So their is a sign that say “ covered parking “ and has Bestbuy Amc and some other business I don’t remember. B warned for Best Buy the back door seems to be shut on this Sunday. So you have to walk around or through mall like hallway of the amc .As far as the Best Buy it is also a smaller Best Buy in Normal

Ive always had a decent experience at this location, but yesterday blew me away. I was looking for a particular calculator that was in low stock in most places, and I talked to Christina at the front help desk to see if I could find it by the end of the day. She was immediately friendly and warm. She looked up the item at the store, told me that it wasnt in stock there but gave me the other Best Buy locations where it was in stock, and even called the closest store to do a physical inventory check to make sure it was actually present. I wanted to order it and make sure that it wouldnt happen to be sold by the time I got there, so she called over another employee named Victoria to help me with the order. Victoria was super sweet and friendly as well, and even complimented my voice out of the blue! We placed an order at one of the closest stores, and I was able to pick it up without a hitch. Overall, a fantastic customer service experience.

Not worth 1 star. The manager is sitting at the front and too busy to say hello much less answer a question or provide customer service. Simply telling a customer over there under the blue sign, if we even have it!!!! THEN he continues to sit watching me as I walk in circles!!! Do not waste your time or money on this location. The only saving grace was the employee that finally helped me! Maybe replace the manager thats sitting, too busy, rude, etc. I cant imagine how he treats others! How would he have treated my elderly mother??? When I left, NOT A SINGLE WORD, not a goodbye, thank you, NOTHING! Horrible experience!

We recently purchased 3 large TVs, the staff at the store were very helpful. Kennan and Matt (from the geek squad) did a great job installing the TVs. They were very careful to mount the TVs correctly and with bringing things in and out of our home. They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwords. We highly recommend them.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Went there to return an item the last day for return was passed by 3 days after talking to customer service on the phone they told me it’s okay but you get store credit I told them I was fine with that the store manager said they can’t do it and asked where were you for the last when the return was eligible even they should have not asked me this question, next day I went to El Cajon Best Buy they didn’t ask me why I was late to return it and gave me store credit without interrogation El Cajon branch gets 5 ⭐️

Bought KitchenAid dishwasher here about 2 years ago. This replaced our 25 year old unit that had ZERO issues over its lifetime. About 6 months after installation, we noticed black mold / mildew growing around the black rubber seal on bottom of the unit. The black seal makes it very difficult to see the mold!!?? We have now cleaned the unit with vinegar & baking soda several times but the mold always returns. Did not have this issue in over 20 years with previous KitchenAid dishwasher. Very disappointed in KitchenAid & Best Buy for making / selling such an obviously flawed appliance.

Typical Best Buy. It’s one of those companies that you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. Friendly staff at this location. Greeted as walked into the building. Asked if needed help. Was shown the area I needed to go and also answered any questions I had in a manner that I could understand. I’m not the best with technology. Check out was fast and easy, (which make a change from my local store). Receipt checked at on the way out which was totally fine. I would make this my local store if I could but it’s in another state.

God forbid you have to work with the guy named Andrew on the nerd squad here. I was 6 minutes late to an appointment because I had never been to this god forsaken mall and drove all the way from East County because this was the quickest appointment I could make to fix my phone and it needed to happen ASAP because I need it for work. I was not informed that if I am 5 minutes late they would cancel my appointment, and now Im up a creek and the manager Andrew was even less helpful. Screw this Best Buy, do yourself a favor and never come here.

I got some gift cards for Christmas presents for people out of city. My aunt went to use it at the restaurant and there were no funds on it! She was embarrassed and I was embarrassed that she had to go through that with what I gave her. It caused a lot of unnecessary drama in the family. I called Best Buy and was told my only option is to have her mail it to me so I can go back to the darn store to exchange it and then mail it back to her. Wth. Oh and I have a window to get this done in, like it was my fault. I am not pleased. Not giving 1 star because all the other gifts seem to have been delivered and have no issues... so far...

Best Buy does not take responsibility for its deliveries. They outsource to UPS. I received 3 notifications of delivery. The first day was sometime between noon and 11pm - no show. Next day sometime between noon and 9pm no show, today sometime between noon and 5pm still no show, now it sometime between now and 9pm... called the store where I purchased. No help just apologizes. Got it your sorry... so I’m i. All i want to know is when my packages are going to show up.

Awesome! I love Best Buy and the Geek Squad. I bought a Microsoft surface last January and had issues with the mouse pad and Geek Squad protection plan. It was sent out and returned not fixed-they didnt hesitate to give me store credit so I could replace it. The Geek Squad guy was lovely and the sales person awesome! If anyone working for Best Buy who has any control over customer service reads this, please understand that your employees working in store do not want to help your customers. It is Sunday Jan 3 at 11am so your staff today is really rude, like unbelievable. They are annoyed, flippant, and lazy. Furthermore, when calling Best Buy on the phone, hold times to talk to someone at this store over an hour.

Had a very bad experience with robotic “Geek squad” people who didn’t want to return a Tv which was broken. I dealt with the TV gently and it was the second Tv I tried from 2 left and both were broken. The second Tv they accused me of breaking and didn’t want to return it. Horrible customer service. I’ve owned TV’s my whole life and I’m extremely gentle with them.

This store is closing March 4th. They are clearing out the inventory and store, there isn’t much left. Not sure the exact reasoning why they are closing but it’s sad to see it go. There were deals to be had but the discounts aren’t that amazing, but you never know, you might find a gem.

I appreciated their help and kindness with exchanging my headphones that broke since I had the insurance thankfully. I recommend it because if anything happens you get it replaced for free or if the item is discontinued then you can apply the credit to a new item.

Its a good place to compare some TVs, but not all unfortunately. Each brand has their own station and rep, and they play their own demo. Only select models play the Best Buy video where you can compare apples to apples. Also, staff is very helpful. We probably met half the store employees asking if we needed help.

They were incredibly unhelpful and did not know what they were doing at all. I bought a brand new expensive phone and they kind of stopped caring after I bought it. One guy was very nice and tried to help me get the data off my phone. Then he had to clock out, and Liliane or whatever her name is immediately abandoned me after he left. I sat in Best Buy literally crying, with the employees purposefully ignoring me. I eventually figured it out how to do it myself via Google. They were able to get my data off my dead untouchable phone 4 years ago with a program, so why not now? Makes no sense. Do not waste your time coming here.

What an awesome experience! Im a Best buy regular but this was the first time I went to the La Jolla store and I think it will be the only store I visit from now on! What an awesome staff, extremely friendly, overly helpful and they truly enjoyed helping me achieve what I needed to achieve, even though halfway through I was ready to throw in the towel, they wanted to make sure we got it figured out so that I would be a happy camper! Never visited this one in La Jolla - cant say it was easy to find - only time Ive been to a location where it wasnt the obvious anchor of the property - but when we did find it, it had what we were looking for and the sales associate was helpful. I do not recommend La Jolla. Their so-called store manager Cameron is one of the grumpiest rudest managers on the face of the planet. I had nothing wrong, but I did had the unfortunate experience of dealing with him on a purchase and a return. No issues on either or, however his energy is the worst on the face of the planet. He offers no assistance to customers, he never says a word, when he does, it’s sarcastic, rude, and condescending. He likes to think he’s above everyone. With that said, I do not like going to a store nor do I support a company who continues to support and hire people who offered no assistance at all and actually make the buying experience worse for the customer. Worst service ever! Long story short; I ordered some wireless headphones for my brothers birthday. I am in Phoenix so I ordered online so he could pick up local. Not only did they mess up the order but they were rude and unhelpful. I was on the phone for over an hour, the manager wouldnt even talk to me. He hung up the phone since he could not provide a solution. My brothers wife was waiting there for over an hour and she ended up paying for item. WORSE customer service I have EVER received in my life!! Not only are their prices high but they cant even help out on something they messed up and that I paid for?? WOW. Under no circumstance would I recommend this store. Very ver y disappointed.

Worst experience! Never buy any electronics from them. Bought a monitor, went home opened and it was cracked which I didn’t notice until they showed me. They wouldn’t take it back. Had a problem with a broken open box tv purchase.I was super frustrated and the manager initially told me there was nothing he could do.But he let me explain my side and then walked away to consult some other managers.Ended up refunding my $ (so I could buy another tv) with zero attitude. Hi I came here early to purchase iPhone screen protection with a gift card the first girl I asked her, her name Kenya to do the purchase and she didn’t know how to use the gift card and asked me for the PIN number I told her the PIN number its written in the back she said that’s not the same number, I took the gift card to lady her name Amanda she was very kool and did the purchase in 5 second after the first girl told me to call the customer service and gave me a hard time with bad attitude. I would not recommend buying through Amazon if you have any doubts about whether you will cancel the order or return the tv. If you do, be prepared for neither Amazon nor Best Buy to take any responsibility if you dont receive your money back. To find out more, read on...I bought this item and arranged to pick it up that day at this Best Buy. I went to the store and confirmed the item was there for pick up with their customer service. Despite the fact that the documented payment information was verifiably mine, and that I had ID to prove it, Best Buys policy (TM) requires the named Amazon account holder to be present.In my case, for legacy reasons having to do with purchasing college textbooks through Amazon, the prime holder account is under Moms name. On account of this fiasco, I decided to try and cancel the order. Apparently this prosaic option is not available to the unwary buyer who shops through Amazons prestiged marketplace and trusts that customer experience would be a priority between two wealthy corporations. *Cancellation is not even available in your Amazon order history if you opt to pick up your tv from Best Buy*. Apparently, your only option is to wait and hope your money is returned to you. In the case of Best Buy and Amazon, apparently it is too much to ask that they communicate enough for Amazon to have inventory and supply chain related information available for a customer.Yesterday, Amazon customer service issued an email to Best Buy asking them to refund my order. This morning, I received a message through marketplace with the nonsensical reply that the TV was being shipped and that Id have to wait until the returned item had been received. Best Buy did not provide any information as to why a package needs to be shipped or any tracking information about that shipment. Amazon claims to have no idea where the package is, despite the fact that it is probably still just sitting in stock at the Best Buy store since they never released the package to me, and since I never asked that the package be shipped.Meanwhile, I the unfortunate buyer am informed in my Amazon order history that I am responsible for slapping a return label on the box and that I will be refunded once the item is received. As I discussed on the call with Amazon customer service yesterday, they have records that I never received the TV. I called Amazon customer service again today, twice, and asked them to please, please, just refund me my money, and tried to make the argument that the customer experience should not be to have to wait in limbo while the information he is receiving doesnt make any sense. Amazon wont even file a claim against the seller until the supposed shipment date has passed, and is just taking Best Buys word for it over mine that there is any shipping happening. Amazon is also content with sending confusing and unreliable information to me as a customer. Here, my order history is telling me that my return request has been accepted but that I am responsible for shipping the package that I dont have in order to get my money back. In an attempt to alleviate this confusion, all I have ascertained from the hour I wasted with Amazons customer service is that neither I nor Amazon have access to any shipment information, that they are just as confused as I am, and that they cant do anything for me.Now, certainly, I might end up getting my money back in a week or two. But Amazon and Best Buy really should have better communication so that customers have reliable, sensible information about what is happening. But how do I know this now? As a customer, I should have my refund issued in a prompt manner should I decide to cancel a transaction through the marketplace. If I dont understand why my refund is not being processed, customer service should know what is happening and be able to explain it to me.

Bought a $1,200 laptop (DELL) with Geek Squad coverage for a year. We set it up about 20 days after we bought it. 2 days later, it lost its WiFi connection (like the Wifi functionality is gone all together). Called GeekSquad. they couldnt fix it. Took it back to Best Buy today and they need to keep it for 3-4 weeks. WHAT??? For the best buy store in la jolla: thanks to the staff who make an effort to serve the customer by welcoming you when you enter and offering help if you need it, especially to the person who attended us named CHRIS. Not being able to find the marked price of a product quickly, he assisted us helping us to try to help us and also offered us a good discount due to the inconvenience, also he did not let us load the product because it was very heavy and he did take it to the car even it was raining very helpful . Their 1 hour pickup is complete bs.I ordered a TV, and about an hour later (as stated on their website) I headed to the store.I arrived 1 hr and 15 minutes after placing the order.They told me it wont be ready till I receive the confirmation email.I waited there another hour and 1/2 before I got the ready for pickup email (3 hours after placing the order)And it took them yet another 30 minutes before I was driving away.3 1/2 hours //= 1 hour pickup.

I would say that all employees there that Ive come in contact with are super friendly and eager to help out with just about anything which is a Plus for sure. Ive only had two overall experiences (out of sooo many visits) that I really have found frustrating. One being that when buying a Cell phone, both cheaper and higher priced, I have been extremely dissatisfied in the fact that they are priced at a new contract price, so when buying a new phone on the spot from Best buy you really dont know how much youre about to pay when continuing an existing plan because the shelved price is for New Customers to the company (typically). My other thing is that I had an issue with the operation of my Older Phone (purchased directly from my Phones carrier) and eventually got super frustrated after Cracking the screen of it so decided to instantly purchase a new one from Best Buy so I wouldnt have to deal with it any longer. I bought the same phone three times in a week both online and in store because all 3 did not charge or hold a full battery for even past an hour. So I ended up just going to my phone company and buying one there.

I am sure not all the staff is the same but the last time i was there the customer service desk staff was rude beyond measure I will never go back to this specific store due to the lack of good customer service and the sorinkle of rudeness.No matter how many times I give this store a chance, the experience gets worse! Employees are careless and need a workshop on CS.I walked in to about 4 employees huddled talking none of them care to acknowledge me until I walked directly to them and asked them about what I was looking for. None of them cared to show me where the items were at, one of them pointed over there and later i had to find another employee to inquire about an item which she had an answer that had nothing to do with what I had asked. A sales associate helped me pick out an item that they said would work with my birthday coupon. When I went to checkout, it did not apply to my purchase and the associate would not honor it. I left and didnt purchase anything. Very disappointing, barely any products in store and they wouldnt help me out for 10%. Not worth even trying to use my coupon for my birthday day.

Had to return something, which was quick and easy. But for their electronic recycling now they want to know everything about you. Ridiculous. Why do they need my address to recycle electronics? Kind of invasive. Best Buy has wasted my time for the last time. I typically dont write a bad review, but we had a pretty poor experience here. We bought an open box dryer that was tested, and confirmed to work per SA, but arrived to us DOA. We went without laundry for 2 weeks, STILL waiting for the repair guy to come out and take a look at the dryer.We may just return it and get a new one. NOT from best buy.

Professional Mobile employees & very helpful!When entering & exiting from the front store entrance, just to walk across to the parking lot, I was almost hit twice by two different cars.The problem is after observing from a distance, almost every vehicle was exceeding the posted speed limit, in a crosswalk no less.Best Buy Mobile staff is great but the drivers outside, need to slow down!Property management team, Get to it!!

Some staff members are not really interested in selling you products, will not try to understand your requirements and will tell you very generic details about devices.Nevertheless, to me, the quality of devices is unquestionable. I havent had any issue with any of my purchases from this place.So, if you know your stuff and precise features you want, youll find it here. Couldnt be happier about my visit today with Geek Squad. Dealt with Eric and he was fantastic for 3 reasons:1. He asked great questions about my laptop issue and within 15 minutes I had 3 solutions to try that I had not been able to find on my own.2. He explained what was going on without making me feel stupid, even though some of his suggestions were probably pretty obvious to anyone who works with computers.3. While dealing with me, another customer came in without an appointment. Her problem required a home visit and that made her pretty angry. She started cussing out Eric and being a total jerk. This is the last time I come here type of stuff. Eric was respectful and helpful throughout. Handled it way better than I would have never raising his voice or getting angry.Give Eric a raise pls. I bought a $300 noise cancellation phone last month before my two and half week vacation. The phone had high pitch background sound when I turn on noise cancelation mode on airplane. So I packeged it well and visited Best Buy customer service to ask for exchange. They said too bad it past the 15 day refund or exchange period of time. However, there was no way I could return when I was abroad. They said that was my problem, not theirs. I do not think I will ever buy another electronic device from Best Buy anymore. At the time I purchased it, the same item was $30 dollar cheaper and they had better return policy. I was just lazy, so went to Best Buy store instead. Will not make the same mistakes ever again.

I couldnt possibly be less happy with this location. God awful customer service and incompetent technicians make this place wholly unsalvageable. I was lied to regularly by the managers and when confronted for their abhorrent behavior they were unrepentant and rude. Every product I have bought here has broken immediately, and I have had enormous issues getting these people to honor even the most basic terms of their warranty. Buying something here is like casting a vote to preserve the cesspool of laziness, incompetence and maliciousness that is this particular location. If you must shop at best buy, please do yourself a favor and visit another location. Sadly, we have been coming here for years but it seems the management has changed and in light of how many problems we have had at this location in recent years, I cannot recommend this store to anybody.

Bought three Samsung tablets for my family during a recent sale with one of them no longer turning on after 3 weeks of minimal use. Attempted to exchange it at this location and was basically accused of damaging the charging port even though it looks brand new and exactly the same as the two other working tablets. We even showed them the store display tablet with an identical appearing charging port, but these employees/Geek squad knew without a doubt that we had damaged the charging port. We went to another location and it was quickly found that there was a corrupted software file on the OS and needed a hard reboot. There was definitely nothing wrong with the charging port. This entire ordeal has made me really disgusted and honestly could have been figured out at the first Best Buy if they were actually focused on helping customers.I can honestly say all of the other negative reviews are correct. This location is full of all the failed abortions of San Diego and I have never run into such a large group of rude and incompetent people. It should never automatically be the customers fault and I honestly hope this location is shutdown. The only advantage Best Buy has ever had was convenience and not waiting for shipping from an online retailer, but I will honestly be never shopping at any Best Buy ever again.

I have spent over $1000.00 on several items there and one thing I had to learn the hard way is that the return policy is not and miss.For instance, the espresso machine broke after 4 months and I tried to bring it back. They said I needed to schedule an appointment so they set it up for 4:40 the same day. This place ia minimally stocked, under... renovation or remodeling or something. Can barely tell where you should go to pay for your goods. I like to browse the latest technology items, including cameras, casting tools, gaming, and pcs. There are a lot of display areas that are empty or incomplete, or empty shelves greet you at every turn. I had previously rated this a four star location, but either management is weak, staffing is short, or a combination of the two.

Horrible experience. We went to buy a 4K TV; we knew what brand and model we wanted. The sales person was OK at first but started getting chippy after we didnt want to buy add-on equipment to improve sound quality (we already had moved up to a TV costing about $400 more than our original target, because the more expensive one was apparently better).When we got home and was sent a receipt via email, we found some major discrepancies with what we had agreed to buy and what they were going to sell us (delivery was delayed a few days).We called the 800 number to get the incorrect items and charges changed. We were told that there was no way to do that without going back to the store. We then said we wanted to cancel the entire order. We were told that it wasnt possible.By law in this state (California) all consumers have the right to cancel an order; this order was only 2 hours old!We had to raise the roof to get the order cancelled. Never again. Well spend our $1500 somewhere else.Happy ending! Turns out the same set is $100 cheaper elsewhere.

I have been a customer of Best Buy/Geek squad located on La Jolla Village Square for a long time. My experience with Geeksquad has been very mixed as sometimes the technicians were very knowledgeable and other times all they wanted to do was to get rid of the customers as fast as the could and that is when there are no customers waiting in line.I have dealt with one technician at least two or tree time. While I have had a somewhat average experience at this Best Buy, my recent experience in this store chenged my opinion immensely...I came in to have my 2 year old Vizio tv repaired but they instead exchanhed it for a new one. After shopping for a new one, the associate assured me that the old wall mount would work for my new tv, he was wrong. After calling the next day and informing them that the associate had misinformed me they said to come in and they would get me the right mount and take a bit off the price, sounds good, right? Nope. I came in, told them the rv I had bought, the associate, and even the Sony rep himself, looked at the tv, looked at the specs and picked the right mount for me. I got it home, mounted the mount itself to my wall (had to make new holes in my wall for it) then went to put the brackets on my tv..this mount that was pickes out by 2 professionals blocked the hdmi ports necessary to even use the tv. I came back in and told yet another associate this problem and he informed me that this model was for OLDER model tvs, not the newer tv that I bought then walked me back to the tv mounts, pointing out the one I actually needed, a $200 tv mount. I returned both my tv and the mount. This shows the people at this store care more about pushing products on you over actually listening to what the customer wants. I will never step foot in this Best Buy again.

I bought the phone at the Apple Store but had to return the Belkin tempered glass screw protector because it was a poor fit. Cody recommended the Zag Glass HD+ and installed it perfectly. Sometimes I get a helpful staff....and sometimes I dont. But I appreciate how soon they ask if they can be of assistance. The layout of the store makes it hard to find things.

Had purchased a chrome book and was not pleased with it performance so I returned it within the 14 day return period which at that time the money was refunded back to my debit card the employee advised me the transaction would be immediate well six days later the money was finally posted back to my card they must make changes to this policy not everyone is a millionaire

Do not come here !! Horrible staff and very rude management team. Can not repair your computer if their life depended in it and will not work to solve any problem you may have.
