Let me start off by saying that I have been shopping at this store many times. 🛍Here the price is low compared to other equipment stores.🫰💵Basically, we made a purchase knowing what we want to buy and just came and bought it.📱💻🖥But this time it was different. We wanted to compare Drone models to decide which one is right for us.And it was a SHOCK 🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱🥺🥺🥺We waited for a consultant for more than 30 minutes. During this time, we approached 5 employees and everyone did nothing, but simply said wait. 😤😡In the hall, many people were waiting for someone to approach them. 🥺😠After 40 minutes, a man who knew nothing about drones came up and started looking for information on Google where I had already looked. 🫣😞His competence and knowledge about drones is zero! 😱😳He never answered questions about drones.😳In the end he started to be rude and annoyed.😱He started raising his voice because he couldnt find information about the drone.😱He ended up sending us away from the store.😱catch-up shouted something unintelligible and got annoyed with us as buyers. 😡😡😡We have never seen such a boorish attitude in any California store. 🤯😱😱How can such people work? 😕Respecting ourselves, we simply will not buy equipment in this store. 💵🫰Friends, lets improve service and attitude to ourselves, we are not meat 🍖, we are people and have the right to respect ✊ as a buyer.😎This consultant receives a salary from my purchases and I dont want to give him a cent until he learns to respect seniors, and buyers.❌🆘⭕️🚫‼️DO NOT RECOMMEND this Best Buy store. ❌🆘⭕️🚫‼️

The atmosphere was great, it was clean and has everything you need, but had bad customer service while shopping for a security cameras for my 88 year old grandmother. Got what we needed not because his help, He was rude and didnt really help or answer questions with a attitude. But thanks Best Buy for having what I needed to make my grandmothers house safe.

The worst customer service you cant get through on the phone and when you do they tell you something different than when you get to the store. I ordered a phone delivered it to the store I called up they said they could come pick it up within an hour or two I get there and they said the person on the phone doesnt know what theyre talking about. I drove 45 minutes to get there. They said the phone cannot be released until the 31st of the month all my friends got the same phone the day before mail to their house. They are full of lies I have three phones shipped there I just canceled them and will buy Direct and ship it to my house and not give Best Buy the businesses will definitely never shop there again s

My visit here today was a toss up only because when I literally came after Lowes not having the Ring Doorbell I wanted to buy I last min decided maybe they will have it, sure enough they had it. What made this not great was that the store was literally shuffling around to what it seemed to be 6 people.. (1 reg, 1 appliances, 1@ door, 1 phone area, 1 helping pull orders and 1 roaming doing case unlocking). The person at the door said Ill send one to Home Security for you cause I knew what I wanted well after 10-15 mins and 2 associates passing me not being able to help I almost left but a lady passing had a Unlock key so needless to say Good Safe Staff.Overall I have to say some of this is because of the pandemic leaving stores without people wanting to come back to work and just stay home.. But I am thankful for those that did help me greeted me and helped me at checkout I hope that my next visit will be better.

You get to know what your looking for. Remember the emoloyees will try to sell what they can. Some are very laxed and at this location they are very relaxed and dont preesure anything. I have geek squad protection on my headphones and i was happily able to exchange broken pair for a new one. Note that if the new pair costs more then the old pair did you got to pay the difference and repay the insurance if you want to keep and extend it. Only reason this place doesnt get a 5 star is cause they tried to tell me it had to be the same pair and i had to prove otherwise

We found a specialty shop but they didnt carry what we needed, so they suggested Best Buy.Our question had to be referred to the manager. Went in there to shop Best buy. Went to the car audio section to question about labor on a certain vehicle The installer finally came out after half an hour of sitting there so I asked him what was the charge for a backup camera and stereo in a 97 Toyota 4Runner. He said it would be $280 and that I would need $30 worth of accessories to install the stereo. Included in those accessories was a dash kit a harness adapter and antenna adapter. Sounds good so far right? Well that vehicle doesnt need an antenna adapter nor dash kit those two items are almost $25 by themselves. If I were you Id suggest looking somewhere else. Theyre really shady

Twice I have bought a computer for them and twice have they malfunctioned. First time I got it switched as it happened the SAME day of purchase. Second time was 3 months after purchase. The employees tried helping but were not able to do much. Very dissapointed. Please dont buy from these guys.

I recently had a rather frustrating encounter with a Best Buy employee and manager. Unfortunately, my order was mishandled, and the wrong item was ordered. This oversight not only inconvenienced me but also reflected poorly on the level of attention and accuracy one would expect from a reputable retailer like Best Buy. I hope the staff can improve their order fulfillment process to avoid such disappointments in the future.So they making mistake, you call customer services they tell you to go back to store so they can fix. You back to store and tell you need to handle it by yourself.When manager came in they tell we can’t cancel you need to get your item and go back to store to return it.

I would give them [Citrus Heights Best Buy] 4 stars, but they gave good service. I was supposed to have a car alarm installed at this location, but the alarm that I bought, was not compatible with my car.Folsom Best Buy was supposed to call me, but they didnt. Cant blame these people for it though. Nate, the Best Buy technician, helped me get things straightened out and provided some options for alternative car alarm systems. He also said, for the mix-up as well as for my time, that hed take off a percentage of the price of the car alarm.If you are gonna have any automotive installation at Best Buy, please confirm with a Best Buy associate that the installation is 100% going to happen (no compatible issues, etc).

Needed to return a tv wall mount that was sold to us (wrong size). It was outside the 15 day period. Manager would not refund or give store credit. Stated it was store policy. This item was on display for the same price as what we paid. We have purchase many items from this store over the years. I asked for a partial store credit ( did not want to eat the full $400). I submitted an online pickup order for a TV on Sunday evening. Within the hour, I received an email notification that the TV was ready to be picked up. I arrived and decided to choose the option for the item to be delivered to my car. Do not get your phone screens replaced here!!!! I suggested that my dad replace his XS max screen at this location because they use genuine Apple parts so I figured he would get a better product then those 3rd party places. There are many repair shops to charge a third of the price.Several months later and there are huge lines on his screen and within a day the amount of lines multiplied and got bigger and bigger. No other damage on the screen whatever. Phone is in pristine condition. And now they’re telling my dad that because it’s been longer than three months and that he has to pay another $350 to replace the screen. Horrible customer service. And my dad‘s phone is literally dying as we speak so now he has no choice but to pay another 350 for another screen. I would expect much better customer service and guarantees from a big company like this. Not happy with the lack of accountability of selling us a defective product. Manufacturing warranties exist for a reason. Apparently Best Buy is exempt.

After hours of research on home theatre sound systems, I decided to drive 25 miles out the way to a Best Buy in Citrus Heights because they had an open box item in excellent Condition (meaning all original package contents and no cosmetic defects). I picked it up curbside and took it home. When I got home, I opened the box and 7 of the 9 items were MISSING. Manager Antonio from the store instantly offered me a $50 gift card when I arrived back at the store the next day for my inconvenience. But after further discussion Antonio rescinded the $50 discount saying it did not apply to my issue. Best Buy falsely advertised an item that was open box, and had NO business being sold as Excellent . I even purchased Geek Squad protection on an item that I now have to send back. This review is because of the insult to injury added by your associate Antonio, who even gave me the wrong # to corporate before I left. This is completely unacceptable and was a total shock that I Would be treated that way in the store. YOU OFFERED A DISCOUNT to a customer and took it back. Its simple, do thorough research BEFORE offering up something that you cant fulfill. I am returning the item and NEVER shopping at this BestBuy again.

Unclean and unorganized shelves and employees are mostly knowledgeable in the basic concepts of technology and actually arent as knowledgeable as myself which isnt why I go to a store and do my shopping online because your at risk of getting bad info if you get the least educated person helping you. Xmas shopping for granddaughter. Toy isle was a mess and 90% of what was offered was pure, over priced, junk. When I checked out, the teller showed me my change, a 10 and a 5 Bill, placed the receipt on top, distracted me for a moment while she replaced the 10 with a one dollar bill. Im taking back 4 stars! Went in to ask about a headset I bought in March, and the left side went out. They said out of warranty, BUT if I got the extended warranty ON BROKEN SET, theyd replace it. After looking at their website it was confirmed they had one left, so I immediately drove to this location. The gentleman helping me said that they were out of stock, so I had asked him to open the case and check anyways. I needed to purchase a replacement motherboard for my grandson and Best Buy (Citrus Heights, CA.) is now the only place near me that still sells computer parts in-store. I was recently witness to a horrific car accident on a trip to Redding, so I now want to record my future driving to protect myself and assist law enforcement. Auto install dept is amazing. I had dash cams, in dash video, and a backup cam installed in my car. I was pleasantly surprised at how competitive the pricing was. Kat from the auto install dept was extremely helpful in the multiple interactions I had with her. I appreciate that she took the time to review all my gadgets with me before installation. After the install was complete she took the time to go over everything with me again to make sure I was happy and knew how it all worked. The install job was impeccable. All the wires tucked neatly and Im very happy with the setup.

Asked 2 different people for help but no help. 45 minutes later, we decided to go to the Folsom store because thats where we always go and have never had an issue. Always helpful and friendly. We were walking out of the store and my aunt saw the manager and told her we have been waiting for 45 minutes. She said that we were next in line. So my husband is outside waited. But my Aunt decided to wait because they said we were next. Finally 20 more minutes later, A gentleman helped us. We pointed out the TV, paid and left. Also this store barely had anyone in it. I would have not been so annoyed if they had a lot of people.

Went into Best Buy, Citrus Heights, CA location on Friday morning, October 29, 2021. The store opened 2 minutes early and I just happened to be outside the store early to enjoy the early entry into the store. (I received notification that my new item was ready for pick up at the store.)When I walked in the store I was greeted and acknowledged. When I got to the Customer Service/Returns/Pick up line it already had a line about 10 people deep with one person at the register. I was immediately disappointed. But literally not for long, within seconds a second person opened a register, and greeted people, then a third person opened up. The line moved quickly and swiftly. Joann assisted me, she totally listened to me 100%, she was spot on accurate and understood my request. Vicki also worked with me to finish the transaction. She was equally enthusiastic about good service and happy to help me. She explained all of the details and completed everything accurately. I was pleased and happy. Thank you for exceptional service. The last few times I have gone in I had to wait 15-20 min to get any employee to notice me in the computer department. Even after asking someone to send an employee over it still took another 10 minutes. The job is not that demanding guys, if you see a customer stop your little gossip session and go do your job. I love Best Buy so seeing it become a landing ground for poor customer service is upsetting. Right now Im on hold for 10 min just to speak to a live person, unacceptable. That being said, the gentleman that ended up helping me in the computer department was very knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. The cashier put a note on it and said I can pick it up tomorrow but they sold it to someone else and then told me it was sold before the store open. I use the website and the app quite a bit. The ease of use for both these platforms have greatly improved over the last couple years. Ordering is easy and if its in stock shipping is super fast. Used the pickup option a lot lately and that is pretty convenient if the line inside is short. Employees Ive dealt with have been pretty chill and very helpful. I showed one a picture of a gimbal I was looking for and he told me to wait here and he got it for me in no time and rang me up and I was out the door. Awesome

The only Best Buy stores I have purchased from are in the Sacramento area but Id each of regions are as customer friendly and helpful it is probably the best for customer service if any home and personal electronics chains.A typical visit:. I was visiting family a number of years ago when a new high performance pro camera was introduced by Nikon, D800. It was in very big demand and the large mail-order camera stores were 6 months backlogged. I had been living in another country where they would not be available for several months. Some dealers has increased the price from $3750 to $5000. When I entered I was greeted as usual smiling welcoming staff and this time it was by a young enthusiastic woman who asked if I wanted anything in particular (I had bought 4 laptops and many computer accessories from the same store in the past).I was only looking for a cable but mentioned u really wanted the D800 camera. She said she did know what it was but if it was available she would search until she found one. I was flying out in 4 days and was sure she could not find one.I gave her my card after buying the cable and left. She called to say she found out what the camera was and she was searching store by store in the inventory data system on and off for two days and reported she down two, one in southern California and the other in Florida. She arranged a stock exchange from the one only 600 miles away.At the last minute the store manager stopped the transfer because local customers wanted it. With just hours to go before my flight she convinced the manager of the Florida store to send it overnight. I picked up my new camera on the way to the airport. What store has staff so dedicated to pleasing customer? Every encounter before or or since has been the most helpful and enthusiastic.

I was past the deadline and the manager was overtly rude about the situation, The financing company confirmed it was okay to return it and the manager of this location mocked me about what they said and told me to take my problems somewhere else. You get routed to a call center that doesnt pick up a phone after being on hold forever. If you want anything, you have to drive there and ask. I was very dissapointed in this store. I decided to share my story. Im a travel nurse from Southern California. I am a home owner of 22 years. Recently, I decided to lease an apartment for safety reasons, and affordability. I Purchased a 50 inch TV and surround sound system. After getting settled in I called Geek squad for an installation appointment. The phone called turned weird when the representative quoted me $249 to mount my TV. I informed him that I also was a Total Tech Member which entiles free installation, delivering, mounting etc. I was told that only if I purchase the TV from Best best, which I did, 48 hours prior, still in its box, unopened. He argued with me and repeatedly told me I was getting a discount but not free mounting. I declined the service for that day. When I called back 24 hours later to go ahead and pay, even though I disagreed; that representative took it upon himself to remove me as a member, without my knowledge. So, I was robbed of $199.99. I only been a member for a few months and never tried to utilize the services they advertise until now. Imagine charging a 100,000 + persons $199.99, never doing services for them, then secretly 😳 removing the member from the program. Without theyre knowledge/permission Total rip away right???? I should get a refund 🤔

I love the store but if you go to the auto shop, well I dont know, they try hard but dont really deliver. The staff is super nice and quick to help. Unfortunately what they help with is not often the correct thing.I had a rearview mirror camera installed. The girl (Kat) who installed it did not secure the camera in the back so it kept drooping. Every time I went through a car wash or closed or opened the trunk, I would have to adjust the camera.I went three times before they finally glued the thing onto my car. Also, when the gal was telling me about the camera and the rear view mirror smart screen, she didnt know anything! Best buy says part of the installation will be a walkthrough with the employee. She had to open the manual but I was the one figuring things out! She was not very bright. And she said this was a learning opportunity and she would learn more about it. But when I came back two weeks later she still had no idea how any of the smart options worked!I would not go here again. Not to the car service part, but the actual store is great.

Had a great experience coming in to recycle an old phone. The mobile guys were super awesome and got me hooked up. They also did an excellent job of explaining noise canceling ear buds to me.My cashier, Rick, was so friendly and personable. We spoke together about our lives as he helped me with my purchases. There were many different options for iphone, so I ended up having to purchase my daughters new phone case from Amazon.The other thing that got them 4 stars instead of 5 was that they had some super depressing low vibing rock music on full blast coming from the tv/surround section. It was loud throughout the entire store. The music made me sad and made me sad for the workers there. If theyre going to be there for hours providing customer service, they shouldnt be subject to downer music. Horrible customer service, because of their blunder in doing a carrier switch to T-Mobile with new phones for my family plan, I had to return all phones and contact my provider to not cancel my current service. Then they made another blunder on the returns, they didnt communicate it to T-Mobile. Six weeks later and after 12 store visits and countless phones calls, they still havent fixed anything. Yesterday I received a thousand dollar bill from T-Mobile on the phones that I returned. I dont know what else to do to get help, they simply wont do their jobs properly. Last week I went into the Best Buy near me (Birdcage in Citrus Heights), dreading to have to buy a new iPad and keyboard because I didn’t think mine was working anymore. I grazed around checking out the new iPads and really didn’t see what I wanted. There was no one around that I could ask so I wandered for about 20 minutes, getting a little irritated. All of a sudden, a nice looking young man approached me and asked if I needed any help. I was delighted someone was there to help me! His name is Aneesh and he was wonderful! I explained my dilemma to him and he graciously took my iPad and looked at it and examined it as I was explaining that I didn’t know if it worked or not. After a few minutes, to my delight, he said, “well, now you are fine. It’s works perfectly.” I don’t know what he did, but both my iPad and keyboard work. This young man was professional and focused on helping a customer. I believe him to be a great asset to Best Buy, and if I ever needed help when visiting that store, I would ask for him. I left a very happy person and will always be a loyal customer of Best Buy.

I needed a modem in a hurry. Without any prior research, I went in with only 15 minutes left before the store closed. A very nice, very experienced, girl helped me. She showed me the available modems and recommended one that she uses at home. She said it is the one that Comcast usually suggests as a replacement for their modem/router.So I was out the door inside eight minutes. I like the products at this store. I recently bought a laptop that I love, but I have a problem with their store policy. I originally placed an order online for the laptop. Checked my store account the day before pickup and I was informed the item was sold out. I never received an email either. If I never checked I would have been sitting at curbside pickup for no reason. Then I noticed the money was refunded, but there was no official refund notice from my bank or Best Buy and no announcement that the store would take the money out of my account if a laptop became available. So, needless to say Best Buy contributed to an overdrawn account because they never stated they would withdrawal the price of the laptop again once it became available. If this behavior is in the fine print then I would like to see it with my own eyes. It seem like this policy can be bad for business.

Took 45 minutes to get help. None of the actual items I was looking for from the website were on display. Only reason for 2 stars was the cashier who sent me to customer service to test. The customer service person got mad and wanted to know who exactly sent me their way for an open box item. She was nicer after confirmation but anyone who wants to try an open box return should be handled way nicer.

Negative rating is for the corporation and not this store. We bought a Geek Squad service contract for a new refrigerator. When we attempted to contact them to schedule a service call, we were either placed on unacceptable wait times (30-40 minutes) or disconnected after 20 minutes. When we were sold the contract, we were told that the service scheduling and many other services could be done using their app. When we went to use the app, there was a message that directed us to call for a service call and there were no useful services available. After a few weeks of trying to call for a service appointment, we decided to go to our local Best Buy store to see if they could schedule the service. We were told they may have to charge us to schedule the service call, but tried to intervene on our behalf by calling the number we had been using. The service rep also was placed on hold for over 50 minutes before being told that he was in a queue that would last about 7 minutes. The customer rep finally gave up after 15 minutes of receiving the queuing message. The customer rep was very apologetic about the problem and didnt really know where to direct us to get resolution. Ultimately, while we were winding up our visit to the store, we used the Contact us section of the Best Buy website to get help via a chat window. The chat rep was able to help us schedule a service call in a few minutes.

Generally speaking Best Buy is always a Five Star experience until today . i spend thousands of dollars a year at Best Buy and always purchase the protection plan @ the counter . I had an abnormal experience today at the Geek Squad counter with Alex .I am a business owner that buys a ton of smart home tech for my clients but from this day forward i feel compelled to say NO when asked in the future . I have purchased 5 lap tops in the passed 3 years and the one lap top i use daily is about 7 months old and despite the laptop description it never leaves my office and this morning when i pushed the power button it did not power up and is never unplugged .I run my business from this laptop and even though i pay as always for the best protection (which has always been sold to me with the assurance that if i was to drop it walking out of Best Buy it was covered ) Now it hasnt been or damaged in anyway but im told by Alex 2-6 weeks before i could expect anyone to look at it so i clarified my purchase of the protection and it being covered which didnt matter so i clarified with him that my coverage replaces my computer if it was damaged or in 1000 pieces and he responded with Yep in 2-6 weeks so since it is under a year old buying the protection plan on top of it has ZERO value (worse experience ever), owner of Mars One Heating and Air Conditioning Inc, Christopher C Braden .

A little disappointed in purchase, cant totally blame store but spent $600 on a telescope yesterday, spent an hour assembling it went to load software and nowhere in box was there any owners manuals more importantly it had no software registration card that activates the software worth about 100 bucks, well box wasnt factory sealed nor was it sold as an open box but apparently someone maybe bought a used telescope and couldnt activate software and possibly just took it out of new box, the issue is they didnt seem to be concerned and kept pushing for us to drive to Elk Grove as website showed 1 in stock they also didnt verify stock just wanted us to go get it. Ended up getting a refund, went onto Amazon & saved an extra $50 bucks... trying to buy at Brick & mortar store however sometimes your hand is forced. Just word to wise, if box is not 100% sealed up ensure everything is as should be..

I ordered curbside pickup. The parking lot was packed. I pulled into a pickup spot, checked in, thought I was going to have to wait so I had my music up! Next thing, I hear a voice telling me that it sounds great ( BestBuy carries the speakers and head unit) it was the clerk with my purchase. It was FAST! I rarely step into stores now.

Compared to the other Best Buy that I left a one star review this doesnt even feel like the same store. The store felt clean, laptops had proper displays, and the employees actually approach us to help with information. At the other store it felt like I had to beg for help. I got a laptop here and had a great experience, informed us all of the available services, and was super friendly. For the Best Buys in the area I would model your store off of this one.

I dont recommend coming to this store at all. I purchased a gaminng pc and monitor for 1800 bucks for my 12 year old for Christmas. Found the monitor had a big scratch and the corner is damaged. We plugged it in and it has 3 lines along the top. We tryed to return it but they wouldnt exchange it. They said it looked like we damaged it. Unbelievable customer service. I will never purchase anything from them again!

My other review was about store in Spokane, WA. Ill re-state I had bad experience with Best Buy in past and it is last on my list to ever shop at. However, I had no choice because I had to shop for work using work card. Anyways I had exceptional service. The person who helped me was knowledgeable enough about the drives and stayed with till the entire sale process, although the card needed dual authentication.This experience changed my perspective but the experience a few days later in Spokane brought it back to same level again.Anyways, if I ever have to shop, Ill prefer this CA store.

Most recently, Mike in kitchen appliances was awesome! He gave me his extension in case I had any issues and was very knowledgeable. One doesnt always find that anymore. Got it back, powered it up, and a new screen came up but the laptop was locked on a different error. When I asked questions from the employees was pointed to where I cd find the items but no offer to help/upgrade etc. Over and above Service does not seem to be this stores priority which is a shame as I am in the market for a new computer. I will probably go to a best buy, but not at the citrus heights location. That being said, the items I did purchase were quality and everything works.

Then having to go to your actual mobile provider. Up front and honest not pushy or creepy. I like the customer service. They will great you. But wont bug you by offering help you dont need.

Courteous staff as always but... system needs to stay up-to-date to accurately tell whats in store.Update: Its October 2023 and their customer service is atrocious, mainly because you cant get anyone outside of their call centers and they basically just put you on hold, apologize for their terrible system, and transfer you to another person to do it all over again. Its really unfortunate that the online market is the preferred method to purchase electronic devices. This was one of the reasons Frys Electronics went out of business. Best Buy is the closest company to the kind of selection available at Frys when the company wasnt so suppressed by online competition. If I could send a message to Best Buys CEO would love to see a bigger selection of items available for the local user to have the convenience to walk in on the fly and get what they need instead of having to wait several days for online orders through bigger companies like Amazon. Sometimes you just cant wait a few days for something to be delivered at your door when something unexpectedly breaks and needs to be repaired ASAP.

My experience was decent. I go there sporadically for minor things or a sale, but I do my research and know they can be a little pricey compared to other locations. On this occasion I was looking for car door speakers which they didnt have what I needed. Not their fault. Ever since the height of covid, vendors and deliveries have suffered immensely. Wanted it for a weekend project.
