2024-07-01 01:17:31This another best review for my second eyelash transplant with doctor Kogouri as today is my 3rd day and I feel nothing at all as all the swollen, brushing, not even there without an irritation into my eye as well. I just want to thank you so much to doctor Kogouri and all the technicians that have been so helpful, kind, experiencing to performed best again on my upper eyelash. Can’t wait to see how it grows in the next 3 months as I will post it up again for an updates for whom that seeking to have a glamours eyebrow & eyelashes transplant for your own beauty and please just be at Berman Skin Instutute in Los Altos to see doctor Kogouri to bring you a best result that you never find at any where else! Down here is my video for my lashes just done on 6/28 as it’s also show my eyebrows has been done for 6 months which almost full grow. Thanks

2024-06-25 00:25:03Poor experience thus far. My son was started on accutane (MD who saw him was great). However feels like nothing has gone as planned after. First, he was sent for a blood draw per protocol. The lab order they send us with was not signed so we had to wait at the lab for 45 mins while the lab contacted the office to wait for them to send a signed fax back. Then, my son’s prescription ran out. He had his next monthly blood draw as required and then I called the office to find out when they would call the refill in (and also ask about a wound he had developed on his chest where he had acne after starting accutane). The person who helped said they could not see him for a week (this is a fairly significant wound) and also did not see the follow up appt in the system that we were given at his initial visit. I was there at the initial visit so I know we were given a date and time. The same MA who didn’t make sure the lab orders were signed apparently also didn’t put his appt in the system. So he’s now run out of his Rx, we called to ask what’s next, and we’re told he has to wait a whole other week for his follow up appt and refill. So 2 weeks off accutane. Not good protocol from what I’ve read about accutane. Given there is a standard protocol one follows when patients are on accutane, and I doubt he’s the first to be put on accutane by this practice, this just seems like very sloppy medical care. How hard is it to make sure they are on top of the monthly refills and follow up (and since his botched appt was their mistake, figuring out how to work it in so he’s not off meds for that long). I work in healthcare. It’s doable. Not sure I’d recommend this practice. 2 stars because the MD was lovely.

2024-06-02 17:35:45I have Kaiser insurance and have seen many dermatologist there. Today, I accompanied my granddaughter to her appt at Berman Skin and my 1st impression when walking in this office was Wow . The gal at the front desk gave me eye contact and welcomed me and i wasn’t even a patient “yet”. All staff were respectful and friendly. I asked if i can be seen for skin tags and i was quickly added to the schedule . Kelsey was awesome ! I will pay out of pocket for this service any day. I recommend this office for sure ! Keep up the great work Berman Skin !

2024-06-01 05:49:54Bareman skin Institute is definitely the place to go! I know I will definitely be coming back here again and I plan to tell all my friends and coworkers about this as well! My experience today was one of the best Ive had in a while!Starting with the check in process, the lady at the front desk was really kind and made me feel welcomed, she made the check in process quick and easy! Then in the back, Taryn and Sharon were great!! This was my first session for laser on my legs, and they were able to answer all my questions and made me feel confident that I made the right choice coming here. They didnt make the session feel awkward like other places, they were able to carry great conversations and still get the job done! Thank you ladies for giving me advice on what I can do for any future ingrowns!Coming to the end of my appointment, Betty helped answer some final questions I had and she is truly a gem! I cant wait to see my results and these ladies on my next session 😊

2024-06-15 17:59:53I was impressed with both the friendly receptionist, who moved my appointment forward so that I could avoid traffic, and the professional nature of my skin examination. The staff had excellent credentials.The Berman Skin Institute website was also excellent, making it possible to make an appointment without phoning the facility.

2024-06-21 01:56:44I was very, very shocked by their billing scam practices. My insurance covered their services in full. After a while, I received a notice that there was a payment due. I contacted the representative, asking them to reach out to the insurance company. They then sent more overdue notices, contacted me several times, and when I firmly told them that I am not going to pay and that we would handle it only through my insurance, they stammered and told me that there was a mistake and I owe them nothing. It looked like a scam practice to lure money from someone who is not native. It felt very sketchy.

2024-02-17 05:26:51I highly recommend Kelsey Chung!I visited the Berman Skin Institute 2 weeks ago for a medical consultation. As I was new to the clinic, I initially was hesitant in discussing my concerns. However, not only was Kelsey patient, but she walked me through a treatment plan that felt personalized - allowing me to move forward with a treatment option that best suited my needs. Kelsey was very empathetic making me feel comfortable during a medical visit and eased any concerns that I had.After deciding to go forward with the surgery, I reached out to Kelsey with additional questions, and she was very quick to respond even during non-buisness hours!Additionally, the staff is very respectful and accommodating!10/10 visit, I definitely will be continuing to visit the practice.

2024-05-11 04:12:45Love the way all staffs are so polite and very friendly. Dr. Longwell is great. She took times to explain about what i concerned, and recommended what is better solution for concerned. First visit is very successful for me. I am happy to go back again :)

2024-05-10 00:15:44Absolutely terrible receptionist. She should not be allowed to work here. She has a strong accent and her name is Clay or May or something like that. Our first question was Do you offer CO2 laser tattoo removal? and her immediate response was I cannot discuss the pricing information over the phone. So we asked the same question again and like a robot she kept repeating I cannot discuss the pricing information over the phone. After a lot of explaining we were finally able to get her out of her NPC dialogue loop. We again asked if they offered CO2 laser removal and like clockwork she starting saying another thing on loop, Laser removal is only offered at the Los Altos facility. We kept trying to explain we understood that it is only offered at the Los Altos facility and that we were just wondering what kind of lasers they offered at that facility but she just kept repeating the same thing over and over. Eventually we just gave up and decided to schedule a consultation to ask about it. The receptionist offered us a time for the upcoming Thursday at the Los Altos facility and we accepted.Thursday came and we received a call from a different receptionist. The practitioner we scheduled an appointment with didnt even work at the Los Altos facility on that day... We were dumbfounded that this was the case, the obvious question being why would you schedule an appointment with someone who wasnt even going to be at the office? The second receptionist offered to call back, but after several hours we never received a call. I called back and talked to the original receptionist (Clay?) about it. She said that the appointment was supposed to be remote which we never agreed upon and were under the impression was in person. Then she said that we said we were out of state which makes 0 sense. We have both lived in the bay area our entire lives and would have no reason to say otherwise. When I informed her of this, she immediately got defensive threatened to pull up the recordings of our call as proof. Absolutely crazy... She then stated she had an opening on the 15th (a few days later) at Los Altos. I explained to her our situation and our need to get the removal done as quick as possible for medical reasons and she offered earlier times at the SF facility. However, after learning that the earliest appointment for removal wouldnt be until June, I figured there was no rush for the consultation and asked again about the 15th. At this point she gas lit me and said she never offered anything on the 15th. Completely unprofessional and argumentative.

2024-04-27 23:24:42From the moment I walked in from the parking lot I was feeling relaxed and rejuvinated already from a stressful work day; Kelsey the attending (as well as all staff) was extremely friendly compassionate and accommodating. Was my first visitand was able to remove an awkward annoying skin tag I had all my life, minimal pain and time…the whole visit was probobly only 15-30 minutes; exempting the new patient intake forms!! Highly recommended for any dermatologist needs!!
