The store manager Diego is literally the most smug guy I’ve ever met. I was trying to return a monitor because a red line on the left side of my screen appeared so I wanted to exchange it. I was still under the return exchange period but Diego said because I damaged the screen he couldn’t exchange it. I repeatedly told him I didn’t damage the screen but he told me it didn’t matter since it looked damage he couldn’t take it back, this monitor cost almost 2 thousand dollars after taking it out of the box and getting the screen smugged with finger prints I had to carry it out. I noticed as I was leaving Diego gave me a smirk. The manager is utterly useless all he does is hangout in front of the store laughing with other employees.Update- After what felt like a million phone calls I was told to just take it to a different store I chose the lake forest location and the experience was so much better the staff really wanted to help me and they got my exchange to go through. When I had told them what I went through at the Mission Viejo location they were shocked to know how I was treated and said at the minimum to get an exchange for the same product, they said being a Best Buy plus member should have helped in my favor. I never wanted a refund I love this monitor but having defects sometimes on products is just sometimes unavoidable. Thank you Lake forest Best Buy I think moving forward I’ll be doing all my shopping there from now on.

Appalling customer service after product was purchased (and not received 8+ days past when it was promised). There is no tracking (if it isnt lost, it will surely be damaged being transported around for 10+ days) and the store does not answer the phone. The call center recommend I waste more of my time going down there to speak with someone about this. I can see why all the big boxes are going out. You guys do not deserve to stay in business and I am sure it wont be long before you follow the others like and more vacant buildings plague our city!

Good experience. My wife needed a new computer to work from home, the iMac (since 2015) was still good, but not very compatible with her work’s software.We went online on BestBuy, compared a few all-in-one computers, we decided to get one of them (HP). Ordered online, the order was ready in less than one hour at this location in Mission Viejo.This was a Tuesday afternoon (Around 5 pm), the store was empty, only had a very few customers so the pick up was very quick. Showed the email confirmation bar code, and it was done. In and out in less than 15 minutes.It was a very good experience overall. Great value for what we got. Lots of options.

I feel sorry for the staff. In researching appliances, I confirmed with employees here that in July they are getting pay cuts to keep their jobs, as reported in the trades. Shades of Circuit City not long before they closed.

It’s amazing how bad customer service has become at this Best Buy. We had ordered a laptop online and went to pick it up. Saleswoman barely helped us and when it was time to make the trade my husband went to grab his computer while I was waiting for him to come back a few employees walked through and didn’t even acknowledge the customers that were waiting till I said something. The girl that was waiting to do the trade in ended up helping someone else, meanwhile employees would walk through and not even stop to help. When my husband came back we waited another 15 minutes for her to help us, and she somehow canceled the order when it was time for us to do the trade in and could not figure out what she did wrong. My husband lost his patience and walked out without getting his new laptop. We were there for 40 minutes when it should have taken tops 15 minutes. Meanwhile it wasn’t busy and we could see employees walking around and chatting.

FYI. The new AI phones are coming out. Best Buy is rocking the new computers and phones with the new AI technology. This is going to instantly obsolete everything we have.The only place left to check out multiple electronics from multiple manufacturers for this area. With electronics I like to a casually see what is available and browse the different manufacturers and choose what suits me the best. Thus I like this place. Best part is the service desk.

Friendly and helpful staff. Gave us honest and good advice about TVs and speakers. (We ended up ordering our TV online from Best Buy, but the store staff really helped us narrow down our choices when we visited in store... We just needed more time before pulling the trigger.) Thanks for the help!

This place is the most stupid place ever. I would never recommend for anyone to go to Best Buy. The worst costumer service ever. I was supposed to get a gift card because they delivered my my fridge last year and went to the wrong address. Then they said they cant come back to deliver it. I had to reschedule again and stated that I wasnt home. Again reschedule. They informed me I was going to get a gift card. They send the gift card to the wrong address. Its been sixintha now and waiting for that gift card. Please do not go to this store

Last evening at 7:00 PM, I went to Best Buy to pick up my online order. There were four people standing in front of the door, chatting and laughing loudly, but nobody came to assist me. I stood in the pickup area, completely ignored. The manager, a young man, was the worst of all. He ignored customer questions, and when talking to customers, he never made eye contact. It’s perplexing how Best Buy employs so many staff members who just stand around chatting instead of assisting customers. This level of service makes me question the future of Best Buy if they don’t address what’s happening in their stores.

Bought a Samsung washer and dryer good price, but when the washer and dryer were delivered, the dryer was damaged, and the pedestals were the wrong color. Also, the delivery company sent an email the night before saying, Please be home 7am to 7pm ruined my whole day and now I have to it all over again for my dryer.Update second delivery and dryer came out damaged again Best Buy still provides no help.
