For last 30 years I am using B&C service. Every time I am getting excellent service. They prefer reputable parts supplier and they guaranty there work. They also can give an excellent advice. They prefer to perform jobs that really improve my vehicle performance and avoid “optional” jobs. (Couple of times I was recommended not to fix engine in old cars – “car can run as-is, but if you start working on it some other parts my require replacement and it may be unreasonable investment in old car.”)As I can see, they have a lot of work, and the priority for this shop not to make money, but to make as many vehicles run well without any problems.I highly recommend this shop.

I have taken 3 different vehicles to B&C Auto for the last 4 years, Ford F-150, Honda CRV, Toyota Scion, Never posted anything, I like to wait if the job was done right, see if the repairs are holding up. I must say that Ray and his son Cory, and the other mechanics there do a good job, at a fair price. I like the way Ray the father explains whats wrong with the vehicle, and what can be done to fix it. Its a family run business thats been in Vista over 40 years. As a truck and car owner I am a very happy customer.

I went in to get some pricing. The man at the counter seemed nice enough. When I asked for the price of a transmission diagnostic I was told it would be $160 and they would need my car all day. When I asked how much a flush would be he said $150 but not to do it and explained why. This sparked my interest as the way it was explained to me seemed like my car engine would blow up if I did it. (Now, I already knew the flush wasn’t a good idea when I went in. It’s a cheap bandaid for a most often bigger problem that left unchecked will destroy my transmission. Often it will damage your transmission to the point where replacing it is the only option.) When I asked for the labor price it took everything not to laugh! $180 per hour!!! The industry standard, even when you adjust for inflation, is $150 per hour for a standard domestic mechanic of which this establishment absolutely is! When I called around to aaa certified mechanic and I was shock to see their labor per hour was an average of $130 per hour domestic. When my husband went in the price per hour was less. The service recommendations were extremely different and did not involve leaving the car there all day. I am not going to claim the man at the counter targeted me because of my gender. I’ll leave that up to the individuals reading this. I am just here to heed the warning. I WILL NOT be returning!!!

Top-drawer, sharpest tool in the shop. Ray and Cory operate the finest automotive tech in the county. Men with substantial character, ability, competency, motive, and care. Consistent in demonstrating they understand my needs and act in my best interest. My vehicles are in the best of hands.

Rest assured, no surprises at B&C auto repair. This is the second time I have taken my truck for repair at B&C and have been happy with the repairs. You get a thorough inspection, and a true quote on the repair costs before the work is started. They use quality manufactured parts insuring the best quality repair.

Ray and his family provide an incredible service with their Auto B&C business. They are experts at detecting and repairing cars and trucks. They are honest and respectful to customers. Weve been having them fix our cars for 25 or 30 years. Highly recommend them. They are caring and like family. Thank you so much for your gift of service to all your customers.

This family run business has take care of all my various vehicles, including big Dodge and Ford Super Duty trucks since 2015. They are hardworking good human beings who take pride in and stand behind their work. I am proud to be one of their customers.

All seemed very good, this is was first time here for service and O2 errorGot the the service but the oil % was not resetO2 is caused by oil from a turbo installed by Ford dealership 6 months ago, so going back to Carlsbad Ford for repairs needed by the poor quality of installation of new turbos

It’s not often in life that you find what you’ve been looking for. At B&C Automotive I have found it. An honest company comprised of ownership and workers that provide great service.
