A well run property, and at an excellent price point. The breakfast had ketchup in a pump dispenser, Ive not seen that before. Much easier to put on my scrambled eggs.Theyre serious about the no smoking, a room near me had the deodorizing in progress sign up, yep, someone smoked/vaped, and theyre getting charged.Id stay again, no doubt

To those best westerners who love to stay in this chain, this message is for you. I am a platinum member and have been staying in the best western hotels across California. This time I had a business trip to Dublin and I stayed at this hotel. My experience in one word is horrible. Here are the things I didnt like about the hotel:1) Service: when I arrived, the front service personnel wasnt courteous enough. I had to ask for my complimentary water from him. However, I was happy with the service I received from the housekeeping and restaurant ladies.2) Location: the hotel is located in a nice neighborhood next to a Mercedes-Benz dealer but it is also next to the highway. So, the sounds of cars never stop unless you take the rooms on the back side which is next to the parking lot/Dennys.3) Room: I stayed in a king bed. The lighting of the room is dark (yellow light) unless you open the curtains. The caveat is that the windows are on the side where people pass by to get to their rooms. So, there is no privacy. Another big issue we faced was no water supply in the sink and bathroom when we walked into the room. I called the front desk twice to have maintenance turn on the water supply. It seems that other people commented about this as well. I wasnt happy to pay $112/night to experience this. The bedding in the room was a bit unusual as well. It is so raised so high that we had a hard time climbing on it (by the way, we are l average-height individuals).4) Breakfast: not enough selection. Coffee was the worst I had in my life.Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. I would never stay here if I travel again.Thank you.

Safe location and a clean hotel - Good value for the cost of our stay. Staff was friendly and breakfast was hot and of good quality. Only downsides are the noise and the mattress. Due to the noise of the highway we slept with the AC fan on to drown out the noise. The rooms are older and could use a remodel, but to be expected at such a reasonable price. The mattress was very firm, which I liked, but my partner did not sleep well due to the mattress.

The BW is an amazing, safe place to stay.The rooms are clean and the team/staff is kind.Breakfast is hot and lots of options.I highly recommend this place, close to the freeway so plan on hearing the cars on the highway but when you stay on the 3rd floor, they provide ear plugs and youll be fine.Price is right and the staff is kind.

Very friendly agents and a nice reasonable stay! :) Im from Hawaii and stayed for 7 days for work in the San Francisco area. All the agents were super friendly and nice. Especially, Scott I met at night helped me to find the laundry place near the hotel. The hotel condition was good and the breakfast with all the agents smiling was memorable during the stay. Basically you get what you pay for and I knew what I was getting before I rented. We are traveling with a dog, so it was fine if you are just stopping for a night or two on the way to somewhere else. The staff was great. I knew where it was located when I, so I expected what I got having grown up in the area. I gave a location a one-star, in the event that someone else isnt familiar with the area. The hotel is on the southside of 580 adjacent to Hopyard Road. Its a bit noisy. Again, I knew this going in so Im not complaining. I just want other people to know before they book. The hotel is convenient to town, but that comes at a price.

3 people made my stay a great one! Scott checked me in and gave fantastic service. He gave me a room close to the front office. This was great because I had to work til the wee hours of the morning. When I was finished with work I came back to the hotel to meet Laleeka. She offered me a water and a snack and let me know I could have a later check out. Best personality ever!I checked out with Dillon. Perfect gentleman. When I asked for the best breakfast in town he gave me two great options.Besides the incredible humans I got to meet the hotel was clean and comfortable. Thank you all!Tommy L.

I was doing the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon in June and decided to stay in a more chilled environment pre race, in the delight that is Pleasanton.A delightful stay and extremely accommodating staff. I had my bike box with me, and Mike ( I think that was his name), stored my bags so I could go race and then return after to collect them. Such wonderful people here, Id recommend it to anyone. A fab spot to get everywhere you need to with some super places to eat and drink nearby.

This hotel has clean rooms and every staff I encountered was really friendly. Breakfast was not too bad for COVID times although they could use another waffle machine. I thought we stayed on the side near the interstate, but I never really heard much (I am a light sleeper). I did keep keep a/c on all night so that probably drowned out the noise. I did see some people swimming, but the pool area was really dark and looked to be a little unsafe. Overall, the price matches what you pay for.

The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Our room was very clean, warm, and inviting. After driving 6 hours, it welcome site! The man that checked us in was pushy and a bit rude. He talked to us in a condescending manner. The woman that checked us out was professional and friendly. This Best Western in Pleasanton, CA offers a real breakfast with bacon & eggs from 6:30-9:30 AM. Free coffee and free parking. It was a lovely respite after a long travel day. You will need your room key to get ice. There was a hard plastic divider between the lobby staff and the lobby for everyones protection. Some of the cleaning wore masks.

I did get my money back, just be prepared for the security deposit and cleaning staff determining damages/smoke.Great location. Lots of food options near by and places to go. Highway is right there soyou will be able to get on the road quickly if you are on business like I am or traveling.

This hotel has clean rooms, friendly staff, and a decent continental breakfast. The breakfast featured a neat, self-serve, conveyor-belt-based pancake machine, which was a novel experience for me.My only complaint (and it is minor enough not to warrant a deduction in the star rating) is that the room was a bit too dark. During the day with the curtains all the way open and all of the lights in the room on, it still felt dark in the room. Not a huge complaint, as it didnt really affect my stay that much, but definitely worth mentioning.

The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. It is situated next to the freeway so there is some noise associated to it’s location. They do provide earplugs to sleep with if needed. I didn’t use them and slept well. The Manager Scott was very friendly and helpful. A true professional. Overall I slept well on the comfortable bed and would stay at this hotel again if necessary.

Stayed 8 nights and only good things to say. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. The room was updated and very comfortable with fridge & microwave and furniture was in good condition. The pool was quite cold, hot tub was hot and we used both more than once. Free breakfast was the same every day, very good and tons of variety. Bacon and sausage links with scrambled eggs and waffles, fresh fruit and yogurt, bagels etc. And theres a Peets coffee in the parking lot too! There are lots of services within walking distance. People mention the freeway noise. It is noisy but the free earplugs solve that problem and we used them. We would stay here again.

Very nice BW. Rooms were clean and staff helpful. The freeway is next door but the noise from that was not a bother. Just in case, they give you a packet of earplugs in the room. Didnt try the breakfast, but it looked real good. Coffee there was much better than whats in the room. All in all, a very good stay and we would stay again.

I’ve stayed in many different hotels since I love traveling. This hotel is by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is indifferent and doesn’t seem to care about their mismanagement. The place is loud with freeway traffic, smoke alarms are short of batteries, charges are random with no reason, and there is no actual breakfast as advertised. After encountering two rooms with the beeping smoke alarm, we asked for a refund. The staff agreed but was unapologetic. Later I checked with the credit card company and found the charges were all wrong. Their providing earplugs are a clear message about the noise level there. I’d recommend staying away since they charge a higher hotel fee for a subpar motel quality.

I stayed there a few weeks ago for three days, two of those days, I was unable to shower because of a problem with the hot water pipes.After voicing my frustration to the management I received a generic response. We are sorry, hope you can give us another chance, etc.I give them another chance and stayed there the following week and found a pincherbug in my bathtub. Not a big deal. Then I had one crawling on my pillow. Jumped up and turned on the lights, got rid of it and checked the bed to find one crawling out of the pillowcase. I’m thinking it’s just bad luck til I go to leave the next day and see one outside of my door and then saw them all over the ground where the wall meets the floor, the entire length of the third floor. I have stayed at this hotel many times but I guess I will find another one from now on. Very disappointed.

Stayed here one night. Good water pressure and hot water. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Breakfast seemed limited but I never eat hotel breakfasts so couldnt really tell ya. Would stay here again. Their reciepts dont explain the charges very well and when I called to get a more detailed one I was told that was it but she could help explain. I dont care but when I submitt expenses their not calling to get clarification, thats what a reciept is for.

Room was ok. Everything appears to be in working order, the furnishing was relatively new. The shower had good pressure but not enough hot water. The bed was good. Despite all the effort, the location of the hotel really prevents it from getting higher ratings. The proximity to the freeway will keep guests from a quiet sleep in any room at this hotel.

Yes, it can be loud being right next to the highway, but that was expected so i wont deduct any points for that. I did not have the breakfast while there so I cant speak on that. Room was cleaned daily. Would stay there again. Good location. Only thing i would like to see different is pillow thickness. All four pillows were pretty thick and i like a thinner soft pillow. Would be nice to see 2 of each.

The complimentary breakfast was the same everyday, but had offerings of healthy choice, plus traditional continental breakfast. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. We were on the 3rd floor and our room looked new. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. We had breakfast every morning in the lobby which was included with the room. The hotel is by a busy highway and as a courtesy each guest had complimentary earplugs on the nightstand. The pool was nice and cleaned every morning.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. We liked the fact that there was complimentary WI-FI and breakfast provided. We really appreciated the kindness of Margaret (from Peru), who prepared the breakfast and was very eager to help us and pleasant enough to speak with each day we went in for breakfast. Breakfast was great (with the exception of the sausage links which werent tasty at all).The only unfavorable comment about our stay would have to be the highway noise from the traffic since it is situated next to the freeway; however, they did leave a pair of earplugs for that. Staff was super helpful...and the manager really helped me out when I needed it. I stayed for four nights and didnt have a single problem. The beds are very comfortable, in fact, didnt wanna get out! Room is decent sized and well decorated with a great TV. The pool was great, just wish it were a lil warmer. Again though, during a very difficult time for me, which is why I was in town, the staff was very understanding and very considerate to me. For that? I am very grateful. The motel it self was not bad at all. But as I am writing this I am on hold with my bank filing fraud charges! It has been a month since I stayed in this hotel. They charged my card 261 for my weekend stay which is exactly what I agreed to. But then I notice an additional charge for 119. I have called the hotel twice and dealt with the most rude and ignorant guy. They can not tell me what this charge is for. Which only leaves me to believe they used my card in error to charge another guests room.

This hotel is fine if one is in the area for business. I personally would not stay for a leisure visit -- find a quieter location. Very noisy as it is next to the freeway, but many of the hotels in this area share the same issue. The hotel is working on upgrading their soundproofing and does supply complimentary earplugs. I work in a hospital and to see housekeeping sanitize the walkways blew me away!!! Theres luscious grass for the lil paws and the fee to have those lil paws is the lowest by far in the Bay Area! I planned on rating only 1 star. However, the manager did reach out to me and gave a discount, so, I will rate three stars. I will provide some details about my stay.First, the lady that greeted me upon check-in was not only on an obvious personal call, but was visiting with a friend when I walked up. I did not wait long, however, should not have had to wait at all. The WiFi coverage was not only poor, but intermittent at best. This issue goes beyond a mere poor signal issue. However, I immediately knew this was an ongoing issue when the front desk recommended moving closer to the router to resolve the issue. They didn’t ask any other questions or offer any troubleshooting.I could hear heavy footsteps above me. The Air Conditioner struggled to maintain a temperature. The noise from the road made it hard to stay asleep. I did notice a card on the night table that recommended wearing ear plugs, however, there were no earplugs. Well, that and the bed was very hard.Unfortunately, if it was just the WiFi issue, I might consider staying again. Due to my overall experience, I will not stay again.

Our room and bath were exceptionally clean for our 2-night stay. We wondered if we were the first to use the room after a remodel? The answer was no but thank you for the compliment; we have very good, well trained cleaning personnel. The breakfasts were excellent with eggs, bacon, waffles, burritos, fruit, yogurts, muffins, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, on and on......more choices than you can possibly want. The attendants constantly brought in more food as required and kept the area very clean. We now know where to stay in the Pleasanton/Livermore area. Thank you Best Western Plus, we will be back.

I stayed for two nights at pleasanton, staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and so was the bath, looks like they recently redid the rooms. These guys have serve good breakfast, compared to similar hotels in the vicinity( as i have stayed in others earlier)- good spread with scrambled eggs & bacon. Only downside is a bit of traffic noise but it dies down in the night, other wise a good place to stay.

Front desk gentlemen was so friendly, helpful, polite and caring unfortunately I forgot his name, every staff member (from the person cleaning outside, the lady at the breakfast area, housekeeping and the check out lady) were very friendly and courteous. This location, nestled in between 680 and 580 was LOUD. We found one set of earplugs on the nightstand (thank you), but my wife and I almost divorced over who would get to use it. The room was clean and well maintained, but the bed linens were very coarse and uncomfortable. Pool access restricted to after 10:00 AM also seemed unfortunate.A highlight was the staff, mainly at breakfast. Helpful, efficient and extremely pleasant for early in the morning.

Nice, well located hotel for the price. Right next to freeway and near BART station. Many good restaurants in the area as well. Hotel is pretty nice as well. Bed was pretty comfortable, but WIFI was pretty slow. As runners, there was a running park about a mile away, which was very convenient. About 45 minute drive to city and around an hour and a half from Santa Cruz. The only issue I had was that the swimming pool was very dirty. Ive stayed at this location many times over the years. Probably will stay again.

Very nice rooms inside, to bad they didnt bother to use weather stripping on the doors. You will get a breeze through the door. In addition, with the adjacent freeway and roadways, the noise allowed through the door is to say the least annoying. Its so bad that they provide a pair of ear plugs on the night stand, I can usually sleep through noise, but not here, even with the earplugs.

Another wonderful experience at a BW in N CAL, it is a newer hotel, and everything was in excellent shape. The front desk lady was very helpful, checkin and check out were very quick. The room was spotless, housekeeping was meticulous. I got a ground floor room, as the exterior corridors of the higher floors sometimes cause me vertigo. Large breakfast, free paper, and during the day there is coffee/tea and snacks left out in case one misses breakfast, there is still something around to eat for free.....That is a very nice touch also.. The hotel itself is not bad, very clean and modern rooms. It is just situated at the corner of the on ramp to the I-580 freeway. Meaning all you hear is the sound of cars, trucks, big rigs accelerating to merge, all day and night. Theyre kind enough to provide one set of earplugs in the rooms.

Room 134 is on the ground floor and close to the freeways. Ear plugs are provided. Heavy foot plodding by person above. Loud whine nearby that lasted about 30 minutes at 5AM. Construction crew working just outside. On the positive, the room was clean and everything worked. Will probably find another, quieter place next year.

Looks like they have making some huge improvements. Or remodeling. Areas of the hotel were under construction but nothing that presented a difficult time while I was there. The room was immaculate. Remodeled. The customer service was great during the check-in and checkout. I received a rewards member goodie bag of chips, water, granola bar and a low calorie sports drink at check-in. The breakfast selection was a lot better than most other BW Plus Ive lodged at. The customer service for breakfast was superb. She made sure everything stayed fresh and topped off. This hotel is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and the freeway. This survey wasnt a 5 because of the congregation of flies that meet near the elevators. And also because of the high rate. If I could I would rated this hotel and my experience at a 4.5 stars. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel is centrally located - very close to restaurants, fast food, gas, freeway access. having said this, please know its in a oddish location..you can see the building from the freeway but takes a few twists and turns to find your way to property..it sits behind a very large new gym and hear Mercedes Dealership.Once you make the drive in/out of the property it will be less confusing..Although its so close to freeway on ramp, the rooms are very quiet..definitely can hear the car noise in the parking lot but not in the rooms.

The location of this hotel right next to the busy freeway leads to incredible noise throughout the night. The position is made worse because there is no consideration for it in the design of the doors and windows which are thin and leak air. The doors of the rooms open to the exterior which is appropriate for the climate but worsens the noise in the room. Expect to use earplugs at this spot!

It was very bad experience for me. I booked 4 double beds non smoking rooms for my family and my kids teams . I was working late at that night I called at 4 pm on that Friday that I will be there late. I will be there around 9 or 10 pm. My team will be earlier than me but I will be there late at night. Save the room for me. The receptionist said OK. Dont worry.I got there before 10 pm that Friday night. I tried to check in. The receptionist told me there was no more room left for me, she filled all out despite booking, confirming and holding my credit card for that.If I want, I can stay in a smoking room. She can give one king bed without sofa bed. Me and my husband and 2 kids . We cannot stay in a smoking room and we cant fit 4 people in the one bed. She said sorry and she can cancel the reservation instead of helping me. She told me find the another hotel around there. Imagine finding a hotel at 10 oclock at night with 2 kids is really frustrating. I booked ahead of time not to worry about this and I get there I dont have room anymore!I am a Best Western member and I stayed best western a lot of times. This is the bad experience I ever have in my life, wiping out my trust in Best Western. I will never stay there again, I will not book for my team and and I will never recommend to any one. Be aware If you are planning to stay in this hotel using your debit card or cash, call the hotel ahead of time to find out what their policy is since the front desk people just ask you for a credit card, ID and proceed to charge your card without even asking if thats the payment method you wish to use, this will help you avoid any unpleasant surprises ..overall pricey considering location (next to the freeway)They should have ear plugs and water bottles in their rooms instead of the famous complementary breakfast.

Only room left was on the third floor and the elevator was broken so we had to make several trips carrying heavy luggage up the stairs. No effort was made to fix the elevator or help me transport my luggage.
