It is June 18, 2024. @ 5:17 pm. I brought my problematic Samsung mobile phone into the same best buy that I bought it from. I approached the same middle of the store cell phone counter that I bought my Samsung mobile from and asked the guy wearing a gray Samsung long sleeve hoody. If he could help me with my phone. He rudely said to mewe dont charge customer phones. Which is a total lie. I saw him charging another customer phone. Zero stars for poor customer service experience. A male employee wearing a gray Samsung long sleeved hoodie saying to a Samsung mobile phone customer we dont charge customer phones. Is the epitome of terrible customer service. Shame on sansung and best buy.

Avoid Best Buy - Horrible Service and Useless Protection PlanI have had the most frustrating experience with Best Buy. The employees are unhelpful and rude, and the customer service is downright terrible. The so-called protection plan is an absolute scam. Despite paying extra for this plan, when it came time to replace a defective item, I received no support. I was given the runaround and ultimately told they couldnt do anything. Walking into the store was a complete waste of time.Its no surprise that Best Buy will be shutting down their stores in 2025. Do yourself a favor and stop shopping there now. Amazon offers a much better experience. Their guarantee is reliable, and the process is straightforward. Save yourself the hassle and choose Amazon instead.

Came here to get my cracked screen repaired and was told it wasn’t cracked enough. Apple disagreed. I stopped by the appliance section to ask an associates some questions about a washing machine I’ve been looking into. Their disinterest in helping me was almost comical. When I asked about the size of washing machine neither of the associates knew. I asked for a ballpark of how big the box it came in was. Still no idea. I pointed at some nearby objects for reference. Still no clue. I am not confident they would have had a definitive answer had I asked if the machine were smaller or larger than a house. They confirmed the washer was in stock and that it’s a fairly popular item. Rather than offering to show me the box or even just go look at it in order to answer my question they suggested I see if Home Depot has a floor model (they don’t, fwiw).Overall, I would say this location is great for anyone who dreads having to deal with pushy sales people. This location also makes great fodder for the creative writer with a sense of humor.

Extremely poor customer service this morning for a pickup order. They didn’t provide any solutions and I ended up canceling my order. The manager was extremely rude and wouldn’t even let me tell her what the issue was. They couldn’t have cared less. I’ve always liked Best Buy but after this experience I will gladly give my business to another store that actually cares about their customers.

Had some questions and needed help. A helpful blue shirt named Josh was not only able to help me, but another customer at the same time as we asked him about antennas. But you have to register and enter a credit card number etc etc. I dont want the darn thing I was going to give it to the grand kids....what a pain. Best Buy is a great resource for electronics. If you need that phone cable or protector. A new router, television, or stereo system. They have most of what I need all the time in close proximity to the house. Loving Best Buy for the convenience and knowledgeable staff. Fun store to checkout Id one is in your locale.

Worst experience ever! I was trying to buy Rode Mic + Pro for my camera and Best Buy website showed multiple stores had it in stock. I even called customer service to make sure it was in stock before I drove to a Best Buy an hour away. I got to the location and they told me they didnt have it and advised me to drive to another Best Buy, I drove to the other Best buy that showed they had the mic in stock and they didnt have it either. Then they told me to go back to the other Best Buy I had originally came from because they had it in stock also. I told them I had just came from there and that I would go back there again if someone could actually make sure the physical product was at store, they ended up saying that they couldnt find it. Manager Richard at West LA location actually tried to find this mic for me by calling peers at other Best Buy locations where mic showed available and at the end confirmed that they didnt actually have mic physically there either. At this point I wont be able to record a project that I scheduled to record tomorrow, Im beyond disappointed with Best Buy at this point.

I place an order online, picked it up the next day and had to wait about 5 minutes at the register for someone to grab my order and for me to pay for it. Parking is easy and Ive bought appliances there in the past and the sales people have been nice in the appliance apartment.

Terrible experience with Bestbuy website. Item says that it is in stock, when it is not carried in store. I went to different locations, driving close to 2 hours away from home only to be told in person that item was not in stock. I called the back office call center that confirmed item physically at location and was unable to purchase item when I arrived. I drove to Montebello to West Hollywood to lastly West LA, where I kept being told by the associates in each of these locations that the item was in stock at each of these locations. When I was at West LA, I was then told that West Hollywood carried item. I let the associate know that I had just came from that location which told me that this location had the item. This is very unprofessional of Bestbuy for not keeping inventory information up-to-date. This experience was a huge disappointment and tremendous inconvenience.

Purchased item A and item B both on 12/29/2023 for next day delivery. Item A got delivered no problem! Item B changed to delayed instead. The holiday weekend would get in the way of a next day delivery if rescheduled. The issue arose on 1/2/2024 as the delivery date now changed to 1/13/2024. The item was still available to purchase with next day delivery according to the website. I had to chat with two different agents online because the first was useless and said nothing could be done since the price had increased since the day of purchase. The second agent recommended i purchase instore instead, even though the item was still available for next day delivery. After unnecessary back and forward, the agent finally came to their senses and asked a supervisor if they could price match and I repurchase the exact same item. Well I repurchased the item for delivery 1/6/2024. So now I had Item B delayed with delivery date of 1/13/2024, and Item C with delivery of 1/6/2024. Well MAGICALLY, both item B and C now showed out for delivery on 1/3/2024. To my surprise only the replacement (Item C) was delivered via FedEx. Item be was marked delivered but no where to be found! I gave it until 1/6/2024 just incase. I requested a refund for Item B, well by 1/7/2024 I received notification that my REPLACEMENT was on its way but DELAYED! Well it has been none stop chatting with agents, each more incompetent than the previous from then until today. They all have a different story of how the refund process works. I find it to be an embarrassment what Best Buy considers customer service. It is almost a month not and I do not have the original item in hand or my money. How much longer do I need to wait? I need resolution immediately! $661.99 can not just be floating around with no explanation to me. I have since decided to return item C as well as I do not want any more business with Best Buy at this point until this is resolved!

The rating is for customer service. Through the Best Buy app I tracked down the last of a specific InstaPot air fryer I wanted. When I arrived at the store, a customer service rep named Love hustled around the floor to find the last box but no luck. Another colleague jumped in to help, and within seconds tracked down my erstwhile air fryer. Many thanks to Love and the Best Buy staff for their diligence.

I am a BestBuy total tech member & I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 12 years. This is the first time I’ve experienced such atrocious customer service in BestBuy. I went to return an open box video game. The agent said, it’s not returnable. I showed her the app where it lets me return it as open box. She called her supervisor mr. Carlos Chavez (senior repair agent) & we had basically the same conversation. I asked him where does it state I can’t return it & he said in the website & proceeded to walk away. I told him not to walk away from the conversation & he said he already did. I walk in front of the counter to ask him to stay & he pointed finger at me & said to step outside (which I clearly was & nowhere near his “territory”). Asked his name & he simply threw his card on the table & walked away.He clearly isn’t a supervisor & doesn’t have any customer service skills. Totally unacceptable & I’ll see the end of this issue. I’ll reach out to the corporate & if not resolved, they’ll hear from my lawyer.

Single ladies- do you miss the feeling of being ignored by your partner when a football game is on? If so, then I have the thing for you...Best Buy in the West Hollywood Gateway location. Today I was attempting to troubleshoot issues with office computers, and my needs would not deter most of the computer staff from avoiding eye contact or simply ignoring customers so they could watch Travis Swift score a touchdown. I had to come back a second time to make an exchange, because the first product sold to me was wrong and I was delighted to note that I was equally as insignificant when the Lions were playing the 49ers. Try it yourself- its great, because you can be ignored by a whole staff and not just one person.

I cant believe that this best buy give you false advertising thats the case that I was going to buy because it says $14.99 but when I got to the register it was saying that it was $28.99 the cashier didnt know how to give costumer service, and I explained him that there was more cases where it says $14.99. He didnt bother to go check or to moved it. Just with his reaction it was clear that employees of Best buy likes to give false advertising. I always had come to this best buy but after today, it disappointed me.

I just went to buy a high-end MacBook Pro, and I was mistreated by the girl on the Apple Section. The attendant even let me read the product box. Hey so this location is pretty big and has decent parking so the 4 stars is really just because of the limited options. I went in to look for an iphone stabilizer and they only had 3 very poor options. you would think best buy would have more options for any sort of technology. They recommend i go to a camera store which i thought was funny but i guess that means best buy does not have good camera stuff so if your looking for that def not the spot for you. The guy who helped us was decently nice and was kind enough to recommend the new spot so i appreciated that very much. The layout is a bit confusing at this location but its high ceilings so at least you’re not claustrophobic. overall the location is convenient for the area. overall it’s a 8/10 for me.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this Best Buy like the plague. Theyll probably be shut down in a year or so anyway. It is genuinely the WORST retail store Ive ever had to shop at; the employees wont help you and as a matter of fact theyll go out of their way NOT to help you, avoiding eye contact so you dont take them away from their conversations with their fellow employees who are also doing absolutely nothing. They dont want you in their store and they make sure you know it.Not a single person came to ask us if we needed help finding anything. All the employees were grouped together; one group of them at the back of the store and one near the front; all of them next to the products I dont doubt they receive commission for: the cell phones and appliances. Even the security guard didnt want to do his job -- bro was on his phone the whole time, and walked off the sales floor to continue his conversation.Just skip it. Go to another Best Buy or better yet, order your stuff online. These people dont want your business.

Hi I went in there on Black Friday to get a Samsung tablet. I finally found that section and when I went to look at them, another customer touched the one I was interested in and set off an alarm. I asked the nearest employee if he could help me, as I was only there for the tablet, and he just looked at me and walked away. I thought he went to get a key/alarm code or something but he just flat out ignored me and went and talked to his buddies in the computer check out section, then I saw him later helping other customers. So I was standing around like an idiot helplessly until the alarm finally stopped. I was quite embarrassed. If he couldnt fix it, it would have been nice for someone to explain that to me. He was wearing a tall 45 yo male, surgical mask, black glasses, short black hair.

Always have liked Best Buy since moving the US in 95. Seeing, touching and trying the latest gadgets rather than through screen is a totally different experience.This time I have tried the latest Surface Studio Laptop, Sony XM5 and Bose 700 earphones. All of them are good and are my next purchase target. I also checked the phone cards for friends returning to the US there as well.Thanks to Best Buy, always been helpful and courteous. It is my favorite candy store for sure.

In and out! Ordered my sons Christmas present online the day before Black Friday since it was $200 off and within a couple of hours, it was ready for pickup. We just purchased a Laptop & Printer at this Best Buy location located at the Shopping Center on Santa Monica and La Brea. Parking is underground, and free for 1 hour. We were helped by 3 different employees: David, Lillian and Anton. All three were personable, but Lillian was the friendliest. During our visit, I browsed the showcase TV area, which has truly stunning models. Covid precautions in place- all employees had masks on. There was a limit on how many people are allowed in the store at one time ( We didnt have a wait). Masks are strictly enforced.

I bought a new 65’ sony tv a few days ago. I unpacked it and there’s a couple of issues with it. For example, the tv keeps disconnecting from a perfectly functioning wifi, there’s tape sticking out from within the tv that you can’t get rid off. I drove back to the store to see if they could give me a voucher or help me in some way. They wouldn’t wouldn’t offer a voucher, they wouldn’t even offer to have someone pick up the tv and replace it, I would have to repack it, bring it back to the store, get a new one, go back home and unpack it again knowing all of this could happen again. The manager didn’t even care, she just walked off. Bad, bad service. Careful buying a new tv here.

MANAGER WILDER is unprofessional rude employee with ego issues.I came to the store to return purchased wireless charger which does not charge my cellphone properly (6 hours until full charge) to find out that Im late by 3 days (Renurn period ended April 8). For some reason they have only 15 days return policy instead of 30 days as usual. The reason I didnt come earlier is my new cellphone was delayed by samsung and I had no idea that bestbuy has 15 days return policy. If I would know that I would come earlier to get my $87.59.I politely explained everything to an employee, even she looked like she didnt care at all. She offered store credit, I politely rejected because had no intentions to shop in bestbuy in the future. I ask for a manager. Manager came didnt say hi or anything, looked like he was nervous hating his job. He started reading the script as a robot that they have 14 days policy (its 15 for non activated devices) he didnt even ask if the charger working properly, all he wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I said understand but I wasnt noticed about that. He replied its in my receipt, I showed him my receipt. He didnt find it there and told me to go to my cabinet, I said that I made my order as a guest. He replied that its in our policies. I ask him how I supposed to know that then? He was very annoyed and told me I should go to the policies of the company, I asked how I can find them form my checkout online window? He said that he will print that and he left to came back with printed policies and added that he is not going to argue with me. Which does not make sense because Im here only to get my money, Im not interested in arguing with you at all. Then he became angry and told me that now I cant get even a store credit and he left leaving me standing by the customer service alone with a charger which does not work properly. Would I shop in the Bestbuy again? Probably not.

Took 1.5 hrs to pick up my online order. This branch were not prepared for a long line and were customers wrapped around the building. COVID-19 6ft signs were not properly installed to equip the long line. There was only one employee who where getting all the orders, until a customer complained. Then we saw more staff members came out. I hope they mirror Walmarts pick up system because I got mine in 10 mins without getting out of my car.

WHY IS THIS BEST BUY STILL ALIVE? Ive considered leaving a 1-star review multiple times but delete them because I feel bad. So in reality this one start review should be 3 one star reviews.Its evident that theres room for improvement in their customer service. I had an unpleasant experience with their Apple Care services multiple times. The website indicated they could repair both the front and back of my phone, but upon arrival at the store, they informed me it would take 3-5 days and suggested I visit an Apple Store. This isnt the first time this has happened, and I believe Best Buy should reconsider offering Apple Care services if they cant deliver on whats promised. The whole point of providing apple what is broken with your phone is so they can send you to a location that can actually help you.Additionally, there was an issue with a purchase I made. They initially agreed to a return or repair, but when I returned a few days later, they declined, stating it had been more than 2 weeks and advised me to contact the warranty. Its frustrating when a store seems to delay addressing customer issues.Furthermore, I encountered a problem with their credit card app, which displayed an incorrect balance of $0.00 when in reality i had a .34 cent balance and they REPORTED IT TO MY CREDIT AND REFUSED TO REMOVE IT?! thats 100% illegal. While it was ultimately a minor amount, I expected better customer service, or at least that they fix their own mistakes and not send me to collections for .34 cents after ive spent thousands of dollars with them.I understand that the location can be challenging, with security concerns and homeless individuals. However, I believe Best Buy should evaluate its commitment to providing quality service and consider the impact of its operations on the community. Youve wasted my time on multiple occasions. If everything seems like a burden you, or you need to send your customers other places, you should just shut down already, or at least be upfront with the services you can provide, and not tell someone to come back in only to send them away.

I bought a monitor took it home immediately and plugged it in and half the screen was white the display was broken. I then went back to the store I bought it from 45mins after I purchased the item to show them that they sold me a damaged good. They said that since there is “no damage on the box, their policy says they can’t refund it”. The logic makes no sense. So next time you are sold a damaged item by Best Buy, stab and punch the box so it “fits their policy” and they can give you a refund that you deserve. I’m now sitting home with a broken $200 monitor.

Store was fine except difficult to shop by type of item wanted as displays are arranged by the manufacturer or Brand. If you go to Best Buy on a regular basis all the stores are this way. If it werent for the fact that Id have to put all the stuff I buy in a luggage to lug back home, Id buy more bulkier items!BestBuy itself is great. **Drone Purchase/Customer Service on Edward in Geek Squad reviewl** I purchased a drone about three years ago at Best Buy, I finally found a class to prepare me for the FAA 107 pilot license test. Only problem is that the propellers are missing. Wow the best buy receipt nor the packaging on the drone specify that. Ok, let me give them a call. Oh man, I got someone in the Philippines call center that reads a five minute script and in the end can’t assist you? Seems to be theme across all these call centers, but that’s another review. Ok let’s try someone in the store, after all, this is why I paid retail price instead of ordering online, for a live person with insight or guidance on parts for your main purchase. I come here to West Hollywood Best Buy, no more drone section, all orders are online. The floaters covering several departments don’t have the knowledge to assist me, go to Geek Squad, I get Edward. Edward asks me if I purchased coverage through them, no, and you don’t need that just to look up the specs on my purchase here, that’s all I need. Can’t you look this up in your database? High school drop outs do this in a jiffy for me over at Autozone! You mean you don’t have the knowledge, nor the database to give me the specs on my purchase? So how is it that your staying relevant and competitive with online giants like Amazon? You do know that the online competitors are what drove your former competitor Circuit City out of business right? You also are aware that we operate in a service economy because we offer customer service with solutions and insights that make a better shopping experience. I guess not. I walked out of here without a solution to one of the last electronic store retailers in the country. Doesnt have the worst selection (games are usually always sold out), just most of the employees are atrocious. Most cashiers are friendly and helpful, but floor staff are basically statues. You try to ask for help, and they ignore you and walk away. Last trip, we had two blokes in the home theatre section jabbering to each other, and ignored my wife and I when we asked for assistance. Usually the lads in gaming act like that. Still the closest one to us, otherwise would advise going elsewhere.

I had my mother with me who was looking for a new tmobile phone. The woman at the counter seemed like she had way better things to do on a Wednesday at 4pm than be of any assistance. I went to return a monitor I bought during Black Friday, filed the return online and went to drop it off in store. The employees in customer service told me they would not get me any money back and I would have to pay an extra $80 to return this monitor. I had to pay them to return something??? This is the Best Buy near Target which is a convenient one stop shopping experience. However, if you will be there a long time, find out if Target validates. I like the Best Buy store and the products they carry but this store could use some improvement. Good news is they have parking. Bad news is that its only for an hour and Best Buy does not validate. An hour was not enough time considering the long lines and also that they are understaffed. I had to wait a long time to get help. There was only one associate working in the department I was in. Then, the operations manager Martha showed up with a very nasty demeanor. She spoke to this young man and then just left us standing in the middle of the store. About 10 minutes later, she came back with a bunch of people around her. Never even acknowledging us or saying one word to us. The original nice customer service rep. was no longer there We were just standing there like we did not exist. I finally came up to them and asked them to please help us because we were elderly and just needed a problem resolved. The group consisted of Martha, Mauricio, Manny, and Yiar. THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP US. We were told that we had to bring in the huge machine into the store - no exchange, no fixing (although we purchased the Geek Squad warranty). We begged for someone to help us pick up the machine or fix it at our home - THEY DID NOT CARE, OFFERED ABSOLUTELY NO SOLUTIONS, I wanted to call their regional manager Dino, but they gave me the wrong number. No one at BEST BUY CAN CONNECT ME TO DINO. It is forbidden for a customer to talk to the main manager. They were beyond rude, were covering themselves so that there would be no complaints filed against them. I hope Dino reads this review and writes me back! Do not rely on the associates knowledge.Update: If youre looking to buy a TV, this is the place to see what the TV actually looks like before you buy. Having the sets on display saved me from making a bad decision. The only thing I dont like about BB is that you cannot use a thumb drive with media to test out image quality on the TVs. However, they do offer a good selection of videos but not a selection of text or PDF documents to show how text looks like on a TV for people like me that want to double the screen as a computer monitor.Ordering through the website or app is great. We purchased a Insignia beverage refrigerator about 1 year and 5 months ago and it started beeping with an error code, we call the Insignia phone number which is a Best Buy Brand and they looked up the purchase. After looking up the purchase they informed us to take the refrigerator into the local Best Buy store which is our West Hollywood, CA store and even made us an appointment for the following day. After driving over there and loading and unloading the refrigerator and taking it into the store we were informed that they could do nothing about it and the Manger of the store acted like he could care less and told us that this is what happens if you don’t buy the service warranty that they sell, and why would they do anything about it then there would be not reason for them to sell the warranties. I have had my Best Buy Credit card between 15-20 year and have always been a dedicated customer of the store. This will no long be the case, as soon as the credit card is paid off it will be closed and I will never buy anything else with the company again. We didn’t even want them to replace it we just asked them to repair it and we were told they were doing nothing and he had told us this about 5 time. This is probably one of the worst experiences I have had in a store. GOOD BYE BEST BUY !!!!

As I was using my laptop at the airport, my charger stopped working. I tried to use some quick fixes by slicing the cord but that only lasted for about an hour. Had problems with my laptop. When I checked it in at 10.07am I was given 2/3 days diagnostic time frame. In reality I picked it up at 7.30pm, same day. Added bonus just moved to area and was able to park immediately outside for both drop off and collection.Another reason for the total protection package, todays repairs were totally free.

Just like other stores but a notch higher. They have helpful crew but not all. Service is good, but not all gives you the same service. I bought a TV here exactly a two weeks ago. I asked to have it delivered to the store for a curbside pickup, but employee told me it cant be done and had to be delivered at home, without any further explanation why. In short, my fear happened and the TV was broken. Fortunately, the nice employees came to the rescue and now I have a beautiful working TV that replaced the old that had white spots just after 5 and a half years. 4.5 stars would be better, but there is no half star rating, and I cant give a 5 due to the employee that didnt care to help much. Still my go to Best Buy store though since Ive been to a lot of Best Buys and this is probably the best so far.

Best buy seems like the only one left and they must own their stores and employ a genius who thought to rent out some of their store space because this Best buys has in it like Pacific sales and plenty of stuff that makes it kind of really very nouveau and cool.however -and this is a big however - I needed a computer and wanted to talk to someone about my choice BUT there was a disorganized line of people and what looked like one clerk who wouldnt pay attention to anyone to say Ill be with you in a minute or anything like that like you had no idea what she was going to do and you definitely had the impression that if you tried to ask or something they would call you a Karen. So I walked out and went somewhere else. score on the innovation of the new physical layout but you lost your core business. There was no semblance of customer service for electronics at all. It was a bunch of slow kids with bad attitudes. SKIP IT.

Went here to upgrade to a new iPhone. I will say that the wait was longer than I would have liked, but the person who helped me out was very thorough and patient. Additionally, worked with the Geek Squad post-purchase for some minor additions to the phone and despite another long wait, they were helpful and courteous and friendly. In this new COVID world, extended waits are going to be the norm. Not ideal, but at least they have a courteous and friendly stuff that is super helpful as soon as its your turn to be seen.

This store is in a great location -- very easy to get to. The inside of the store is clean and well organized. I have found the sales associates to be very helpful and informative in numerous areas of the store where I have shopped from time to time. Lastly I do find that there are adequate associates available to answer my questions and to complete my purchase. Once I have made my decision to purchase an item, I dont want to wait a long time to check out. The check out process has always gone smooth and timely. I would go out of my way to shop at this particular location!

I love this Best Buy store. Someone is usually always standing there. To help me out, and whenever there not. Or a salesmen is always nearby. U can always find them walking around the store. Most of the people who work there are friendly. Most are super helpful and knowledgeable of the products there selling. When there not I always get someone who is. One of the worst Best Buy experiences I have ever had. I had purchased a laptop from Best Buy about 2 months ago. My Geek Squad Service ended but I was told through a phone provider that I can still drop it off at any best buy for repairs. I went to this Best Buy to drop it off and they didnt even run a diagnostic on my computer. They looked at it for about 4 seconds and decided immediately that there was nothing they can do. After being frustrated I decided to call Geek Squad again telling them about my terrible experience and they redirected me to a better Best Buy in Santa Monica. They were able to help me, and send my computer off for repairs within an hour.

We went here to get a tablet, it was my Mothers Day gift. We had a really friendly sales associate come up to us and ask if we needed help. It was such a nice change, usually you have to hunt down an associate for help at other stores! I didnt want to get an expensive tablet, I mainly wanted it to use for e-books, maybe surfing the web. The sales associate didnt try to pressure us into buying a more expensive one. He actually helped us pick out one to meet our needs, it was actually on sale and below the budget we were expecting to pay! The associate was the one to point it out to us, explaining all of the features and was extremely knowledgeable. I love it when a business employs associates that are actually there to really help customers, not try to pressure them into breaking their budget or getting a product they dont need; its refreshing and guarantees I will be back to give them more of my business. We ended up saving money, getting a great product and having a great experience. Ill be back!

I love best buy and I have been a regular customer from here for 2 years now. I always get my electronics upgrades from here, and never been into any problems here. Most of the times I found the price tag in here are lower when I compared it with others online. I think that was the main reason I prefer then over others. Last time, I signed up for Best Buy membership card as well. Now I am gonna get lots of deals, so many of my friends are having the same. All the staff members and customer service were also nice. I strongly recommend every one to go for Best Buy where you will surely get the best buy for your money.

Well, personally I think if you’re spending good money on a TV or some other product, during one of the busiest buying times of the year, and that product is pre-paid and ready for pick up, you shouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes to an hour, in a line. Not cool. Especially when it’s cool outside. More staff required to be working during busier times to move the line more quickly.

I realize that the overall experience at Best Buy locations probably varies, and isnt the greatest overall as theyre a big bang electronics retailer, however, I actually get the most amazing service overall at this location. They understand people and try and help individuals. If by chance, Ive ever ran into a situation where I didnt get the appropriate help, I ask for another individual or find another individual and get the help necessary. Also, I find that new stuff is usually in stock more here, as well as open-boxed items you can haggle the price usually. My normal go-to store.

I bought a TV from the West Hollywood store and when I installed it and turned it on I found out that the TV screen was damaged. Yesterday I went into the store on 1015 N La Brea Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90038 to take in an iPad folio I bought. the associate who assisted me made this ordeal literally one of the worst experiences I have ever had.  The associate (Alberto) I think his name was. first started off by yelling at me. (not yelling to get my attention. but yelling at me as if I was not listing to him) when it was my turn to be assisted.  when I then go to the counter and tell him I need to do a return he yanks the package out of my hand and enters in the information as if to start doing the return. he informs me that because it was a replacement there no refund and that he is going to keep the replacement item.  takes the shipping packaging that I came in with and crumbles it and shoves it in the trash.  I then tell him no I will be taking this back with me if you cant return it in store. he tells me no I cant have it because it was a replacement item.After I then tell him I need a manager he then proceeds to take the packaging out of the garbage and take both the iPad case and envelope and toss them AT MEAfter that I turn to walk away, honestly dumbfounded as to what I just experienced and walk away  I proceed to go to the registers next to the door and ask for the manager. the manager arrives and when I tell him he doesnt seem too phasedBest Buy… do better

I like Best Buy. Went in to Best Buy West Hollywood to check out the most highly rated 4K brands. Luckily, they had the brand and model I was interested in. Sometimes, it is a bit difficult to find an employee to help you but the overall experience went just fine. Have to measure my space to make sure that the TV will fit (75). Like most businesses during this pandemic, Best Buy has had the adjust to new ways of doing business. Their old way of doing business revolved around getting the customers into their retail stores and them have them navigate through a maze of ailes stocked floor to ceiling with products you did not know you wanted or needed. Their game plan was to keep the customers wandering through their stores for as long as possible because the longer the customer was there, the greater the odds that they would purchase more than what they had originally intended to purchase when they came in the store. That strategy obviously cannot work anymore and Best Buy needed to find a better way to do business. Step into their store now and the first thing you notice is that the floor plan is much more open than it used to be. Gone is the large next of ailes with stock piled high at strategic intersections in the maze. You actually almost dont notice that there are defined wide walkways that extend out from a wide open center of the store like spokes on a wheel. These allow the customer to navigate to the part of the store where the product(s) they are interested in as quickly as possible. They do have some smaller ailes near the back of the store because some merchandise needs to be displayed on shelves but the large center of the store (or the center hub of the wheel) is wide open and larger items are displayed here like free range animals on the range. They have also remodeled the cash register area up near the entrance to include a much expanded in store pick-up area. The idea is to no longer try and keep the customer in the store but rather have them browse their stock online, find what you want and also pay for it online. A Best Buy employee will them gather the items you purchased and will then send you an E-mail letting you know that your purchase is ready to be picked up. You will have your choice of doing a curb side pick-up or coming in the store and picking up your other at their expanded in store pick-up b counter. It is all designed to either not have the customer come in the store or to get the customer in and out as quickly as possible. It is a very different world these days but it is good to see businesses like Best Buy adjusting their business model to protect both their employees and customers.

Last time I went there, the employee wasnt the one that could best help me with what I was looking for. I was looking for a house warming gift for a good friend that I was invited to his home. The Employee did a small thing yet so brilliant in how to welcome the customers. The employee walked me all the way to other end of the store, which I though it was nice of her, but the best thing was that she was talking to me about hows my day going and how long did you know this friend, was he in college with you etc until we reached our destination and she said This is Charles,he will assist today, thank you for being a best buy customer. That little effort made my day, I felt important and will gladly shop only at best buy in the futur.

Anyways, my wife casually walked to the Apple section and suddenly wanted to change her phone. She decided to get the iphone 13 pro max and Ralph was amazing throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to help my wife change her iphone. He was so professional and nice that I ended up changing my phone too. Not sure if this was a good thing but I am 100% satisfied with Ralph working with us. I would definitely recommend this store if you are looking for any electronic products. This is my first time to this location. I usually go to Burbank Empire center. This West Hollywood location has parking underneath. However signage to the different stores doesnt exist, I had to ask people where to go.When I went in to the store I wasnt greeted, the guy was looking at his phone. I asked where to pick up online orders and he showed me with no smile or enthusiasm.The lady at the pick up counter was really good, smiles, professional and helpful, so that was a good point for this store. I left after that, however not sure i would return to this location. Burbank is looking better now...; )

Every other time Ive gone to this Best Buy, Ive had to school some of the staff on products - iPhones, cameras, drones, televisions, gaming consoles... Its a bit frustrating to be honest. Many conversations Ive had at this Best Buy have ended with someone in a blue polo saying, Ohh I didnt now that! I get it - you dont have time enough in the day to research products, but please dont insist to me that I should check something out when you arent versed. So yeah - it gets frustrating. Especially when I just refuse any help and still get followed around. Just stop people!However, when we went to get a new washer and dryer the guys were really helpful and I really appreciated the time over two days they took to help us decide. And the delivery and installation were free, which was fantastic.

I love this Best Buy. They always go above and beyond. I was helped the last two weeks by three awesome people. One helped me with a return (Jose) he was polite, understanding, informative and did not make any false promises. Another time I was helped by Das when looking for an Apple laptop he was very knowledgeable, patient, helpful and eager to make sure I knew what I wanted and was getting from each device. I like that! Lastly when I decided which device I was getting I was helped by Narek he went above and beyond to get me the best price and even some great accessories!
