Well after dealing with Apple before coming here before they had closed, it was more pleasant to have some kind people helping us in Greek squad. They were kind enough to mess with the Apple iPhone that wouldnt turn on at all luckily they just barely changed there hours or else we wouldve been S.O.L. they tried to update the phone which apple refused to do with 25 minutes to spare. They had no luck but told us what we could do and how we can accomplish those tasks to deal with the phone issues. We are just glad that someone tried to do something even though the outcome didnt end up with a working phone. Thank you for the help, empathy and being personable while we waited!

Dropped off my MacBook Pro laptop to the geek squad to have it diagnosed, because it wouldnt start up. They called me a couple of hours later and told me my laptop was fried, that I needed to buy a new laptop, which wouldve cost me $2500 for a comparable laptop. Was pretty close to buying it right there on the spot, but something told me to hold off. I took the computer home, opened up the back and disconnected, cleaned the ports and reconnected the battery and hard drive. Now it works perfectly fine! I went back to talk to the store manager Anthony, who is the person who told me it was fried. I asked him how he determined my computer was fried, and he said he assumed it was fried because it wouldnt start up. I asked him if he even opened up the computer to check the ports for the battery and hard drive. He said theyre not allowed to do that on Apple computers. I said well how can you determine that my laptop is fried? And why take my $180 for your useless geek squad annual subscription? He apologized and refunded my $180. Total bait and switch con artists. Avoid at all costs....

Husband and I ran into Best Buy for some screen protectors and a phone case. We struggled a bit to understand where the right products were and then the terms were different that weren’t immediately understood.Grant at Best Buy walked by with his hands full, obviously headed to do a task but he stopped to clarify our questions, help us understand product differences so we could be comfortable with our purchases.While I paid, my husband wandered off so I had to pay and then found him in the sound section getting educated by Grant. This young man is amazing. He has such a love for technology and when it came to product t knowledge, we felt like we got the thorough break down for various levels so we could determine what would be the best fit for our home.Grant is such a sincerely nice person to connect with. We felt grateful to have someone invest a some time with us and educate us on a future purchase.Best Buy in Encinitas. Go see Grant. He’s such a great resource.

My favorite home depot, a lot of the home depots in the area are on the smaller size. This is one of the only full size stores in the area. My only critique would be it isn’t easy to find staff when your looking for something, but that’s probably because this place is packed from sun up to sundown. You can always use their app to find what your looking for, that’s all the staff is going to do any way when you ask a question. This place is always clean and fully stocked. If your looking for something online this is going to be the store where it’s actually in stock. The best part about this store is there are workers outside lined up ready to work on your next project with you, they are great guys and I pick them up to help me on all my major projects, can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff is extremely friendly and really contribute to the encinitas vibe.

Terrible Artificial Intelligence to allegedly get to the correct Department. Two calls in — it was a real slog.How hard does it have to be to buy an extension to charge a Dell computer? Really hard, apparently!Who knew! Well now, people do! 😂

Wow. Empty shelves, dis-interested staff... no one in the place. Best Buy Encinitas now gives you that dead Sears vibe. Wont be back.

I just wont say its the Best Buy for me, but if you need the Geek Squad then I recommend Best Buy. If you dont then I wouldnt bother.

I hardly ever go to Best Buy as I build my own desktops.True story:Was in a pinch with a client and had to buy a laptop but still run Maya/3ds Max/MeshLab - online, ordered, picked up at Target for $279. I took one peek in in Best Buy, returned the laptop to Target 7 minutes later, and walked out of Best Buy with a laptop 3x as fast. Unbelievable service AND prices ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No stock on popular Kindle. Difficult to get served even though more staff than customers in store
