2024-05-16 21:30:15I have been a Geek Squad member for many years and their service when the came to the house was very good and I was always very satisfied. Now they have a membership fee and no longer come to the house unless you pay another fee around a $130.00. My last visit was to the store on a problem that involved 3 visits unplugging my tower, next visit the tower and printer with the last visit the tower, printer and scanner. The last visit I arrived at the appointment time and said they were short of help and I had to wait about 30 minutes. The guy started and then said I have leave for lunch and another guy took over. I came in between the previous problem now the scanner wasnt working which they fixed the last visit 2 days before and the other problem 2 days not working. Now the printer wasnt working again and the guy said he doesnt work with printers and that printers are very sensitive and it was older. So I had to carry the tower, printer and scanner home again with them still not working and try to get all the cords connected right and wasnt able to do. I wasnt going to deal with the Geek Squad again. I found a college student and he had everything connected together and in less than 45 minutes working together again. Since then he has taken care of my laptop too. I no longer have confidence in the Geek Squad and dont like unplugging and plugging everything in plus carrying all the heavy components back and forth. As an 80 year old Senior this was a real burden plus the cost was much more reasonable and with the Geek Squad they didnt solve the problem and facing another trip or paying over a hundred plus to have them come to the house.

2024-04-06 01:07:30We love our Best Buy and always get all of our electronics and appliances at this location. Today we took our daughter who was looking to make a big purchase on a camera, and wound up buying one for ourselves as well. Kyle in the camera department was knowledgeable, patient and gave us excellent service. Kudos to T.O. Best Buy for having top notch sales people, a great selection and competitive pricing.

2024-05-13 21:32:50Michael and the checkout clerk were very helpful with my Dad and I as we purchased multiple items and had the Geek Squad replace a phone lens. The product could not be opened per store policy so Michael show me his Air Pod Pro 2 so that I could determine if it would work for me. It did and I bought my first set!

2024-06-15 01:59:24Customer Service on the phone is a severe nightmare and on top of that, the 1st two installers who did our new washer/dryer came here and connected the washer wrong. That started the ultimate nightmare with the Best Buy Customer Service team. 98% of calls are thrown to the Philippines, after youve been on hold forever. It took us exactly 3 days and more than 23 phone calls (we kept track), to finally get a U.S. rep who was able to look up information and handle things the way the Philippine reps cannot and will not. If youre buying a TV or something you handle yourself, then go to their store and buy it. But for major appliances and big items that need delivery, installation, or repair, you will enter a whole other world of frustration and hell. Trust me, between the mountain of phone calls youll need to make, and the hard-to-understand-and-talk-to reps overseas and the bad phone connections (theyll hang up on you if they dont understand your American slang or if you ask them a question thats not on their script), youll be exhausted when its over. For the phone call issues and the bad overseas reps who were useless, it felt like we were doing all the legwork to get our issue taken care of. Best Buy shouldve been paying US for all the work we did. We complained on the phone to the U.S. rep we got, and they said theyre not surprised, theyve heard that from many other customers. Now THAT says it all.

2024-02-29 04:36:51I wish I would of got the name of the person who helped me, I was looking to get some Pokémon cards for my grandsons. They were not on display when I got up to the counter. The gentleman who helped me was wonderful, he said that he had some and took the time to go get them for me. Just over all a very pleasant person..

2022-05-11 04:04:31I love the streamlined customer service process that you can find at any Best Buy location in the USA. I live in Colorado but traveled to California regularly and love the convenience of the Thousand Oaks store in California. The only downside to this visit was that the customer pickup was actually not located within the store but located outside the store around the corner where curbside pickups are located. A little more clearer explanation would be helpful at the entrance as I waited at the pickup counter inside the store for a while until and off duty employee asked me if I needed help and showed me the way to the new pickup location outside and around the corner. 2024-06-10 23:35:16This store has limited stock, but the employees and their helpfulness, make it a 5 star location. I was able to get close to what i was looking for, so it all worked out.

2024-04-26 18:20:28Worst customer service, managers ever. I was asking help from three managers and all three managers said that they can’t help me. But I went to other Best Buy and they were able to solve my problem in couple minutes. Don’t waste your time going there and buying something. Go to other Best Buy store.

2024-03-22 18:52:07The employee with red hair and glasses at Geek Squad needs proper training on how to treat customers. Despite appearing friendly, he comes across as condescending, which is extremely disappointing. I was absolutely disgusted with his attitude.
