookies, cakes and other stuffs are so good. You need to try this place!!

My first Turkish coffee in the morning in the Bay Area. Living here for most of my life I had to try. Along with an Almond Croissant. It took a long minute to prepare but was smooth and lively. Reminds me of an espresso, but different in someway. Comment what I’m missing in words while I enjoy life’s simple experiences . 5-17-23. As always, post wherever your journey takes you. Btw the barista, kind and thoughtful. I got to the bottom of the coffee and silky grains at the bottom-so wonderful experience.

I was incredibly disappointed with the red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting I recently ordered. I was very excited to try it, but the cake was nothing like a red velvet cake. The frosting was overly sour, and the cake itself lacked the cocoa and moist, tender texture of a proper red velvet.The cake was simply dyed red that’s it. I am very unhappy with the quality of this dessert.

I dont know when change of ownership occurred but the customer service has taken a level up and is much better now. People there were friendlier, kinder, humbler and more attentive. The lady even asked my opinion of my latte. It felt nice to be valued.Comparing to the grumpiness, offensiveness, and carelessness in the former Bijans reign, this is definitely a fresh start and I hope theyll keep up the good work.Great service aside, the first pastry I tried, after being absent for many years (I didnt go because of the above-said store-wide Bijan attitude), was not as expected. Ive never tasted a Napoleon cake as gross, stale as this one, instead of inserting cream between sheet, they used gooey custard, yuck, it tasted like sticky gello. The pastry sheet was soft and flaky in texture, not the way I like. I like the one at Sheng Kee that has harder, crispier shell with thin layered cream in between. I wasnt sure if the cake was fresh either. For almost $7, it was a disappointment. Overall I didnt like the pastry.The love latte the lady made was quite good.One problem I noticed was there was no pricing in the beverages. Kinda a bummer cause they can charge whatever, and I want to know the price before ordering. Hopefully theyd set up a pricing board soon, things felt a bit temporary right now.They still sell Persian cookies and pastries. The nature of the Persian pastry is that the product is dry, flaky and less creamy, not the style I like. They probably should continue to offer French style pastries.The shop also appeared to be a bit messy and chaotic, not a place for zen moment.

This day was a very special day for my wife, we went out to celebrate all day and I completely forgot about the cake. I bought it at another bakery a long time ago but they closed too early so we found this bakery and since then on every birthday we buy our cakes at this bakery. We are 5 in the family so that day I called my friend who lives near the bakery we made a video call to choose the cake but unfortunately when cutting the cake my wifes brother-in-law got a hair on the cake the next day I returned to the store With the receipt and a photo I also had the slice of cake but I didnt want to take it inside the store so as not to cause a scandal I was expecting an apology and I just wanted to let them know what had happened and to be very careful with the preparation but they offered me a dessert, another smaller cake or a 50% credit and they wanted the cake back but I told them when we served that piece of cake we had already eaten a good part of the cake because we are not going to deny that the cakes are delicious and I was not going to stop buying in the store but when I received the stupid treatment they gave me when I tried to let them know what had happened, I didnt like it and it bothered me and I left the store, I talked to my friend and told him that I didnt want to talk about all this about them. If he could come back and let them know and we went the next day and no one could do anything they said we should call the manager they gave us his number my friend called him I put it out loud and he told him that I had been in the store the day before and that They offered me everything up to a refund or full credit for the purchase, something totally different from what they told me and I told my friend to hang up the call and many days have passed, I havent had time for this but here it is I wanted to do things were fine but instead they might have even thought that I could have done that so they could return my money but they were wrong about me because Im not that kind of person so there they have to do well in their business but Im not coming back to buy them a hair in a cake.
