I just purchased my 1st pair of good work shoes Hoka . Ive heard good things about the shoe. My experience was good for a 1st time. In my opinion --Carol was my shoe salesperson. So Ive heard the at becks u get the limousine of shoes service. Ill get a scan, Ill get measurements taken etc. So my question is when or who gets scanned? I explained I have a bunion and suffer from ingrown toenails -im not sure she heard me, and if she didnt no biggy. Im managing on my own right. Ive read almost all good comments about Becks. Im happy with my experience. Great music was playing and I love the sock section. Thank you. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟s

Our family has been buying shoes from Don’s now Beck’s shoes for many years. We’ve always had excellent customer service there. Today I went in looking for a specific pair of shoes and Daniel suggested I also try on a pair that he thought would work better for my feet. Well Daniel was right, I was much happier with his selection. If you need shoes go to Beck’s. These people know shoes and will point you in the right direction.

I stepped in to Becks for a pair of Birkenstocks. The salesman, Daniel, was extremely helpful and very courteous and friendly. I found what I was looking for and more. I have foot problems when hiking and he fitted me with a great pair of inserts. Ill definitely be back.

You wont find better service anywhere for shoes! I was helped by Patrick to find some boots and he was the best. Absolutely zero pressure to make a purchase and he was very patient helping me look for something my picky feet will tolerate 😁

I went into the store this morning looking for saltwater sandals for my daughter. The sales lady was helping us, just sized my baby and was mid sentence about which size would work, when a man came in asking about boots. She literally said I’ll be right back and walked over to help the man who just walked in! I’m sure his sale was worth more than ours. So they lost my business.

What a fantastic store! This was my first visit here and I was impressed by the selection, store lay-out and friendly staff. Heather helped me to locate some products to keep my Suede boots looking good. She is knowledgeable, helpful & wonderful to chat with. Location is convenient, as was parking.

I was a bit hesitant about going into Becks as I had been going to Dons for decades and although I was happy for Don and his family to retire I was sad to see them to go and worried where I would find comparable customer service...quality customer service. Someone who would care.Well, I am happy to say that Becks has a super selection of quality and very fashionable shoes and the customer service i received was top notch.The young men were very attentive but I was not eager to discuss my needs as I am diabetic and my feet are in bad shape. But a very nice young lady with a similar personality greeted me and really went the extra mile to understand my needs. She pulled probably 20 pairs of shoes I was interested in but it was her knowledge that sold me on the right shoe for right event. Heather was refreshing and eventhough I was in a lot of pain she had me laughing the whole time and she knew her stuff.I recommend Becks Shoes if youre tired of wasting your money. Go to Becks and get a real pair of quality shoes from people who care.

Really impressed with the product and customer service from this store!! I was going to different stores across Yuba City and Marysville area looking for comfortable boots for work and every store disappointed. But when I went to Beck’s I was greeted right at the door by this nice young lady named Carol. She showed me all the boots they had there and I finally found the perfect pair. Now I can go to work with comfort and assurance that my boots won’t hurt my feet. Definitely coming back for another pair soon!!

Staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. Ive never had a shoe store experience quite like this. The gentleman working knew so much about all the shoes and measured hubbys feet. We didnt end up buying anything that day but will definitely be going back. They carry a lot of nice leather boots and a large assortment of saltwater sandals. Shoes for men, women and children.

I went shopping here on 10/07 because my feet were in a lot of pain and I was looking for some comfortable shoes I was not expecting to actually buy anything however I was helped by an employee by the name of Carol and she assisted me and put me on the scanner and I got to see the areas of my feet that were affected in pain and I ended up leaving the store with two pairs of shoes and two pairs of insoles. I experienced great customer service, the entire team is amazing and I will definitely be returning to this location to shop again.

Pretty good prices and quality for boots and dress shoes. They also have very knowledgeable salesman guys that dont upsell, which surprised me. The boots I wanted werent there but they ordered them for me at no extra charge, so I would recommend if youre looking work shoes.

Not sure how my previous review was removed but the truth must be told. If you are planning to order online forget about it as once they process your payment you wont get your shoes shipped to you in the time they promise 14 days. Its been over 3 months and I have not yet received my shoes and no message from Don shoes after repeated phone calls and emails. I needed the shoes for an important function and had to find an alternative and quickly purchased shoes from a competitor and received in the time in the time they promised. Don shoes is unreliable in their promise to get their product to you in a timely manner.

Went into Becks this past Saturday 10/30/21 and Carol greeted me kindly. I was just looking for a pair of shoes because my feet were hurting me after working 13 hours. Carol measured my feet and then scanned them; she also introduced me to some insoles and some comfortable socks. Needless to say, I went home with a pair of boots, two pairs of inserts and a few items for my wife. Will be coming back again. Thank you.

I live in Indiana and wanted to buy Birkenstocks for my mother in Yuba City. I called the store and they were more than helpful! He took pictures of the options I had with a narrow foot. I chose a great pair from the information and pictures. I paid over the phone. I wasnt sure how to get them to her and he offered to take them over to her and DID!! How kind is that! Hands down the only place Ive ever bought boots and will continue to do so. 2 weeks ago I bought my 3rd pair of boots and my only request was that it would be waterproof. The following week I was working outside in a few inches of water and in a matter of minutes my feet were soaked and spent the rest of the day miserable. I went in and I formed them of the mistake (they gave me the non-waterproof pair). They quickly went to the back and gave me the boots I requested with a extra feature, steel toe. As a apology for the rookie mistake as the owner called it. Their excellent customer service is the best in the business and if you are in need of new boots, Dons Shoes is the place to go.

Best shoe buying experience in the area. Guy named Joe works there. he is amazing. he hooks you up you will have the most comfortable shoes feet and work wear you can imagine. They have some of the name brands that other stores dont carry like Irish Setters Red Wings, Danner, and Georgia Boot. I felt great dealing with Joe.(In my best Training Day/Denzel Washington voice:Al Bundy... aint got... sh!t on... JOE!!) 😂

I have been going to Dons shoes since I was a little girl, I am bow in my forties, my mom started taking me there as a child because they were the only place in town that had shoes in different widths not just length, I have a high in step and it has always been a challenge to find quality shoes, Dons carries a good selection of quality shoes, Clarks happen to be my favorite, I can wear Clarks everyday for years before they wear out!! The staff is quick ad friendly and I love giving to a locally owed family business, God bless you Don, I hope your family continues selling quality shoes long after you retire!

Ive gotten several pairs of UGGs over the yrs here. Everyone is super nice and a far better place to get shoes than a big department store. They have even ordered me UGGs in colors they didnt have in store which came super quick.

If I could give a no star report it would be here. I walked into the store to help my friend in her mid eighties purchase a pair of shoes. There was a tall bald man with a bandana on his face working in the store. Before there was a hello or anything we were told we could not be in the store because we did not have masks on. I was treated horribly by another shopper yelling at me that “Wearing a mask is the law” My friend left the store after shopping there for years and says she will not go back. I told the other shopper that wearing a face covering is a guideline, not a law and that he was being rude by yelling at me and attacking me when it was not his conversation. He apologized that he had yelled at me. The store worker apologized for the customer yelling at me and I said that it was not his fault but that I wanted to know about exemptions because and he just told me to leave. I asked if I could have a business card with the name of the manager or owner of the store and was told he would not give me that information and that I needed to leave the store. When I turned to leave the store the worker and the man who yelled at me were laughing. My friend who was wanting to buy the shoes was very hurt. She has lived in Yuba City for years and shopped there many times. During this whole “emergency” she had never worn a mask and she never “sheltered in” and she did not get sick. I never have been treated with such disrespect in a store in the community where I live.
