I travel quite a bit for work. Im on the road 2-3 nights a week. Ive stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last few months and I find it not only one of the cleanest hotels, but the ambiance is peaceful in the middle of a very busy area. Plus, the hot breakfast has more options than other Best Westerns.The staff are very professional and friendly. Ive never had a problem here, which in itself is amazing, but Im certain any problem would be resolved immediately and quite professionally.I will be staying here again when Im in the area. No question!Thank you!

This was by far the best hotel/hotel experience I have had here in california. The room was so clean so beautiful. The staff was so friendly. The free breakfast spread was amazing. I would stay here in a heartbeat again. I actually will plan to come back with my kids. So amazing!!

We had a great stay! Room was really nice, my daughter (8) said the pullout bed was actually comfortable, our bed was a little uncomfortable but to be fair we have a sleep number at home so anything compared to that is gonna be tough. Overall very quiet, good variety at breakfast, the coffee machine in the lobby is super fancy, my husband said he was impressed with the water pressure in the shower, TVs have Netflix sign in options which was great, lots of stores and door dash options nearby, private parking garage under the hotel and front desk has cameras up that theyre constantly watching so it felt safe. Would recommend staying here, we would come back for sure.

The staff was excellent. Kayla helped us make our reservation. She was helpful and kind. Yesenia helped us check in, and she was equally wonderful. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and stocked for our stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Had got two free rooms and when checked in was charged 200$ for deposit. Then wasn’t told that parking wasn’t free and they charge 20$ per night . Definitely not coming back.

Room was very large. It had a nice wet bar with microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. It also had a decent size desk and a sofa with coffee table. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had a vanity completely separate from the shower and commode. The shower was updated. The lobby was nicely appointed and there was a very nice outdoor courtyard. There isnt too much around walking distance, but the area seemed safe. The property and room were very clean and the staff was very nice. I would stay again and was pleasantly surprised how nice this property was.

This is an outstanding place to stay. Location was excellent, staff is friendly, rooms were great, and amenities were spot on. If you are on a business trip in the area or visiting some of the beaches nearby this is a great choice. Very enjoyable.

Very safe area. There is a LAPD patrol 🚓 vehicle on the side street 24/7. They have a small eating area that serves breakfast. The omelets wow! Friendly staff and great patio area. Olive Garden and several other businesses in walking 🚶‍♂️ distance. Pricey but nice getaway!

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and we had a very enjoyable experience. We were greeted with a smile at the front desk and efficiently checked into our room. The room itself was quite nice - sort of a mini suite with a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and most of all it was quiet which was a pleasant surprise given the hotel is immediately adjacent to Pacific Coast Highway.Underground parking was plentiful and easy to get in and out of. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options in the self service buffet. We enjoyed eating in the courtyard and I appreciated the sugar free pancake syrup that was at the table.The unlimited Starbucks coffee was a nice plus and my wife really enjoyed the nice selection of teas, both of which were available all day.The location of the hotel is very convenient for the South Bay cities. Close to the Manhattan Village shopping center and not far from the beach.We would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quiet comfortable place to stay in the South Bay for a reasonable price.

Mediocre room, terrible service. Checked in for a week stay. Called prior to confirm details about payment, they told me one thing. Arrived and was told differently. Manager non-existent... they work 10-4pm, she wasnt able to get ahold of manager on the phone nor was a manager present at any other time during my stay.Later that night, woke up to TV randomly turning on at 4am...Thought it was some type of revenge issue. Nope...multiple people had their tvs turn on at 2am, 3am, etc.....overhead the lady at the front desk say sorry, we know its been a problem.Other than that, basic room, lumpy mattress, and $20 parking they fail to mention...

We often stay at Best Westerns and staying here was one of our top experiences. The room was quiet and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I like their bath amenities (I like the smell). We liked that they had a variety of different flavors of waffle batter and good coffee at breakfast. The location was good for us; there are stores and restaurants in walking distance and we walked to the beach too (about 30 min walk to the pier). There was a bit of a downside which was the elevator seemed pretty old and was slow. Overall, we would like to stay here again.

I have mixed feelings because the breakfast was great, staff was helpful, and the layout of the room was nice. But it felt so damp and I felt like our towels never dried and our clothes always smelled. I’d be careful here if sensitive to mold because although I didn’t see any it seemed like the perfect breeding ground for it. It grossed me out a bit, which was a bummer because in every other way it was a nice motel

Had a few nights stay with BW. Rooms are comfortable. However, Im quite dissapointed with the services. First, my dry laundry got delayed even though I had allowed 2 full days to help dry clean and return to me. I have to fly off without collecting my clothes. Then, BW had kindly delivered my clothes via post to my next destination, which i appreciated.Subsequently, I noticed my credit card was charged $50 without informing me. I had also written email to check what they have charged to my credit card and i have requested for a receipts for any amount that they charged. Unfortunately, there were no reply despite of my multiple follow ups.

Nice little best western. They definitely have a nice atmosphere for a Best Western when entering in the lobby. They have a really cool coffee station that has lattes and everything thats 24/7 along with other coffees which I thought was really nice touch.The rooms are really nice size. Now the rooms are outdated but the space made up for.Its a few minutes away from the beach so you dont see the beach or anything from the rooms.Area is very nice lots of restaurants and spots clustered all around there.Staff were very warm and friendly.The elevator definitely had some major manic issues as it sounds like it was getting ready to break and it had a really weird thing as youd hit the button youd have to hit it several times before it would stay and then actually come.I wouldnt stay here again but we made the most of our stay and thinking about it the breakfast was definitely better than the average Best Western but still not saying much.

I set my expectations low since I havent stayed in a budget hotel since I was a kid. We chose this hotel for the location and I wasnt expecting much, but this place surprised me. The room is small but clean. The breakfast is excellent with rotating hot foods and 6 or 8 kinds of waffle batter and loads of toppings for oatmeal, including aside berries and sliced almonds. The fitness center is small but well appointed and more importantly empty so I can use whatever I want whenever I want. Staff is very helpful and the Courtyard is very quiet, so were having a nice relaxing stay.

This Best Western is perfect! The staff is wonderful and professional, and our room was clean and tidy. The patio area has a pretty garden, and the continental breakfast was huge - omelettes, gluten free waffles, fruit, cereal, almond milk. Water pressure in the showers is great. There are a ton of stores and restaurants in the area, and Manhattan Beach is great.

The location is great. Its right up the street from where I used to live so I knew it was a safe area and a great spot to walk to Starbucks and to grab stuff. The rooms were nice, the bed was actually really nice, but the room was very muggy/humid. The rug was slightly damp, so I kept the bathroom vent on all day and night. The breakfast was also quite decent. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

The first day was ruff there was hair all in the tub and dirty kids underwear under a chair but when I informed them the room was cleaned which was great they offered cleaning every day while I was there which I appreciated and they did it without a reminder staff was amazing and very nice and welcoming the parking I did not like at all breakfast was good my son loved the seating area and was always out there enjoying himself I wish they had a pool like some of the others my bed wasn’t to comfortable but I was able to make it work

I’ve stayed in many Best Westerns across the country and I think everyone can agree that you never truly know what you’re gonna get. This location is mediocre. Many rooms, our included, have no outside windows. The only window we had was underneath an overhang of the floor above facing directly into the courtyard. It was dark, loud, and had zero privacy if you wanted the blinds open. It was like a inside cabin on a cruise ship. Bedroom area was small. Living area and kitchenette were good sized, but the kitchenette is mostly for show. There are no utensils, plates or anything. Just empty cupboards. Fridge was so loud it kept waking us up. As for location… choose carefully. It is technically close to the beach. About a 20 min walk. Uphill on the way back. Fun once but not fun if you want to move between the beach and the hotel multiple times a day. At the same time, it’s so close that we sometimes had a hard time getting an Uber - we kept getting dropped. Breakfast was ok. Pretty basic continental. Overall, not impressive. Probably would not stay again.

So i was hoping that this hotel was going to good but it was amazing. My wife and her mother are not form the United States and i was afraid of it being bad but this hotel is perfect. Honestly worth the price and the location is perfect. In a good and safe area not far from the beach. Honestly will stay here again. The rooms are really clean and up-to-date. The paid parking is worth it. And the staff are friendly. And willing to help out. With all the good the only down side is that there is a 100 deposit a night that your will get back i feel like it should be a little lower. And the grab and go brake fast is what ever. But i would recommend this to my friends and family

As soon as I opened the room to my beautiful, spacious suite, everybody exclaimed: THIS CANNOT BE A BEST WESTERN! From the friendly, smiling check-in by Sergio to the deluxe bathroom and roomy, tastefully decorated interiors, everything far exceeded expectations. The suite allowed for complete privacy and everything looked brand spanking new. It was affordable luxury at its best. We loved the high-end decorative touches such as plantation shutters in every window, modern lighting features, and a doorway that overlooked the courtyard. The kitchen was fully decked out and every need of the weary traveler was considered in the amenities. Bravo! Will never look at Best Western again with a dismissive eye.

This was actually a really nice hotel to stay in. The location is close to the beach, and the free breakfast is delicious with lots of different options from waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and more. The lobby and the rooms have a contemporary style and are designed nicely. Theres a patio area in the middle of the hotel with many places to sit for fresh air and a firepit. The room we got had a small but good-sized kitchen area with appliances and pots and pans. The color scheme of the blue walls went well with the California sun beaming during the day. The bed was very comfy. Only down side is the $200 refundable deposit that we were informed about once we got to the hotel, not when we booked it. Also, when we asked for new bedding so the bed could get made while we were out, the cleaning service only remade the bed and didnt put new sheets on. I think you have to just be very specific about that. Otherwise, I would stay there again in the future.

Staff was not knowledgeable with the area and came off rude and annoyed with questions. Most of which they had no answer to. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of waffles to choose from. No pool/hot tub.Find water/drinks somewhere else. 1 bottle of water in vending machine was $4.Honestly, would I recommend this hotel to anyone.Nope.

It was a great place to stay, the only thing to consider if you are planning on cooking here is that the kitchen supplies are limited. But you can always call the front desk and they will provide you with additional cooking ware.The breakfast was great. They had different flavor batter, strawberry, banana nut, whole wheat and regular. They also had oatmeal and a yogurt area where you could add fresh fruit or granola.Overall a great stay.

Less of a review; more of a “things I’d want to know if I was checking it out to stay.”Location: Convenient; the beach isn’t walkable but close. Stores and food nearby. Pizza place across the way is good.Parking: additional cost and a little awkward to get into but plenty of spaces availableCommon areas: some great outdoor spaces with plenty of seating and tables that we brought food back to. A nice courtyard. No pool. We loved the courtyard.Room: great decor and all the basic necessities.Breakfast: our room had a kitchen so we didn’t use the breakfast. Not all rooms have a full kitchen but the ones that do are full kitchen - including stove. No frying pan but four different pots. :)Beds: As a family of four we found s the room options limited. Double beds for 4 people don’t really work. Queen options would have been nice. We opted for the king plus sofa bed. The bed was great; the sofa bed was awful. We ended up with the sofa bed mattress on the floor and it was more comfortable.Bathroom: everything was clean and in working order but know that it is a tight fit. The sink area is kind of a hallway with the closet. Shower pressure is decent.

Our family of 5 had a great time staying here. It was clean, conveniently close to everything, and their service was wonderful. I’de say the best thing for us was the breakfast, They had so many options (and not the generic stuff you see at most hotels). A+ for the breakfast staff as well. If I had to choose a negative, I’de say the parking situation can be a bit tense since it’s a small underground lot and can fill up fast. When we arrived late after our flight was late at around 9pm, all the parking spots were full. The front desk woman said we could park in the temp lots on the side of the building with no issue. She was right, there was no problem. Thanks again!

Breakfast! But first, the details.Our room was similar to a studio apartment with kitchenette and separate sitting area. My husband is very particular about hotel beds and he described this bed as “cloud like”.The property itself is well maintained and clean. Free underground parking within 4 miles of LAX was a definite plus. Check in was a breeze and the staff, although it was almost midnight, were courteous and welcoming.Given all those pluses, it was still the breakfast that set this hotel apart. Beyond a doubt the best we’ve had in our extensive travels throughout the country.Catalina and Hector did an amazing job keeping all of the offerings well stocked. From the fresh pico de gallo and cheese to go on your scrambled eggs to the six different types of waffles to choose from, everything was delicious. The yogurt bar featured sliced almonds and granola as well as fresh strawberries and blueberries (among others)We would consider ourselves fortunate to be able to stay here again.

Rooms we had were, clean, tidy, spacious & well catered for with a TV in the lounge area (where the sofabed is) & in the bedroom (where the double bed is).Breakfast area is small but seemed adequate for the number of guests & theres a nice breakfast bar type table/seating area just round the corner of the food area with a TV that had the World Cup on 🤩 .Parking is underneath and theres a lift that takes you upto hallway just next to the reception & kitchen area on 1st floor.That lift also takes you up to the rooms on 2nd floor.

I reserved online but when my plans changed I had to give them a call. They were quickly able to help me reschedule. The whole time we were there we only saw 2 staff members, both working front desk, but they greeted us and helped us however we needed. The rooms were very nice, the TV swiveled out enough to watch from the bed or the table, and everything was clean. The only issue was getting up to the third floor. The elevator was slow and it shook when it came to its stop. We were worried about getting stuck in the elevator so we started taking the stairs.

Very nice and comfortable stay that is close to the LAX airport. The outside/hallways may fool you, but the rooms are beautifully renovated and clean. The only caveat, was that the rooms were extremely small. We had a queen bed, but honestly it seemed like a full. The distance to the beach, food and dispensaries was also great.

We booked the room for 3days and we told the front desk man we might check out earlier on the 2d day due to our flight. On 2d day morning around 11am there is a lady just use her card to break in our room and shout “our system shows that you should check out now.” I told her “We booked the hotel for 3 days”and she said”Ok I will go check our system”. COME on~when you try to just open a customers’ room while they are resting, you should check how many days they pay for their staying before head or maybe calling the room to ask the situation. The lady of the front desk is just so not professional !! Hope she is not the manager there🙄. Such a bad experience of staying for someone to just break into the room…

Nice and clean! The lobby is very nice, almost resort-like even and my room was spotless and spacious. The staff was very accommodating, I originally booked through a 3rd party but they were kind enough to PRICE MATCH the exact same offer to make booking that much easier - huge thanks! Robert was very helpful, he went above and beyond more than once to make my stay comfortable and was just so kind in general. Jim took care of me at check in and he was very patient and polite with me. Admittedly, I was getting frustrated with some third-party-booking hang ups at check-in (no fault of his) but he was very professional, patient, and extra polite when he didn’t have to be. Thanks Jim and sorry about that. I recommend staying here, great value, I would book again!

I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for comfort in a great location. Theres no swimming pool. For my children and I, No pool is a down side....but we were exhausted. We stayed here for one night after visiting museums.... Still got 5 stars because of the great service, great location, and great price. They have a really good breakfast, lots of choices. Personally I loved the coffee machine.....wow!! So many choices of coffee and tea..... We added this hotel to our list of favorites. Were definitely coming back. We were very comfortable in a very clean and spacious room. Next time were staying longer.

My wife stayed in a suite that came with a microwave, small empty refrigerator for guest use, and a coffee maker. The room was a corner room, providing privacy. There is a school next to the hotel, so during the day you can hear the children playing. The building appeared to be a bit dated, but had a fresh coat of paint. My wife only interacted with the front staff desk during her stay (4 nights), however the front desk staff were friendly and professional.The overall stay (4 nights) was decent, however on the third day my wife noticed either bed-bug or flea bites. At first she thought it might have been mosquito bites, and on the fourth day (check out), she realized she had several bites across multiple areas of her body. After researching the look, number, and locations of the bites clearly denote them coming from bed-bugs or fleas. This was in room 214.She did call the hotel to report this, and the staff were again friendly and professional.

I admit that I was hesitant with the Best Western name (we used priceline express deal). However, this has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Its ideal for free parking which couldnt be any easier, as it is underneath and the elevator goes from the basement parking up to the hotel rooms. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of selection. Our rooms were also made every day for us, even when we left late one day around 1pm. The rooms are quite nice. We have a front sitting area with kitchenette. The TV is a little awkward due to it being in the corner away from the beds. It prevented a decent angle from the furthest bed. The beds were OK, not as good as other brand hotels, but we arent paying those prices either. Im very content and happy we chose to stay here. I wish it was closer to downtown as the traffic to popular sites can be horrendous and the trip takes much longer than anticipated. We definitely recommend this hotel due to value and amenities it provides!

Italian was on the menu and it was good! There were also several big screen tvs on the wall it was easy to enjoy the sports games! Their gym was clean, had good equipment and offered nice cool towels which is appreciated after a hard workout! I loved the courtyard, very inviting and good layout. Being with my disabled mother I am always concerned about safety. I had no worries with staying in the hotel. There was no homeless around and the parking lot felt safe as well. Every time I’ve had to do business in LA, I stay here. The place is great for the price, but the staff makes all the difference. James especially has always gone ABOVE AND BEYOND! He always gives me the hook up with complimentary cookies at the front desk and is always in a great mood- pleasant and helpful to customers. The complimentary breakfast in the morning has a ton of options, even for healthy eaters. There’s also a complimentary happy hour with snacks and wine which is perfect after a long day of meetings. Temp control in shower didnt work. Cover for box of tissue was gross with nasty looking stains. I reports above to the front desk and told them it was ok to wait until I checked out the next morning. Despite those two things I give the place a high rating for amenities and staff. Room has small area with couch and table and across from that an area with a mini fridge, sink and coffee maker, and desk area for your laptop. All simple but nice. The bathroom was split into two sections, one with sink and the other with toilet and shower/bath. The queen size bed was comfortable. There was a closet with ironing board and hanger. The room looked vert nice. They also serve a breakfast with a wide compliment of choices that include making your own waffle. Recommended.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel.Recently flew in from NYC and stayed at this hotel for five days. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly, they even allowed me to check in earlier at 10 am which was a huge benefit to get rid of my bags and relax sooner.I stayed on the first floor which was quiet and they have a very nice patio with fire pit that is functional.Hotel offers breakfast daily which is the usual bacon, eggs, waffles, French toast, cereal and yogurt etc. From Monday to Thursday they have social hour from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. During social hour they have buffet style food, appetizers, different wines and Coors lights beer on tap. One day they offered lasagna, wings, mac and cheese and garlic bread. The second day they offered chinese food, egg rolls, dumplings chicken teriyaki and vegetables. All were good. Hotel even has guest laundry so you can wash your own clothes, you just need $1.50 in quarters for washer and for the dryer. The desk sells detergent and will change out money to give you quarters if you need it. I highly recommend hotel close to everything and free parking. Im looking forward to going back again in the future.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April, and had a great time. You will need a car to get to the beach, but we had no problem parking at the beach. Onsite parking is well lit and felt safe at all hours.The rooms were very clean and spacious. There was a separate living room/kitchen area and a bedroom with a door. Which was nice for us early risers, not to disturb the late sleepers.The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.The continental breakfast was excellent. They had about 6 flavors of waffle batter to choose from and plenty of bacon, eggs, fruit ... etc.A short trip to all the famous spots .. about 20 min to Venice/Santa Monica. A nice walk along the strand will get you to Hermosa Beach if you want a little nightlife. We made it to Hollywood in a little over an hour via the scenic route (Mullholland Dr). This was post rush hour .. and a great breakfast at Uncle Bills Pancake house at MB pier. So many places to eat in town, we couldnt get to them all. We were close enough to the airport to make a quick getaway, and far enough from it to not feel like we were staying at the airport.

We arrived to be greeted by Brent. The BEST check in we ever experienced. Brent is genuine, polite, courteous and he is extremely KNOWLEDGEABLE of the hotel and surrounding area. This location is a very nice part of California and felt safe. This BW was recently renovated and is well maintained. We stayed in a King suite. The living and kitchen area felt spacious. Some parts of room had older features but it is clearly immaculate and a very pleasant room. Fresh paint, porcelain tile, new rugs clearly make this room bright. Beautiful white shutters instead of curtains was a great feature. Air conditioning worked great and goes on and cools immediately!! The kitchen was a full service kitchen including an oven and dishwasher! The bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen counter serves as a very spacious desk area with plenty of plug ins. WiFi worked great. Bathroom had door separating sink area from toilet/tub area. They offer FREE parking located under hotel with elevator. Breakfast was included and had everything; eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, waffles, juices and so much more. Coffee in lobby available 24/7. I saw fruit and newspapers in the lobby. Very nice outdoor sitting area. Directly across the street was a food market and bagel store. Plenty of shopping in the area and Manhattan Beach down the street. They have a nice room service menu too. Would stay here again in a heart beat!Tip: ask for a room not facing Sepulveda Blvd because there is traffic noise certain times of the day.

My recent stay at the Best Western in Manhattan Beach exceeded my expectations. After leaving the Kimpton Palomar in Beverly Hills and traveling to Manhattan Beach for a few days, I really didnt expect much from this little hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by to see how well it had been renovated. The staff were extremely pleasant and the facilities were immaculate. We enjoyed the complimentary wine in the courtyard everyday, next to the fire pit. Kimpton Hotels are normally my choice of stay whenever possible, so I was very surprised to see this little hotel rivaled the Kimpton Palomar of Beverly Hills. I give this hotel 5 stars and would definitely recommend staying there if youre going to be in the area!
