I recently had revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Swartout, and Im beyond happy with my results! After my primary rhinoplasty a few years ago, my nose still drooped and projected a bit more than I’d like. During my consultation with Dr. Swartout, I expressed my desire for a more lifted tip and less projection. He listened patiently, examined my nose thoroughly, and clearly explained the revision process.Today, I got the cast off, and my nose looks perfect! The tip is exactly what I wanted, there’s less projection, and best of all: my nose looks beautifully and naturally balanced with my facial features.What truly impressed me beyond Dr. Swartouts skill was the entire experience. Unlike previous surgeries where I battled nausea, Dr. Swartouts approach minimized post-operative discomfort. I felt great from the moment I left the surgical center.Dr. Swartout himself is incredibly kind and approachable. For example, when I expressed nervousness about the procedure, he took the time to walk me through every step again. His entire team is warm and positive too, which made a world of difference during this process.If youre considering revision rhinoplasty, I highly recommend Dr. Swartout. I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Swartout for revision. He is so skilled and meticulous - and my revision results have far exceeded my expectations. I now understand why hes considered top in the nation to perform this complex surgery. On top of it, hes just such a kind, humble, and considerate doctor and human, and his extended team has been such a pleasure to work with. Anyone under his care is in excellent hands.

Dr. Swartout is an outstanding physician and surgeon. He ranks among the best rhinoplasty surgeons available in the world today, and perhaps the best for revision in the United States. This is not only my opinion, but what I have been told by other very well known surgeons in the area, as well as, my personal physician.I had a complex case which he diligently corrected, giving me a natural, striking, nose that fits my face. It’s kind of shocking how much he was able to change and improve my nose while keeping it looking natural, to the point that no one knows I had work done unless I tell them.My case was a revision. The first surgeon doesn’t do rhinoplasty any more, that’s how bad he messed my nose up.Swartout is meticulous as well as conservative. The best combo for a nose surgeon, imo. In addition, he is incredibly bright (he went to Harvard) as well as funny, down to earth, and personable.I have recommended him to several people and he has delivered in each case. He’s extremely focused on good work but also modest, a rarity in the Beverly Hills area.One piece of advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery, and especially rhinoplasty: keep your expectations realistic, tell your surgeon exactly what you are hoping for, and then listen to them when they explain what they can do. No one goes from being a 3 to an 8 on the looks scale from rhinoplasty, but it can greatly improve your facial harmony.Best of luck! But then again, if you go with Swartout I don’t think you’ll need it.

Dr. Swartout performed a revision surgery 6 months ago.Approximately 1.5 years ago, another surgeon botched my first surgery to repair a collapsed nasal valve, repair a deviated septum and remove a bump on the bridge of my nose (none was done). In addition, I experienced extreme post surgical pain from the first surgery. That botched surgery did not restore my ability to breathe.Dr. Swartout is truly a wonderful physician. He is honest, caring, and sets forth reasonable expectations.6 months after Dr. Swartouts revision surgery, my recovery has exceeded his initial expectations. I can breathe (which is amazing), the bump on the bridge of my nose is gone, and the red blotch continues to fade away.I so appreciate Dr. Swartouts professionalism and skill as a surgeon. He gets 10 stars from me!

Dr. Swartout is amazing. I traveled across the country for a revision rhinoplasty after 18 years of breathing issues and a collapsing right nostril. His work is subtle perfection. It is the high caliber of work that fixes your breathing issues and improves facial aesthetics, yet doesnt scream obvious nose job. Beautiful wound closure for imperceptible inicisions. Office staff is efficient and kind. I wish I had done this sooner.

Dr. Swartout is an artist with a phenomenal hand for what he does. I went to him for a first time rhinoplasty consultation and left his office wanting to schedule a surgery date immediately. I walked in there with no photos or expectations as to the shape I was looking for and he presented me with a gorgeous natural looking nose just perfect for my face and personality. He has a great eye for simple, natural beauty and knows exactly how to achieve it. Hes very proud and sure of his abilities yet humble and honest enough to remind you that he is also human and no one is perfect, but he always strives to get as close to perfect as possible (and he did). He has a gentle hand, kind heart, and confident tone in easing all your questions and concerns. I would recommend Dr. Swartout to anyone looking for a rhinoplasty, first time or revision, in a single heartbeat. After showing my results to friends and colleagues, within the first day, I had been asked who my surgeon was and referred 3 different people to Dr. Swartout. Most rhinoplasty consultations are $200-$500+ non-refundable but his are completely free of charge which is extremely rare in LA so theres no reason to not check him out and see what hes about. Im certain after meeting him for the first time youll love him just as much I as do. So proud to be his patient!

My nose had bothered me my entire life. I put off meeting with surgeons because I was terrified of the end results, of not looking like myself.I met with a few other rhinoplasty surgeons before finding Dr Swartout, all of whom rushed through my initial consultation and left me feeling uneasy, underwhelmed and skeptical.In our initial consultation Dr Swartout spent over an hour with me, he was in no rush whatsoever (he also didnt charge for the consult like the previous surgeons had) and I could tell, immediately, that he was different, that he truly cared.He asked me questions about what I was hoping for and what bothered me but he also took the time to get to know me, to really understand what it meant for me to be sitting opposite him that day. He made me feel safe and encouraged.When I told Dr Swartout that I wasnt entirely sure what kind of nose I was after but that it was essential I came away still looking like myself he told me with confidence that he understood.proceeded to work on a digital rendering of what he suggested, walking me through each step, ensuring that I understood and that we were on the same page. I could not have been happier with what Dr Swartout suggested and booked my surgery immediately for his next available appointment.The surgery went perfectly, I felt incredibly cared for by the staff, Swartout took the time to prepare me for what to expect after the surgery and has been reliably available to answer any questions i have had along the way.Its been 2 months since the surgery and the results have already exceeded my expectations. Dr Swartout is not just a surgeon he is an artist who cares deeply about his craft and his patients and his work is a true reflection of that.My only wish is that I found Dr Swartout sooner. This Dr. has to be one of THE MOST pleasant, honest & straightforward Dr.s Ive EVER had the pleasure of visiting. I literally just left his office and opened my computer to tell the world how enjoyable this visit was. He is smart, kind and was extremely generous with his time! One of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the US!Dr. Swartout without a doubt one of the best surgeons in America. He was able to correct my nose after one botched rhinoplasty then went back to correct it for second time and did not work out. My case was tough even started looking for revision in Beverly Hills for top surgeons and couple of them said it’s too dangerous to fix or unable to touch it. Then I met Dr.Swartout did another revision with him and transformed my nose into a beautiful, natural, harmonious, scar free and breathable nose. He is a master and an expert. After extensively researching surgeons and going to 8 other consultations, I decided to do my primary rhinoplasty with septoplasty and turbinate reduction with Dr. Swartout. It’s been 2 months since surgery and I’m incredibly happy with the results. I was very picky and I trust him with my life. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a natural, real looking nose. I can also breathe perfectly now, so thank you Dr. Swartout! He is the best surgeon and I’m so happy with my decision. I look like myself but better.Also, he is very easy to reach after surgery. I got COVID recently and he has been very attentive and called me immediately to offer advice and answer my questions. He answers any questions you have with honesty and is someone that you can rely on to be there for you after surgery when you have questions about healing. He truly cares for his patients wellbeing and is a good person.
