Dan was super friendly and welcoming, and took the time to talk to us about the civil war restoration prints, underground railroad quilts and the different new lines they had in store. Definitely recommend for quilting fabrics and good vibes~

Spent a few days in Big Bear with friends and walked into this amazing shop making a whole lot of commotion! Staff was great putting up with this crazy bunch and Belinda was kind enough to spend a lot of time with us, educating us on Featherweights and sharing her abundance of knowledge. What a pleasant experience! Sew much fun, we all had a blast! Cant wait to visit again!

Its such a cozy store! The owner was wonderful and friendly. I am a scrapbooker, and when I saw all of the beautiful material and the huge variety, it reminded me of scrapbook paper. Overall, it was a beautiful quilting store!

I was so lucky I found this store I call she was about to closed but she waited for me and I’m so happy I bought few items I’m coming back just to take some classes with her so nice,took time to show me around the store come here great quality great fabrics.

This is the best quilt shop on the mountain! Also, the friendliest. They have a huge inventory and everything you need to get a project done. Not to mention the most knowledgeable staff. Classes too. If you have the time I highly recommend you stop in.

This is the best quilt shop I have ever been to and I am not saying that because I live in Big Bear. Every quilt shop has its own flavor. You will feel welcome here from a beginner to advanced quilter. Do not go here for something quick although they have plenty of items for your sewing friends. Belinda has something that will catch your eye at every turn and before you know you will find another creation besides the one you came in with. Belinda does beautiful long arm quilting and Iam not really into that but she is an artist and it is just exquisite to view. Walking into the store is a mini retreat in itself. Store is completely ADA.

Even if you cant quilt you will fall in love with this place. Gifts and sewing supplies in abundance! Knowledgeable staff...classroom for quilting guild. ...computer controlled long arm for those larger projects. The owner, Belinda,and her staff.. Elaine, Nick, Dan, et al...will help you select cloth, patterns, kits, even buttons! Right next door to Sizzler....take mom to lunch, then treat her to the gifts at Bear Country quilts.....she will love you for it...(fred)

Wonderful staff and very helpful. Beautiful sections of fabrics, flannel and also some wool. Belinda also does longarm quilting. The shop is beautifully decorated.
