BEWARE!! They have a 20% restocking fee and are not customer-focused. I ordered a rebuild kit for a Zodiac MX8 pool vacuum, which contained multiple parts. The parts were shipped, crammed into a USPS envelope. The various parts were bare, with NO Zodiac bags nor labels included. NOTHING was marked with Zodiac branding. I have been burned with non-OEM parts from others suppliers, so I expressed concern about the unprofessional way the parts were shipped. Bestpools became belligerent via email once challenged. I was not satisfied, so I requested a return authorization. I had to pay for the return shipping and then they kept 20% of my money. Poor customer service. Horrible experience. I will never order from them again.And then, their response to my FACTUAL review, is to attack my credibility and call me dishonest. Pictures of the shipment attached. My actions were appropriate. The seller should not attack a customer for posting accurate reviews.

When this part went out on my pool pump I could not find a replacement local nor anywhere closer than Pasadena, CA. I was panicked that it wouldnt get here anytime soon. Also, the pricing for this part from other shops were very high so I was worried about pricing before I looked at the price at Best Pool Shop.Best Pool Shop not only had the part in stock, the price was a fraction of what the others were charging. There was no tax and shipping was free!My replacement part came very well packaged. It also was a quality part and was exactly what was advertised. Also, the part was ordered on the 6/7/24 and it was delivered on 6/10/24. I live in AZ so granted not that far but I have had things in my own state take longer, lol.Long story short, Best Pool Shop did everything professionally, affordably priced, and delivered swiftly. I would order from them again with no second thought.

Great service, price and shipping from California to Florida. And it even included the float mechanism! That was $40 more on Amazon. Photos are b4 and showed why I had to replace. A plant grew up around the filler and the root pressure snapped off the connecting port ring!Glad I bought direct. Great job! Keith

Sent the wrong part. Then you get to pay for return shipping for their error and restock fee. In responce to your remarks. I ordered a Penstair float valve equalizer. I received a Aqualstar float valve equalizer. It was never installed on the pool and wasnt dirty. I guess the rest was creative writing on your part.Just for fun check their BBB rating

Although they shipped the item quickly it is not what I ordered nor what it states on the packing slip......what I thought I was buying was jandy diverter valves.....the packing slip even says jandy diverter valves 4724 but what I received was knockoff diverter valves Im sure amazon sells for half the cost of what I payed.....just because its looks like a name brand doesnt make it a name brand...I called jandy to verify that these are in fact knockoff valves....you can not sell something as a name brand and advertise as a name brand then sell fake items...thats called false advertising and fraud! I will be reporting your store front and online store to the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION FOR FRAUD.....thank you for sending the packing slip with the fraudulent name next to your business name.....makes proving that much easier 😉 😜 do not buy from these frauds! Jandy would state it on handle! Reported to federal trade commission for consumer fraud! I also have reported this charge to my bank as a fraudulent charge....they refunded my money already.....they soon will be drawing it from your account....should not have refuse the refund....at least then you would have your knockoff items back......but instead once again(seeing the other reviews) you argued with a customer instead of trying to make things right.....

I placed an order for 12 tubes of novagard silicone adhesive on 3/5/24 and received them a week later. When I got them out to use this week I noticed 6 of the tubes expired 3/13/24. Which was right at the time I received them. I emailed asking what I could do and basically was told my order was 3 months old and you dont sell expired product. Im sorry but the dates tell the story. You obviously do sell expired product and you have no customer service either. Look at the BBB rating if you want to see the company you are dealing with. Also look at the responses to previous reviews which will tell you all you need to know. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

The Best Pool Shop is great to work with. Every time I need a product, they have it. Their prices are among the best you can find, and they always deliver quicker than expected. I just needed a part for our DE filter, just the small grid. Was able to find the part on this company website, shipping was free also! The product was shipped and arrived in the estimated timeframe. The product was packed very well to avoid any damage and it is perfect and fixed our filter. I will be visiting this website again when I need parts for our pool.

I am extremely disappointed with the terrible customer service provided by this merchant. I purchased a product that turned out to be defective and does not work at all.However, when I contacted the merchant requesting a refund or replacement, they refused to take any responsibility. They acted in complete bad faith by dismissing my complaint and referring me to the manufacturer, shirking their obligations towards the consumer.I tested this product for 3 months and my CYA hasnt decreased by a bit.This merchant showed no consideration for the customer, provided no solutions to remedy the situation, and was utterly disingenuous. Their attitude was deceitful and underhanded.I urge consumers to avoid purchasing from a company that fails so blatantly to stand behind the products they sell. They clearly have no integrity when it comes to treating customers fairly or remedying issues. I will certainly never purchase anything from them again.

Customer service seems to be a bit of a challenge with this company. Here is a screenshot of an email I received. Choose for yourself if youd like to do business with them.In full disclosure, I was 25 days outside the 30 day return policy. However, I own a retail business as well, and as long as we believe the customer is acting in good faith, we always strive to take care of the customer (e.g. a return outside of our 90 day policy). Best Pool shop, however, wants to get into a google review fight over a $15.99 purchase! 😂In retaliation to my review, this person went to my companys Google review page and gave a negative review. This person has only written two reviews. The other review is strikingly similar.Reading through the reviews and responses of this business, it doesnt take much (regardless of whatever the truth may be in these situations of which I know nothing about) that there is a severe lack of professionalism and respect on part of this company.My fault for not having done my research. If youre reading this, hopefully, its not too late for you.P.S.To reply to the response:1. Youre unsure of what I am trying to convey? Please re-read my first sentence.2. Yes, it was outside of your 30 day return policy. Customer service is about finding the grey, not enforcing black and white. You said no and I said ok. Ordered a replacement bezel for a Hayward heater ($550.00). Installed it and the display wasnt working right. Had to email BPS because there was no customer sevice due to extremley high call volume. The bezel I received didnt look like the part shown on their website. I questioned and was told the part was fine and it was probably something else wrong with the heater. Was also told they would not take return on a part that had been installed. Told me to contact Hayward. I will never give this company my business again. Terrible customer service.

I couldn’t find the jet fitting anywhere else. I definitely looked many places. Then I found these people. They have got a wide selection of seems like almost everything. If you can’t find it I’ll bet they have it. Even if it’s a regular type item. Buy it from these people. Not only do they have alot of stuff. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE**** My husband purchased a Pentair V2 Rebel suction side pool cleaner on line and we received it about 5 days later. When my husband with the assistance of our pool man tried it in the pool they found it that the cleaner was not working as it should. They tried everything to get it to work to no avail. The cleaner was getting stuck in the shallow end. They adjust the pressure but it still was not working. I tried to call but all I got was an answering service program. Come to find out that they have no life person in customer service. Therefore I went on the Best Pool Shop website to inquire about the return policy and talked to Vinny on the online chat I was given instructions to box it up and bring it to the Pasadena store and I was provided with a physical address. My husband and I decided to drop it off at the store today. When we arrived at the front customer desk we addressed the issue with the employee behind the counter only to be patronized and threaten. He stated the product was fine and working without testing it in the pool. He then said he could refund the money minus 20 to 50% fee for restocking when we said that it was too much he became very aggressive and verbally attacked us. When i asked for a receipt or some kind of proof that the product was delivered to the store he refused and told us to mail it in even tho it was going to the same store we brought it to. After agreeing he refused to give us the boxed product back thats when I told him the product is ours I had to grab it back from him and that only made him angrier. I called the police to filei an ncident report.Do not Shop here. This is not certified by the Better Business Bureau.

Bought a new control board for my Pentair Ultratemp Heater as over time the sun degraded the liquid crystal display. Im happy to say that the process couldnt have been smoother. I was able to confirm online that the part was exactly what I needed. The price was right and shipping was fast. As an aside, if anyone is thinking of handling this repair on your own, it can easily be done! The swap is a simple plug and play. I took a pic to be sure I got everything back into the right place but honestly that wasnt even needed as it is all color coded. Best Pool Shop advertising valves as Jandy Type where the valves are not made by Jandy. Much like any car manufacturer will advertise their cars as Lexus type. This is deceiving information and I wonder if Jandy corporation is aware of using their brand name to sell a product which is not Jandy. I called Best Pool Shop and requested to return the valves, they agreed however refused to pay to ship the wrong valves back although is their responsibility due to false advertising. I will never buy again from them.

I canceled my order when I thought I had made an error, however I then wanted to reinstate my order. When emailing the company to disregard the cancellation email, they said they could not disregard it. So I simply placed a new order (in the next day or so) however, they raised the price of the product by $80 during the time in-between my orders! I emailed them for an explanation regarding the sudden price increase. They noted that the initial price was an error and refused to honor it. They were also indifferent when I said I would take my business elsewhere.

They approved the return only because they knew they sent the wrong part but then charged me a 20% restocking fee when they sent the wrong item. I should have read these reviews before we ordered our Navigator Pro. We wrote to him letting him know it wasn’t running correctly and he immediately got defensive. We went through Amazon for a refund and he was defensive and rude in his reply. I told him he was arrogant and unprofessional to say that his products are never defective. Again, he was offended. According to his responses to the negative reviews on this site, this is a common behavior for him. Be warned.

Tl;dr - refused to return 200 dollars because the corner of a sticker got folded in the mail and then banned us for being upset about it.Edit: Then they made baseless false accusations against us in a libelous attempt to undermine a comment they didnt like.---Ordered a motor that turned out to be an incorrect fit (our mistake, not theirs). It was never used, never went outdoors. Opened on the kitchen table, recognized on the kitchen table, boxed up again on the kitchen table - no use whatsoever. Mint condition.We shipped it back at our expense and were told that we would not receive a refund as it was returned in bad condition. They attached the picture below showing the corner of the sticker peeled back. We were told we had tampered with the motor and would not be issued a full refund but that out of courtesy they would be keeping the motor and half of the money.We replied to the email reiterating that it was pulled out of the box, looked at, and then placed back in the box. We received an email including the following quotes:>Im sorry, but we sent you a brand new item, but as you can see from the pictures the label was tampered with.>Youre ignoring the proof that we sent you. We have all the proof that the product was not in its original brand new condition that we shipped and delivered to you.Now let me own this, the email my wife sent was angry and accusatory. We had just been told the corner of a sticker cost us over 200 dollars. It was frustrated, but not profane or threatening or anything like that. I think it is important to understand that as you consider the theoretically professional small business then telling my wife:>We will no longer reply to any of your emails [she sent one email] and will no longer do business with you. You will be banned from our business. Well make sure to save all that proof.Its a good thing theyre saving all that proof. I dont know what we would do if that picture got out.

Bought and received NEW complete DEL60 pool filter. Item came much quicker than stated date. The product listed price was MUCH lower than the competition. I was concerned because there was such a price difference between them and Amazon or elsewhere. I called them and they ensured me that it would work.Long story short. Item received quickly. I installed it within a few days and now my pool is clear again. Filter works WONDERFUL. Would shop again and recommend them. Their prices are unbelievable but the filter works great so far. I ordered a filter part on June 5th, having had good experience with the seller previously. Next day my order was cancelled and refunded through Amazon Pay, with the sellers apology because they had complaints... from our customer and stopped selling the product. On June 7th the same item listed in stock again and at a higher price. I asked for my order to be honored and was informed they received another one yesterday but refused to take my order. Nobody answers the phone (ever) and now they blocked my IP from accessing their website. I have email correspondence and screenshots to substantiate this review if anyone interested. Or perhaps its easier to save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere.

Went on their website to buy pentair cartridge filters and all over their website says “pentair” they are selling a knock off and the filters dont fit correctly to OEM tolerance. I have cloudy water due to a loser fit then oem due to blow by around filter fittings. When I told the owner via email About the issue the owner could care less and became immediately defensive. Highly deceptive website. Beware of return policy such as large restocking fees and they will not cover shipping back. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Extremely nasty customer service. At first they are very nice and friendly because they want your money period! But as soon as ask them something they don’t like they will turn around 180 degrees. Their style of business is similar to corrupt Russian style business. Horrible return policy. Be sure you are ordering a product that you 100% know is right for you or will work with your pool. They will take it back ( at your shipping expense ) but will tell you it is not eligible for refund. Similar to some of the other reviews that have posted, I had a bad experience. I ordered an rebuild kit for my pool cleaner. Once I received it I put in all of the new components. Some of the components didnt fit at all and others worked worse than the old components that I was trying to replace. I asked for a refund and was told that I must have installed them wrong. Its pretty straightforward. The pool cleaner works decent with my old components, and works worse with the new components that were sent. Its not rocket science. So I insisted on a refund and was told that I would not be able to receive a refund because I had opened and installed the components. How else would I know that the parts were bad? After some haggling they accepted the return but I was supposed to be responsible for return shipping and there would be a 20% restocking fee. No. Those terms apply if I just decide that I dont want the parts anymore for no good reason. The seller is responsible for all fees for defective product.I read in some reviews that the seller is blocking IP addresses of people that complain, so I checked, and sure enough, my IP address is blocked. Not sure why, I wont ever go back, but ok.Anyway, buyer beware. This place is bad news.

I have placed two orders with Best Pool Supply and both were accurate as per order and packaged in a safe protective manner. The first order placed was a mistake that had nothing to do with Best Pool Supply. I contacted them after hours on a Saturday and they issued me an RMA immediately. Monday morning I contacted them via message that I wanted to pay for overnight delivery. Within five minutes I received a phone call explaining how to place my order with the special shipping that I had requested. As far as my return goes, I fully understand that it is my responsibility to cover the costs as the mistake was on my end.As for the whining post on the BBB site, you made the mistake and need to pay to return it. Why should a business absorb the fees you incurred when it was your mistake? Also, charging 20% restocking fee is not uncommon nor unheard of. Youre only out what your mistake added up to. Shipping was very quick through USPS but when I opened the package I noticed that the product was not in its original box and the tapes had been opened. It arrived, and the bottle looked different (not opaque) and the seal wasnt attached. Those things may not be a problem, but they prompted me to smell the product. It smelled of Pepto Bismol, which I thought was weird. Due to the 3 differences from the normal product, I called the manufacturer, and they assured me that the product should be odorless.I called to return the product, and alert them to the potential issue (advising to smell the product when they get it, and not resell it). He started getting upset and nasty on the phone and things declined. Its only $45. I would be more upset if it was more. But the guy on the phone yelled at me and didnt back up his product. I highly recommend Best Pool Shop! I needed to replace the keypad on my older Pentair Intelliflo variable speed controller because the LCD screen burned out, but the keypad itself wasnt sold separately, the old larger keypad assembly was no longer available and an entire new controller would cost thousands. I found info on the internet that the newer available Intelliflo 2 keypad assembly would work, just had to remove the new keypad from the new housing, re-mount it in the old housing, re-use the old connector and re-label 3 keys. Best Pool Shop had the best available delivered price, which included free shipping. I was a bit concerned that shipping from CA to FL would take awhile, as Id paid no extra shipping cost. I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and within 2 hours Best Pool had submitted the part to USPS to be delivered Priority Mail. I received the part the next Wednesday, followed the process above and my old controller now works as it should. I was impressed not just by Best Pools low price, but their fast service and clear communication throughout the process. They exceeded my expectations and I will definitely consider them for future pool needs.

Worst customer service I have ever received from a company. I ordered a replacement part. I had to push the end of the part through a hole and the end piece snapped off as I pushed it through. I called to reorder. I had planned to pay to place a new order to replace it. All I did was ask a question whether or not the part could have been defective. I have never had one break before. I wasnt upset or anything. I figured I would have to pay for another one. I just wanted his expert opinion. He went in to a tirade and told me to order it from another company if I wanted to replace the part. I am happy to give my business to companies that will treat customers right. I will even pay more for a product if I am treated right. This company might be fine as long as everything goes well with your product or shipment but beware if there are any issues. I will never order parts from this company again. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Never purchase anything from here! Dishonest company! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I ordered a back up valve for a Polaris 380. When I received the valve, it was all scratched up but intact. Wasnt worried about the scratches as long as it worked. I tried using it, valve will not back the sweep up from the stairs. I contacted costumer service, they emailed return label. I returned. Havent heard from them, so I emailed asking when I should expect my replacement. Customer service responded with a nasty email, saying I returned another part not the one shipped, which is nonsense. The part is $47, I dont have time to waste over $47. Now, I have to call my bank, see what type of refund they can recover.

It was a new part and matched my old one perfectly. So, I purchased a Pentair Intellibrite Color Sync Controller online from the Best Pool Shop. The product I received was used and broken. Due to the holidays, when my electrician came to install the controller and I discovered this it was 32 days after purchasing. Upon emailing the Best Pool Shop their reply was to contact Pentair and it would be under warranty and they would send me a new one. Really. What a shameful business practice to have Pentair cover the cost of their selling me this broken product that is worth nothing. This is not a reputable company. I ordered a set of Hayward filter cartridges from Best pools on Amazon. The description & specs advertised clearly stated the manufacturer was Hayward. When I received the filters, they were made by Unicel - a replacement brand. I contacted the seller to let them know I did not receive the product ordered. They had put an obscure part # at the end of the description which they felt I should have known was not a Hayward part! Their response was if you don’t like them return them! When processing the return, they did not pay return shipping. I had to. Then when they received them, they claimed the box was damaged, so they only gave me a partial refund! They were returned in exactly the same condition that I received them. I filed a claim through Amazon & was promptly refunded my shipping cost & the balance of my refund.Best Pools has deceptive & misleading advertising. Product arrived damaged and unusable. Plastic part was sent in a bubble wrap envelope that was crushed. Called customer support several times -- just heard clicking sounds -- no answer.
